This is a number of days late, I know. If you want to know why that is, and why the chapter is the way it is, read my AN down below.
The Olympian God of Destruction:
Chapter 9: The Titanomachy II
"Oh good. You're all finally up and about." Beerus remarked from his place outside, seated on a raised slab of stone with Zeus and Rhea stood to the sides as they watched his siblings come outside with Metis in tow, all garbed in the same tunic they'd worn previously. His brothers to the left, whilst his sisters were to the right.
"Pardon me, Beerus, but what is this all about?" Hestia, his twin asked rather politely as they all came to a stop near him. None of them failing to take note of their mother's and youngest brother's presences here before them. "Metis tells us that you had need for all of us outside for some sort of training?"
"Exactly that, Hestia." Beerus affirmed with a grin as he hopped down off the rock and landed right in front of his sister. Metis taking this opportunity to move closer to Zeus and be at his side as she listened in and watched. "I've decided to stick around for a bit for some much needed training on my part, and I've been… convinced shall we say, that it would be beneficial if I gave you all some guidance in improving yourselves while I'm at it."
"Guidance? From you, dear brother?" Demeter blinked bemusedly. "What will it be for?"
Hera rose a regal eyebrow as she glanced over at her older sister. "I would think that is fairly obvious to figure out, Demeter. Beerus isn't the only one our bastard father will have a vested interest in after our escape. That horrid monster swallowed all of us to get rid of us just as we were born, so there's no doubt he'll be coming for us as well. Or did you not hear him when he ordered his lackeys to 'deal with us' after they'd taken out Beerus? I wouldn't be shocked if he's already sent out a hunt for us."
"You think so?" Demeter asked with genuine concern.
"Our brother pretty much declared war on him and his allies with what he told them before our escape." Hestia spoke up rather astutely and concernedly as she eyed her twin. "Even if you take away whatever reason our father had to get rid of us in the first place, there's no way he, or his allies, is going to take that lightly. And considering we're on his side, there's little doubt they'll be coming for us as well."
"Ah… I see…"
"Very observant of you, Hestia. And you as well Hera." Beerus acknowledged with a nod, seeing that both were smart enough to realize that without being told.
"So, you'll be helping to train us up, huh?" Hades grinned, excited at the prospect. "I can get behind that."
"I'm sure you can, Hades." Beerus grinned back at his favourite brother. "I expect you to give it your all. It'd be a waste of time otherwise."
"Never would've even thought of half-assing it, brother."
"Good to hear." Heh, Champa could've learned something from him. "Of course, I won't be helping you the whole time. I have my own training to take care of, after all, so I'll only be directly aiding you occasionally on an individual basis, when I deem it necessary, as that's how I'd prefer to do things."
Before any of them could respond to that questioningly, Rhea chose that moment to step forward and bring her gathered children's attention to her. "That's where I come in." Her hands propped on her hips as she stared over her assembled children, sans Beerus and Zeus, with a strong, maternal glow in her eyes. "I'll be the one mainly overseeing all of your progress and teaching you all how how to properly harness your natural abilities."
"You will?" Poseidon blurted out with a somewhat surprised expression. Not the only one of the goddess's spawn that seemed to be taken aback by her taking responsibility for it.
"Of course, I will my child." The Titaness replied softly, looking towards one of her younger sons caringly. "Think of it as a way for me to make up for lost time with all of you. As your mother, it's my duty to ensure that you are all more than capable of looking after yourselves." She then looked out across all of them again. "I hope that'll be alright with all of you?"
"It is more than alright mother. I look forward to it." Hestia smiled brightly after a few seconds, loving the prospect of being able to immediately spend more personal time with her previously separated parent. "I'm sure we all do." She continued sweetly, turning to look at her younger brothers and sisters, who all ended up nodding after a bit with similar smiles of their own. Not one arguing against this decision, as all of them liked the idea of spending more time with their only caring parent, who'd very quickly gotten on their good sides in less than a day.
"Thank you all. You've no idea how much I appreciate that." Rhea beamed just as much as her eldest daughter did. Giving the latter an appreciative nod for the encouraging words, which was naturally returned.
"So, does that mean you'll be teaching Beerus too?" Demeter asked curiously, looking between the two of them. "I mean, he did say he'd be training too, so…"
"Nope." Beerus shook his head. "She's just here for you lot. While I'm sure she'd do fine with what I need taught, I have my own teacher."
"You do?" Hestia tilted her head inquisitively. "If it's not our mother though, dear brother, then who exactly will be training you?" Her glowing eyes shifting from her brother, over to the couple of their youngest kin and his lover who'd helped in their escape from Kronos' domain. "Is there something you need learned from Zeus or Metis perhaps?"
"Pfft. From them?" He snorted while jutting a thumb in their direction. "Are you joking? Of course not. I have someone actually worth a damn who's going to be helping me."
Metis felt her brow twitch vigorously at that last remark. Someone actually worth a damn? What nerve… Even if he'd done the heavy lifting protecting them, they'd still played a solid role in actually getting them out and away from Mount Othrys! The blatant and insulting dismissal of them like that just… Irked her.
"Who's that?" Poseidon, ever the straight-forward one, spoke up again. Pretty much echoing the question that each of the five had on their minds.
"That would be me, child." The feminine voice of Gaea responded from effectively all around them. Her form, like it had done earlier in front of Beerus and Zeus, making the soil give way as her voluptuous, hour-glass figure rose up from the ground a few metres to their left. The primordial goddess's massive G-cup breasts giving a healthy bounce as she appeared. Pert, brownish nipples swaying through the air as she drew everyone's attention to her.
"Oh… Wow…" The second youngest son of Kronos and Rhea mouthed in awe. His eyes widening and mouth trailing open momentarily as the five of them were taken aback by the newcomer's appearance.
"This is Gaea, everyone." Rhea introduced kindly. A warm smile on her face as she motioned towards mother nature herself. "Your grandmother and primordial goddess of the Earth. She'll be the one assisting your brother with his training whilst I work on yours."
"It is good to meet you all." The protogenos of the Earth and life with a friendly smile. "I know this is a little bit sudden, but I do hope you don't mind me taking your rather rambunctious brother off your hands. He'll need to be sufficiently ready, after all, if he truly intends to take your father down for good."
The others nodded. Recovering after a moment from the initial surprise of her appearance. Recognizing her name from when Metis had mentioned it before, as the one responsible for their current location's magical veil of protection apparently warding off Kronos' sight of them.
Poseidon gulped, unknowingly mimicking Zeus's reaction from earlier that day when she first appeared. The latter of which kept his expression neutral, being mindful that his consort was beside him this time, as the former's eyes roamed up and down her form. Bodacious, naked figure with skin matching the shade of the healthiest roots underneath the earth, covered only by some splotches of bright-green moss, with only her womanhood fully covered. The rest of her pretty much as bare physically as nature itself was, with her long-flowing soil-coloured hair framing slightly over her luscious green eyes and immaculate, gorgeous features.
The purple-haired, former cat deity spotted the way his younger relative was doing this, and had to bury the concern he felt mentally that he, once again, didn't feel the kind of disgust he should've, considering his own brother was openly ogling his own bloody grandmother. That and the fact that he seemed to be the only one who held any sort of misgiving to stuff like this, alarmingly not anywhere close to how much he would've, before being sent here.
"With that settled," Beerus began again, choosing to push that troublesome fact away once more as he re-garnered everyone's attention. "Our mother will be my eyes and ears on all of your progress, and if she thinks she needs me, or I just feel in the mood myself, I'll swing along by. So with that being said, there better not be any slacking off because you don't understand something." His golden eyes shifted to his youngest sister teasingly. "Some of you more than others."
Hera's sharp hazel eyes narrowed like slits at that, arms folding beneath her ample bosom as a smirk dusted her features. "Is that so? Well, knowing how crude you are, I guess we'll see just how beneficial your 'guidance' will actually be."
"Ohoh, is that right?" Beerus just rolled his eyes at Hera's playful jab. "'Crude' she says. Pah! If your capabilities when we were trapped in our bastard 'father's' gut were half as good as your sass, then maybe you might've actually been useful." He then smirked. "But I suppose I'll have to see for myself if you even have any to begin with other than that cheeky mouth of yours."
"Hmph. I assure you, Beerus. This 'cheeky mouth' of mine isn't all I've got." His youngest sister upturned her head proudly, with a challenging glare in her eyes. And rest assured, I will find a way to get you back for that stunt you pulled earlier!
Beerus met it easily, more than a little amused at this point. "Go ahead. By all means, Hera. Just try not to disappoint me with your performance."
"The only one who'll be disappointed is me, should I find your efforts to be lacklustre." She bit back cooly. "I have high standards, so try not to dissatisfy me with your 'guidance', whenever you decide to bring it, Beerus."
High standards? As compared to what exactly? "Hmph. I should be saying something like that to you, woman. You're the one who has to prove yourself to me, not the other way around. When I come to you, we'll see if you have what it takes to satisfy me."
Neither noticed the odd smile that Rhea gave them at this. Nor the similar one Gaea held as she watched on. The former wondering if either even knew how their banter was starting to come off, while the latter was simply entertained by their antics.
"Now then," The once anthropomorphic cat looked over all his assembled siblings, even Zeus, as he brought his hands behind his back. An old habit taking hold as his fists touched while he regarded the lot of them. "any questions before we all get started?"
"Yes. I believe I have one." Metis piped up, pulling Beerus's, and by extension, everyone else's gaze to her.
The former GOD of the seventh universe rose a brow, but otherwise shrugged as he motioned for her to go on.
"You said that you'd take each of your siblings on, on an individual basis to aid them, yes?" Her eyes narrowed sharply on him. "I have a proposition then. How about you and Zeus have a spar?"
How about him and me what? Zeus's eyes widened considerable as he openly stared at his soon-to-be wife with alarm.
Both Rhea and Gaea exchanged a puzzled, but no less intrigued glance at the request. Meanwhile the two aforementioned gods' siblings stared between them and the Oceanid with varying looks of bewilderment.
"Ho? A spar, you say?" Beerus looked mildly entertained by the idea.
"Yes. I believe it could be a good way for you to aid each other. Unlike the rest, Zeus actually has some control of his abilities already, and in my opinion, he won't need your help with that. He and you could benefit however from a hands-on affair."
"Hmm. Both of us benefit?" Beerus gave her a bemused look. "You'll have to forgive me, but I don't really see how I benefit from it."
Metis simply smiled. Her eyes shining with wisdom and confidence. "You'll find out what I mean should you accept. I promise you, I'm neither lying nor exaggerating."
"Heh. She's quite confident in you, Zeus." Amber eyes amusedly glanced briefly danced toward the youngest of them, who looked more like a deer caught in the headlights than anything else. "Very well then. I suppose it wouldn't hurt." Well. Not him anyway. "We could do it right now if you want? Just to get it out of the way."
Zeus almost looked white as a ghost now, remembering how he'd been able to handle himself against the Titans, even if none of them had been in their True Divine Form.
"How about a few weeks from now instead?" Metis countered. "That way, Zeus should have enough time to gain even full control of his power with my help. Similar to how you have," And it still boggled her how he'd managed that without guidance himself. "which should make it all the better."
"If you say so." Beerus shrugged. "Fine, if that's how you want to do it, I'll accept your little proposal." His eyes then honed back in on Zeus with a less than pleasant gleam. "Just be sure not to bore me. Your confidence has me a little intrigued right now, so for your sakes, I hope it's not just hot air."
"I assure you. It's not." Metis stood her ground. Something that, though he didn't show it, raised Beerus's impression of her just a smidge.
"Well alright then. Guess you and I will be getting better acquainted soon enough, Zeus. I Hope that you know what you're getting into."
"U-Uh yeah. I guess we will." Said young deity really didn't like the almost predatory shine that passed over his eyes as he gave him one final look.
"Don't worry." Metis whispered as she leaned in. "I know what I'm doing here. Just trust me, okay?"
Zeus could only nod and hope that his consort was being truthful. She had seen Beerus's strength and technique in that brief show on Mount Othrys just as much as he had, so that did give him some hope that she had some idea, as she'd had yet to lead him wrong so far.
"Now that that's settled. Does anyone else have a question?"
There were none.
"Alrighty then! What are you all still standing around for? Get to it!"
A little later on…
"This should be a good spot for us to begin." Gaea remarked, her and Beerus now a way's away from the rest of the group, enough to where they could only be sensed, but not seen.
"Good. I'm looking forward to getting this done."
Turning to him with her massive breasts giving a healthy jiggle, Gaea set a teasing smile on her features and propped a hand on her hip. "My, someone's in a rush. After seeing what I just saw though, I'm not sure if that's so you can get closer to your goal, or because you want to get back to flirting with Hera."
Beerus froze, and then looked at the primordial deity sharply. "What are you talking about? I wasn't flirting with her."
"If you say so." The goddess replied with a shrug, totally unconvinced by that. "I was just calling it how I saw it, is all."
"Yeah? Well you saw wrong. She's my sister for crying out loud."
Gaea rose an inquisitive brow. "I fail to see how that's an issue, Beerus. Your predecessors are all my children, as I've said before, and that hasn't stopped them from pursuing a relationship with each other."
Beerus's cringe was visible, though by no means as pronounced as it would've been prior to his 'rebirth'. A fact that like his other reactions, continued to disturb him mentally. "Don't remind me…"
"If you want to pursue one yourself with her, or perhaps either one of your other sisters, Hestia and Demeter, then you shouldn't be feeling awkward about it. It is only natural, as I told you before, young one."
Not where I originally came from, it sure as hell isn't! "Ugh. Just stop. I came here with you for your training in order to get this 'True Divine Form' that I'm missing. Not to chat about nonsense like me getting involved that way with one of my sisters."
"Very well then. I'll just leave that be for now and move on to more important matters."
"Good. That's better."
"Just be sure to let me know when the wedding's on, okay?" She added slyly.
"Wedding? Who's wed-" It just hit him as he looked at her cheeky expression. "Ohhh…" He then face-palmed, before running the hand down passed his chin in a show of irritation as he groaned.
She was lucky this wasn't back in Universe 7. He'd destroyed planets for less than that horrible tease.
"Okay. All jokes aside," Gaea's expression schooled into something more serious. "it's about time we got started, don't you think?"
Finally… Beerus grumbled, but otherwise didn't complain.
"Feel free to keep standing or sit down if you wish. It won't make a difference for what we'll be doing." She said as she crossed her arms beneath her giant mounds, pushing the perky, fat duo up as excess flesh bubbled out over her forearms.
Almost instinctively, as though he were back to his early days training with Whis, Beerus slid to the ground and sat whilst crossing his legs in a lotus position. His arms propping up on either limb as he awaited what the protogenos of the Earth and life's progenitor had to say.
"To begin with, it is important that you know what a domain actually is." She started, taking on a lecturing tone. "A domain is a metaphysical concept that exists as part of our natural world. To use a simple example, think of that mountain you and your siblings are currently residing in."
"Okay." Beerus glanced off into the distance towards said mountain, waiting for Gaea to continue.
"This one is easier, since I can point you towards it. That mountain, like every other mountain in our endless world, has both a physical and metaphysical side to it. The one you can see, and the one you can't. At least not yet anyway." She added. "Both of them can be interacted with by us, but the metaphysical side is much more important. Just as its physical part is made up of matter that you can touch, its metaphysical part is made of essence that can be as well."
"Hmm… I think I get it." Sort of, anyway.
"I want you to close your eyes for now, Beerus." He did so without complaint. "Now, since you already have full control of your own power, I want you to expand out your senses and feel out that mountain in particular, for this example."
That was a little bit harder but given his sensing ability was close enough to how it'd been with ki, he'd locked on to it after a moment.
Without him even saying anything, Gaea just seemed to know he'd accomplished what she'd asked of him and continued on. "Now, I want you to really home in on it Beerus. Delve as deep as you can. Once you do, you should be able to feel something respond to you, if you do it right."
"Hnn." Beerus's posture relaxed even more, as he focused his sensing abilities like she'd said. He'd imagine this would've been more difficult if he didn't already have so much experience with a similar process, as in less than a moment, on a more 'spiritual' level, he could feel himself diving deep into the mountain. His senses on high alert as he went deeper and deeper still, searching for the response she was talking about.
It took a good few minutes, with the protogenos waiting patiently, but eventually, Beerus did feel a response coming from the mountain, once he'd gone as deep as possible. It was hard to describe what the response was like, but if he had to give his best guess, it almost like something… brushing off him?
"You've got it." Gaea nodded, before he could even confirm himself that he had. Was it the fact that she was the goddess of Earth that allowed her to just know or something? "Now that you know most of the first step, and could do it properly, I'll ask you to pull away from the mountain now."
Most of the first step? I haven't even done the first step yet? Beerus's eyes snapped open as he cut off his senses from the mountain and looked towards Gaea curiously. "What's the rest of it then?"
"The last bit involves you reaching out for what responded. It felt like something brushing against you, yes?" Beerus nodded. "What that was, was the mountain's metaphysical essence interacting with you. Think of it like the blanket your mother gave you after you were born. The one that is currently your tunic." She explained. "The essence of whatever domain you wish to take for yourself can be thought of like an abstract blanket. One that rather than wrap around your physical body, wraps around your soul itself, and intertwines with your very being."
"Wraps around the soul, and intertwines with my being, huh?" He supposed that made some sort of sense, in its own weird way. He'd heard more confusing stuff before during his training days with Whis. "So, am I supposed to try and latch on to it spiritually or what?"
"That's the basic gist of it, yes." The buxom primordial affirmed with a pleased smile. "For the last part of the first step, you're going to want to make sure that the domain you're trying to involve yourself with is one that you personally feel a connection to. Outside of myself and the other protogenoi, pretty much every being that has come to this point and took on their first domain felt some sort of connection to it."
Beerus chose to ignore the part of that statement mentioning other 'protogenoi' or whatever like her and focused on the more important detail there. "A connection? What do you mean?"
"Think of it like this." She elaborated. "When you felt the response from the mountain, all you felt was a very light brush, correct?"
"Yes? And?"
"That means that what you just reached out for, didn't resonate well with your soul. Now that doesn't mean that you can't connect yourself to it if you really wanted to, but what it does mean is that its essence doesn't mesh well with your being. Though you would be able to take it if you wish, to put it simply, it wouldn't feel natural for you. To use the blanket analogy again, it'd be like one that just doesn't fit you, even if it is useable."
"I think I get what you're saying." He nodded. "So, I assume that means I'll get a much stronger response from a domain that does resonate well with me?"
"Exactly right." She affirmed. "The first domain you get, and every other one you may take from there, will have a greater response to you."
"Good to know."
"There's one other thing I should explain to you about it though. You should know that there's two different kinds of domains." She expounded, pulling one arm up from her bust as she held up a finger. "Major and minor, though I suppose you could also call them primary and secondary if you wish."
"What's the difference?" He asked with genuine curiosity.
"Twofold." She held up a second finger to illustrate. "The first being that your major domain, or domains should you manage to attain more than one, will have the strongest connection with you. Once you've fully merged with them, you will have the greatest influence over it as you embody the concept. Meanwhile, a minor domain, while you'll have influence over it, it won't be the best. You'll have control alright, but it won't be anything compared to one of your peers who has it as their major. They'll easily be able to override anything you attempt to use the domain for, should they want to."
"Ah. I get what you mean." That was fairly straight-forward. "Judging from what you just said though, I guess a number of us can end up with the same domain?"
"It has been known to happen, yes." She confirmed. "Not the most common as of now, but I have seen quite a few instances."
"Okay." Something occurred to him then. "Before you continue, I have to ask. When it comes to the major domain I take, what if someone else already has it as theirs, or ends up taking it as theirs in the future? Do we just cancel each other out or something?"
Gaea's brows furrowed as she took on a pensive expression. "Though I have yet to see that scenario take place personally, I would imagine that since the two or more of you would have absolute dominion over it, you'd either stalemate, or one of you would end up overruling the others and forcing them to have lesser influence over the domain."
So, that was something even she wasn't certain of? To be fair, if a situation like that had never actually come up, short of her having total omniscience, it made sense that that'd be something she couldn't fully answer. "Alright then. Carry on."
"Very well. As for the second difference, this relates more to the domains themselves, rather than your affinity. You have major domains, which hold the stronger importance to our world as a function of it, whereas a minor one is less important. You could almost call it a by-product of another more major domain, though they are separate." She took this moment to point towards the mountain she'd just had him sense out for. "That mountain you're living in, for example, is a minor domain. Just as is every other mountain in the universe. However, all mountains as a whole that are and will be are a major domain." A fond smile took root on her face, as she brought her arm back and folded it over the other. "Currently, only the individual, minor aspects of the mountains are claimed, and they are under the control of my children, the Ourea, who are the mountains themselves. Just as I am the Earth itself, and are protogenoi like myself. I can have you speak to one of them later, if you want. They're a bit reclusive but are very kind and polite all the same." Her smile than faded for a brief instant and was taken over by a fierce scowl. "Something I wish I could say for all of my children. Some more than others."
"I'll pass." It didn't take a genius to figure out who'd likely popped into her head then. And Beerus found himself being right there with her, for his own more selfish reasons, of course.
"That's a shame." Gaea was right back to a more chipper mood, as she smiled kindly down on her student. "I'll bet you would've enjoyed their company. They really are a joy to be around once you get to know them."
Beerus sighed in slight annoyance. "Maybe later. Can we just get back to business here?"
"Yes. Yes. I was just trying to have a bit of a chat, is all." She shook her head in mock exasperation. "Honestly, with an attitude like that, I almost pity anyone who becomes your future consort."
He could feel a vein beginning to pop on his temple, as his face scrunched up irritably. "Are you done?"
Gaea brought a hand up to her lips to supress the humoured giggle from seeing his reaction. "Okay. I'll stop." She cleared her throat, before bringing her hand down. "Moving on. Now is as good a time as any to get to the most important part before you can go about accomplishing the first step in achieving your own ascended state. Picking out the domain that best suits you."
One that best suited him, eh? Beerus smirked, as he brought his open hand out and stared down at it. A mixture of gold and purple waving about from wrist to fingertips.
If it was available, there was only one that sprung to mind.
"Perhaps on this matter, I could lend you some assistance." Gaea broached kindly, taking note of the aura enveloping his hand with an observant eye. "I felt your power for myself back when you were escaping Kronos and his Titan brethren. Even now, I can feel the essence of your very being, and there's something that strikes me about it. Something that lingers on it in a way even I'm unfamiliar with. It feels very… destructive in nature."
"Is that right?" The reborn god met mother nature's gaze amusedly. All but grinning from ear-to-ear. "Well then, I guess it's obvious which one I should go for, no?" Almost like it was meant to be. Some things never changed. "It's kind of ironic, when you think about it."
"It is?" Gaea rose a brow. "How so?"
"You're basically the god of creation, in a way, seeing as life came from you. And right now, you're helping to train the one who'll be your opposite." Beerus's teeth started to show through his grin, as his aura began to envelop his whole body in that moment. "The god of destruction."
"Huh…" Gaea paused for a few seconds to take that in, before letting out a small laugh as it fully dawned on her then. "I guess you could look at it that way. Still, you have to become one with it first. And if destruction is going to be your major, then I guess we'll get a proper answer to your question from earlier."
Beerus's eyes narrowed as his aura faded away. "So, someone already has destruction as their domain?"
"Yes." She nodded again. "The Titan Perses. The son of Krios, whom you already met back atop Mount Othrys alongside the rest of Kronos' Titan brothers allied to him."
"Oh goodie." Sarcasm dripped from his tone. "So, he's an enemy then. Another one I may have to run through to get to Kronos. How wonderful."
"Not necessarily." Gaea smiled knowingly, clearly knowing something he didn't. "In fact, I'm fairly sure he won't get involved at all. At least not on Kronos' side anyway."
"What makes you so certain of that?"
"Let's just say you and your siblings aren't the only ones who dislike your father and leave it at that, for now."
"Pfft. Whatever." Beerus chose to just let it go on that cryptic note. "It doesn't matter either way. Far as I'm concerned, he's but a placeholder until I take that mantle for myself."
"How bold of you to say." She said jocularly, her breasts bouncing lightly as she unfolded her arms and placed a hand on her hip. "Still, you'll have to get going on the first step toward taking the domain before making any more assertions like that." A foxy grin came over her, as she added jokingly, "Sometime today would be good, if you don't mind."
Says the woman who went off on tangents about my sisters and her mountain brats… The soon-to-be god of destruction again thought annoyedly but chose to let it go. It just wasn't worth the effort.
There was just one small problem, however. How exactly did he sense the essence of destruction? Sure, the mountain had been all well and good, as it was an easy target that you could point towards. Destruction, however, was not. As a whole, it had no real physical state. It was almost purely abstract.
Did he just wing it and hoped that he found something that felt similar to the power of destruction he'd held back in Universe 7 relatively quick?
He said as much to Gaea, minus the Universe 7 part.
Fortunately, it seemed, she had an answer. "If you're wondering how to sense destruction, it may be easier than you think. While you're right about what you said, remember what I told you before. Just expand your senses as much as you can. The essence of destruction will respond to you soon enough. And trust me, you'll know it's the right one when it does. The response won't just be stronger. Your soul, as I said, has something lingering off it that feels eerily similar to the power Perses holds. I daresay it feels like an infinitesimal fragment of it already with you. Quite odd indeed," She nodded as she pondered that. "even I've never quite seen that before."
Well. That was… interesting to hear, to say the least.
"Putting that aside though," She pressed on. "given that is the case, I wouldn't be surprised if when you do find the essence of destruction, for you more than anyone else perhaps, it'll feel like a piece of you that's been missing this whole time."
"A piece that's been missing this whole time…" Beerus almost wanted to laugh. That was definitely some way to put it, alright. "Very well then." He closed his eyes and began to stretch out his senses with enthusiasm. I guess there's nothing left other than for me to get to it, then.
Sat there under the protogenos' watchful gaze, Beerus searched. And searched. And searched. His senses scanning all around as much of this world as he could, for nothing else other than the metaphysical essence he sought.
The fledgling deity had no idea how long had passed as he did. His only indication that any significant time had gone by at all, being the waning of the sun's rays upon him and the cooling of the air around his body.
His patience didn't wane in this instance however, for he knew the importance of this. He simply kept straining his senses, until…
Is that it? Beerus thought, senses stretched out to the max as he felt his attention suddenly get pulled… well, he couldn't' really say in which direction, as that was far too simple a term for something like this. But he could feel something that felt familiar. Not wasting time, he followed that feeling, like he was delving downwards into a deep ocean for a light that somehow managed to pierce through the ever-encroaching darkness. The closerhe got, the stronger the sensation became. So much so, that Beerus almost lost focus entirely from the effect it was beginning to have on his soul.
Undeterred, he pressed ever forward, until he was almost as 'close' so to speak, as he'd been to the mountain's essence before. As soon as he was though, to his surprise, that's when he felt another pull on his being from close-by. One that felt different from the one he was fingertips away, but that he felt no less of a strong inclination towards as the one before him. It too, strangely, felt familiar to him, but in a more recent way that he couldn't quite put his finger on, unlike the first.
No wait… He could. It felt destructive too, but in a different way. The one before him felt more… raw, like the destruction power he'd held back in his destroyer days of his old universe. This one though… it brought about flashes of that timeline debacle with Zamasu from the future and that Trunks kid for some reason. Its destructive essence felt more temporal in nature.
He was almost tempted to go to it instead out of sheer curiosity, but he held himself back. This wasn't the time to be getting distracted! Whatever that domain was, if he still felt inclined, he'd look into it later. Now however, he already had one to attend to.
Forgetting about the other one for now, he put his full focus back into the first, more raw feeling one, and all but plunged himself spiritually right into it.
As soon as he did, Beerus's entire body, mind and especially his soul quaked as he reached out for the essence's metaphorical heart and grabbed on to it with all his might! What had been just a light brush before with the mountain's now felt like he was being enveloped head-to-toe right down to the very deepest depths of his being. It pressed in all around him like a cocoon, and Beerus's eyes nearly shot open again as a wave of euphoria he hadn't been expecting all but slammed into him like a freight train. On the outside, his body shook as his golden-purple aura framed over him once again, this time appearing far thicker, and brimming more vibrantly than it ever had.
This feels… incredible! Was Beerus' only thought, as Gaea's words from earlier came true in a big way. This sensation, it was surreal. It really did feel like he'd been missing a part of himself that was just now patching itself back in where it belonged. It felt better than any food he'd ever sampled back in his old universe, even the most delicious food ever made, that he'd been able to smell all the way from his own planet! It sure as hell beat the small bit of excitement he'd felt on the rare occasion he'd gotten a decent fight, even though he was using but a fraction of his real power. Such was the case with his second bout against Son Goku in his newly attained god form.
Heck, he'd daresay it almost felt downright orgasmic!
This sensation continued on until eventually, like coming down from a high, it faded down as Beerus' eyes finally peeled open, and he noticed that he was no longer sitting. Glancing down, he recognised that at some point, he'd stood up without realising it.
"It felt good, didn't it?" he heard Gaea say with amusement, which brought his attention back to the grinning goddess. "It appears I may have understated the effect it may have on you. I don't think I've ever seen anyone in such bliss after latching on to their first domain." She giggled into one of her hands.
"What's so funny?" Beerus blinked at her behaviour, now fully aware of his surroundings once more, and the fact that the sun had set considerably from when they'd started.
"Oh nothing. Nothing at all, young one." Gaea deflected, but couldn't help letting another giggle out despite herself at a now rather confused Beerus's expense. He had no clue that he just expressed everything he was feeling in that moment on the outside as well. Good grief, the faces he made there… that just made my day… At the end, he might as well have had the face of someone in the middle of a climax.
She was just going to keep that little tidbit to herself for now. Might be fun to come back to that later for some teasing material.
"Hmph. Whatever you say." Beerus shrugged off her behaviour, having already stopped caring as he grinned like a madman. "In any case, the first step of our little training session is done. I'm now completely latched on to the domain of destruction."
"Yes. That much is clear." She agreed, looking him over with a more analytical eye. "I can definitely feel the change in you. Your inner power feels a lot more like Perses' now, but with your own unique tint to it."
"Heh." Beerus clenched and unclenched his hands into fists with newfound excitement as he felt his link to the domain established. And now that it was, he could practically taste the unfathomable depths of power it could afford him. "I can't wait to test this out."
"Woah now, slow down your horses, Beerus." The large-breasted goddess cut him off with a bit of mirth. "Just because you're linked to it now, doesn't mean you can just hop on into using it without a problem. Far from it, in fact. We've barely even begun your training."
"Really now?" She was honestly beginning to sound a little like Whis there, during his early years training to be the next destroyer of his old universe.
"Oh yes. This was the easy part, Beerus. You've still got two more steps to go, and each will be exponentially harder than this, and require your utmost attention and practise."
Well, he was no stranger to that. "Bring it on, then. We've still got time to-" A yawn sprung out, cutting him off as an odd bout of tiredness suddenly came over him. "We've still… what the?"
"Getting tired already?" She gave him a once over, before nodding in understanding. Not looking surprised in the least. "I thought as much. I forgot to mention this too, but the first time around attaching yourself to a domain, has the tendency to bring about tiredness as a side-effect because of the added 'weight', for lack of a better term, on the soul."
"Tch. Seriously?" She only chose now to tell him this? Now she really was beginning to remind him of Whis, and not in a good way.
"Don't worry, it'll pass. It's only a minor thing. You can nap it off, and it'll be gone."
"Fine." He let out an annoyed sigh, feeling his eyelids start to droop. "Can you at least tell me what the second step entails, first?"
"Gladly." She agreed. "It involves you training to actually harness the essence of your newfound domain for yourself."
"Sounds-" Another yawn broke through. "-simple enough."
"It sounds simple yes. In practise though, it'll take a lot of effort and concentration over the course of quite a while to be able to pull upon the essence of your domain to any decent capacity. This part alone has taken years for some to accomplish, let alone the step that comes after."
Years? Please… he'd have this down pat in a few months at most. He was more than used to putting in the work in training when needed, and this still didn't sound too dissimilar to what he'd done for attaining his god ki way back when. He was confident of that.
"Guess I'll go back to the cave then and sleep this off." He said, almost yawning a third time as he made to walk off.
"You don't have to go all the way back there. You could just sleep on top of me, if you want."
"Huh!?" Beerus almost stumbled off his feet with that, his head whipping back around with an aghast expression. "What!?"
"My now, what's with that look?" Gaea tilted her head with an innocent looking expression of her own. "It was a perfectly reasonable suggestion."
Perfectly reasonable his ass! "Absolutely not! Stop messing around!"
"Messing around?" She quirked a brow. "Whatever do you mean? I was merely offering you a more immediate place to have a nap. There's nothing wrong with that."
Nothing wrong? Did this woman have a screw loose? "Don't play dumb." He pointed at her accusingly. "You know exactly what I mean, and the answer is no." He had no idea what she thought she was playing at, but he was not about to play to that tune any time soon! "I'd rather sleep on the ground, thank you very much."
Gaea made a face at him following that, one of disbelief that quickly morphed into a funny one, like she was trying to hold in a laugh. She soon had to bring her fist up and cough into it, in order to actually stop herself from doing so. "Uhm, Beerus? I think you've forgotten something here…"
"Eh?" Beerus watched the buxom primordial, following as she pointed to the ground first, before then pointing at herself with a very amused look on her face.
About a moment later, in his tired mind, the cogs started turning. The reason why dawned on him then. And once it did, he might as well have looked like he'd sucked on a sour lemon, as he facepalmed with a groan. "Oh right… you're the ground…"
"Yes. And before, I was suggesting to you that it'd be simpler to sleep here rather than trek back to the cave." She stared at him with no small amount of merriment, as she struck a pose with both hands on her hips. "Just what did you think I was proposing you to do, hmm?"
Beerus cringed. "Ugh… Never mind." He turned away, feeling a headache coming on.
"Ah. You thought I meant it that way, didn't you?" Her smile turned suggestive.
"Just let it go. Forget I said anything." He said, as he closed his eyes and pinched the ridge of his nose in exasperation.
"My, how presumptive of you, Beerus." And the teasing tone was back full force. Suffocatingly so. "I must say though, the idea isn't bad. It might even be fun, actually."
"Stop." He groaned again, hating where this had gone.
Gaea laughed at his expense heartily. "Oh, alright. I'll let you off this time. You go and have your rest then. We'll start up again as soon as you've slept that off."
"Uhuh." Beerus began his trek back to the cave. Not wanting to sleep near, on, or whatever with Gaea.
"Just so you know though, Beerus." Gaea called out to his retreating form voice full of humour as he made the mistake of glancing back. "If you ever do want to, you need but only ask." She winked. "You never know, after all. You might get lucky."
Beerus could only scream internally, as he walked off with a wince. Even though he knew she was more than likely just joking with him, at least he hoped she was, that was still something he mentally couldn't fathom ever doing.
Just… No…
A few days later…
"Demeter dear, what's the matter?"
Demeter glanced up at the concerned face of her mother by her side, as she kneeled on both knees. "Oh, it's nothing mother."
"Nothing?" Rhea frowned sternly. "Demeter don't lie to me. I've been watching you all this entire time, and I can see you've been getting distracted more since we started." She glanced out over the terrain, at each of her children. Watching as her other daughters and sons under her wing sat in a similar position spread out from one another but looked far more relaxed and focused than the blonde-haired fledgling goddess did. "I'm beginning to grow a little worried that you'll continue to lag behind the rest of your siblings at the rate you're going."
Beerus wasn't the only one making progress. Under Rhea's guidance, each one of his siblings he'd once been imprisoned with were making decent strides towards harnessing their own innate powers. They'd all already tapped into the power they all held within, and were well on their way to bringing it out to the fore, moving just as fast, unbeknownst to them, as he had back in the stomach, due to her diligence thus far in showing them the way to go about it.
Everyone… except for Demeter, who hadn't quite tapped into hers yet.
"Well… it's just…" The daughter looked away with some bit of embarrassment. "I don't know…"
"Is it me?" The mother thumbed her chest, looking ready to take the blame. "Were my instructions not clear enough for you? I can make them more so if you need me to."
"It's not that." She shook her head somewhat dismally, giving a smile that seemed almost lackadaisical were it not for the hint of frustration in her olive-brown eyes. "What you told us to do is fine, it's just… I don't think I'm all that good at focusing on something for very long."
"Hmm. I see." The Titaness nodded understandingly. "So, it's a case where your mind tends to wander off its own?"
"Uhm… yeah… hehe…" She chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly as the mother hit the nail on the head. "I've sort of been like this from the start. Ask anyone here about it, I'm sure they'll let you know how absent-minded I can be. I'm sorry."
Rhea sighed. This could be a real problem if not nipped in the bud asap. "Don't be sorry, my child. It's okay. Now that I know the issue here, I should be able to come up with something to help you catch up."
"Okay." Demeter nodded, looking apologetic all the same.
Hmm… Now what to do about this… Rhea crossed her arms as she went into thought. Let's see here… She looked around, as though searching for some bit of inspiration. A critical eye out for anything that might strike an idea in her mind.
Perhaps she could go further out east of the Isle and ask Metis her opinion? She'd grown up with many, many siblings herself from her own brother Oceanus and sister Tethys union, so it was possible she might have seen this before and had some idea of how to deal with it.
Then again, there was also a chance that she wouldn't simply because of how many brothers and sisters she had. There were so many that even Metis herself had admitted in one of their private conversations to struggling to remember even just the names of some of them. Then again, the fact that she even could remember them all at all was impressive, seeing as there had to be thousands of them at this point.
There was also the fact that she was currently focused on helping her youngest son train himself quite attentively, from what little she'd gleamed the last few days. All seemingly to help him be properly prepared for his spar with his eldest brother once she deemed him ready to go.
Speaking of him,a smile graced her features, as she looked forward towards where said older brother was training in the distance. Hmm, I know this is a little soon, but perhaps he might have an answer…
"Wait here, Demeter. I'll be back in a moment." She said, gaining another nod from her second oldest daughter before her body lit up. A golden glow permeating throughout her entire form, before she vanished in an instant from her side, leaving nothing but particles behind.
Meanwhile, over with Beerus again, he let out a huff as he stood with his knees bent. Hands balled into fists by his sides as he glared down the stocky dummy that Gaea had fashioned for him to help with his next step. One made purely out of clay with remarkably detailed features and imbued with the goddess' divine magic.
"Remember Beerus, you need to really focus on this. Harnessing the essence of your domain is a tricky thing at first." Gaea spoke sagely from several paces behind him. Her arms folded once again under her ginormous breasts and squishing their bountiful flesh up slightly as she watched him with an observant eye. "You need to be in true harmony with it to pull it in any way to your will. Don't treat it like it's just some powerup, young one. It's a part of you now, intertwined with your very being. You must not think of yourself as a separate thing to it. That it'll just be something you have sway over, because it isn't. Your thoughts must be that you are synonymous with it. One and the same, for your very existence is tied to the idea of destruction now. You won't simply be a destroyer. You'll be destruction itself given physical form!"
"I'm aware." He called back, having heard her say that not long after they'd begun this particular bit of training. One that sounded oh so simple in theory. All he had to do, was pull upon a decent amount of his domain's essence and use it to completely eradicate the dummy. Leaving behind not even the tiniest trace of its existence.
He'd initially held the rather silly notion that such a thing could be done with just his standard power, given it was above that of anyone else, and he'd smashed his way out of Kronos' castle single-handedly. Something which he'd found out was bound and enforced by the combined power of said Titan and his merry band of morons.
Pure arrogance on his part, which Gaea had, even to his surprise, crushed rather quickly. All by simply telling him not long after making it, that he was free to test that out if he was so confident.
Though he hadn't said it, his impression of his current teacher had shot up quite a good deal once he'd gone to do exactly that. Unlike everything else he'd struck so far in this world it hadn't just withstood every blow he'd thrown at it. It had done so without so much as budging or even taking a single scratch of damage to his amazement. The dummy's durability had held up easily and unflinchingly, even against his strongest blows.
The fact that she could actually conjure up something like this so casually as well, just cemented in his mind even more that she was the best suited to teach him.
Getting back to brass tacks though, Beerus closed his eyes as he focused inward. Not simply on the power he'd been naturally born with, but on the essence of destruction now inexorably tied to his being. He breathed in, then out. Delving into the deepest recesses of his own soul and attempting to call upon even just a sliver of the divine domain's essence. Once he felt like he had a grasp on it, he threw a hand forward in an eerily familiar way to how he'd done so for his patented Hakai technique back in his previous life, Directing it right at the dummy, as he put all his effort into enforcing his will upon it for annihilation.
And just like all his other previous attempts thus far, he got absolutely nothing for it. No matter how much he pushed for it. Not even a sliver of his new domain responded to his call, and despite what Gaea had told him about the length of time it might take, he still found himself somewhat frustrated at not having even a teensy bit of progress with it.
He didn't let it get to him too much though. He'd been told this would be difficult going in, so it would've been stupid to expect this to a breeze. All he could do, was just keep trying until he finally got somewhere with it.
Just then, a flash of light appeared just behind him, and he instantly felt his new mother's presence there as the light started to dissipate.
"Ah, Rhea." Gaea smiled indulgently. "To what do we owe the pleasure?"
The mother of seven smiled back at her own, though somewhat apologetically. "I'm sorry to interrupt whatever training you're currently having him do." By this point, Beerus had turned his head to glance back at her curiously. "If you and him wouldn't mind, I'd like to have his assistance for a moment."
"By all means. I don't mind." Gaea acquiesced, before glancing to him. "It's up to him though. What say you, Beerus? Care to be a good son and help out your mother?"
"Oh, give over." Beerus just rolled his eyes again, as he turned around fully to meet his mother's gaze. "I'm getting nowhere at the minute with this, so I might as well. Who and what's the problem? Is it Hera?"
"No. It's not Hera." Rhea shook her head. "She appears to be doing the best so far alongside Hestia, actually."
She was? Damn, and here he thought he might end up messing with her for that uppity attitude earlier. Give him some amusement for the day to counterbalance the annoyance he currently felt.
"It's still early going yet though, and Hades and Poseidon are keeping good pace with them too, so things may just change when we get to the more physical side of things." She added on just so he knew, and as they'd agreed prior to him informing them.
"I see."
"Don't mind him, dear daughter. He probably just wants an excuse to go back and flirt with her some more." Gaea threw in there playfully. "You saw how he was with her a few days ago. Something's bound to happen with those two soon enough at the rate they're going."
Beerus's temple creased, eye twitching as he contained his aggravation. "Ignore her. It appears she's gone a bit senile in her old age."
Mother Earth's eyes narrowed. "Ah, I think I struck a nerve there. Someone doesn't like the truth getting out, it seems."
"You know damn well it's not. Now zip it, woman!" Beerus all but ordered, pointing at her accusingly before making a zipping motion with his finger and thumb in case she didn't get the memo. In that moment, he could almost feel Whis giggling along to that remark of hers from dimensions apart, as she let out her own small bout of it at his expense once more.
Of all the things she could've had in common with his old master and friend, one of them just had to be a liking for teasing him. Good fucking grief…
"Getting back on topic now." He said mainly to his mother, as he tuned Gaea out. "You didn't mention Demeter there, so I'm just gonna assume it's something to do with her?"
"That's right." She nodded, inwardly amused by her own mother's teasing of him. "She's struggling to concentrate properly like the others and tap into her power. By her own admission, she appears to have a problem focusing on one thing for very long. Since you've been around her longer than me, I thought you might have an idea how to help her with that."
"Sure. No problem." He had no clue how to help with that. If he had to choose between that and listening to Gaea's insipid teasing right now though, he'd pick the former any day of the week. "Take me to her then. I'll see what I can do."
"Thank you." She reached out and grabbed his shoulder with a motherly smile. "I'm sure she'll be happy to see her big brother come to her aid."
"Yeah, yeah…"
Meanwhile…
Far out from the Isle of Crete, high up in the heavens themselves, a golden streak flew through the sky at blinding speeds, carving a shining ray of mesmerising light across where it went.
Upon closer inspection, for those whose eyes were capable of perceiving something so impossibly fast, they'd be able to make out a golden chariot being drawn along by several white horses that glowed with the same ethereal aura as the chariot itself. Their eyes glowing with an ominous light inherited from the master that held their rains.
"This is quite the conundrum we're facing right now, huh?" One of the chariot's inhabitants said in a rather cold, matter-of-fact tone, propping an elbow on the vehicle's side and resting the side of their face on their hand, as it whizzed through the sky.
It was a woman, and one of stupendously startling beauty with dark hair pulled back into a ponytail reaching the middle of her back, and shockingly pale skin that almost glimmered under the sun's rays. She wore a simple blue and white tunic that hugged her slim, curvaceous figure nicely and only reached down to her knees, where one slender, but shapely leg was hooked over the other. Her lithe arms completely bare, with a small window formed around her chest, exposing some of her ample C-cup cleavage which occasionally jostled about inside her tunic from the movement of the chariot. Her face held a small button nose and full, pinkish lips. Her cheekbones were high and sharp like a razor, with a short and narrow jaw to go with a small chin, followed by a high forehead to rival Hera's and wideset eyes set a deep, shimmering blue to outdo even the most magnificent of gems.
"Hmph. You could say that again." The other resident, and the one controlling the chariot's course said in agreement. "This was certainly an unexpected turn of events, I must say."
"That's putting it lightly, Hyperion." The woman replied cooly, eying the rapidly passing terrain far below them. "I could scarcely believe my ears when I heard of what happened in that throne room with you and our brothers. To think, some uppity new god without a domain to his name would be capable of all that."
"He's not just an uppity new god, Theia. He's Lord Kronos' own son, and he's incredibly strong for one who is but a fledgling. He made a complete fool of Atlas in his normal state after blowing a hole out of our brother's gut, and then shattered his way out of our abode, taking a chunk of Mount Othrys with him." Hyperion stated astutely, whilst sat comfortably in his seat as he surveyed the world below with a critical gaze. His body exuding heavenly light that cascaded all around him and shone like a bright star high above. "If he's already capable of that, then I can only imagine what he may be able to do if he was able to ascend like us."
Theia, his sister-wife hummed in agreement. "Which is exactly why he sent us out first. To find him and the rest of his children long before he can do that. Or they can for that matter. Nip the problem in the bud as soon as possible."
"Precisely." The barely clothed Titan turned to her for a moment with a wicked grin. "Wherever they're hiding, we'll find them soon enough. And once we do, I'll be sure to personally bring that troublesome brat to Lord Kronos' feet, and end this so-called war he started on us in no time at all."
Well, he had actually been ordered by his brother to simply scout out for their whereabouts and then report back to him should he find where they were, so that he could set up the plan to wipe them out with all of them together.
Personally however, Hyperion didn't see a need for such a show of force like that. That level of combined might seemed too excessive for what they were currently dealing with. He personally felt he alone was enough to deal with this problem head-on. Theia being with him alone in his mind was already overkill.
His grip on the reins tightened as he thought back to that little bastard's arrogant final words to them, all before he and his little group made their exit. The utter gall he'd had to proclaim that he'd not only destroy Kronos, but would also have him, his brothers, and his nephew all grovelling at his heels like pathetic dogs.
It'd been a long time since he'd felt anger like this bubbling up. Not since the days of their father's rule had he felt such vitriol for another.
He couldn't wait to find that little shit and show him just how much he'd lucked out the first time. He wasn't going to hold back, not after he'd insulted him and his brothers with that last remark of his. As soon as he saw him, he was going into his True Divine Form immediately and showing him what real power looked like.
Once I wipe the floor with you, I'll savour every moment we get back to Mount Othrys and Kronos cuts you to ribbons the same way he did to our father. Mark my words, little man… His eyes lit up with a divine flare as he turned his gaze forward and whipped the reins on his stallions, beckoning them on. Your days are numbered.
AND CUT!
This was supposed to be out on the 11th about two plus days ago, due to family related stuff and other things in real life. I would've had the chapter done by that day, but something pretty stupid happened to me. My laptop decided to update itself whilst I had it closed, which wouldn't have been a problem, except for the fact that closed and then reopened all my apps. Apparently, unbeknownst to me, the autosave feature for Word must've stopped working at some point and I never noticed, because when I brought the chapter back up, I'd lost over 50% of the progress I'd made, and couldn't get it back.
You can imagine I wasn't too happy about that. And since I couldn't quite remember what I'd written, I had to redo it again. You'll notice that the montage isn't exactly in this chapter, and that's the reason. Once I ended up passed the Beerus chunk again, which I'm certain is more bulky than it was the first time, I literally blocked out mentally and couldn't think of how to write the montage like I'd been doing. The chapter would've been about 15-16K with the rate I was going had that not happened. Consider this as a part one to the training arc of sorts, focusing mainly on Beerus. The next chapter will focus more so on the others and will have their stuff extended from what it would've been for the sake of fairness, to go along with the spar that Beerus and Zeus are going to have as well. Along with another surprise near the end of the chapter, which should bring it to about the length of this one, maybe more.
Hope you guys are okay with that. Sorry about this anyways folks, but the good news is, the next chapter will be coming out in a week from now at most, as I'll be launching right into it as soon as I can.
As for what I turned this chapter into, I hope you all got some bit of enjoyment out of it at least. We've got some nice set up for the next chapter's stuff that I think you'll enjoy, and the future looming threat of Hyperion on the prowl with Theia at his side. A bit that wouldn't have been in the original, but I thought added a nice cliff-hanger for some future stuff.
Hope the explanation for domains and such in this chapter wasn't too clunky. I'm not sure I worded it perfectly, so I'll let you guys let me know if I did okay on that front.
Also, yeah, did any of you expect Beerus's first domain to be anything but destruction? That was a given, and anyone who thought it wasn't, well… have you watched DBS?
Anyways, again, hope you enjoyed this to some degree, and I'll see you all in the next chapter.
