After taking the commission that Ganyu and Lan gave to Aether, he was devastated to see what happened during that time. He saw his sister Lumine, but he felt confused, sad, and angry. He could have taken her with him, show her around Mondstadt and Liyue, meet his friends and eventually stay there with him. But then, it was not possible, for she was the Abyss Princess. Dainsleif had gone after her and Aether did not fully grasp what happened, from Khaenri'ah's and Dain's true nature to Lumine's so-called 'war with destiny'. The events that occurred that day were too much, and he still thinks about it. What did Lumine really mean that day? What did she mean by the "true nature" of the world? Aether remembered that her sister had already traveled through Teyvat and could only wonder what was waiting for him at the end of his journey.
Hey there! First and foremost, this is my first fanfic that I published and made several days ago. The fanfic revolves around Keqing and Aether, who are characters in the game Genshin Impact. Second, this story was made for people who generally like Aether and/or Keqing or both of them. Not many stories about them exist so I decided to add one more for everyone to read. Third, I'd like to credit my friend, pickopie/Trails Lord/IMarcoBot, for helping me in beta reading, proofreading and also helping me add details in my story. We share common interests about AeQing (whatever their ship name is) and he's the one that really motivated me to write this fanfic.
