Chapter 15
Olivia was packing and Trevor asked, "Dr. Shields agreed?" Olivia smiled, "Yes babe! Things have been great. I'm so glad everything has settled down." It took a month, but things were finally normal again. Olivia was working from home 3 days a week and her health was great.
Lucy was doing well with school and work. They even told Amanda about her baby and had a long talk about how Elizabeth and Don were going to adopt it and take care of it. "Mommy, how come I can't come?" Trevor laughed at that. "Because it's adults only and you're 8." Lucy plopped on the bed, "Well I'm an adult, how come I can't come." Amanda stood up on the bed, "If she goes, I go!"
Olivia was being tag teamed, "Babe, do you want help out." Trevor smiled, "Amanda get down and watch your tone." Amanda sat, "Yes sir." He then looked at Lucy, "You're not old enough to do anything in Vegas, so no. You get to stay with your sister, Elizabeth, and Don. Are we clear?" Lucy got up and rolled her eyes, "Whatever!" Amanda followed by copying her. Trevor shook his head, "Normal."
Lucy was normal. She had become a normal moody teenager with pregnancy hormones. Olivia went to her room, "You know she watches everything you do." Lucy looked at her, "Sorry mom." Olivia smiled, "I'll bring you something back." Lucy just stopped calling them Liv and Trevor. The first time Olivia heard mom she stopped, but she went with it.
Elizabeth and Don came to pick up Lucy and Amanda. Fin and Alex were getting married in Vegas and they were flying out for the weekend. Lucy hugged Elizabeth tight, they were close and Elizabeth went to every appointment with them. Trevor got down on one knee, "Amanda, behave." Amanda shook her head, "Yes sir." Olivia smiled, she thought she was the tough one. She was the big bad cop, but Trevor became the enforcer. "Bye mommy. Bring me something back." Lucy hugged them, "Bye mom, bye dad."
Olivia held Trevor's hand and looked at Alex and Fin, "Guys we are right here and customarily you make the baby after the wedding." Fin grabbed Trevor, "Come on man, let's have a drink." Alex sat beside her best friend, "Do you like the plane?" Olivia smiled, "Yeah, your parents went all out." Alex shook her head, "But they wouldn't come. Still buying my love. My kid's life will be very different." Olivia looked up, "Alex?" Alex laughed, "I'm not pregnant, but when I am and I have my family, it won't be like my childhood." Olivia held her hand, "Hey, it's supposed to be a happy weekend."
As soon as they landed the girls went shopping. "I have to get the girls something, they were pissed about staying home. After shopping for themselves, they went to M 's World. Alex looked at the basket, "Did you get enough?" Olivia looked and saw blue M everything, blue shirt, hoodie, towel, cup, and mug. "Well, I have a mixed bag of peanut ones. Oh and isn't this leather jacket cute?"
After getting stuff for Amanda, they went to Gucci for Lucy. Olivia grabbed a T-shirt, sunglasses, and perfume. Alex laughed, "Now I see why Trevor is the enforcer. He's going to flip." They met for dinner, "How much did you spend?" Alex giggled, "Excuse me, I work too you know." Trevor rolled his eyes, "That's where the girls get that from."
Trevor smiled, "Guys, I'm so glad, this is a boy. At least I'm not that outnumbered." They found out at Olivia's latest appointment. They took the whole family and Trevor had been over the moon. "Goodnight lovebirds, we'll see tomorrow morning for your big day. Trevor was kissing Olivia like crazy. "Ok, so you drank for both of us." Trevor kissed her, "I want you."
She was surprised that he laid her on her back. He refused this position ever since they found out she was pregnant. But when his head disappeared between her legs, she was gone. "Trevor! Shit! When did you learn to do that?" He spooned her and held her, "Babe, that was amazing, but what about you?" Olivia gasped, "Now it's my turn." He was so sweet and gentle. "Liv, I love you."
The next day she watched her two best friends say I do. It was a beautiful sight. She loved both of them and they were her family. On the flight back the guys laughed together. Olivia smirked at Alex, "Can you walk?" Alex hit her, "Shut up! What about you?" Olivia just looked at her, "Ok Liv, I'm sore as hell!" She fell on her shoulder laughing.
Elizabeth and Don brought the girls home around dinner to give them a chance to nap. They both ran to hug them. "I forgot to get you something. We got busy." Lucy smiled, "No you didn't, we got y'all." Amanda gave two thumbs up. "Go unpack your stuff and throw all your dirty clothes in the wash. "Aunt Elizabeth washed our stuff mommy." Trevor kissed her cheek, "I see why you buy them things, they're great." They both went to their rooms and screamed, "Yes! Thank you!"
The months rolled on, summer came, Lucy finished her semester with straight A's, and Amanda finished the school year with straight A's. Trevor came out and saw Lucy and Amanda eating breakfast. "Amanda, do you want to go to the pool?" Amanda shook her head no. "Luce?" Lucy frowned, "No thanks dad. I fit in better at the beach, I'm a whale."
Olivia heard them talking. "Amanda, what's wrong?" Amanda frowned, "What if mommy can't come to my birthday?" They we're all set to go to this resort, with an indoor water Park, pool, go karts, and the works. Dominick and Kat were going with them. "Amanda we aren't until the 4th, remember you and Luce decided to celebrate your first one together. Mommy and the baby will be there." Olivia felt pain and looked down at a puddle. "Yes, we will both be there, because he's coming now. "Ahhhhh! Maybe right now."
They rushed her to the hospital and met Dr. Shields, "Ok Olivia, let's see where we are." Dr. Shields checked her out and looked at her. Olivia smiled, "How long have you been in labor?" Trevor looked at her, "My water didn't break so I didn't want to wake you. I thought it was normal." Dr. Shields hit the call button, "Yeah really normal to deliver in a house or car." She had the nurse hook her up, "Well are ready for a complete natural birth, no epidural this time."
Olivia was close, the baby was fine but ready to come out. Olivia delivered a healthy baby boy. Once she was settled in her room, Trevor brought Lucy and Amanda in, "Go meet your baby brother." Amanda was loving being a big sister. "Park it right here, slide back, and arms out." Trevor put Noah down in her arms and he moved her hands around his head and body. "Not too tight." Amanda smiled, "Hi, Noah Trevor Langan. Daddy, when can I be a Langan?" He kissed her head, "Soon baby."
Her adoption papers were ready and so was the name change. She was all over it when Lucy changed her last name. "Mom, did it hurt?" Olivia looked, "Yes baby, but I'll be there." Dr. Shields popped in, "Yeah Lucy, but yours won't hurt as much, because you are going to follow my rules and come in as soon as labor pains start." Amanda laughed, "Mommy's in trouble!"
Olivia was released the next day. They had a small birthday party for Amanda with cake and ice cream and most importantly her adoption. They redecorated her room and she was allowed to pick out everything. The next week they headed to the resort, Amanda knew Olivia was coming but it was a relaxing trip. Trevor was on daddy duty, while Lucy and Olivia spent time together. "Mommy, you missed the fireworks." Noah was wearing his headphones. "Mommy, those hurt him." Olivia laughed, "No the fireworks would, he's fine and asleep."
Amanda helped with the cake. "Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to Lucy. Happy birthday to you!" They put the cake down with 19 candles. "Make your wish Luce!" Lucy smiled, because she had everything she wanted. She closed her eyes, blew out the candles, and wished her baby had everything great in the world.
They headed back to the city and a month later Lucy gave birth to a healthy baby boy. He favored Noah, but they were cousins. He had lighter brown hair and blue eyes. Elizabeth and Don wanted a surprise. Lucy saw Elizabeth and Don holding him and smiled. Olivia knew that it had to be hard. "How are you holding up?" Lucy was happy and sad, "Mom, I did the right thing, but it hurts a little." Olivia kissed her and held her.
Olivia helped Lucy through her postpartum pregnancy. She hadn't seen the baby, Elizabeth, or Don since he was born. "Liv, is she avoiding us?" Olivia shook her head, "I don't think so, she's been in therapy and registering for full time classes today. I think she's giving you guys space." Elizabeth smiled, "I kept thinking she would change her mind. I was almost scared to love him."
They heard the door, "Hey, Luce! Look who's here." Lucy smiled, "Hey!" Elizabeth hugged her, "I'm so glad to see that smile. We haven't seen you." She looked at the baby. "Here, hold him." Lucy held him, "He's beautiful!" Elizabeth smiled, "He looks just like you. I mean his mother's beautiful." Olivia smiled at the exchange while holding Noah. "Luce, they look alike, because we look alike."
Elizabeth touched Lucy's shoulder, "We named him Lucas Donald Cragen. We call him Luke. We thought Lucas was close to Lucy. We don't want you to disappear. We don't plan on lying to him. You are his birth mother and our family." Lucy kissed his forehead, "Thank you! I won't disappear. I just, he's yours and I'm happy." Amanda came in with her camera, "Let me take your picture. Say babies!"
They were all over for family dinner night. They all heard the door and looked around since everyone was there. "Mom, I invited someone over." Lucy opened the door and hugged a tall guy with dark hair. "Come on in." Lucy looked at everyone, "This Michael Dodds we met at school last semester." He joined them for dinner and fit in just fine.
Amanda took pictures all night. Mike looked at her, "You know the cameraman never gets in a picture." Amanda scrunched her eyebrows together, "Well, I'm a camerawoman." Mike offered to take her picture. "Wait!" She climbed in between Olivia and Lucy. "Go!" Mike smiled, "Say sisters!" Amanda looked up, "I forget that we are sisters." Olivia kissed Amanda's cheek then Lucy's cheek, "Mommy, sisters, daughters, it doesn't matter, because we're family." She stood up and turned back, "And a family's love is forever. I love you!"

Epilogue
Trevor and Olivia: Trevor became a judge and Olivia is now the Captain of SVU. They put Lucy through college and she married Mike Dodds. She is a first grade teacher and he is a Sergeant for the NYPD. They have a 5 year old son named Michael and a 3 year old daughter named Olivia. Amanda is a sophomore in college and following in Trevor's footsteps along with her boyfriend Dominick and best friend Kat. Noah is a ball of energy along with his best friends Lucas and Alexander. They play every sport possible.
Elizabeth and Don: They are both retired and loving spending time with their three kids. Lucas is a happy older brother to twin girls Taylor and Ava, that they adopted 2 years after Lucas. Lucas knows Lucy is his birth mother and he loves her. Lucy and Mike take him twice a month to spend time with them.
Fin and Alex: Fin is a Lieutenant under Olivia and Alex is the head ADA. They have a boy and a girl. Alexander is 8 and Finley is 6. Alex is definitely the enforcer.
Their family is much bigger now. They still have family dinner every week. They always spend Thanksgiving together. Once a year they take a huge family vacation for a week.
