Hi, everyone! I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.

Let's start with the story, shall we?*

Chapter 42

Mizuki let out a sigh as she sat back in her chair, the last period finally coming to an end. They were merciless, throwing them under the loads and loads of work. It was understandable, though, since their exams laid ahead of them and they had a week that they spent at the internship.

She rubbed her tired eyes, her brain also feeling like mush after working the entire day. She had a few admin things to sort out and she had an idea it would only be a matter of time until her class representative duties caught up to her.

"Ah, I can just melt away with the ground…" Ochaco said and nearly slid off her chair to become one with the ground, Iida exclaiming in worry. Izuku had gone off already, having an important errand to run.

She caught sight of Eijiro who was staring intently at his empty wooden desk. It looked like it was going to catch fire merely under the stare. What on earth was this male thinking about? Moreover, what could make him have such a serious facial expression?

She recalled the scene in the changing rooms and shook her head with a frown. He was streaming happiness even after that. Could it be the pressure of the classes catching up to him? Maybe she needed to talk to the teachers about the workload-

"Mizuki!" The ash blonde female jumped in her chair, crimson eyes wide and a silent yelp escaping her lips. Eijiro had jumped up in his chair and walked towards her, his gaze not calming down and caused her to swallow thickly.

Her mind whirled with unanswered questions as she thought of possible reasons behind his behaviour. Did she do something? Did someone say something unnecessary? Was he overthinking something? Was it about the reward she promised him?

"W-What's up, Red?" Mizuki asked with a weak smirk, cursing at her stutter. She felt him swallow her up in his gaze, her heart beating rapidly in her chest. The last time she saw a glimpse of this was the sports festival and her face heated up at the thought.

It was one of her secrets that she didn't dare to tell anyone. She would never tell anyone that this Eijiro was the most attractive. She could feel her nervousness grow and resisted to fidget, scolding herself at her reaction.

The tension between the two was high, everyone in the classroom feeling it. They hoped that he would speak to break it, but he said nothing. He merely stared at the ash blonde female who was also left without words.

"Hey, Mineta," Kaminari whispered rather loudly as he called the bandaged male. The mummified smaller male leaned in to hear what the blonde said. "I spy with my eye something that begins with an 'S'."

"Is it sexual ten-Gah!" Mineta was cut off by a merciless hit from Tsuyu's tongue. Tears streamed down the side of his face at the pain and his partner also received a hit, leaving the two quiet. They were honestly up to no good.

Wah! What am I doing! I want to ask her out! I've only been thinking about it but it wasn't very manly so I want to ask her directly. Eijiro freaked out on the inside. If she keeps starting at me like that, I'll die! He thought, her innocently flushed face looking up at him with big eyes.

"I wanted to hear if you-""Let's go," Katsuki cut off Eijiro's question, the male left blankly gaping in the middle of his sentence. His statement was directed towards his sister, the female glancing at her brother. He stood up, his bag slung over his shoulder and his crimson eyes blazing brightly.

"Just wait a minute, Red wanted to ask me something. I'll meet you outside," Mizuki told the male, his gaze not easing. She suddenly had an uncontrollable urge to go with him come over her and her mouth ran dry.

It was a first.

Mizuki let out a sigh, and ruffled her hair. "Fine, I'm coming!" Mizuki grumbled out, standing up and taking her bag. He wasn't taking 'no' for an answer and she couldn't let go of the instinctive need to go with him.

"Sorry, Red. You can call me, okay?" Mizuki said, giving him a warm and apologetic smile. She walked around her desk and gave him a peck on his cheek, the male flushing. "That's for doing your best today." She gave him a single wink and ran off after her brother.

"Well done, Man!" Sero called and slung an arm over the redhead's shoulder. "You actually got a smooch! And what was with that tension back there?!" Eijiro felt like the happiest man in the world for one single moment before letting his head fall in defeat.

"Huh? What's wrong?"

Eijiro let out a sigh and shook his head, quick to put a smile on his face. "Nothing. I just wanted to ask her about schoolwork," he said with a light laugh that didn't match his eyes. He rubbed his cheek sheepishly, being pulled slightly by Sero as the male praised him.

It was a lie. He wanted to ask her out. He had tickets inside his pocket that he wanted to give her. He wanted to ask if she would want to make time for an after-school activity. However, the opportunity was once again snatched away from him.

"I wonder what's up with Bakugou, though. He just stood up and left like that! Geez, didn't he see that you wanted to ask Mizuki something?" Kaminari stated in an annoyed tone, the redness of the hit he received earlier still shining on his cheek.

"Yeah, but we have class tomorrow too!"

"Why can't you call her?" Sero asked and Eijiro visibly froze up before laughing nervously. That was the last thing he wanted to do. He wanted to ask her out on a date face-to-face. It was what a gentleman would do.

"Hey, hey, hey, when did you even get her number? I completely missed that!" Kaminari piped in and as quick to change the subject. They held him captive as they bombarded him with questions and he only hoped that he would make it until the next day.

The twins walked next to each other, the sunset painting the sky with warm and calming colours. It was a sight that Mizuki would never get tired of. She even made notes to design an entire range of sunset clothing one day.

She enjoyed the scenery, but didn't enjoy the tension between her and her brother. He was silent next to her, his eyes glaring at the ground. He wore his usual scowl, hiding the rest of his emotions from her.

She didn't like it.

"If you have something to say, say it. You know I hate it when you give me the silent treatment," Mizuki told her brother, the ash blonde male not reacting at her words. Her brows knitted together and a deep frown came onto her lips.

"While I spent my time at my useless internship, you went ahead and developed a new technique," Katsuki said and her eyes briefly widened. She had an idea that it was about what happened in Hero Basic Training.

He recalled the conversation he had with Best Jeanist. He asked him why his sister was less ferocious than he was. It had been a simple answer. Mizuki was occupied by everything else except being number one. That was until today.

"Don't you think that is what you're lacking… You've grown accustomed to your sister's presence and didn't concern yourself with matters that seemed insignificant. It has blinded you to miss a few fundamental elements…"

Was that why she was passing him? Was he stuck with the past and it was letting him get behind? He didn't understand it at all! He didn't understand why she wouldn't merely stay by his side and be content with that? Why?

"Katsuki, I realized something at my internship," Mizuki spoke up, crimson eyes travelling towards his sister who was staring at the sky. "If I continue to do things half-heartedly then I would only bring shame to be your twin."

His eyes widened at her words, his wind briefly knocked out. Mizuki's eyes quivered and a faint smile came onto her lips. "You hate it to be sentimental and when I talk about mushy stuff, but I want you to know that you're stuck with me for life. I won't be leaving your side. You won't get rid of me that easily," Mizuki said, finally looking at him.

She heard him. That moment he raged, she overheard what he said through their connection. The uneasiness showed in her eyes but it was overwhelmed by the warmth and comfort. He could feel the calmness that washed over him, his panic subsiding.

She had been overthinking everything and noticed what she was doing wrong. "Nothing changes, if nothing changes." He could hear Best Jeanist's words echo in his head and looked down at the ground.

What was it that needed to change? Mizuki was working hard because she didn't want to shame him. He did the same, right? Izuku flashed in his thoughts and he scowled. What did that idiot nerd have anything to do with it?!

"Yeah, I hate it so shut up already," Katsuki cut her and his confusing thoughts off. Mizuki let out a light snicker next to him. She ruffled his hair, the male growing and slapping her hand away in annoyance. Yet, he couldn't stop the small smile that flashed on his lips.

She wasn't running away from him. She was still by his side. She was keeping her eyes on him. It was reassuring and it was all that mattered. He would make sure that she kept her eyes on him only and that no shitty nerd was in the equation.

As for Eijiro, he approved of him…for now.

"Well, I'm heading off for a run when we get back home. I feel like I haven't seen my route in ages! I missed the view in the city," Mizuki spoke as she let out a breath. Katsuki rolled his eyes at her dramatic behaviour.

"Whatever. Make sure you're not late for dinner or I'll come and personally drag your ass back." Mizuki was about to retort and he gave her a single look. "You dwindle like an idiot when you get caught up in running. Don't even try to deny it," he said and Mizuki pouted.

"You're just jealous because you're too much of a scowling, pissed off boy who can't appreciate nature," she told the male, veins popping out from underneath his skin and his face flushing as he fumed.

"What did you say, you damn Fabric Conditioner?! I'll kill you!" Katsuki went to snatch her, but Mizuki was already rushing off. "Come back here! Mizuki! I'll blow your ass up!" He snapped at her, running after her.

Mizuki turned and gave him a wink. "My explosive ass, right?" She countered and had the male stop abruptly. He flushed in embarrassment and anger as he recalled what was said about his sister. Mizuki, on the other hand, burst out laughing.

"It's not funny! Stop laughing! I'll kill you!"

Later on…

Mizuki's body felt refreshed from the nostalgic pathway she ran on. The wind was nostalgic and the scenery deeply imprinted in her memory. Her muscles relaxed and tensed as she jogged, the sensation calming.

It was something she currently needed to ease her nerves. She had a small backpack with her that contained a familiar jacket. It was the truth behind her jog. In all honesty, she would've rather stayed home on the first day after being overwhelmed with work.

However, she had more pressing matters to attend to. If it was anyone else involved in this mess, she would've left it all where it was. She wouldn't dare to interfere. Yet, this was her best friend. It was bound to start to affect her as well.

She casually offered to give back the scruffy, blonde hair male his jacket at her usual running spot. It was the best plan she could think of to get him alone. She could only hope that Izuku wasn't going to join him. She highly doubted it, then again, Izuku was one of the most unpredictable people she knew.

There were a lot of unanswered questions that lingered in her mind and despite wanting an answer from each and every single one of them, decided only to ask one. It was the most important and vital one of all.

She already knew there was a connection between Toshinori Yagi and All Might. The way they spoke was similar and they both appeared around the same time in Izuku's life. They were both connected to U.A. and it made her wonder if they were, perhaps, blood related.

Either way, something didn't sit right with her and she knew it had to do with the conversation she had with Akira. Someone was giving these Nomu creatures Quirks and the chances were definite that Izuku received his. Whether it was from the same person, she wouldn't know.

"You said that Izuku suddenly had a Quirk all of the sudden, a power Quirk that didn't match any of his parent's descriptions… There's someone out there who's able to give Quirks and there's no doubt that Izuku was one of those who was on the receiving end…"

Mizuki could feel a bitter taste enter her mouth as she once again felt overcome with negative emotions. She slowed her pace, crimson eyes narrowing onto the ground and the glancing up to catch sight of a blonde hair male standing by a railing as he stared at the ocean view.

"Toshinori-san."

He glanced her way when he heard her voice and smiled. "Ah, Young Mizuki, I was wondering if I was waiting at the right spot for a moment!" He said and laughed. "I'm glad to see that you're still keeping yourself in shape!"

Mizuki caught her breath and smirked as she held out her chest proudly. "Of course! I can't have my brother or Izu-kun gain the lead on me!" Mizuki replied and the male let out a chuckle. Even though their conversation was light, the atmosphere had a peculiar tension.

"I was surprised when Young Midoriya told me you wanted to give me back my jacket. It wasn't necessary to go through all this effort," Toshinori said as Mizuki took off her backpack, taking out a neatly folded leather jacket.

"Don't worry about it. I washed it and made sure to steam out the wrinkles. I made sure not to wash it with the same washing powder as my brother's, seeing as a male shouldn't smell like peaches," Mizuki pointed out as she handed the jacket over.

"It really wasn't necessary to go that far, but thank you. I appreciate it," he said, the material comfortable and soft underneath her grasp. She washed it better than the dry cleaners had washed it before.

"Like I said, don't worry about it. I owed you a favour for lending it to me that night, it's the least I could do. Besides, I'm grateful that you still keep an eye out for Izu-kun," Mizuki said, keeping her tone of voice level and observed the male from the corner of her eye.

"Yes, I assumed that you didn't come all the way here just to return my jacket. It's about the sports festival, isn't it? I apologize for not telling you sooner. You see, I-""I don't care." The male was left halfway with his excuse, his index finger in the air as he stood still.

He watched Mizuki, confusion gleaming in his eyes. She…didn't care…? The way Izuku spoke to him didn't make it seem that way. She had been observing them closer than they expected and caught on little signs of their activities. It was concerning.

That was why he decided to go along and meet up with the ash blonde female after he had his talk with the green haired boy. He hated that he had to cover it up, but it was too dangerous if Mizuki found out the truth.

"You're right about one thing. I didn't come here to have a nice chitchat and to catch up with everything that's currently going on. After all, you already know about everything." His eyes widened at his words and he felt his mouth run dry.

Mizuki turned fully towards him, her facial expression serious and held a hidden threat. Her crimson eyes were narrowed, her plush lips turned down into a deep frown. He could feel the intimidating pressure of her gaze and frowned. Something was coming.

"Toshinori Yagi, are you part of the League of Villains?"

The question was simple, but the impact was immeasurable. A light breeze brushed passed them, the duo's hair ruffling. The severity of her question was high and by the way she stared had the hair standing up at the back of the male's neck.

His eyes were wide in shock and he was completely dumbstruck. She thought that he was part of the League of Villains? Wait, what? Why did she think that? What could possibly lead her towards that conclusion?

"You're not denying it so I take it-""W-Wait! Wait, Young Mizuki! I'm not!" Toshinori countered, waving his arms in front of his face. "I'm definitely not a part of them! What made you think that?" He asked, Mizuki's eyes twitching.

"Then, if you're not the spy in U.A. then who the hell are you?" Mizuki snapped at the male, her impatience growing. He was shocked. Spy? She was talking about what happened at USJ…yet, he still didn't know how he was connected to it all.

"I'm a personal train-""Don't screw with me!" Mizuki cut him off, sparks appearing all over her body and he frowned deeply. She was out for answers and wasn't budging. "I accepted that fat lie once. I won't be so nice as to do it again."

"I'm not letting you go until you convince me that you're not part of anything that can put my best friend in danger. You're going to swear to me that Izu-kun isn't dragged into any mess. You're going to put your life on your words and assure me that my best friend is safe!" Mizuki yelled.

Ah, she knew something. He wasn't certain what she knew, but she was aware of something. He had a bad feeling residing in the pit of his stomach. The fact that she was aware of something made his concern increase tenfold.

"Young Mizuki… I don't know what it is that made you come to such a conclusion. I promise on my life that I am not part of any villainous groups or acts. Young Midoriya also isn't part of any such things, I can assure you that," he said, Mizuki's brows twitching as crimson eyes searched for lies.

Unfortunately, he couldn't assure her that her best friend wasn't dragged into a mess. Izuku was part of something enormous that he, despite being up for the challenge, didn't realize the truth of the danger.

"I promise that I will put my life on the line to keep Young Midoriya safe and that I will guide him on the right path as far as I can," Toshinori stated in a sincere tone. His eyes showed no lies and his words weren't empty.

Mizuki wanted to believe him. She wanted to, but found that a part of her couldn't. She assumed that it was because her emotional connection. Mizuki let out a shaky breath and clenched her fist by her side.

"If I find out that you lied to me, I will end you." Mizuki made a lot of empty threats of killing people, but this time it was different. Toshinori could tell that she was willing and capable to go as far as to murder someone for Izuku and the thought was truly frightening.

"I understand." He didn't have anything to add, knowing that it was better not to ask about what she knew. It was of great importance that he knew where she came across the information but for now, he needed to gain her approval.

He could only hope that what he assumed she knew, wasn't because of unwanted and villainous activities. She wasn't aware of it, but she was a target for the League of Villains. He was going to have to confirm that they weren't in contact with her.

"Good. Then I'll be going." Mizuki turned to leave, the male alerted at her sudden calmness. She stood still, not moving as she went to speak for the last time. "Izuku deserved it more than anyone else out there so you better made sure that you deserve him."

Mizuki was off without another word, leaving the male starstruck at her words. She knew?! How?! How could she have possibly found out?! He knew Izuku hadn't told her…could it have been Young Bakugou? No, he didn't take those words seriously…or did he?

That Night…

Mizuki felt like a ton of weight was taken off her shoulders as she returned home. He gave her assurance, not as much as she had hoped, but enough to keep her calm and at bay for a while. She could only hope that it stayed that way.

She still trusted that Izuku will tell her everything when the time was right. He would put the last places of the puzzle pieces together. His multi-connection between All Might, Toshinori and the strengthening Quirk would all come to light eventually even if it was a secret for now.

When Mizuki's house came into view, a pair of crimson eyes locked onto a pair of identical orbs. Katsuki was waiting for her outside of the gate, arms crossed over his chest as he leaned against the wall, wearing his usual scowl.

He actually waited for me. She chuckled at her hopeless brother through her breathlessness. Small trails of sweat cascaded down the side of her face, her heart beating loudly in her chest from the exercise.

Katsuki huffed as his sister came to a halt by the gate. "I can't believe that you're actually on time. Was the scenery boring this time?" He asked, Mizuki giving him a weak glare as she tried to catch her breath. She exhaled and calmed down her heartbeat.

"Not as boring as your face."

"HAH?! You wanna go, Mizuki?! I'll show you boring!" He yelled angrily at her remark. Mizuki gave him a look that spelled out her unimpressed response and it only added to the male's agitation, his glare intensifying.

"Whatever. What's the real reason you're standing out here?" Mizuki asked, the male briefly holding onto his anger before huffing. He crossed his arms over his chest and looked away and had his sister smirking.

"Mom send you, didn't she?"

"Shut up! That old hag didn't do shit!" He countered, Mizuki's expression turning smug. He realized that he blurted out that he done it on his own intentions and his face slowly started to colour red at his embarrassment.

"You know, sometimes you're too gullible, Little Brother," Mizuki teased and gave him a mocking pat on his shoulder. It only added to his anger, the male's body trembling beneath her hand. He was about to snap at her until he noticed her staring expression.

He followed her eyes, crimson orbs narrowing when he saw a little girl standing on the sidewalk. Her pink hair was put up in pigtails, her green dress hanging down her small frame and a teddy bear was strongly gripped in her hands.

"Do you think she's lost?" Mizuki asked, all teasing and smugness gone without a trace. The little girl kept looking around, eyes big as she took in everything around her. She sniffed, her grip on her stuffed animal tightening.

"Hah? This time of the night in the middle of nowhere? Don't be ridicules. Why would she be lost here of all places?" Katsuki asked and felt his sister's concern wash over him. He watched as her eyes quivered and let his shoulders slump.

"Go hear what her problem is already."

Mizuki gave him a look filled with gratefulness and walked off, her twin walking behind her with pocketed hands. He didn't like it. He didn't like kids and he didn't like it when his sister needed to help one.

"Hey," Mizuki spoke up, the girl jumping at the voice. The ash blonde stopped dead in her tracks, fear flashing in the girl's eyes. She gave her a kind and warm smile. "Sorry for scaring you. I'm Mizuki and this is my brother, Katsuki." The ash blonde teenager scoffed angrily at his introduction.

"We live next door. We were heading inside when I saw you out here. Are you alright? What are you doing here all by yourself?" Mizuki asked as she knelt to match the girl's height, but didn't shorten the distance between them and the fear-stricken female.

The girl trembled, eyes filling with tears. "I… I… I was looking for…Mommy…" She said and Mizuki's brows twitched. "She said w-whenever I-I'm l-lost I need to s-stay put u-until she c-can f-find me." The little girl sniffed, the tears threatening to fall.

"Do you know when you lost your Mommy?" She shook her head. "Do you know where your Mommy lives?" She shook her head again. "I see. What were you and your Mommy doing here before you got lost?" Mizuki asked, the girl swallowing away her tears.

"We…um….we…" She was struggling to find the words to answer and each try had Katsuki one step closer to lose his temper. Veins were starting to palpitate out of his head and then his arms, his eyes twitching.

"W-We mo…moved…""Just spit it out already, brat!" Katsuki finally snapped at the little girl and then all hell broke loose. The poor girl started wailing loudly in fear of the male, Mizuki giving her brother a look of annoyance.

"Well done, genius. You made her cry." Katsuki was left to grind his teeth in frustration, her crying causing the male to start sweating bullets. Mizuki let out a sigh and moved a bit closer to the girl, putting her hand on her head.

"Sorry about the mean uncle's yelling." Katsuki was horrified at what he was called while Mizuki couldn't care less. She ruffled the girl's hair gently, the warmth that came from her hand and gaze having the girl's crying calm down a notch.

"He's really not that scary. He's more afraid of little ones like you than you are to him," Mizuki said with a small smile, her brother glaring daggers at her. "You said that you moved. Are you new in the neighborhood?" Mizuki tried to get information, the girl wiping away her tears as they fell.

The girl continued to wipe away her tears as they continued to cascade down her puffy and flushed cheeks. She gave a small grunt with a nod to answer the question. Mizuki hummed as she tried to think of a solution.

"Hey, brat, stop crying already. We'll get you home so shut up," Katsuki told the little girl and received a deadly look from his sister. The girl sniffed, wiping away the tears and looked up at him with red and swollen eyes.

"R-R-Really?" She asked, her body trembling from each sob that came forth. Katsuki's brow twitched, Mizuki watching as the girl's sobbing subsided. "B-B-But I don't…w-want y-you…w-want n-n-nice M-M-Miss…"

"What did you say, you ungrateful brat!"

"Calm down, Katsuki." Mizuki's tone was stern and blunt. The girl shook in fear at the male's temper and was near to wail again. "Just, breathe, okay? I know you don't like kids and that you don't know how to act around them. Leave it to me, alright?" She eased her brother and Katsuki clicked his tongue.

"Fine…" He said and looked back at the girl. Be nice. Be nice. He could be nice. That was possible. How on earth could he be nice? Smile. He could smile. Mizuki watched in amusement as he tried to smile at the girl and it was terrible. It only resulted in her bawling her eyes out.

Mizuki let out a sigh. Her brother tried. He honestly did, but it was too much. The colour had drained from his face and he was completely defeated by a girl, that was no older than four years old. His pride was shattered.

"Hush, little one. We'll get you to your…" Mizuki was cut off when the little girl's body started to glow and their eyes widened. Katsuki pulled his sister in attempt to get her out of the way of the Quirk but the flash of light was quicker. Then, everything went black.

By the time the light faded, the twins lay unconscious on the ground after the light faded from the girl. She sniffed, tears falling down her small cheeks before her eyes widened and she rushed over towards the twins.

It took a few before they slowly came to, the side effects wearing off. Mizuki could hear the muffled sounds of crying and felt shifting on her body. Her eyes slowly fluttered open, a small pink haired girl coming into view.

"Pl…ea…se…wa…ke…up! Plea…se…wake…up!" The ringing in Mizuki's ears slowly faded away. She sat up hesitantly, a hand reaching to her head at the pulsing. She was confused. What happened? One moment she was busy talking and then…

"Shit, what the hell?" Katsuki woke up next to her, the male also in a daze after what happened. His eyes snapped wide as he looked at his sister and then the little girl. Her Quirk. She used her Quirk on them-!

"S-Sorry! I-It was an accident! I-I won't do it again! I promise!" The girl was in angst as she apologized. Mizuki shook her head, her mind still foggy from what happened. She gave the girl a reassuring smile.

"It's okay," Mizuki said, finding it difficult to speak for some reason. "You have a Quirk? What type of Quirk do you have?" The girl was surprised to find that they weren't going to scold her and even Katsuki was silent.

"I-I s-switch s-stuff." The twins gave her perplexed expressions. They looked at each other and then where they stood. They were still on the same spot as they previously were. Did it mean that it backfired?

"Yui?" A new female voice reached their ears, a pink haired female coming into view. "Yui? Is that you?" She asked, her voice filled with panic and relief simultaneously. The girl's eyes widened, tears springing from her eyes.

"Mommy!"

"Ah, my baby girl! I've been looking all over for you! I was worried sick!" The female embraced the little girl tightly. "Don't ever walk away like that again! Don't ever let go of my hand again, okay?" She said and the girl nodded.

"I-I won't!"

Mizuki smiled warmly at the scene, her attention averted when a hand came into view. She looked at her brother who held out his hand to help her up. He helped her up, a brief smile flashing on her lips.

"T-They w-wanted t-to h-help me," the little girl, Yui, said as she pointed at the twins. The mother looked up at the teenagers, her eyes shining with gratefulness. She stood up, lifting up the little girl in her arms.

"Thank you so much."

Mizuki smiled. "We didn't do anything. She did exactly what you told her. You should be proud of your little girl," she said and the mother gave her daughter a kiss on her forehead. Katsuki fidgeted uncomfortably next to his sister.

They both gave their gratitude and gave a small bow and then walked off into the night sky, the street lights showing the way. The little girl stared at the twins, Mizuki giving her a brief wave and Katsuki looking away.

"Mean Uncle!" The little girl called and Mizuki choked. "Y-You c-can be b-brave too!" Her words had Katsuki blink, Mizuki bursting out laughing. The girl had taken everything in her little body to shout it towards her brother.

"Shut up, Mizuki! It's because you spouted nonsense!" Katsuki scolded his sister as she held her stomach. She couldn't stop laughing, tears forming in the corner of her eyes and it only made Katsuki's flush deepen.

"Can't…breathe…!"
"Stop laughing!"

Mizuki wiped away the wetness in her eyes, her laughter dying down. Her abdomen was a bit sore, crimson eyes looking at her agitated brother. She blinked and gave him a smirk as they walked off. He clicked his tongue, eyes glaring at the sky and Mizuki couldn't help what came out of her mouth.

"You can be brave too… Pfft!"
"It's not funny!"

The next morning…

The faint sound of an alarm going off ringed through the designing paradise, a groan escaping a pair of flush lips. The alarm clock was groggily switched off before sitting up in bed. The covers were thrown off, hands rubbing away the sleep that formed in crimson eyes.

It was already time to get up and prepare for school and yet it felt as if only one hour of sleep had passed. Crimson eyes blinked in irritation as they struggled to clear up the line of vision. Early mornings really were the worst.

The bathroom door was slid open and then closed. Ash blonde hair was ruffled and a sigh escaped a pair of plush lips. The tap was opened up and low warm water was splashed into the face in attempt to wake up.

A towel was grabbed next, drying the wetness from the skin. Crimson eyes peeked out from the towel, still struggling to concentrate. The towel was tossed to the side and an arm reached for the toothbrush before freezing when crimson eyes traveled downwards before widening in horror.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" BOOM!

The loud feminine voice shouting had another twin growl and roll in bed. Sleep. That was all that was wanted. Why did it have to be disturbed so early? They were going to be dead! Blown up to pieces and the buried alive!

Mitsuki and Masaru heard the loud yell and was immediately alert. They ran upstairs, leaving everything behind without a second thought. They were filled with concern as they reached the bathroom, sliding open the door.

"Mizuki! Are you alright?" Mitsuki asked not caring or the privacy and her husband looking away encase his daughter was undressed. Luckily, she wasn't. She stood there with wide eyes, filled with anger, grief and horror. Hair, clothes and everything around her was blackened from the explosion.

"Don't just come in here all of the sudden, Old Hag!" She angrily snapped at the older female, Mitsuki blinking. Masaru did the same, both of them baffled. Mizuki never, ever, called her mother 'old hag'. Only one of the twins did but it was Mizuki standing in front of them.

"Mizuki, what-?""Hey, what's with all this yelling? I could've gotten in more sleep! Do you want me to kill you?!" The ash blonde male came stomping in behind them angrily. He was fuming, a scowl plastered on his face.

The two made eye contact and glared at each other. Everything faded away as they stared, eyes slowly widening in disbelief. They looked down at themselves, the male's hands shooting towards his chest and then all hell broke loose.

"AH!"

"Can you two brats stop yelling and tell me what the hells is going on?!" Mitsuki joined the yelling, Masaru on the side, weakly holding up his hands in defense. He too was confused, but not prepared to interfere with the angry trio.

The twins pointed at each other, words falling short as only choking sounds left their mouths. They looked at each other and then their mother. The female gave them a blank expression, not understanding what they were communicating but her annoyance growing.

"He's-"
"She's-"

The confusion grew as the female twin spoke 'she's' and the male twin spoke 'he's'. It made their parents become white as the started to realize what was going on. It was the worst type of conclusion that realized.

"He's in my body!"
"She's in my body!"

"Oh no…" Masaru breathlessly spoke up, terror washing over him as his wife merely stood on the side, eyes hidden beneath ash blonde spiky hair. Mizuki was residing inside Katsuki's body and Katsuki was residing in Mizuki's body.

"You two…better explain what the hell happened after you get dressed for school! You idiots!" Mitsuki gave them each a hard knock on their heads, the twins holding the bumps that formed but what was worse was their expressions. They had to get dressed…in each other's body.

"NO!"
