In a room resembling a luxurious library in which a bewildering number of books were stored, two men who had just entered the room were chatting.
The one who appeared to be the owner of the premises looked to be at least 50 years old. He had gray eyes, white hair and a bald spot. He was wearing a black suit with a blue tie.
The other man was rather young, he must have been at least 25 years old. He had blue eyes and a long detached red haircut that, in addition to his slender silhouette, gave him a feminine appearance from behind. He wore black pants that seemed quite supple, black shoes with white soles, and a black top, as well as a red coat with a gothic or Dieselpunk look.
"It's really a pleasure to see such young people, interested in old books." Says the owner of the place as he guides his guest to a particular part of the room.
"Oh, you know, my father was even more passionate than I was. I'm just perpetuating his legacy." Says his guest as he and the man stop in front of a book on a display under a glass bell.
This book was navy blue, the front cover is decorated with a moon surrounding the geotechnical seal, as well as a few stars. The pages seemed to be golden and able to make reflections separated by a ribbon. The back cover has gold edges and the edge had a large red jewel in the center.
"This is..." Said the young man, speechless when he saw the book.
"The passage of the Goetias. I have searched all possible information about this book for the past 20 years, but nothing. It is a unique copy." Says the owner of the place as he admires his most precious book.
"At least in this world." Murmured the young man.
" Did you say something?" Asked the owner of the place, not having heard what his guest was saying.
"Oh, it's nothing, I was thinking aloud." Said the young man as he took a book out from under his coat. "Here you are. If you wish, I'll exchange it for this book. Everyone who read it thought it was the best book they had ever read. Some of them didn't even think about going to eat because it was so exciting for them." He said as he placed the book in the hands of the owner of the place.
"I'm sorry, but I will never exchange this book. It is the jewel in my collection." Politely refused the owner of the place, wanting to return the book the young man had just given him.
"In this case, keep it as a memento of our meeting." Said the young man, insisting that the other person keep the book he had given him.
"Oh, thank you." Thanked the owner of the place.
"You're welcome. May this book fill your days." Says the young man in a slightly darker tone than before, which his interlocutor did not notice.
The two collectors continued to talk about their respective collections until the young man had to leave, claiming that he had to help a friend babysit. Once evening came, the owner of the premises put on his pyjamas and went to bed with the book the young man had given him, to start reading in his bed.
4 days later, a door rose from the floor in the old man's library, it opened and the young man came out. He quickly looked around him before going to the room of the owner of the place, to find him dead. Dead from hunger, dead from dehydration, dead from lack of sleep. The most alarming detail is that even dead, his eyes, still open, were still staring at the book.
"I wish I didn't have to use this book. You should have agreed. I would have gotten the book back sooner." Said the young man to the corpse as he picked up the book to close it before closing the corpse's eyes.
He then began to walk around the library shelves, taking a few books before taking the reason for his visit: the passage of the Goetias.
He then entered his door and closed it before it disappeared into the library floor.
On the other side of the door was a desk that appeared to be decorated in a manner reminiscent of late Victorian England. This desk contained just a desk, chain, sofa, chair, and bookcase running along the wall behind and to the left side of the desk.
The young man stored the books on the shelves except for the passage of the Goetias, which he put on his desk before sitting down on his chair to read the book. It took him a full day to read the whole book, but he finally had everything he wanted to know.
When he finished reading, he looked at a picture frame containing an article from The Times newspaper dated January 1, 1900 about the disappearance of a young man named Jacob Vasdiane with a picture of him below the title. And this person looked just like the young man. The article mentioned various altercations he had had with his father that would have pushed him to leave without a trace.
"If I meet you there, I will surely be happy to be able to finish you off." Said Jacob, taking the book and a white chalk.
He then opened his door to find it in a dark and deserted alley before closing it and making his door disappear into the ground. He chalked a circle with a pentagram inside it on one of the walls before making a quick digital sequence on the book and a door opened where the pentagram was drawn with a circle made of flame where the chalked circle was.
Jacob crossed the gate that closed behind him, he could see a city with a red sky covered by a pentagram like the one he had to draw to create the gate surrounding the city, he raised his hood and walked through the city until he found a girl who immediately caught his attention, a young woman.
Knowing that he went to hell, he knew that this person was a demon, but she was very beautiful.
She was a big demon, measuring her height to be 5,7 with long curly blond hair with peach-pink highlights. Her lips are black and her cheeks are red. Her eyes are black and her sclera is light yellow. Her eyelids have a contrasting pink shadow to add more depth. They also seem to be decorated with grey eye shadow. She usually wears a black bow tie, a white shirt under her bright pink tuxedo jacket, combined with eggplant colored pants with stripes at the end of the legs in the same color as her jacket, long black straps and black and white spectator shoes. At other times, she wears either a black tuxedo or a white shirt.
She was accompanied by two seemingly intimidating bodyguards.
When she noticed Jacob watching her, she turned to him and gave him a friendly smile.
"Hello, can I help you?" She asked.
