A/N: This is for the 5 drabbles competition round 2. the pairing is Harry/Cho and the prompt is mistletoe. It's also for the every kind of pairing challenge for the canon relationship, and the up to 50 different pairings challenge.
Harry and Cho walked along the corridor from the Ravenclaw common room to the Great Hall.
"So you're definitely going to The Burrow for Christmas then?" she asked.
"Yes. It was either that, or stay here," he replied.
Cho knew that things were bad with his family despite the fact he never came out and said so. In fact, it was because he didn't talk about them that she knew.
"Do you think they will let you come to the party on New Year's Eve?"
Cho knew that it was a long shot because Harry had been put under all kinds of protection, but it didn't hurt to ask.
"I'm sorry, Cho. I really wish I could, but they want me to be somewhere they know is completely protected," Harry said.
"It's okay. I do understand and thought that would be the case, but I thought I'd ask anyway."
They walked in silence for a couple of minutes until they suddenly came to a stop. It was like their feet had been glued to the floor.
"What the hell?" Harry grumbled.
Both of them looked around and saw no one, or nothing that would stop them until Cho looked above them.
"Enchanted mistletoe," she said, pointing upward.
"So it is. Reminds me of our first kiss," Harry said, with a small smile.
He had conveniently left out how terrible the kiss had been, and Cho was grateful for it.
"I think we should make a tradition out of it," she said before leaning towards him and placing a kiss on his lips.
Harry responded by drawing her in and deepening it. Somehow it was one of the most intimate ones they'd had and was full of promises of the future.
