Chapter 58: Waiting for the Tournament

Harry sighed in the room of requirement, after all it made sense, right now he was in a huge secret that must kept to a few, thankfully he did have the girls to talk to.

He sighed…'

And thankfully they started to show up.

HE wasn't sure what to say as they all came in.

"So…" said Mami making some tea.

"What happened?" asked Harry.

"Do you remember the class where he used the Imperius on us?" asked Erza.

"OF course…" said Harry.

His eyes widened in realization, during class he was somewhat suspicious.

"WE all had gotten a bad feeling and asked Dumbledore." Said Mami.

"We started to watch him and see if he was going anything suspicious." Said Robin.

"HE didn't have permission after all?" asked Harry.

"No he didn't." said Robin.

"He let us spy on him…" said Haruna.

"And you saw that he was imposter." Said Harry.

Robin nodded.

Harry remembered how she could also sprout eyes everywhere.

"So the real Moody…" said Harry.

"He's still alive, he needs to be alive to be impersonated…" said Robin.

"Should we just keep him there?" asked Harry.

"We don't have much of a choice…" sighed Mami.

"Once we know what he's doing they'll free him…" said Erza.

"The teachers are also handling the situation, once he makes his move he'll be free." Said Robin.

Harry nodded.

"Don't worry… I'm sure everything will turn out." Said Momo.

"Yeah…" sighed Harry.

"We just have to wait until he makes his move." Said Shampoo.

Harry sighed.

They had to focus on school and a few other things…

There was nothing else really… well until the Triwizard Tournament.

Any defense class didn't help with what was going on for sure. Any time any of them went to that class it they couldn't help but the think that they were being taught by an imposter. An imposter who clearly knew what he was doing.

But he was still an imposter .

Of course Ron and Hermione noticed the tension during classes.

"Hey what's going with defense Class?" asked Ron one day.

"what do you mean?" asked Mami trying to play innocent.

"You three have been tense during every single defense class." Said Hermione.

The three of them winced.

"We can't tell you." Erza said quietly.

"Why not?" asked Ron.

"It's classified." Said Mami.

"They stumbled on something big and I told about it due to well…" said Harry.

They knew he meant it was because he partially owned the school.

"Whatever is going on we can't tell you…" said Erza.

Ron and Hermione looked at each other.

"Does the ministry know?" asked Hermione.

The three nodded.

Ron and Hermione looked at each other.

"When it's reveled what's really going on we'll tell you." Said Mami.

"But for now… we have to keep quiet…" sighed Erza.

Ron and Hermione nodded.

Also Shampoo had something to focus on thankfully thanks to the Outcasts and their current problem…

Namely Malfoy's attempts at joining and hanging out with them.

He sat down next to them which earned him some glares.

"Seriously Malfoy?" asked Sylvia .

"I have nowhere else to sit." Muttered Malfoy.

"You should have thought about that when…" said Adrian.

"I know! I know!" yelled Malfoy.

"What have you done to try to change?" asked Titus.

"Nothing…" muttered Malfoy.

"SO how do you expect you to change if you done nothing?" asked Titus.

"Then why should we hang out with us?" asked Shampoo.

"Because how am I supposed to help if I don't have help!" yelled Malfoy.

"He's right." Said Tori.

They all looked at Tori unsure what to say.

"Many of us grew up in with those families, about how we're better than everyone else because our blood is pure." Said Tori.

"The so called Scared 28…" muttered Titus.

Malfoy scowled .

"Many of them are dead…" pointed out Tori, "OR in jail… but our families still push it…"

Malfoy was about to say something but that was when another reason hit him… his aunt's family, the Lestrange family. They could have not followed him or claimed that they were just under the Imperius curse. However they didn't… now his aunt and his husband and brother in law were prison for the rest of their lives and the Lestrange name was going to go expect.

"How are we better than everyone else if we keep doing things like that?" asked Tori.

"I don't know…" said Malfoy.

"You have no idea how to go about being a good person… do you" asked Shampoo.

"No…" sighed Malfoy.

"But you see what's wrong with everything…" said Tori.

"I do…" muttered Malfoy, "I mean I was called out and mocked during defense class…"

Shampoo winced a little.

After all she still wasn't sure what the fake Moody's goals were… but whatever they were weren't good and she had the feeling that he was rubbing salt in the wound.

Either way right now it didn't look good for Malfoy.

They all looked at each other.

"Okay…" said Titus, "We have somethings we need to think about… and we'll give you the answer soon."

"Are you kidding me"! yelled Malfoy.

"Look do we have to explain things some more?" asked Adrian.

"We don't want to hang out with you…" said Sylvia.

"But if we leave you alone there's a chance something might eventually bad will happen you." Said Titus.

Malfoy didn't respond to that.

"Look we have our reasons at the moment so we're going to think about it. "said Titus.

The entire group left leaving Malfoy steaming.

As they were walking away this was brought up…

"So we're not going to help him" asked Tori.

"No we are… we're just going to wait a couple days and make him think we won't." said Sylvia.

"Really?" asked Tori.

"Really." Said Sylvia.

"Come on… he was the king of his year in Slytherin for three years… he needs to go through this." Said Adrian. With a shrug.

"I guess so…" said tori.

"You're too nice Tori." Said Shampoo.

Tori just shrugged .

The next day they talked with Malfoy.

"Now before we give you our answer I must know… are you attracted to Harry?" asked Sylvia.

Malfoy glared at Sylvia.

The others in the group all looked at her unsure how to respond to what she just said…

"I don't like Potter that way! Stop accusing me that!" yelled Malfoy.

"I'm just messing with you Malfoy." Said Sylvia.

"We're going to let you hang out with us." Said Titus.

"Just remember if you start to backslide into your old self, we kicking you out and we're not going to look back." Said Adrian.

Malfoy grumbled at this but knew that they had a point.

"Why would I become my old self when I've already lost everything?" asked Malfoy.

None of them answered and just shrugged realizing he had a point.

The reason why he had to change was because his father disowned him rather publicly and he didn't really have room to do anything…

However Shampoo did have to talk to people about it.

"So you're going to hang out with Malfoy?" asked Haruna.

"Yes…" sighed Shampoo.

"Really?" asked Haruna.

"He's lost everything…" said Robin, "Who knows now that he now has everything he'll be able to open up and join a rag tag group of misfits."

There was an awkward silence.

"Did you just compare yourself to Malfoy?" asked Haruna.

"I did…" sighed Robin.

"Don't do that again…" said Mami.

Robin just shrugged at that.

She also had to talk to Harry, Ron and Hermione.

"So really… you and your Slytherin friends are hanging out with Malfoy now?" asked Ron.

"He's hopefully going to become a better person." Said Shampoo.

"Are you sure about that?" asked Ron.

"If he doesn't we are going to stop hanging out with him." Said Shampoo.

"Okay… that's fine then." Said Ron with a shrug.

"Are you sure?" asked Hermione.

Shampoo just shrugged.

Harry just sighed realizing that the choice was made and there was a bit of a chance that he would lose his only shot at having friends .

Other than the stuff involving Malfoy, things were really just fell in a rut.

Waiting for the fake moody to make a move, school, trying to figure out his plans, school and so on and so forth.

But still each day they got closer to the Triwizard Tournament which they knew would provide for a Distraction from everything.

"Seriously what's going on with Moody?" asked Ron.

"We really can't tell you." Said Harry.

"Come on! Expect for that thing with Malfoy you've all been miserable." Said Ron.

It's just the stress of what's been going on." Said Erza.

"Yeah and don't mind it… hopefully it clear up soon." Said Mami.

"Just stop asking them Ron." Scolded Hermione.

"It's fine Hermione." Sighed Harry.

He just wished he could tell then the truth, but still couldn't.

"I'd like to remind you that what's going on is classified and that Amelia Bones is working." Said Erza.

This did indeed shut Ron up.

It should now be pointed out they were having his conversation on the way to meet with the two other schools.

And so they waited for the other schools to arrive.

With many speculating on how the schools would arrive.

As they waited everyone saw in the distance something slowly coming closer.

It was an extremely large carriage that was flying that was being pulled by massive flying horses.

It soon landed and they saw the students and the Headmistress leave the carriage.

They all looked at the Headmistress and saw that she was just as big as Hagrid.

"That's so weird." Said Haruna.

"I don't think so…" said Luna who was nearby.

"IT's better if we don't know what's going on…" said Robin.

They all watched at Dumbledore greeted the Headmistress.

However soon they also watched as the Black Lake started to churn.

Suddenly a massive ship came out from under the water.

Soon the students disembarked and Dumbledore greeted the headmaster.

However something that most students noticed was there.

"Is that Viktor Krum!" said Ron.

"I think so." Said Mami.

And soon other students were clamoring about how the world famous Seeker was among them.

After all it would be amazing to see him in the Triwizard Tournament, granted that there was no guarantee that he would the one chosen to the champion of Durmstrang but there was a good change that he would be.

And soon enough all of the students all headed to the great hall for the feast welcoming the other schools. Including dishes from both schools.

The other school were allowed to choose which table they would sit at.

For Beauxbatons they chose Ravenclaw and for Durmstrang they chose Slytherin.

"I can't believe their sitting with the snakes." Muttered Ron.

"I don't know… it seems like Krum chose good company." Said Mami.

Ron noticed that Krum was sitting with the Outcasts.

"Huh…" said Ron.

As it turned out Krum was told to avoid them from a snide 7th year so naturally he went to sit with them.

"So expect for Malfoy, the rest of us don't fit the mold of a traditional Slytherin." Said Titus.

"Why is that?" asked Krum.

"If you're asking about him it's because his father disowned him." Said Sylvia, "The rest of us a just weird in our ways."

Krum nodded.

"So I guess you don't like your school's thing about Muggle Borns." Said Adrian.

Krum scowled, it was clear that he didn't agree with the policy of not letting Muggle borns in.

At the same time, a blonde girl form Beauxbatons approach the Gryffindor Table.

"Excuse me… maybe I have the bouillabaisse?" asked the girl.

However Ron began to droll at her and couldn't help it.

"Sure you can have it." Said Mami.

The girl took it and ignored Ron, rolling her eyes.

"Really Ron?" asked Hermione.

"What?" asked Ron confused by what just happened.

And soon enough Dumbledore stood up to give certain announcements.

And little did they know was would in less than 24 hours they would learn the fake Moody's Plan…
