Chapter 3

TIME HOP-8 years later

Captain Cragen turned in quite a few favors for Olivia to join the SVU unit, but she did the hard work on her own after that. She became one of the youngest detectives and was now the youngest Sergeant. "Congratulations Liv!" Fin laughed, "I'm sorry Sergeant Olivia Benson Langan!" She hugged her partner that had her back over the last year.

Olivia's older, more experienced partner Elliot Stabler, left a year ago. SVU took a toll on his family and he moved on to be a private investigator. Lieutenant Munch and Captain Cragen congratulated her on her promotion. "Great job kid!" Olivia knew how they both played a part in Serena's life. When Olivia first got there she dug into Serena's rape and asked them questions. Cragen had to do the hardest thing, "Let it go Olivia or I will transfer you. I can't let this interfere with your job now." They were her family.

"Well, maybe I was wrong." Olivia turned around, "Elizabeth!" She smiled, "Congratulations! I'm sorry I doubted you." She hugged her. Elizabeth was against her becoming a cop. Her and Don had a long discussion, but she never turned away from her. She stepped in and became a mother figure to her.

Olivia walked into the condo after her celebration at work. "Welcome home Sergeant!" She saw her sexy husband standing in his boxer briefs and a tie. She walked over and grabbed the tie and kissed him hard. She twisted the tie, "What happened? Did I get home before you had time to take this off?"

Trevor smiled, "I thought I looked sexier this way." Olivia knew the deal. It was part of the reason she worked so hard and so fast. Trevor wanted kids and Olivia did too, but she wanted her career off the ground. "You're a little too dressed." Olivia looked down, "Well you're definitely ready to make a baby. Let's see if I can do my part."

They kissed each other all the way to the bathroom. Trevor unbuttoned her shirt and unhooked her bra. "I love the ones with the front hooks. I get to these a lot faster." He kissed her neck and gave each nipple attention until they were at full attention. They both took off the rest of their clothes and got into the warm shower.

Olivia grabbed her body wash and rubbed it all over his chest, "I'm going to smell like a girl." She moved her hand down stroking his length. "It doesn't care." She kept pulling and pulling until he picked her up and spun them under the shower. He sat on the bench and slid her all the way down on his length. "Fuck! Trevor!" Trevor winked, "Oh we're getting to that."

He smiled and Olivia thought he was smug. She grabbed the top of his shoulders and took complete control. "I'm the Sergeant and this is my day." She moved up and down. Trevor tried to grip her waist but she stopped him by taking his hands in hers. "Damn Liv! She was going so hard and fast, her boobs were bouncing up and down. He was frustrated he couldn't grab them since she held his hands.

When she was close and she knew he was about to blow. She wrapped her arms around his neck and let him finally grab her waist. They came together screaming each other's names. Olivia hopped off, "Jesus Liv! What the hell was that?" She scrubbed her body and when he stood up to shower, Olivia smacked his ass. "Hurry, round 2 in the bedroom." She grabbed her towel and giggled at the same time. Trevor looked down and got hard all over again. "Shit!"

About a month later Olivia was pregnant. "Well that happened fast. I'll make sure to go right back on my birth control." Trevor smiled, "It's probably my fast swimmers." Olivia wondered, "I'm 29 Trevor, how many years do we want between these kids?" Trevor shrugged, "I feel bad Liv. You love your job and you have to do the hard part." Olivia kissed him, "We both want the kids. I'm not worried about my job, I'm thinking about my clock."

Olivia told Cragen immediately. She didn't want him caught off guard. "Let's not tell Fin yet. He can't keep anything to himself and I have to tell Alex first." He promised, "Anyone else I would be worried about, but you will be back in no time. Now get there and get me my case."

Fin and Olivia were in the box. They were looking to close a big case. They didn't have DNA and the victim couldn't make an ID. They needed a confession, it was the only way. Cragen stood beside Munch and Alex listening. "Liv is good, I think she has him."

Detective Jeffries poked her head in, "Captain, your wife is here with Pippa Cox." Cragen looked at the two way mirror and Munch assured him, "I've got it!" He went to his office where they were waiting. He found his wife crying, "What's the matter?" He looked at Ms. Cox and shut the door. Elizabeth looked at him, "Serena is dead."

When Serena moved to Atlanta she started teaching at a small college. It was there that she met another professor Jim Rollins. He was married to Beth Anne Rollins, but the marriage was a mess. Beth even thought Serena was her best friend. He slept around and she slept around, but she didn't know Serena was one of them.

They were all heavy drinkers and dabbled in drugs. Serena went clean for a bit and the reason was found out 9 months later. Serena had gotten pregnant again, 21 years after Olivia. She wasn't raped this time, but it was still unexpected. She gave birth to Amanda Grace Rollins. Pippa had received a call from Atlanta child protective services. They investigated and found Olivia. "She's 8 and has no one."

Jim Rollins came clean to his wife and took full custody of Amanda when Serena told him she couldn't take her. Things were ok. Jim drank heavily and still did drugs, but he always took care of her. "He died 4 years ago after he drank too much and fell down his basement stairs. They could never prove it, but they think Beth pushed him. With Jim out of the picture, Beth returned Amanda to her mother, who she had never met. The exchange was a nightmare."

Pippa explained that Serena wasn't in the position to take care of Amanda. Her effort was poor. Amanda was only 4 and lived in hell. Serena was drunk until the day she died. She picked up Amanda from school drunk, wrecked her car and died on impact. Amanda was ok, had a few scraps and stitches just around her hairline. Ms. Cox looked at the two in complete shock. "They want to know if Olivia will take her. She's her only living relative."

Cragen went back to the box. He watched Olivia and Fin get the confession. He gave them time to celebrate the win. "Fin, can you take care of the paperwork? Liv, I need you in my office." Fin being the joker, "Sure Cap, she makes Sergeant and I get the paperwork." Liv laughed, not picking on the tone, but when Cragen didn't laugh, he knew something was off. He sat at his desk, but watched the Captain's office. When he saw Alex and Trevor marching in the precinct, he knew something was wrong. Fin winked at Alex and she smiled back. They hadn't told anyone they were seeing each other.

When Olivia walked in the office she knew something was wrong. "What's going on? Is it Trevor or Alex?" Everyone else she cared about was there with her. Cragen simply said, "They're fine. Here they are now." He asked Elizabeth to call them. "What the hell is going on?" Trevor and Alex joined the discussion. Ms. Cox explained everything that she told the Captain. Olivia sat in shock, "I don't believe it! She not only did it once but twice, but this time without our parents she really fucked up."

They watched her get it off her chest. "How could she do this? I was 21 years old and more of a grown up then she ever was." Even Trevor was upset, "We could've taken her you know." Ms. Cox looked at them, "We want to know if that's possible now." Olivia felt her stomach, "I need a moment with Trevor."

Trevor looked at her, "What's wrong?" She looked at him, "You act like this isn't a big deal. I'm pregnant and out of the blue a social worker wants us to take on my 8 year old sister that I never knew existed and you are ok with it." Olivia wanted to take her. She never doubted it, but she had a husband and needed to hear his voice.

Trevor shook his head, "Absolutely!" Olivia kissed him, "What did I do to deserve you?" He smiled, "I love you and I know you don't love Serena, but I know the second you heard about Amanda, you loved her." Tears fell down her face, "She's almost my age when I found out who Serena really was and I was never the same. You heard them, this isn't going to be easy." He kissed her, "Since when do you take on easy cases."
