Hello everyone this is Naruto Senju with a brand new Harry potter story, with my friend Leyra who is my amazing beta reader. This story I have created with her help will be something entirely new with a new plot that will bring shock and awe to the readers.

It was a dark mild night in October as a hooded figure walked down the dark streets of Godric's Hollow. The man was well known in the magical world as the darkest wizard in a century. He was Tom Marvolo Riddle or Lord Voldemort, a man who pushed through the very boundaries of magic itself, to achieve what many others have died to accomplish. Gazing around the area, he sneered at the sight of muggle children dressed in costumes running amok. Halloween as the Muggles called it was an insult to the Dark Lord, a mockery of the ancient ritual of Samhain. But he couldn't worry about that now since he had a mission to fulfill, to ensure the prophecy that was told to him by his servant, Severus Snape wouldn't come to pass. According to what Severus had heard the prophecy stated "the one to vanquish the dark lord approaches, born as the seventh month dies." That's all he managed to hear before being caught spying by Aberforth. If Snape hadn't been caught he would have been able to hear the whole prophecy.

"Nice costume mister", a child complimented, interrupting his thoughts.

Voldemort gazed down at the small muggle child, dressed like a 'witch'. He let out a quiet hiss of disgust at having filthy Muggles even near him. But he couldn't arouse suspicion. Keeping his composure in check, he responded with a firm but fake polite tone.

"Thank you child, but I'm late for a meeting with someone", he said in a charming tone.

The Dark Lord walked past the child and down the street towards the home of the child who was destined to be his downfall. That rat Pettigrew before he killed him was right about the Potters' location. Despite being a coward the rat fought against his cruciatus curse for over two hours to protect his friends before revealing the location.

"To think a Pureblood would live among filthy Muggles", Voldemort sneered continuing on his way.

Potter Cottage 8:50 PM

Back at the house a loud scream echoed through its halls, almost making them shake. It sounded like a woman being put through some sort of torture. Well, you wouldn't be far off for thinking that.

"Ahhhhhhhhh", the woman screamed as one of the house elves wiped her forehead with a wet cloth.

This woman was Calisto Euphemia Potter, the adopted daughter of Fleamont and Euphemia Potter. Who took her into their family after their son, James, abandoned her and retreated back to his true love; Lily.

Calisto was once a powerful warrior, who spread fear into the hearts of men. She cried in pain as Euphemia sat in front of her convincing her to keep pushing. The contractions she felt were far more painful than what she once endured during her life in ancient Greece.

"That's it, keep going, I can see the head", Euphemia instructed her.

Calisto kept pushing and screaming until the sound of an innocent cry filled the room. It was angelic and serene like her own voice. She panted as she saw the boy she brought into the world wrapped in a blue blanket by her mother.

"It's a boy", Euphemia said, smiling warmly.

Tears of joy streaked down as she gazed down upon the babe. Her emotional smile turned to shock as she noticed her son's lower half was that of a deer. This was unexpected, her son was a golden hind, and the first male one at that.

Calisto cried harder than she ever could before. She held within her arms, the newest addition to the Potter family. The boy resembled his father perfectly. His eyes were a beautiful blue like her own and within them she could see great power.

"Have you chosen a name for him?" Fleamont asked.

She thought for a moment as she gazed upon the child once again. The boy's magic sparkled and shined like the morning sun, and calm and soothing as a moonlit night. She then chose the perfect name for her son that had respect and honor tied to them.

"For my son I will call him Helios Amaterasu Potter. In honor of the sun god and goddess of Greece and Japan."

"Ahhh basically you called him the titan of divine light." Fleamont spoke in a proud manner at the strong name for the Potter heir.

Calisto gently rocked him in his arms as he cooed a little. Fleamont was a happy man and a very lucky one, his daughter, his pride and joy blessed him with a grandchild. He soon began jiggling toy keys in front of him. The baby's eyes following the movement, no doubt fascinated by what he saw. Euphemia sat on the bed and ran her hand through Calisto's blonde hair.

"Time for bed, you've been through a lot today."

Suddenly the front door exploded, one of the house elves rushed in shouting that Voldemort had breached the fidelius charm. Fearing for the worst he ordered Euphemia to stay with Calisto and the baby as he tried to hold Voldemort back. Euphemia grabed his arm begging him not to go through with this suicide mission and suggesting they just apparate from the house. But her husband rebuked that idea as the apparation would be too dangerous for the newborn.

"As Lord Potter I must do what is necessary to protect my family." Fleamont declared boldly.

Euphemia knew she couldn't change her husband's mind. When you're the Lord of an Ancient and Noble House, sometimes you have to do what needs to be done to ensure the family's survival, even at the cost of your own life. Fleamont grasped his wife's hand tightly and kissed her tear stained cheek.

"I'll be alright, Euphemia."

Voldemort let himself in the home as he could see the common interior you would see in a muggle home. The scent in the air was enough to make him sick. Heading further into the living room he was confronted by someone he wasn't expecting to see. Fleamont stood before him with a wand at the ready. Voldemort was quite surprised as he expected to see James. But for now it made no difference.

"Lord Potter, a pleasure as always." The Dark Lord said while giving a mocking bow.

"Voldemort." Fleamont seethed keeping his wand pointed at him.

"Such a shame that blood as pure as yours should be wasted. You are after all one of the most powerful wizards in the world." Voldemort praised with a small hint of respect in his voice. "Shame that your grandchildren are the one that will supposedly destroy me."

"You'll get to my heir over my dead body!"

"Your heir?" The Dark Lord questioned. "I thought only Lily had children?"

"Lily, what are you talking about? My daughter, Calisto carries the heir to the Potter family since Euphemia is barren." Fleamont lied.

"Another Potter?"

"I'm sure the infamous Lord Voldemort has heard of the Mortimer family." taunted Fleamont.

Voldemort's eyes narrowed as Lord Potter's question caught his attention. He knew very well of the history surrounding the Mortimer family. They were among the darkest magical families in history who were obsessed with immortality, much like himself, and eternal youth. They were also masters of the darkest of magic. Unfortunately the remaining members were executed during the Salem Witch Trials in the late 1600s.

"Are you claiming, your daughter is a descendent of the Mortimer family?." Voldemort asked hoping Fleamont was lying as the family line was far more potent with magic that could rival his own. "The family ended in the late 1600s according to magical historians."

"History is a fickle thing, as it can be rewritten at any given time by many who wish to hide certain truths, or help fuel their ideals into society. To answer your question about my wife's claim. Yes, she was confirmed by the goblins of her status and blood relation to the family. Calisto and her child are the last of the family."

"If that's the case, then the child must be the one mentioned in the prophecy." Voldemort raised his wand. "My offer still stands, Lord Potter, allow me to pass and you'll keep your life. Resist and I will kill you." He commanded with a chilling hiss.

Fleamont wasn't intimidated in the slightest. Of course he knew that Voldemort was powerful but knowing he had a family to defend gave him more than enough strength. He immediately shot a cruciatus curse, which Voldemort dodged with inhuman speed. The dark lord flicked his wand, casting a powerful blood boiling curse straight at his opponent. Lord Potter managed to conjure up a shield in the nick of time, causing sparks to reflect off it which destroyed nearby furniture.

"Torquem obumbratio" Fleamont roared waving his wand to form an X shape. Misty, black chains sprag from it as they wrapped around the Dark Lord. "Like it Tom It's a Mortimer family favorite."

Voldemort laughed at his futile effort, but had to admit that the Potter patriarch's magical prowess was immense. Especially his ability to chain together several complex spells wordlessly to such a powerful degree.

"You truly are a powerful wizard, as expected from a pureblood. I would hate to spill magical blood of such caliber." Voldemort soon broke free from the chains and started clapping his hands. "Bravo, Lord Potter, It seems I have underestimated you. Your knowledge in the black arts of magic is truly something to admire."

"Flattery will get you nowhere Voldemort." Fleamont then fired a killing curse, which Voldemort blocked with a nearby table shattering it upon impact.

"That makes two Unforgivables now Lord Potter? It seems there is more to you than I thought." Voldemort chuckled.

"I am many things Voldemort, but light isn't one of them. I was a Slytherin in my Hogwarts days. Of course, you didn't come to listen to my life story. In fact I think it's best you leave, RIGHT NOW!"

Voldemort laughed in a manner he was entirely unused to. This man truly had guts to try and command him. This was a whole new side of his adversary that he had never been allowed to see before. He had to give the man credit though.

"You are either very brave or very foolish. No matter, no matter. You have entertained me long enough, time to end our little game and for me to claim my prize. Die knowing that you fought valiantly Lord Potter. AVADA KEDAVRA!" A green light bolted out of his wand.

"AVADA KEDAVRA" Lord Potter shouted in return as an equally vivid green light shot out of his wand.

The two lights collided, energy sparking as the battle devolved into a contest of will between the casters to decide the final victor. The energy from both wands was astounding, the nearby walls and even the roof being affected as many pieces were shattered by the excess energy of the collision. Unfortunately, Voldemort's will was still stronger as Fleamont's killing curse was pushed back inexorably. Fleamont grunted as he pushed the light back desperately, directing all of his hatred towards Tom. He couldn't fail, not when his family's life was at stake. Voldemort was once again impressed by his opponent. It could almost appear as they were fighting on equal terms to an observer. Unfortunately for him, Voldemort swiftly broke the line between them, pushing out a monumental burst of magic that slammed his opponent into the wall.

"Tut tut, such a pity, you were indeed a worthy adversary." Voldemort simpered down patronisingly.

"Sectumsempra..." Fleamont called out before Voldemort disarmed him.

"I should kill you, but it seems far more deserving to let you live with the knowledge that you failed to save your grandchild." Voldemort laughed, cruelty dripping from his lips before knocking him out with a stunner.

Voldemort heard the sound of barricades being set up from upstairs which merely made him laugh more at the knowledge that the children's last line of defense was their mother. He ascended up the stairs slowly hoping to add to the fear that the house elf must be feeling right now. Euphemia magically locked the door with many locking spells. She commanded her house elf Tippy to take them away from the house and back to Potter Manor. Tippy nodded and snapped his fingers to take them somewhere safe, but nothing happened. He tried again and then again but still nothing.

"Tippy senses anti apparition wards on the house." The elf whined with worry.

The door blew off its hinges from a blasting curse. As the remaining family stared down the Dark Lord. Voldmort snorted in amusement at the situation. His gaze fell down upon Calisto as he got a closer look at her. She was quite the beauty as he would expect and her magic was oozing with power. His attention turned to the boy she was holding as he felt quite the surge of magic coming from the babe. It felt sentient, almost alive. The boy's magic was giving off a warmth like feeling like it was filled with all the light of the world. But also a cold, misty, yet warm feeling like darkness in its purest form. It would appear he would be quite the powerhouse when he got older. Sadly due to the circumstances he wouldn't live to even see adulthood.

Euphemia quickly stood between Voldemort and his prey. She had to pick up where her husband left off, since it was clear he might die if Voldemort managed to get up here.

"Stand aside Lady Potter this isn't your concern. Your husband, even with his magical ability failed to stop me. I would hate to spill your magical blood as well." Voldemort negotiated in an icy tone.

"I will not stand aside." Euphemia shouted in defiance. "I will protect my family with my dying breath. I won't let a filthy mudblood like you hurt them!." Euphemia wasn't prejudiced against Muggleborns, and she hated the bigotry word but she thought it would be the perfect name for him.

"You dare call me one of them!" Voldmort screamed as he waved his wand to kill her.

Tippy snapped his finger as Voldemort's wand flew into his hand. Voldemort showed dark shades of purple on his face. First Lady Potter calls him a mudblood, then her elf dares to steal his wand.

"How dare! you take my wand!" Voldemort raged. "How dare you defy the Dark Lord!."

"I see no dark lord." The elf spoke proudly. "Tippy sees a weak spirited man, who fears death of all things. If you were as powerful as you say you are. Then you would accept death as the next great adventure. Everything has a beginning and an end. You seek immortality, a deadly curse far more punishable than anything else on this earth. A lonely existence, but you've been alone all your life and I feel sorry for you!."

"I don't need lecturing from some lowly, putrid creature." He yelled while wandlessly throwing pieces of broken board towards the house elf.

Tippy conjured a shield immediately shielding himself and his mistress' family. The elf with a wave of his hand pushes Voldemort back causing hiù to land on his back.

"You'll pay dearly for that creature?" He shouted, sending him crashing into the lamp with a wave of his hand.

Tippy yelped as he hit the lamp, glass shards cutting his skin. Poor Tippy bled heavily from the impact but quickly wobbled to his feet. He panted as he coughed up a little blood. He stumbled quickly in front of the crib desperately trying to stand his ground. He looked like he was about to faint any minute now.

"Tippy will still fight" he coughed harshly, splatters of blood hitting the floor. "Tippy will keep the family safe. You will fail."

Tippy conjures up broken shards of glass and sends them hurling towards Voldemort. The Dark Lord conjured a shield which turned the glass into sheets of snow. The elf swiped his hand causing the chandelier to detach from the ceiling and fall on him. Voldemort, with a wave of his wand pushed the chandelier to the side.

"House elf," Voldemort chuckled. "Your pitiful attempts to defeat me are amusing. But now it's time to end our game, Avada Kedavra."

Green light filled the nursery as Tippy felt lifeless to the ground. Stepping over the dead elf's body he approached the bed taking in the sight of his destroyer. The child looked a lot like his mother, with certain traits similar to the Potters. Yes, he could feel the amount of power pouring out from his magical cores a lot better now. He thought of just taking the child and raising him to be his greatest soldier. But then again, paranoia filled him with fear that he would easily turn against him. No, it was better to kill him now then risk him being a threat later. Not wanting to deal with more opposition he stunned Euphemia quickly.

"So this is the child prophesied to kill me. Haha! It's quite amusing that a mere baby would have the power to vanquish me. However I can't take that chance. You know what they say, looks can be deceiving."

"You'll get him over my dead body." Calisto groaned in pain trying to sit up in the bed. "You still have to deal with me."

"You have a determined spirit Mrs Mortimer, however due to the state you're in now. You wouldn't even be able to lift a wand against me. But I could use some amusement before I have to kill the brat." Voldemort laughed with malicious intent behind it.

Calisto focused her magic as her desk drawer opened as a few cards flew out of it and towards her. They fell into her lap and took one of them and held it up high. It was tall, roughly 12 inches long. The back consisted of an orange frame with four stars in the corner and a circle in a crimson background. The sides were decorated golden rings with a sun in the center and a moon in the upper left with a pattern making a star with twelve points.

"Tarot cards." Voldemort let out an amused laugh. "You expect to defeat me with mere tarot cards."

"Joke all you want Tom, but these cards have a powerful history that you would be careful not to mock." she warned him.

"Then by all means show me this so-called magic." He taunted her.

The card in her hands began to glow as Voldemort decided enough was enough. His amusement had finally taken enough of his time. "This has gone on long enough, goodbye."

Itsque ea omnia fiunt

(Let everything be done accordingly)

Nec defuit Sic fiat

(Let nothing fail so mote it be!)

Calisto tossed the clow card into the air as a magical circle formed below her.

"Avada Kedavra." Voldemort shouted, the light shot out from his wand towards Calisto.

She called upon the card's name to lend her its power. "Mirror! Lend me your power and reveal the killing curses real target"

Grey and white mists erupted from the card as it formed a large magical mirror of enchanted glass. It revealed Voldemort's reflection as the killing curse struck the glass and reflected it back. Voldemort immediately dodged the reflected curse by a hair. He had never seen this type of magic before.

"Quite impressive Mrs Mortimer, you came very close to actually killing me." he let out a loud laugh. "Now it's my turn to repay the favor."

The Dark Lord raised his wand to deliver the swift kill until a flash of blue light filled the room and a man stood between him and his prey. He wore a leather vest decorated in silver, with pants that enclosed his legs tightly, again for movement and protection. Both were held close with a big buckled belt. His wrists had arm guards also decorated in silver, allowing him to catch any blade that might be used against him. He also wore sturdy boots allowing him quick movement and silent approach.

"Who are you to dare stand between Lord Voldemort and his prey?"

"Who are you to talk down to the God of War?" Ares retorted. "and I don't take kindly to some low ass mortal trying to kill my wife and son."

"Your son?" Voldemort questioned. "This child is the grandson of Fleamont Potter."

"You got that part wrong, you see my son is a very rare child, half god and half golden hind. Zeus has been hunting the hinds to extinction and my wife is half hind. That made her a target so I had her live among a mortal family, and Fleamont and Euphemia owed me a favor." Ares spoke in a commanding yet drawl tone.

"Surely someone of your lust for war and violence knows casualties are part of war." Voldemort argued.

"That may be for the mortals, but if that casualty is my son, then you messed with the wrong God, pal." Ares threatened him. "Now I suggest you leave before I send your hairless body to the river styx."

Voldemort wasn't intimidated per say, the Dark Lord was a fan of Ares work and always brought glory and death in his name. But now looking at the God before him made him rethink his loyalty. Ares, the mighty God of War being a daddy? to him that was laughable. He let out a hearty laugh.

"I'm sorry, I must have missed the joke" Ares deadpanned, looking almost bored as his eyes found Voldemort's.

"You expect me to believe that the mighty Ares, which all warmongers pray to? settled down to play daddy to some beastling?"

Ares' mouth grit back into a snarl, he wasn't taking this bastard's attitude towards his son. His left hand soon became enveloped in fire, the yellow and orange hues flickering in the air.

"Well funny man your right about one thing."

"oh? and what's that?"

"I am his daddy" Ares grinned before barbecuing the Dark Lord alive.

Voldemort, not able to dodge the incoming fire, was soon engulfed by the flames. He let out a loud, agonizing scream as the flames licked his skin and started to smolder, reducing his body to ashes. Ares blew on his finger, impressed with his work. Turning to his wife, He immediately checked to see if she or his son were harmed in any way.

"We're fine Ares." Calisto assured him.

Ares gazed down upon the boy as he gave his wife a "can i hold him look". Calisto placed Helios in his arms. Ares held him carefully, resting the baby's head on his upper arm. The boy looked like him except he had his mothers eyes. He could feel the strong magic from him and it smelled so beautiful.

"Hey there my little warrior, my name is Ares and I'm your daddy, the big bad God of War." Ares smiled, gazing proudly at his son.

Calisto scoffed playfully at her husband, not wanting him to turn his son into his mini me.

"what's his name?" he asked her.

"Helios Amaterasu Potter." Calisto answered.

"Helios, naw that name is too light oriented for people like that Dumbledore guy you told me about. No he needs a name that shows he doesn't stand out as light or dark!" Ares chuckled.

"Then what do you suggest?" Calisto asked hotly.

"How about Marcus Amaterasu, our warlike little sun."

"Marcus huh? sounds appropriate. wait i got the perfect name. Azrail Thanatos Mortimer Potter." Ares grinned proudly with a wide grin.

Calisto grinned as well, Azrail was a powerful name it meant Angel of Death. She agreed with Ares on the name. She then asked her husband what should happen when word reached the mortals of Voldemort's downfall. Ares told her that they will reveal that the Dark Lord was killed by Azrail with the aid from the Gods. That way his son could live a normal life and he would ensure that. Confused by his last statement she asked what he meant by that.

"Simple, my wild amazon, I'll be living here with you and the baby. I'll assume the identity of Marcus Hades Mortimer, that way I'll be able to protect both of you."

"What about Zeus, and our baby is the first male golden hind. You saw his lower half is of a deer." Calisto panicked. "You also know in the Wizarding World the Hind is sacred and has the blood to kill Gods. Not to mention how rare their blood is in potions."

Ares shook his head, "do not worry about my father, my love, I will simply let rumours reach him that I have taken a wife and that she has blessed me with a strong and powerful son. We just need to ask your adoptive parents to glamour him, so he will never find out about what you both are. As for the Wizarding Folk, most of the old families still worship one, or several of us Gods, so if word gets spread you are under my protection, neither you, nor Azrail have anything to worry about."

To reassure her, he pressed a kiss to the crown of her head, pulling her close to him and holding both her and their son close to him.
