Ann woke with a sudden gasp from her sleep.

"What did I just see..." Ann asked herself wondering what she had seen in her sleep.

And she turned her head to her left to see Sigurd was sleeping in a chair with a small blanket.

"You should consider yourself fortunate, to have found a companion like Mr. Kaslana Mrs. Potter." Came Madam Pomfrey's voice.

"Pardon?" Asked Ann wondering what the Healer was talking about.

"I said that you should feel fortunate that you have a friend like Mr. Kaslana, the lad insisted that he stayed here until you recovered, even when I said no." Pomfrey told Ann.

"Yeah..." Ann said in a hush tone.

"By the way how's Neville?" Ann asked as she saw Neville in front of her.

"Mr. Longbottom? The young lad will be recovering in two days, fortunately the accident in the potion class wasn't anything too grievous." Pomfrey said.

"Good, that's good, I really don't want to be considered responsible for... Pardon my callous words, his passing." Ann said in an apologetic tone as she didn't feel like she had a proper response.

"No one wants such a burden on their lives Mrs. Potter, it is a good thing to have friends around because at the very least you can rely on people you can trust, now I have to leave I have other matters to attend to Gryffindor quidditch practice session had a Ravenclaw team member break his right arm." Pomfrey gave Ann her advice before leaving her alone with Sigurd to her left.

And Ann couldn't help but sport a small smile.

The Following day

"Mr. Kaslana is time to wake." Came Madam Pomfrey's voice as she gently shook Sigurd.

Sigurd then squinted his eyes, and saw Poppy standing in front of him, he turned to his left to see if Ann was there but she seemed to have already been woken up.

"Doc, where's Ann?" Sigurd asked Poppy

"Mrs. Potter? he woke up hours ago to attend classes, though I strictly prohibited her from doing so as it do more harm than it would do good." Poppy said as Sigurd got up from his chair.

"Thanks Doctor." Sigurd said as he gave a nod and began to walk away.

"You are most welcomed Mr. Kaslana, and see you around." Poppy said as she gave Sigurd her farewells, to which he returned with a nod of his head.

"You do realize in how much trouble you are Sigurd." Hermione asked Sigurd as she looked with a slightly less then pleased to her face.

"I know in how much trouble I am, and how the other in the house see me, and I'll cost the house the House cup in the end of the year, but sadly I am not one to care for some as trivial as that." Sigurd said, as he walked towards the great hall, not really caring for the house and he turned to face Hermione.

"By the way do you have the class notes I could borrow?" Sigurd asked Hermione, who simply let out a tired sigh.

"Sure." Hermione said as they walked inside the great hall where they were met with the less than pleased looks of the Gryffindor students looking at Sigurd for costing the house points for his absence.

"What's up with these people? Are they some sort of Football hooligans or something? Wait... No they're quidditch Hooligans." Sigurd thought to himself as saw several students arguing which Quidditch team would win the season and what not, and he also heard the threat of bodily violence coming from the Gryffindor table, he took a deep breath and walked towards the table where the Gryffindor were sitting, and he noticed Ann was sitting with Ron as they were eating their breakfast.

With Ron, for once, eating something light, which was just a cup of milk and a marmalet sandwich, and Ann was eating a bowl of cereal.

"Hey, nice to see that you are alright Ann." Sigurd said as he walked up to the table.

"Hey Sigurd." Greeted Ann as she saw him walking up to them as he being followed by Hermione.

"How've you been?" Sigurd asked Ann.

"I've been good, and... I want to say thanks, for taking me to infirmary." Ann said as she expressed her gratitude.

"No problem, uh..." Sigurd accepted the thanks, but the following sentence he didn't know what to tell as he pointed at the stool, which made Ron and Ann looking at him questioningly.

"Oh, Right." Ann said as she made some space for Sigurd and Hermione to sit on.

"So what've you guys been up to?" Sigurd asked out of the blue.

"Well... Madam Pomfrey told me that I should be taking a break for these last few days due to someone using some sort of a jinx or a curse." Ann informed her entourage.

"You think it was Draco? After all he hasn't made any attempt to hide his dislike towards you." Sigurd asked Ann who simply shrugged her arms.

"I don't know." Ann responded.

"Ann's right, Draco's doesn't seem the sort to jinx or curse behind someone's back." Ron joined in on the conversation.

"You shouldn't underestimate someone's ability to attack on the back." Hermione also joined the conversation.

"If you want my piece I think he would be coming in front of us to challenge one of us in a duel, but wouldn't appear as he had informed Filch about it." Sigurd said as he picked up a banana to eat.

"So... what do we have on our schedule?" Asked Sigurd no one in particular.

"Well... after lunch we've got flight practices with Madam Hooch, and after that a session with professor Sprout class with Herbology." Seamus Finnegan answered for them.

"Thank you, my Irish friend." Sigurd responded as he saluted Saemus, who returned the gesture with a nod of his head.

"So do you want to attend the broom flight practices, Sigurd?" Ron asked Sigurd, who shook his head.

"Maybe?" Sigurd said with uncertainty in his tone, as he didn't know whether he wished to attend those practices or not, but considering the line of work he would inherit when he becomes an adult it'd be best if he sucked it up and went to the flight practices.

"We'll see in time." Said Sigurd as he chewed down on his banana.

Then a Neville came walking towards the Gryffindor table feeling a bit embarrassed due to him messing up in the potions class.

"Hey Nev, Pomfrey sure let you out early." Commented Sigurd.

"Uh, yeah Madam Pomfrey let me out earlier than was expected, after making some diagnosis." Neville replied as some Barn Owls flew through the hole on top of the great hall's window, and they were carrying some packages.

And two Owls landed in front of Neville and Sigurd, whom proceeded to grab the package and opened took out a letter, Sigurd heard a groan coming from Neville.

"What is Neville?" Sigurd asked Neville.

"It's from my grandmother." Neville said with a mix of a tired and exasperated tone, and proceeded to open it revealing a a glass ball with a golden circle around it.

"What is that?" Asked Ann.

"That's a Remembrall, the inside of it turns into a red cloud if you have forgotten something." Hermione explained, as everyone in the table looked at Neville's new "toy" which turned into a red cloud.

"That much I know, but I don't know what I've forgotten." Neville said

Hours later.

In the court yard

As everyone some of the Slytherin and Gryffindor 1st years were waiting in the courtyard a woman in her late 70s arrived.

"Good Morning students, I am Madam Hooch, and I'll be your instructor for this flight session." Said a woman with spiky grey hair which was cut short and had piercing, yellow, hawk-like golden eyes, She wore a white button-down collared shirt and black necktie with the Hogwarts crest, probably under a cloak.

"Good Morning, Ma'am." Said the gathered students.

"So, first things first, here you will learn how to fly a broom, which will be as useful as your wand if the situation is dire, and if you are looking for a quidditch career there's no better place to learn how to fly your broom." Said Hooch.

"I'll have to ask a Herrscher about that..." Sigurd thought to himself as he heard from Hooch that a broom would save him from a dire situation, but against an Entity like an Herrscher... Yeah... he wouldn't want to tempt fate anytime soon against them.

"Alright so to start off things first each of you have a broom that you will be practicing today, now raise your arms over the broom and say "up". " Hooch instructed.

And the students did as Hooch said and said "up" with varying results.

Ron's broom smashed right into his face.

Hermione's broom got on her hand on the first try, which made her give a smug look.

Ann got surprised when her broom got into her hand the first try.

Sigurd's broom violently flew past him, which caused him to duck which he proceeded to go and grab it, this got a few laughs out of the gathered students, which Madam Hooch quickly quieted down with a glare.

And Neville's broom had the same effect as Ron's, and it smashed to his face.

As for Draco, well... he was sporting he same smug look that was on Hermione's.

"Alright, now mount them up and wait for my signal to start." Hooch told the students who mounted their brooms.

"Good, now say levitate, and you will start floating in the air, but in time using a broom will become like a 6th sense." Hooch again instructed while trying to encourage them, and the students followed suit.

"Levitate." Said the gathered students, which got various responses, again.

Ron's, Hermione's, Ann's and Draco's broom levitated with relative ease, as for Neville's and Sigurd... The former was having difficulty with his broom and as for Sigurd, it didn't feel like riding a bike, and it felt more like something's trying to smash his nuts while the broom tried to float in the air.

"Verdammt." Cursed Sigurd as he felt like being lifted into the air which made him rather highly uncomfortable.

"Levitate." Neville said when his broom violently levitated into the air and began to erratically fly in the air, until the broom crashed into the courtyard entry gate and Neville hung on a gargoyle, by his robe and it ripped causing him to fall to the ground.

This made Neville's friends wince a bit seeing that just this morning he got out of the infirmary, so they ran towards him so they could help him up.

"You alright Neville?" Asked Ann as she approached him.

"I think I just broke my arm." Neville replied as he was cradling his arm.

"Out of the way, Out of the way." Hooch said as she made her way through the students and walked up to Neville and grabbed his arm which had turned a dark shade of purple, and probable had a carked forearm bone.

"Let's get you to Pomfrey, to get that arm patched up, as for you lot don't do anything foolish until I have arrived." Hooch said as she turned and looked at the other students, who simply nodded though Malfoy simply rolled his eyes in annoyance though he spotted something had landed near him.

And so Hooch got Neville on his feet and off the infirmary they went.

"Hey look at what that oaf just dropped." Said Draco as he showed his cronies Neville's remembrall.

"Hey Draco, that belongs to Neville." Came Ann's voice as she turned to look at the Malfoy Heir.

"Really Potter? And what are you going to do about it?" Said Draco as he got into his broom and floated into the air.

And with a frown on her face appeared, but before she could mount her broom she was momentarily stopped by Hermione.

"Ann whatever you do don't think about it, you heard what Madam Hooch said, what if you get into trouble again like you did with Professor Snape." Hermione reminded Ann, to which she let out a sigh.

"Hermione, damned if I do damned if I don't and besides it's high time that Draco got knocked off of his high horse." Ann said as she mounted her broom and levitated towards Draco's position.

"Give that back, Draco or I'll knock you off your broom!" Ann threatened.

"I'd like yo see you try Potter." Draco taunted.

Below

"We have got to stop them." Hermione said as pinned her attention at Ann and Draco.

"Is there anything we can do about it?" Ron asked Hermione.

"Guys, I'd say we do nothing." Sigurd told them.

"How can you say that? What if they get hurt or something?" Hermione asked Sigurd.

"Even if we were to help them, we would only make the matter worse, and who knows they might fall off their brooms and break some bones, or worse their necks." Sigurd told Hermione, who stopped, and took a deep breath.

"I guess you are right on that Sigurd." Hermione said realizing that Sigurd was right, and that they'd make the situation worse than it was instead of being of help they'd put both Draco and Ann in more harms way.

With Ann and Draco

"Well, what are you waiting for, afraid you may fall off?" Draco asked with a smirk on his face.

Ann simply snarled and charged Draco with her Broom but the Blond Slytherin was faster as he managed to dodge.

"Well, if you want it so bad, then go and catch it." Draco said as he threw the remembrall at the distance, and Ann flew past him and at a high speed trying to catch the remembrall.

With Minerva.

"I swear I will die of grading students, instead of old Age." Minerva McGonagall thought to herself as she graded the stack of papers that were the students homework, and took a sip of tea.

Until suddenly she saw Ann Potter flying towards her office and suddenly stopped as she grabbed something which she recognized as a remembrall, and Ann smiled and flew back to the Courtyard full of students.

"Maybe..." Minerva thought to herself, and walked towards the courtyard.

Back with the Students

"Congratulations." Said Sigurd as he along with other students ran at Ann as she dismounted her broom.

"Now to give it back to Neville." Ann said.

"Ann Potter?" Came Professor McGonagall Voice as she walked towards them.

"She's in trouble." Draco said with a smirk on her face, seeing that Ann got in trouble which would hurt her reputation.

"Y-Yes Professor?" Asked a nervous Ann.

"Follow me." Minerva told Ann as she did as Minerva told her and followed Minerva and Draco's smirk was whipped from his face as Sigurd wiped the end of broom on his face.

Later

Ann was silent as she was scared at what punishment Minerva would give her, and suddenly stopped in front of the D.A.D.A class.

"Professor Quirrell, may I borrow Wood?" Asked Minerva.

This got Ann widen her eyes wondering if Professor was intending to be hear with a wooden stick.

"Y-Yes." Quirrell stuttered his reply, when suddenly a boy in the 4th year who was well built and burly, and had a commanding presence and had brown hair and eyes, got up on his feet and walked outside of the classroom.

"What can I do for you professor?" Asked Wood as he looked at Minerva.

"Wood, I want to present you the new team's seeker." Minerva said with a smile on her face, which got a blank look from Ann.

"Eh?" Was her question.
