When Misty regained consciousness.
"Guys, wake up." She said.
"Ugh what happened?" Ash asked, getting up.
"The S.S Anne sank and we were left behind." Misty replied.
"We must have been knocked unconscious when we were in the crowd." Brock said.
"Then that means we're still inside the ship." Ash said, looking out a window. "What are we going to do?"
"Don't worry, I know everything about this ship." Misty said.
"Terrific." Ash said.
"That's a relief." Brock said.
The gang pressed on with Misty leading the gang, the gang tried to find a way off the ship despite it being on the bottom of the ocean. The ship had been turned upside down and the gang was walking on the ceiling. They reached a flight of stairs, but water leaked into the ship.
"A big hole must've been left behind when we got rid of Team Rocket." Brock said.
"What do we do now?" Ash asked.
"I can use one of my Pokemon to look for a way out." Misty said as she sent out her Goldeen.
"Goldeen." Goldeen said.
"Goldeen, see if you can find us a way out of here."
"Goldeen." Goldeen nodded.
Goldeen dived under the water and looked everywhere for a way out, but she couldn't find anything.
Goldeen sighed as she returned to Misty with some bad news.
Meanwhile the gang was still waiting for Goldeen until she came up to the surface.
"There you are Goldeen." Misty said. "Any luck?"
"Goldeen." Goldeen said as she shook her head.
"Does anyone have any other ideas on how to get out of here?" Ash asked.
Misty then thought about something.
"Well." She said. "We could head up to the boiler room, but we need to find out how we're gonna climb up."
"I got it. Go Onix!" Brock said as he sent out his Onix.
"Groooar." Onix roared.
The Rock Snake Pokemon emerged from it's Poke Ball.
"Onix, we need you to give us a lift to get to the other side." Brock said as Onix nodded affirmatively.
Onix stretched his body all the way up to the door on top of the stairs. The gang ran up Onix and to the door. Brock then recalled Onix and they passed through the door.
They went past the door to a hallway which was pitch black.
"Charmander, I choose you." Ash said as he sent out his Charmander.
"Char." Charmander said.
"Charmander we need you to lead the way." He said.
"Char." Charmander nodded.
Thanks to Charmander's tail, the gang made it through the hallway to the boiler room which was on fire on the bottom.
"It must have caught on fire when the ship sank." Misty said.
"It'll be too dangerous to get to the other side, but we need to get across." Ash said. "Butterfree, I choose you."
"Free." Butterfree said.
"Use Confusion to get us to the other side." Ash ordered.
"Free." Butterfree nodded. Her eyes glowed violet and the gang was lifted through the air to the other side of the boiler room.
"Thanks Butterfree, now return." Ash said as he returned Butterfree.
"Now that we're at the ship's hull." Misty said. "We can escape from here."
The gang then felt the ship rock.
"We need to get off the ship quickly." Misty said. "Ash, have your Charmander burn a hole in the ship, then we can escape by using our Water Type Pokemon."
"Charmander, Flamethrower." Ash said.
"Char!" Charmander said as he released fire from his mouth and made a hole in the ship. When the hole was made, Ash returned Charmander before the water could hit him. "Squirtle, Magikarp I choose you."
Ash sent out his Squirtle and Magikarp.
"Seel, Goldeen, Starmie and Staryu, go." Misty said as she sent out her Starmie, Staryu, Seel and Goldeen.
"Squirt." Squirtle said.
"Karp karp." Magikarp said.
"Goldeen." Goldeen said.
"Seel." Seel said.
"Ha!" Staryu said.
"Brr." Starmie said.
With the assistance of the water Pokemon, the gang managed to escape the boat into the sea and up to the surface.
"Alright Butterfree, lead the way." Ash said as the gang pushed the raft towards shore.
"Free." Butterfree nodded.
The Water Pokemon pushed the raft to where Butterfree was leading them until they started to get tired, but Magikarp didn't give up and kept pushing. Then he glowed bluish white and evolved into a blue serpent-like Pokemon.
Ash looked it up on the Pokedex.
"Gyarados, the Atrocious Pokemon and the evolved form of Magikarp. Once it goes on a rampage, it's ferociously violent blood doesn't calm until it has burned everything down. There are records of this Pokemon's rampages lasting a whole month.

Learned moves: Bite, Thrash, Ice Fang, Twister, Dragon Rage, Hydro Pump, Aqua Tail, Hurricane and Hyper Beam."
Gyarados lifted the raft on it's back and started swimming to where Butterfree led them.
At the same time, in a place called Porta Vista, the S.S Anne's captain and Officer Jenny stared out at sea on the harbor. The rest of the trainers that were on the ship made it to safety. The captain and Officer Jenny were worried about the gang.
"Do you think they made it out alive?" The captain asked.
"I don't know." Jenny said, feeling unsure.
"We shouldn't lose hope yet." The captain said.
The captain then spotted Gyarados, Butterfree, Seel, Squirtle, Staryu, Starmie and Goldeen.
"Hm." Jenny said as she looked. "What are those Pokemon doing?"
The captain pulled out his binoculars and used them to get a closer look. Then he gasped.
"It's them!" The captain exclaimed.
The gang got closer and closer to shore.
When the gang got to land, they returned their Pokemon as the captain and Officer Jenny went towards them.
"Kids, you're alive." The captain said in relief.
"I'm glad you're okay, but we need to get you to the doctor and get checked for any serious injuries." Officer Jenny told the gang.
"Right." The gang said.
Officer Jenny took the gang to the doctor.
The gang got a check up and the results turned out to be healthy.
After the check up, the gang left the hospital and continued their journey.
