Chapter 1: The Rebel Demon Brothers

Tanjiro Kamado panted as he held his broken sword and glared at Muzan Kibitsuji. Blood poured out of his forehead and he could feel many of his bones broken.

Muzan smirked "Why don't you drop this, Tanjiro? You lost. Why don't you just join me."

Tanjiro gritted his teeth "I... will never join you... it is my duty as the Water Pillar to defeat you..."

Muzan sighed disappointed "What a shame... Guess that your sister will have to do."

Tanjiro eyes widen and he turned to the unconscious body of his sister and tsuguko, Nezuko. "Y-You wouldn't..."

Muzan smirked "It isn't like I have another option. If you don't join me, your sister will."

He walked towards them and Tanjiro swung his sword at him, and it didn't even leave a scratch on Muzan's neck. The demon grabbed his wrist and crushed it making Tanjiro scream in pain.

Muzan dropped him as Tanjiro fell on the floor in agony as he continued to walk to the unconscious girl.

"W-Wait!" Muzan stopped and turned to Tanjiro, looking with pleading eyes "I'll... I will join you... just... just leave Nezuko alone."

Muzan smiled "See? It wasn't that hard." He stabbed his finger on Tanjiro's forehead, penetrating his skull and he could feel how Muzan pumped his blood into him.

Tanjiro screamed and Nezuko managed to wake up "N-Nii-Chan!" She screamed, grabbed her katana and went to cut the demon's arm. Muzan saw it from the corner of his eye, and grabbed her by the neck, making her drop her weapon.

Tanjiro lost all his strength and dropped to the ground "Ne...Zuko..."

"Nii-Chan..." She muttered before Muzan stabbed his nail on her neck making her scream as his blood pumped into her.

*Centuries Later*

"I wanted to watch the sun rise with you, my children." They knew that their Oyakata-Sama couldn't watch the sunrise, but they get what he means.

As the pillars sat on the courtyard and got comfortable, they noticed two people walking towards them. At first, they thought it was a pair of young slayers needing something from Oyakata-Sama, or just getting lost.

But then noticing that neither of them was wearing the Demon Slayer Corp uniform and that it was too early for everyone to come here uninvited, something was wrong.

They stood up slowly and took in the looks of the two intruders, the girl, seemed to be around 16 or 17 years old, was wearing a light-pink kimono, a red and white checkered obi, wearing a brown haori over that. She looked between a combination of bored and annoyed.

The other person, seemed a bit older, between 18 and 19. He was wearing a green with black checkered haori over a white robe and black pants, also a blue scarf, with hanafuda earings. He had his hair combed so that his forehead was visible, and they could see a scar on it... a demon slayer mark? His right eye was also closed.

But their eyes put them in alert. Pink eyes with slitted iris. And a pale complexion, just like the moon.

Sanemi Shinazugawa took out his sword and pointed it at the demons "One more step and you die, demons. What are you doing here?" He demanded and the man chuckled raising his hands, the Pilars noticing that both of them carried katanas.

"We mean no harm, Wind Pillar-San. We just came to talk." The demon said and Tengen Uzui hummed.

"You are flamboyantly polite for a demon, demon boy." He pointed out making him chuckle while Kyojuro Rengoku nodded.

"Indeed! But the fact remains, that demons managed to pass the wisteria flowers! That may be dangerous for the future!" He said as he took out his sword.

"I told you this wouldn't work Nii-Chan!" The demon girl said to the boy and Obanai Iguro raised a brow. Nii-Chan? He wasn't aware demons referred to each other as family.

The demon boy sighed, taking a deep breath, and the pillars took it as he was going to attack "Thunder Breathing, First Form: Thunderclap and Flash."

In a blink, he grabbed the swords and axe from each pillar before going next to the girl and dropping them. Mitsuri Kanroji changed looks from her empty hands and all the weapons at the feet of the demon.

"See Nezuko? Now they can't attack us." The boy said to the girl that frowned.

"You just made it worse! Now they have even more reason to attack us!" Nezuko scolded him that blinked.

"Who might this two be?" Oyakata-Sama asked and the Pillars panicked. They were without their weapons, in front of two demons, one which knew some breathing form, and their Oyakata-Sama was helpless.

Sanemi grabbed a rock and was ready to throw it when both demons bowed to one knee "It is an honor to meet this generation Oyakata." The boy said.

Oyakata-Sama chuckled "Well demon-kun, would you mind handing my Pillars their weapons back? To have a chance if this is a trap."

Nezuko bowed more, her forehead touching the floor "We're sorry."

The boy stood up and using the same breathing form he handed back their weapons to the Pillars. Sanemi crushed the rock in his hand out of frustration and Muichiro Tokito didn't even notice what happened.

"Now then, do you mind telling us your names and intentions?" Oyakata-Sama asked and the boy nodded smiling.

"My name is Tanjiro Kamado and this is my sister Nezuko, Oyakata-Sama." Tanjiro introduced themselves and Tomioka Giyu narrowed his eyes.

"That's impossible." He stated "Tanjiro Kamado was the original Water Pillar."

"Ara-ara... lying is bad demon-kun." Shinobu Koucho said and that seemed to annoy Nezuko when Oyakata-Sama hummed.

"Actually; there was a chance that Tanjiro Kamado survived." He said "My father told me stories of the original pillars, from the sun pillar, to the 5 original. And how the Water Pillar was turned into a demon fighting Muzan. I am correct, Tanjiro-Kun?"

Tanjiro closed both his eyes and nodded "Sadly, you are. Fighting that man, I was turned into what I am today." He said opening both eyes and they could see what was in his left eye.

The kanji for 'Upper Rank Two'.

"That explains how they could pass the wisteria flowers..." Iguro muttered.

"An Upper Moon." Sanemi said in rage and was about to attack the demon when Oyakata-Sama spoke again.

"So, the story of my father seemed to be true after all. It is an honor to meet you Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado. Please, come in." He said offering the demon siblings to enter his home, when Sanemi interjected.

"Forgive me Oyakata-Sama, but I will prove that demons are all the same!" He cut his wrist with his sword and pointed his arm at them "Come here you beasts! Your breakfast is ready!"

Nezuko face morphed into disgust and Tanjiro lost his friendly smile and got into a neutral look "You should go to get that wound healed. You may had cut a vein and you may bleed out because of that. Excuse us." Tanjiro walked pass a surprised Sanemi as both demon siblings walked into the house followed by their Oyakata-Sama.

Uzui turned to Giyu who looked at the ground in thought. "So, you know something about demon boy?"

"Urokodaki told me that the original Water Pillar died in combat and that his technique were saved by the scrolls he had." Giyu explained and the pillars nodded as they watched the sunrise.
