Q: Will Subaru join the Emilia Camp?
A: It wouldn't be a fun fic if I told spoilers, wouldn't it? However, it's fair to say Roswaal won't be sitting and waiting to get Subaru on his side. Still, this Subaru will have a life before Emilia which means different motivations and desires. The person he fell in love with could change or not exist at all. The camp he will be the main member of can change. Still, Roswaal is here.
Q: Will Subaru have any weapons?
A: Of course he will. But please don't expect him to invent firearms and say "Parry this you casual". He does have the most type of offensive equipment he will ever have. (There are still some he will get in the future)(Fun stuff will require expert help.) Subaru struggles with a lighter while Roswaal can make automatons... (Roswaal K Mathers)
Q: Will Subaru being an inventor play a big role? I mean now that he's learning about mana circuits I think he will eventually start making metias and stuff and I'd love to see him use his inventions in his plans etc. even if it's the minor stuff.
A: Yes, he will. This will affect his life both positively and negatively. They are going to be far more than minor stuff. He is yet to create his magnum opus. Also, some random children appearing in the most known family on earth/country, and building random stuff has consequences.
Q: Carol and Grimm have two grandchildren: Flam and Grassis. Do you have any plans to add them?
A: Yes, I do. Both of them will come later though since they are minor characters.
Q: When is the anime going to start, what arc are we looking at? (I assume this question asks when we will arrive to Canon Arc 1)
A: AI-Arc 4. I think I will get there in either mid-July or the last week of July.
Q: If I am not mistaken, in canon Reinhard was tasked to reach the Sage in order to save the royal family but failed to reach the tower, any chance Subaru will join him in this quest to at least save Fourier?
A: Sadly, no. It wouldn't make sense for either of them to do this. Reinhard wants to keep him safe and Subaru has his own responsibilities.
Q: Can you tell me if you are going to make Subaru op by the end of the story?
A: No, I won't. I don't like him to be absurdly powerful for no reason at all. I even did take time to explain every single ability he got to show they didn't come out of thin air. Still, it would be illogical for him to be as weak as his canon counterpart. I don't like power levels type of stuff since the power itself isn't something homogeneous and easy to measure, but I take them into account. Let's say, he is no pushover and leave it at that. Not everyone can take him head-on, but special fighters could take him out fairly easily (Julius, Wilhelm, Garfiel, etc.). I think everyone will get a rough idea in future chapters. What makes Subaru truly dangerous is his mind and willpower. Even RBD is not useful if you don't have the willpower and intelligence to use it. Also, he is far from his prime fighting capacity right now.
Q: Can Subaru keep his "pandemonium" ability as long as the spirits can fight? Because it seems like it uses no mana and has no drawbacks if so they Al level will be something to fear especially since his affinity is not at its peak he can probably even use contracted spirits and I love it xd
A: Yes and no. Yes, he can keep it running 24/7 as long as he is awake, but it's not a good idea. The problem is actually his affinity is high. While using Pandemonium, Subaru marks allies and enemies rather than individually commanding spirits. While this sounds good, the bad side is that it won't end well if he accidentally marks someone as an enemy. This will come up later. Also, Pandemonium is more akin to a marking spell/spirit art rather than Julius's combined affinity attacks. Subaru needs to constantly remember who is an ally and who is an enemy which gets exponentially harder the more you make the list longer. Spirits can reject him as well depending on the level he cast and existing contracts. He can't override Julius's commands to his own spirits. Even at -Al level. (He can, however, play with Nes, Julius's Yin Spirit and her maidenly heart.) Also, he can't command great spirits and normal spirits won't go full in for him.
Q: I did have one question however, in the most recent chapter Subaru's spirit Kage evolves into a full spirit, but you don't actually describe what she looks like. Is she still a glowing ball but bigger or has she taken a more solid form like Puck or Beatrice?
A: When/If she becomes a great spirit, she will gain a solid form. One of my beta-readers kinda chose a form for her. People have no idea what they unleashed on God's green earth.
Q: Will you have Subaru get more than one Spirit aside from Kage? I don't mean every spirit but maybe A yang spirit somewhere down the line?
A: I won't fully answer since it would be spoilers, but considering how long you have waited it would be rude to say nothing. Let's just say he will, and he will have some sort of combined moves but not on Julius's level of combining 6 affinities. Also, he would probably blow up if he attempts to contract six spirits with different affinities. Affinities being different increases the strain. I'm not sure how close Subaru's affinity to Julius but his body and gate is definity not close. I will show some side effects for some stuff he will do later. (That part will not be canon since we have no idea what it actually does if you stay within your limits but force yourself to the very edge. I think you explode if you pass it, I guess?)
Q: I also have a question, namely whether there will be more chapters with the female Natsumi Schwartz?
A: Stay tuned for the next chapter, My Fair Regal Lady. Also, you will get more Natsumi than you wish for after AI-Arc 6 (Sanctuary).
Q: Reinhard trying to go to the Pleiades Watchtower along with his failure.

A: It will appear, and it will have consequences.
Q: How famous is Subaru going to be?
A: Emilia will know about Subaru well before they met. That's all I'm going to say. Also, some rather… nice individuals will also know about him.
Q: Will Subaru's wealth help him in the future? Can't he just hire a mercenary army when he needs it?
A: Most, if not all, problems he will face will either give him near to no time to hire a private army, and it's not like they exist just right around the corner. His wealth will come up several times but mostly as a joke rather than a solution. it will, however, be a solution for several minor/secondary stuff he is going to face.
Q: Will I ever add sexual violation/rape/non-consent stuff? (This question is added because some people keep messaging me to say I should get Subaru raped in different ways… Yes, I do get those kinds of messages…)
Short A: No
Medium A: No, I won't.
Long A: I would rather delete the fic than write about the rape of anyone. I won't be pulling punches against Subaru but this is the one subject I will avoid like a politician avoids integrity.
Q: Will I be kinder towards other characters? (The message said in a previous paragraph that it was clear I won't be kind towards Subaru.)
A: There will be no plot shields for anyone. If you are incompetent, do some dumb shit, or just be in the wrong place at the wrong time, you will be punished and suffer the consequences. A lot of stuff will come up for a lot of people because of their dumb decisions or just plain bad luck. (Emilia's lack of leadership skills, Puck only having the foresight of a blind man on drugs and having parenting skills of a crackhead, Crusch literary asking to end a covenant between the country's God, Roswaal being Roswaal and the entire shit show(s) I prepared for Subaru.) These are not dumb individuals, but I think they are simple examples to get my point across. I won't be pulling punches on anyone, not just Subaru.
A slight addition to A: Apart from the stuff I said in the previous question, the only plot shield they will have is that. No kind of sexual violation to anyone will ever happen in this fic. Still, all other methods of suffering are free game. I will make use of all the Psychology and Anatomy training I got in med school. I did give Subaru regeneration for a reason, after all. I can say that the death scenes are going to be more detailed and vivid since I got the training to pull it off.(This also includes others.)
Q: Is Subaru's personality going to be different from the cannon one? I hate him getting bullied and being a beta (I didn't fully understand what s/he meant with beta) in canon.
A: His personality is of course going to be different. His suffering will start early so he will be a different man before he meets Emilia. It's not a fun thing if I follow the canon story word by word. Different events lead to different personalities and motives. Officer's life will be both educating(!) and harsh on Subaru. Not having the stomach to kill (not a personality flaw, I will address those as well.) and being in the military does not go well.
Q: Will we see Subaru's teacher (Helmuth) and his spirits again? I need sassy regen.
A: Yes, we will. I'm actually still surprised that you guys/gals liked Helmuth and his spirits. I actually created him as a practice for creating another OC. We will hear about that OC in the next chapter's end. Also, we will get way more Regen and Strum.

A: Who knows what the future holds. Even if he falls in love with someone, it's going to be in a different manner than his cannon version. Don't expect him to be dilly dally.. His love is going to be more mature rather than juvenile.

A: It will allow him to be in a camp, but his responsibilities will follow the same rules as other knights. Most of his responsibilities will be on hold as long as he is serving a camp. Also, yes. He should be more serious. This issue will be resolved way before the Royal Selection starts.

A: Yes and no.

Yes, it will affect some trivial and somewhat important stuff. (I'm actually happy about being wrong on some stuff since it actually aids the plot way better.)
But I did get some stuff wrong about spirit affinities. Spirit affinities don't affect growth and just reduce the strain of contracts. Still, I will assume he is pretty fucking high considering the nect almost knocked him out in Arc 3 despite him being familiar to pain that will drive most people mad, but he can't go pokemon master either. He can probably contract a more diverse set of spirits since his body is stronger (more on that later, basically he can endure more strain on him) and he did actually learn about contracts and stuff. Kage evolving faster will be explained in another way, and it will help me develop some issues in a better way. (Looking at you, Haruo)(I'm so happy I'm wrong on that one because the original reason I gave felt too weak. Also, the strain might be used for suffering ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).) (I will however push the limits of cannon after AI-Arc 6 sanctuary but I doubt anyone would say anything after seeing why I did what I did. Kage's great spirit form's look will be... entertaining to write.)(Also, Great Spirit Kage would be way below Beako's level.)
Roswaal's relationship with Marcos will be re-written. (I believe I did a good job on Roswaal PoV but Marcos needs some work, and he is actually friendly towards Roswaal in Canon.)
Also, I will re-write the first chapters while keeping the integral plot intact. I think I got much better thanks to my beta-readers' help and experience.
There might be more cannon lore I accidentally broke. I'm not an expert in Re:zero lore so I might accidentally break the lore again on some contents. Don't take this story's loyalty to cannon rules as everything here is confirmed. I will add some fanon stuff but they will be mostly for the story rather than random stuff. I didn't break it so hard that it damages the story but I'm extremely nitpicking when it comes to my own work. I want it to make something I put the effort into as perfect as possible.
Finally, all chapters' text structure will be changed to suit the last version.
I just want to add something. There is a reason I picked 10 years old Isekai Subaru. Firstly, knight training in real-life starts at 10 years old. Secondly, our body's secondary and important characteristics start to develop around that age and continue for a long time. Subaru had his puberty and the growth spurts in Lugunica rather than Earth in canon. We have no knowledge of physiology in Re:Zero, so I decided to combine science with some stuff, I guess. There is not much difference between a child at Re:zero worlds and ours, but adults are much stronger. My assumption is mana in Re:zero worlds have effects on growth and development. That's also why muscle mass does not mean much in Re:zero since someone who benefited from this more could still overpower you. My assumption is basically you get somewhat of a buff to your physiology in Re:zero but effects differ from individual to individual. To put it more simply, Subaru is more from Lugunica/Re:zero worlds than earth. Does that mean he is super powerful? Compared to us? Yes. Compared to Knights? No. This stuff is mostly fanon, but I think it is canon friendly to some extent since there is nothing that disproves the stuff I said. Take this part with a grain of salt since it's literally using medical science in a fictional story. I repeat, this part is not confirmed canon. It just doesn't violate canon in my opinion.
