A/N: Hello, guys, gals, and non-binary pals! Happy Pride Month! Welcome to Chapter 7. Exciting revelations are ahead, and a few little easter eggs for later.
Answering some reviews, no I do not have an updating schedule, I just update whenever I have a chapter ready to go.
And to the person who asked if Loki was going to be in this, I originally planned not to, but I had an idea writing this chapter, so the answer is now a "you'll have to wait and see?"
I don't own anything. Enjoy!
ALSO, SORRY ABOUT BEFORE I FORGOT TO SPACE IT ON MY WORD DOCUMENT, I HAVE FIXED IT NOW!

Jason didn't like this. Currently, he was sitting at the war table at Camp Half-Blood (which was really just a ping-pong table) with the Greeks around him shouting and yelling, flinging food around. They were all yelling at each other senselessly about what they were going to do for Annabeth and Percy.
When Jason got hit in the face with a flying Cheez Doodle, that was the last straw.
"Enough!" he shouted, standing up forcefully. The others around the room shushed immediately. Glaring at them all, they stared back at him with various looks of shame. Clarisse la Rue had paused with her hand about to throw a pizza slice at Leo, and even Katie Gardner and Travis Stoll had stopped arguing with each other to listen to him.
Sometimes it pays to be a leader, Jason thought as he started talking, people listen to you.
"Look, Annabeth and Percy don't want us to go rescue them, but I think we should."
Clarisse scowled. "Prissy doesn't know what's good for him. We have to storm in there and take them back."
"What good will that do us?" Nico countered from his corner, "Even if we're successful, these 'Avengers' won't stop until they find us. It'll just bring more attention to our world."
There were mutters of agreement around the room. "We don't even know where they are, so that should probably be our first priority. Nyssa, any news on that?" Jason asked the burly daughter of Hephaestus.
She nodded her head. "As I was trying to say before," she said with a pointed look at everyone in the room, "you said they were kidnapped by the Avengers, right? Well, Tony Stark is part of them, so we managed to hack his system for a few minutes and found out that they're being held at Avengers Tower."
"That ugly building? Bleh, Annabeth would be going full architecture geek there." Piper said jokingly. She was met with silence as everyone remembered how Annabeth would always do that and how much they missed her.
"Well… at least they're in New York, right? I mean S.H.I.E.L.D could have taken them anywhere in the world, at least they're close." Leo broke the silence. Jason nodded.
"Yeah, you're right Leo. So, what should we do?" Jason asked the room.
"Recon?" asked Will Solace. Jason looked at the son of Apollo appraisingly.
"Good idea Will. Anything to add?"
Ideas flew through the room until a child of Apollo, who was there as Will's second-in-command, spoke up.
"What about we stake out the place? My girlfriend and her siblings in the Hecate cabin can shield us and we can take the Hermes kids in to try and find them, or we can follow the Avengers around to see if we can find anything?" they said. The girl next to them nodded in agreement. Jason figured she must have been their girlfriend.
"Yeah, Alex and I can do that. I can get my siblings to shroud them, and we can go in. The Hephaestus kids can find blueprints for the building, and we can try and contact the two with an IM."
Jason nodded and looked closer at the two. Barely older than fourteen, they both were already veterans of two wars and were about to potentially do something just as dangerous. He felt sad for them both. Nobody that young should have to deal with that, even if he was only three years older.
"Great. Let's go with that. We'll make preparations and leave in five days' time. Travis, stop flirting with Katie, and go and get your best criminal masterminds. Nyssa, see if you can find the blueprints undetected again, and Adora, get your siblings and take Alex with you. You leave tomorrow and will take shifts surveilling the tower. The Hermes kids will meet up with you later for the mission. Piper, Leo, and I will try to contact them with IM'ing, but it might be a bit risky."
The second last command was directed to the daughter of Hecate and child of Apollo couple at the end of the table. The two glanced at each other and nodded.
Jason looked at everyone around the room. They all suddenly looked tired and young, which broke Jason's heart in a way he'd never felt before. These kids never deserved to have to live through all this, and he cursed the gods silently to himself as he nodded.
"Good, we have a plan. Let's go." He said, and everyone started leaving. He watched them all go grimly when his girlfriend came up to him.
"What do we do after this?" Piper asked.
"Truthfully? I don't know." Jason admitted. "Everyone expects me to know what to do, but I don't. Annabeth was always way better at this than me. But she's not here now." His voice broke slightly at the end. Piper kissed him lightly on the cheek and smiled.
"You might not believe in yourself Jason, but you should. You may not be as good a planner as Annabeth, or as good a leader as Percy, but you are dam well the best person I have ever seen at doing what's right. And I know that you'll do the right thing here. Just trust your instincts." She smiled again and headed out of the room.
Jason felt a presence near his shoulder and sighed.
"Hey Nico." The younger boy came into view and looked at Jason pityingly.
"We'll get them back." He said, turning to leave. Jason didn't like that this kid was the one trying to comfort him, but he nodded without saying a word.
As soon as Nico left, Jason took out a drachma and his prism for making Iris messages. He made a rainbow and threw the coin in it.
"Oh Iris, goddess of the Rainbow. Show me Reyna at Camp Jupiter."
The rainbow shimmered until it showed an image of Reyna, sitting at her desk. She looked up and smiled wearily at Jason.
"Hey Weatherboy." She said tiredly. Jason looked at her, concerned.
"What's up Rey? You seem tired."
Reyna sighed. "Monsters have been whispering about something coming. Nothing as bad as Gaea," she said hurriedly as she noticed Jason's reaction, "but the main rumors have been about something called "The Winter Soldier", something about him coming to kill us."
"The Winter Soldier? Maybe Koios is coming back?"
"Let's just hope it's only that. There's no mention of anyone killing him in the Second Titan War, so it would make sense that he went into hiding."
"To be honest, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Anything else?" Jason asked.
Reyna looked a little bit nervous. "Well… there is one other thing. You know about the Norse demigods, right? And about Thor and Loki last year?" at Jason's nod, Rey continued, "There's also been whispers about this… Loki… coming to destroy us."
"For the love of Hades. Can this get any worse?" Jason asked, scraping a hand down his face in annoyance. Reyna laughed humorlessly.
"Let's hope not. I'll update you on the situation here if I get anything else. Anything on Annabeth and Percy?"
Jason explained the whole situation to her. When he was done, Reyna had a faraway look in her eyes.
"That's not good." She admitted, "The Mist is already slightly weakening from those Norse idiots, so if they find out their secrets our world is basically done for." She looked to someone behind the IM and nodded.
"Sorry Jason, but I have to go. See you soon."
"Ok, bye Reyna."
Just before he swiped the connection away, Reyna whispered, "And Jason, may the gods be with you."
Then she was gone, and Jason was left alone with the crushing weight of all the responsibility on his shoulders.
But one thing at a time. He would worry about this "Winter Soldier" and "Loki" at a later time. Preferably never.
And so, Jason left, not noticing the shimmering green of magic in the corner.
"Glorious." It spoke.
