Chapter 13
Olivia called Dr. Shields immediately and she explained the situation. "Olivia, I will see her and I appreciate the heads up. You do realize, once I take her, I can't discuss any information without her present. She can choose to not give you any information." Olivia understood, "I know and it's totally up to her. I will stand by her however she needs me."
She squeezed them in. Lucy was quiet on the way. They did a routine check up before she was placed in the examination room. Lucy looked at the posters. She jumped when she heard the door. "Hi! I'm Dr. Shields, you're Lucy right?" Lucy shook her head yes. "Lucy, I know Olivia is your sister, but I need to know if it's ok if she stays and I need you to say it." Lucy smiled, "I want her with me." Dr. Shields rubbed her arm, "Ok! If that changes at any time, you tell me."
Lucy changed and laid back on the table. Olivia wanted to be honest, "Luce, I told Dr. Shields what happened to you. She needs to do an ultrasound inside you. Ok? I'm right here." Dr. Shields was as gentle as possible. "It looks like your 6 weeks. You're right behind your sister, should be a late July date. Get dressed and come to my office."
Olivia and Lucy sat there in the office. Dr. Shields handled Lucy differently. "Lucy, by law I have to go over all of your options." Lucy heard having the baby and keeping it, adoption was an option, or abortion. "You have time to think, but if you choose abortion…" Lucy finished, "The sooner the better."
On the way home, Olivia asked, "Do you want me to cancel the family dinner?" Lucy shook her head no. While making dinner she told Trevor everything. "I'm worried about her. She barely talked at the appointment or on the way home." Trevor finished up dinner while she checked on her. She found her and Amanda making bracelets with her jewelry kit. "Hey, can you take a bath before family dinner?" Amanda agreed, "Keep going Luce!"
Lucy grabbed Olivia's wrist and put the bracelet she made. It had the letter I, had a heart, and then the letter u. "I love you too." She looked at her, "After family dinner and the game, can we tell them? I trust y'all and I need help making a decision." Olivia agreed, "But, before you get everyone else's opinion, what's your own?"
Lucy thought, "Adoption, but I want to at least know he or she is ok. I want to know them." After dinner and UNO, it was time to talk. "Guys don't leave yet, we need a family meeting. Trevor, get this girl." Fin laughed, "She wants to play, but can't stay awake." Everyone knew what happened to Lucy, so at least, she didn't have to go over that story.
"I'm pregnant." They did what Lucy thought they would, they hugged her and said they would support her. She explained she didn't mind having the baby, but she couldn't keep it. "Liv and Trevor take care of me. They're having their own so I can't ask them. I want to know the baby is ok and has a good family. If you guys know anyone or have an idea, I'm open."
They all talked and shared ideas. Lucy had a breakthrough. "I need this to heal. I can't have an abortion or not know where he or she is. It will only add to my nightmares." Elizabeth held Don's hand, "Lucy, would you let us adopt your baby?" Elizabeth explained she was never able to get pregnant, but they wanted kids. "I know we're old, but…" Lucy hugged her, "Thank you."
After that things were good. Olivia took Lucy's butt right back to therapy and she was back in her own bed. Things were better and after a crazy month they all deserved some calm. Lucy was watching Amanda for two weeks, because she was on winter break. She even made big time money watching Kat and Dominick.
On Christmas Eve they had a family dinner and exchanged gifts. When everyone left, Olivia pulled out a bag. "Ok! Don't call me corny." She pulled out 4 sets of pajamas. The pants were navy blue and covered in a tangle of Christmas lights and the shirts were navy blue but in bright yellow it said "Get Lit."
Trevor thought his wife was the best, she planned everything to make it perfect, "Baby, this isn't corny, it's cute." Lucy looked at the sizes and passed them out, "This is cool!" Olivia smiled, "Everyone shower, change, and meet back here at the tree. Tonight we all open one gift from under the tree, then tomorrow we open the rest."
Everyone headed to their bedroom. Trevor looked sad, "Wow, I know I'm getting bigger, but I expect a smile because you get to shower with me." Trevor kissed her, "Sorry." He rubbed her belly. "I didn't know the plan. I picked up stuff for you and Lucy, but not for tonight. We haven't even put that stuff out." Olivia smiled, "I apologize for not going over the plan, next year, we'll do it together. Don't be upset, you saw all those wrapped gifts under the tree." Trevor laughed, "I thought they were decorative."
They changed and Trevor kissed her, "I need to grab something for you from the stash." She kissed him, "No, you don't. I picked up my own stuff and put it on your card." Amanda was sitting in front of the tree, "We pick any one thing we want?" Olivia brushed her blonde hair, "Yep!" They all grabbed a box. Amanda grabbed a medium size, Lucy grabbed a large size, Trevor grabbed a medium size, and Olivia grabbed a small box.
They ripped everything open. Amanda yelled, "Lucy, will you set this up tonight?" She had a projector with lights, it turned the room into the nighttime sky. "Amanda, let Lucy open her stuff." Lucy smiled, "Oh my gosh! How did y'all know?" Olivia sighed, "Well you never gave me your list, so someone that watches your every move helped." Amanda was told to pay attention to anything Lucy wanted when they went out. She had a brand new north face jacket and hat. The box also had some shirts and tons of random gift cards to clothing stores. "Enjoy shopping!" Lucy hugged everyone, "Amanda, I'll help you after they open their gifts.
Trevor had a hardwood docking station. "This is cool!" He smiled, "What did I get you baby?" Olivia held up a box of her favorite Bond No. 9 perfume. "Mommy come see my room!" They all fell back on Amanda's bed and looked up. "Wow this is amazing!" The music was soothing and Amanda fell asleep quickly. "Lucy, we'll see you in the morning." She snuggled up next to Amanda, "Luce?" Lucy smiled, "No nightmares! I promised her I would sleep with her for Christmas."
They said goodnight and did what parents do, they set out gifts. Some were wrapped, but the big stuff was unwrapped, so they could see it right away. They moved things around so there was a section for Amanda and a section for Lucy. Amanda's section had wrapped gifts that included her entire list, plus a few extras. She had a color your own water bottle, a huge Jenga set, a jewelry box with a necklace that had an A, a blue safe, and a huge princess tent that would fit perfectly in the corner of her room.
Trevor put out the bike, scooter, and hoverboard already put together and ready to ride. "Nice you grabbed a scooter too." Olivia looked, "Yeah, put the helmet and pads right in front. I'm glad she can't touch them until spring.
Lucy's section of wrapped gifts had a custom made pillow and blanket with pictures they had since she had been with them, a hoodie that said "Adult(ish)", an Apple Gift Card, a new iPhone, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and AirPods. Her unwrapped gifts were a MacBook Pro and TV with a wall mount. "Baby, you didn't wrap the adoption papers did you?" Trevor handed her the papers which they both signed. Olivia had a Tiffany & Co. box, "Wow! Ummm did that go on my card?" Olivia winked, "No, just a little something special from me to her." She showed him the heart locket that opened to a picture of Olivia kissing Lucy cheek. The other side of the heart was engraved and said, "A sister's love is forever."
They peeked in Amanda's room and they were both out cold. When they got to their room Olivia shut and locked the door. Then she kissed Trevor hard and backed him up until he hit the bed, then she pushed him. "What are you doing?" Olivia smiled, "I'm giving your birthday gift now, because I know tomorrow I'll be wiped."
She pulled his shirt off and kissed him all over his chest and then pulled off his Christmas light pants. She grabbed the base of his length and started licking and sucking. "Liv! Shit!" His hands immediately went to her brown hair, but he never pushed. He threw his head back, "Oh my gosh!" He saw her lips wrapped around him. He knew he was close and pulled her up. "What do you want?" He reached into her panties, "To be inside you."
He put her hands on the bed and she giggled. "Are you laughing at me?" This was the only way he would have sex now that her belly was showing. He was terrified to lay on her. She thought it was sweet. Olivia bit her lip, "No, babe." When he pushed into her laughing stopped, "Trevor!" He leaned over, "Baby, you cannot scream. Are you ok?" She gripped the sheets, "Trevor move, please."
They needed another shower after that, where he gave Olivia an extra Christmas gift. "Happy Christmas Trevor! I love you!" He smiled, he always hated sharing Christmas and his birthday because he got cheated. When they started dating and she saw how his family handled his birthday and Christmas she started saying Happy Christmas. She also made sure he celebrated both.
