Now, on with the story.

Chapter 6: Prior Outbursts

(Two Days Later)

Over the past two days, Ash and co. have been dealing with the aftermath of his announcement. Which has gone better than even he expected. Aside from the occasional fan asking for an autograph or trying to figure out who his girlfriend is, Ash and Serena have been able to enjoy their vacation as quietly as possible. Inside their hotel bedroom, Ash was asleep in his room with his Pikachu near him. "Aaaaah." Yawned Ash as he got up for the day. "Time to spend another day in Kalos with my sweetheart." Said Ash. "Pikachu." Cried Pikachu. "Let's get ready." "Pika Pika."

(Meanwhile, in the hotel Living Room.)

Serena was with her Braixen and Pancham watching a movie. Knowing that Ash was asleep longer than usual, The Sylveon-Human Hybrid began to worry about her boyfriend. However, Serena didn't notice that her eyes was being covered by a pair of hands for a split second. When the hands were removed, Serena turned around only to find her boyfriend, Ash. "Don't do that. Eon." Warned Serena playfully before giving Ash a slight nudge. "Good morning Sweetheart." Said Ash. "Good morning Ash-kun. I was beginning to wonder when you'd wake up." "Really? What time is it?" "It's currently fifteen minutes to Noon. Eon." "Fifteen minutes to Noon! How long was I asleep for?" "Several hours. I was able to heat up the leftovers from last night's dinner to make breakfast. After that, I started watching a movie with Braixen and Pancham, which is what I'm currently doing. Eon." "I See. Mind if me and Pikachu join you two?" "Of course. Come, sit down." Ash, Serena, Pikachu, Braixen, and Pancham all sat down together to finish watching the movie they were seeing, happily enjoying the time they were spending with each other.

(One Hour Later)

Ash and Serena once again met up with Clemont, Bonnie, and Korrina, this time in Shalour City. Serena marveled at the seaside views and the brick buildings. "This city is beautiful. Eon." Said Serena. "It's one of Kalos' oldest cities, dating back several centuries." Said Korrina. "Really?!" "It's true. Many of the buildings here have the records to prove it." "I remember when Ash came here to challenge the Shalour Gym. He had struggled against Korrina before, so he was thinking up various strategies to defeat her." Said Clemont. "What do you mean, Clemont? Eon?" "Ash battled Korrina twice before in unofficial battles, the first one ended with Ash losing while the second one ended in a stalemate." "I see." "That was an interesting battle, seeing Mega Lucario go berserk like that sent chills down our spine." "Ash told me about that when talking about one of his past adventures. Eon."

(Flashback, Six Months Ago, Poni Plains.)

Ash and Serena were lying down and relaxing at Poni Plains at part of their exploration of Alola. "The stars are so beautiful. Eon." Said Serena "I can think of something even more beautiful." Said Ash. "What do you think could more beautiful than the stars?" "You sweetheart." Serena then began to blush heavily. "Oh, Ash-kun. You always find a way to make my heart melt. Eon." "I'm only stating the truth sweetheart." Serena's face then shifts to a curious expression. "Ash-kun, I've been meaning to ask you a question." "What is it, sweetheart?" "Was there ever a point in your past adventures where you felt like you were scared, like to the point where you felt there no way out or that all could be lost? Eon?" "There were several moments where I was scared like that, but the scariest one occurred when I was in Kalos." "What happened?" "I was battling a close friend of mine. She used her Lucario while I used Pikachu. She had just gotten a Lucarionite and wanted to Mega Evolve him for the first time. When she did, however, things went downhill. Her Mega Lucario lost control of himself." "Lost control of himself, how would you describe it? Eon?" "It was like his instincts kicked in and overrode everything within himself. His nature, personality, and bond with his trainer seemed to be suppressed in a way that made him almost unrecognizable, it was almost as if his mind was on survival mode." "Really?!" "She desperately pleaded her Lucario to control himself, but it felt as if her words fell on deaf ears. He dashed towards Pikachu and I shielded him. Her Lucario landed a few moves on the two of us, which were some of the harshest hits we've ever experienced, in a violent frenzy. If it weren't for her grandfather's Lucario jumping in and helping us, I don't know how things would have turned out." "W-was your friend's Lucario able to control himself while Mega Evolved? E-eon?" "Yes, but it took a bit of patience and training to do so." "So it all worked out in the end?" "Yeah, we're still friends, though I haven't had time to contact many of my friends from past adventures due to my schedule. Hopefully one day, I can introduce you to all of them."

(Present Time)

"I never knew how scared Ash was during that incident. I was so focused on getting Lucario back to normal, that I missed Ash's emotions during the frenzy." Said Korrina. "I can only imagine how scary it was both of you. Eon." Said Serena. "But since then, our bond has grown tremendously. In fact, would you like me to introduce you to him, Serena?" "Of course. I would love to meet him." "Is it alright if we introduce our Pokémon to you as well, Serena?" Asked Bonnie. "That would be lovely, Bonnie. Eon." Clemont and Korrina then draw out their Pokémon from their Poké balls while Bonnie grabs Dedenne from her bag. Clemont is revealed to have a Bunnelby, Chespin, Luxray, as well as a Heliolisk, while Korrina's Lucario emerges. "It's always a pleasure to meet new friends." Clemont's Pokémon and Korrina's Lucario looked at the Sylveon-Human hybrid in shock, wondering if their eyes were deceiving them.

(Ash was about to introduce Serena to his friends' Pokémon when…)

"Hey Ash! Long time no see!" Said a voice from a distance.

Lately I've had the idea of doing a Spanish translation of "Intertwined". I have the first three chapters roughly translated, but I'll need some assistance if I am to go forward since I'm not entirely familiar with the Spanish equivalent of the names and terms for items, locations, etc. (All the Pokémon games I've played, to date, are in English). If anyone is interested in assisting, feel free to message me.
