Zabuza was surprised but never let his guard falter, Kakashi appeared behind him, Zabuza swung his sword at Kakashi who blocked it with a kunai.
Kakashi went for a kick straight at Zabuzas's stomach, a clean hit.
Zabuza jumped back to recover, Kakashi disappeared and re-appeared beside Zabuza.
Zabuza barely dodges a kunai to the throat, The two Jonin vanish and become a blurry mess on the battlefield clashing with each other left and right.
Tazuna couldn't keep track of anything, all he could hear was metal clanging in 5 different places at once, the Genin could keep track of the blurs but not enough to pick up on anything.
Sasuke was starting to tremble 'I-Is this how strong I would need to be, to kill Itachi, how... how are they THIS strong, am I going to die!?' Sasuke was starting to show fear, Zabuza went for the Genin, to surprise Kakashi.
Zabuza created a water clone in the trees, he waited until the right moment where he and Kakashi clashed, then the water clone appeared in front of the Genin and Tazuna, They froze.
Kakashi acted quickly, (KAMUI) Kakashi had never activated the Mangekyo so fast before, the water clone's arm dissipated in a black hole of some kind, the water clone disbursed.
Kakashi appeared in front of the group, "No matter what happens I will protect you with my LIFE" Kakashi's calm words snapped them out of their fear.
Kakashi reverted his Mangekyo to the normal Sharingan.
'I can't get hit by that, whatever that is it would kill me in an instant If it lands correctly' Zabuza sighed 'The bingo book only said he recently advanced his Sharingan to a new level, it never said anything about a new Jutsu'
Kakashi pulled his guard up and waited for Zabuza to strike... "Kakashi sensei behind you!" Naruto yelled seeing the figure of Zabuza.

This time Naruto, Sasuke, and Hinata were prepared.

"Maybe it to do with the water" Hinata guessed "the water is heavy and thick so that's probably why the heavy water would make water Jutsu more durable"
"Smart girl, hahaha too bad your sensei will be dead before you can dispel me" Zabuza's clone was getting cocky.
"We'll see about that (shadow clone Jutsu)" Naruto created 15 clones, 3 clones went behind Zabuza, 4 guarded Tazuna, 2 stayed beside Naruto, and the rest Surrounded and charged at Zabuza.
"Again? I thought you were smart" (chakra burst) "Not quite the same no-brows"
'they've sped up and they're surrounded in blue chakra- Wait did he just call me no-brows!?' one of Naruto's clones almost landed a spin kick to the back of Zabuza's head, but Zabuza dodged it at the last second.
The clones were dodging Zabuza's counter swings and they kept up a steady pace, dodging and countering Zabuza's swings.
Zabuza eventually had enough of this, he grabbed his sword with one arm and waited for the perfect moment... NOW! Zabuza performed a 360-degree slash with his sword, dispelling all the clones at once.

Zabuza looked behind him, spinning kunai's with flames on the end of them were coming straight towards him Naruto and Hinata threw six each and Sasuke shot 12 fireballs, all of them directed at Zabuza.
Zabuza managed to block 8 the other 4 scratched him, he was being pushed, all of a sudden three Kunai went into his backside, one right at the spine, the other at the neck, the last to the head.

Zabuza and Kakashi were in the middle of an intense battle, Kakashi was throwing Kunai and Shuriken left-right, and center, Zabuza was blocking and dashing in between the Kunai to get to Kakashi.
Kakashi focused on his Sharingan, he wanted to get a good read on Zabuza before confronting him with Taijutsu. Zabuza, being aware of the strategy, changed up his style and swings trying to make them unpredictable, not something he is used to, but as a Ninja, you need to change up based on the situation at hand.
Kakashi noticed this wasn't working if he predicted the wrong movement then that would be game over with a sword Zabuza's size, Kakashi had to switch it up as well.
Zabuza and Kakashi entered Taijutsu combat, both were had to tread carefully here, if Zabuza got too predictable and Kakashi saw any opening in Zabuza's Taijutsu he was done if Kakashi didn't keep his guard up he was dead, if he let himself get pushed too far back Zabuza could corner him with the upper hand.

"Good job squad 7, guard Tazuna we don't know if Zabuza has an accomplice or not." Kakashi gave the orders squad 7 nodded and went to their positions.
Zabuza looked at Kakashi "Seems the brats are more competent than what I thought" Zabuza laughed "Too bad that potential is going to die away, along with the bridge builder" Zabuza put his sword away and prepared for hand seals.
"I wouldn't be too sure of that you might be the one to end up dead, DEMON OF THE MIST" Kakashi put his kunai away and prepared for Hand seals, his Sharingan spinning like a pinwheel.
Zabuza and Kakashi went through the same hand seals, Zabuza was starting to get paranoid 'N-No way the just WHAT is the SHARINGAN'

A masked Ninja appeared next to Zabuza "I need a hand, help me kill Kakashi, then we take on the Genin and finish the Job" Zabuza ordered.

"Now way your gonna get to Kakashi sensei, not on our watch" Naruto yelled, if Kakashi was struggling to hold his own against Zabuza then Kakashi might be in deep trouble if he got tag teamed.
"Fine, Ice, you go after the Genin" Zabuza looked at the masked Ninja, he nodded back.
squad 7 had a new opponent now, some masked fighter, called Ice? has to be some nickname.
"well I hope you're ready, you may be dressed like an Anbu or something, but you can't beat us, we will not lose, I have to become HOKAGE SOMEDAY! So I can't afford to lose!" Naruto pointed at his opponent, then prepared for the battle ahead.
"I was impressed you were able to defeat Zabuza's clone, but I must warn you, I'm over 5X stronger than THAT" With that Ice went into their stance.
Naruto pulled out some Kunai and threw them at Ice, they blocked it effortlessly, "Is that all?" the Kunai transformed into Naruto clones, they all went in for an attack, one behind trying to kick Ice into the air the other two at both sides, both throwing a hook.
Ice disappeared, the Naruto's punched themself's and the other got stomped on. "Is that really your best?" Naruto grumbled "how disappointing" *poof*.
'still got some tricks left I see, well it won't do any good' Ice proceeded to go straight for the group, Naruto and Sasuke went for a collaboration technique, Nodding at Hinata.
""(squad 7 style: mist bomb)"" Naruto and Sasuke shot a big fireball and liquid bullet towards Ice, Ice felt nothing until.
*zip* *zap* Ice felt themself get poked and palmed from all sides, it hurt and stung like hell.
Ice needed to get out of this situation
they Jumped out of the mist, only for Naruto and Sasuke to jump above them and perform a double ax kick, knocking them back into the mist.
it was a repeat of Ice getting out only for them to get kicked straight back in. Ice had a plan.
Ice predicted Hinata's movements and grabbed her arm, Hinata Landed a small strike to Ice's arm, allowing her to escape, "(8 trigrams, 64 palms)" Ice did not like the sound of that, "(Ice style: spinning senbone)" Hinata seen the small bits of chakra in the air form multiple ice spear's.
'Not good, need to use a different Jutsu, it's imperfect, but I need to use rotation' Hinata span around, creating a spinning blue orb around her.
Ice spears all crashed and broke against the Jutsu. Hinata couldn't hold out much longer.
Naruto and Sasuke were surprised by a wave of ice senbon gushing out of the mist, Naruto used (wind style: futon gale palm) and wiped out the mist.

he was getting angry "Hinata! are you ok!?" Naruto saw the sweat on her face as she struggled to get up.
"I'm f-fine" She was exhausted, Kunoichi don't have much chakra capacity, and after using the (Byakugan) and gentle fist, as well as rotation (imperfect) she was drained.
Naruto and Sasuke went into a flurry of Taijutsu against Ice, it was about even, Ice grabbed Naruto's hand and Sasuke's foot then flipped Sasuke and kicked Naruto in the gut, Sasuke went for a counter-attack but Ice was faster and spinning back kicked Sasuke in the jaw.
after that Ice dominated the Tiajutus brawl, Hinata was slowly getting up, with the help of Tazuna, Hinata saw her teammates struggle in a battle of Taijutsu against Ice.
Naruto never had the time to charge chakra burst, and Sasuke didn't have the speed to keep up with Ice, only Hinata could beat Ice in Taijutsu.
Hinata threw shuriken and kunai at Ice, catching them off guard for a second, Naruto and Sasuke jumped back too.
"Ok guys, remember that Fuinjutsu move I was talking about? I finally got the seal down, 2 for each and I'll tell you the details now..." Naruto whispered the information into Sasuke's and Hinata's ears, they understood.
"So... it's our best shot at the moment, we work best in that specific area so it should work, even with the drawbacks" Sasuke muttered to himself.
"It's worth a shot! Naruto's Fuinjutsu may be at a rookie-level, but they always come through, plus if it fails then he knows what to do the next time!" Hinata was enthusiastic about Naruto's Fuinjutsu, it brought out her cheer bubbly side, Naruto liked that and it put a blush on the blonde's face.
"Too bad there won't be the next time," Ice said "I am going to make you wish you were never born if you continue, you can still live if you give Tazuna over no-" Ice never got to finish
"NO WAY! WE HAVE OUR OWN MISSION TO FULFILL, I NEED TO BECOME HOKAGE SO WE'RE GOING TO WIN THIS ONE!" Naruto handed 1 scroll to Hinata and one to Sasuke, it was a green scroll.
"WE CAN'T LOSE, EVERYONE HERE HAS A DREAM, MINES IS TO BE HOKAGE!" Squad 7 unsealed the scroll, it was two small Katana's the size they were taught how to use in the academy.
"AND I WILL ACCOMPLISH THAT GOAL... BELIEVE IT!" Naruto's katana had wind and water surrounding it, the length of the wind was that of a normal broad sword

Naruto, Hinata, and Sasuke charged at Ice. Naruto went for a slice right to the throat, Ice dodged it and went for a high kick, Naruto jumped back to dodge, Sasuke went for a slice while Ice had their back turned, Ice blocked Sasuke's attack.
Hinata went for a flurry of blows, Ice danced around Hinata's blades, Hinata went for an attack on Ice's stomach, he couldn't dodge so he blocked it, but.
The water went straight through the senbone, Ice was surprised at this and jumped back, not enough to fully dodge the blow, but enough so the wound wasn't deep.
"(shadow clone Justu!) (transform!)"
Naruto's clones transformed into different members of team 7, Ice would have to predict which one could go through his senbone, through their battle Ice was able to tell what the difference was between team 7.
Naruto had a good style on him, a more advanced version of the basic academy Taijutsu, his attacks were the strongest of all team 7, his clones were the same in style but they lost the physical stats Naruto had to make up for that they use strategy and outnumber you not only that but they fight in sync.
Sasuke was the fastest of the group and was starting to predict Ice's movements, Sasuke's fire Jutsu could melt the weak ice attacks, but Ice had a special Jutsu planned for that.
Hinata had the best Taijutsu, if Ice were to face her in a Taijutsu one on one the results would be in her favor.
Ice was having trouble finding the real Squad 7, the squad 7 were pushing Ice, and they had one last Idea.
"Ok, guy's all together!" Naruto indicated a full rush, their final assault, this was make or break, do or die.

"Oh about that, hehe, They break, the chakra used are too powerful for normal blades so they break upon use, along with the seals." Naruto rubbed the back of his head.
"Y-You mean they could have broken anytime during the battle!?" Sasuke got scared for a second.
"Yeah, but I knew they would last for a long time, the sealing paper I used was shit I'm surprised they lasted this long!" Naruto was sounding impressed.
"N-Naruto you almost got us killed just so you could save some money!?" Sasuke wanted to punch Naruto for this.
"C'mon money was tight that month... and that's every month, I wanted the limited edition ramen cup, apparently it tastes sooo good!" Naruto remembered buying the ramen, it was the last one in stock.
"We better get back to the task at hand, and Naruto if you need money for sealing paper, I am technically a princess." Hinata offered.
"I'll keep that in mind, Tazuna's safe in the trees, My clone is down there pretending to be Tazuna, Ice seems to have let his guard down, let's go!"

all of a sudden, 2 Fuma shurikens came flying towards Ice, in response Ice made hand seals.
A massive wall of Ice blocked off the shurikens' path, too bad they were clones
"bellow you!" 2 clones shouted.
Ice looked bellow only to see two palms directed at their stomach.
"TO!" The clones used (wind style: futon gale palm) and blasted a gale of wind, knocking ice up higher.
The clones that got stuck in the ice wall transformed into a wooden plank, to be used as leverage for the real Naruto "(SHADOW CLONE JUTSU, CHAKRA BURST)" 2 clones appeared, with the same blue aura of chakra powering them up and increasing their speed.

'These clones never hit that hard before, is it because of this blue aura, ITS RAW CHAKRA' Ice cracked Naruto's Jutsu, It increased all of his physical stat's and chakra molding speed was heightened, an incredible Jutsu but the cost must have been massive, this kids chakra capacity must have been large.
"now, where is the original?" Ice spoke in a cold voice, as they looked around for the original Naruto, they threw senbone at all the clones.

"(NARUTO UZUMAKI BARRAGE! SQUAD 7 STYLE!)" Ice forgot about the other members.
Ice rose his guard, all three members landed an ax-kick on Ice's arms, all three members had chakra burst, but Naruto had the most chakra so his foot had a larger aura of chakra.
"Naruto, Hinata, NOW!" Sasuke went through hand seals, with Sasuke in the middle and Naruto, Hinata at his side.

"Did that get him?" Hinata asked since she was almost out of chakra and didn't have much stamina left "I-I don't know how much longer I can last Naruto and Sasuke, I'm sorry..." Hinata never had the stamina to keep up with Naruto and Sasuke, and she had already over exceeded her limit.
"Don't worry Hinata, you protect the "Tazuna", Me and Sasuke can figure out a way to help Kakashi from long range" Naruto gave a smirk.
"If it weren't for you we would already be dead, just focus on protecting "Tazuna" we'll handle the rest" Sasuke gave a small smile.
Hinata gaurded Tazuna. Naruto went into his bag and pulled out a Fuma shuriken, he handed it over to Sasuke, Zabuza was gonna be sliced in half.
meant to release this a little sooner, I knew Kakashi never used mangekyo because the creator never thought of it at the time, but in this timeline, I'm gonna say that Kakashi needed to re-awaken his MS in order to use it like how in the Shippuden flashack kid Sasuke had a 1-tomoe Sharingan but in part 1 awakened it in the land of waves, so in Chapter 4 you may have been wondering "Kakashi already awakened his Sharingan when he killed Rin" here's the explanation for it.
on the way to the land of waves (30 minutes after the ambush, 30 minutes before the chapter even began)
Naruto was reading the new installment of Icha Icha, and had 'tale of the utterly gutsy ninja in his bag' he was going to read them in his spare time probably after training and coming up with seal idea's to which his clones would practice making them (the lesser advance one's, he needed his full concentration for the massive modifications) 'Ohh here comes ma favorite part!' Jiraiya's writing had only improved especially on the nude parts.
Tazuna looked over at Naruto "Hey kid, not sure I should be saying this since you saved my life and interrogated Ninja, but isn't that stuff too old for you? I mean you do have good taste" Tazuna blushed, unless it was the alcohol, he could see a fellow icha icha lover.
"Don't worry, I don't have parents so I won't get scolded, plus I have read all the books" Naruto gave a grin.

"Naruto come on I really want to read it, please!" Hinata was right beside Naruto, trying to read the book. CRAP IT WAS STILL ON THAT PAGE!
"NOOOO!" Naruto put the book away. and performed a backflip.
"Then, I have no choice" Hinata got into her gentle fist stance.
Naruto and Hinata went into a Taijutsu flurry, with Hinata playing solely offense, and Naruto blocking the wrist's, careful around the palm blows.
"This might be a good idea, Naruto doesn't want Hinata to see Icha icha books that much his Taijutsu increases to the point where he can stand against Hinata in Taijutsu, a massive feat" Kakashi nodded, ready to implicate new training methods.
"They're on a mission and they still train? you leaf ninja are just built differently from the rest" Tazuna shook his head.
"Naruto, Hinata save your strength for the next encounter," Sasuke ordered.
Naruto was holding Hinata and Hinata was moving in with her legs, they looked like partners in ballroom dance. they realized this at the same time, both their faces flushed and blushed brighter than tomatoes.
"Don't tell me, teenage romance?" Tazuna was smiling, teasing the young folk was funny, especially about girlfriends.
"Stop it you two love birds, or I may have to report this to the Hokage, and he gossips about romance all the time, the entire Ninja world would know about this" Kakashi said it all in a non-caring attitude, made it all the more serious.
Naruto and Hinata split apart from each other, both bright red. The walk soon goy more louder, but it was a 5-minute walk in embarrassment, with Naruto and Hinata looking at each other, Sasuke had to hold in his laughter, Tazuna and Kakashi were amassed at the lover's displease.
