"GET BACK YOU SAVAGES!"
Megamind said pointing his gun at all of the cheering citizens. Roxanne quickly came to stop him from shooting anyone and explained,
"Sorry! He's not used to positive feedback!"
Keeping his aim he replied, "Positive feedback? Roxanne these people are attacking!"
She quickly jumped in front of him and said,
"They just want to congratulate you and THANK you for saving them and the city..."
Roxanne sees he's still confused "Maybe some autographs, handshakes, pictures, hugs?"
Megamind lowered his weapon and now looked VERY confused
"Auto-graphs? Pictures? Why would I shake my hands?"
He shook his hands by his head dramatically pathetic to show his misunderstanding. Roxanne giggled then lifted up her hand and went to grab his hand to show him how to shake hands.
"Like this" She said nicely with a sweet smile. He still looked puzzled but enjoyed holding her hand.
"And hugs too?" he asked hopeful that she would then hug him also. But instead she turned to his side still holding his hand and said "Yes, now smile and say 'your welcome' to all of your new fans"
He put the De-gun into his holster and looked at the people curiously wondering what they were about to do. Then a man came up and grabbed his hand faster than he could react and started shaking it rigorously.
"Thank you! Thank you Megamind! You've saved my family and our home! We are forever greatful!"
Megamind looked at Roxanne wishing she could just telepathically tell him what he is supposed to say but instead she just nods in the direction of the man as if to say "go on". He turned to the man and with my best efforts said
"You are very... well... comb"
He said then nodded as if to approve himself for definitely saying it correctly. The man looked a bit confused but happy all the same and moved out of the way for the next overly joyous citizen to express their gratitude. A woman walks up to Megamind and starts going on about how thankful she is when Roxanne turns to see Megamind looking weary and light headed.
"Megamind?" She asked ignoring the fact she just interuppted the woman.
"Hm? What?" Megamind said looking off into space dreary eyed. "Stars? Roxanne why is the sun going down so fast?"
He said as he slowly started falling towards the ground. Roxanne got in position to try and support him to stand while trying to keep him awake.
"Megamind! No don't-"
He fell completely unconscious dragging Roxanne down with him. They both ended up on their backs with Roxanne's arm behind his on the pavement surrounded by people. "Megamind!"
Roxanne said getting her arm from out underneath him and trying to wake him back up.
"Megamind!"
She looked at his pale complexion and then looked up around at all the people "AMBULENCE! IS THERE AN AMBULANCE?" She yelled out to everyone. They all scattered looking for help. Roxanne looked back down at Megamind frantically thinking of what to do. "No, hospital is no good. He's an alien, they wouldn't know what to do! Or would they? Ugh I don't know! This isn't the sort of thing you talk about when someone kidnaps you."
She thought out loud to herself trying to think of a logical way to go about this situation. Then the light bulb went off. She looked over at the fountain and saw a little girl talking with Minion! Then she looked at Megamind, not wanting to leave him but she knew he sadly wasn't going anywhere. She stood up and ran to Minion.
"MINION!" She yelled out just before she got to the fountain.
"Miss Ritchi? Is everything ok?" Minion said curiously, he was obviously too far to see through the enormous crowd about what had happened.
"No. Megamind passed out. We need to take him to the hospital or wherever you take him when Metroman beats him up! Where does he go for medical attention?" She said as fast as she could not wanting to waste another millisecond.
"The prison! There's a doctor at the prison who has all of his medical details on file!"
Roxanne was happy to be told what she now realizes she should've put together.
"Of course! He grew up there! Thanks Minion!" Roxanne started leaving when Minion called out.
"Miss Ritchi! Please don't leave me here!"
Roxanne turned around and started thinking quickly on how she could take Minion with her. She didn't see anything except some cups but none big enough to hold Minion. Then she thought of the De-gun, might be extreme but she can't just leave him there. She rushed back over to the fountain to explain to Minion her plan, "I'm going to get Megamind's De-gun and dehydrate you-"
"Miss Ritchi-"
"It'll be ok, I'm sure they'll have a bowl or something at the prison, alright?"
Minion gave a slight uneasy nod and she bolted over to Megaminds lying body. She took his De-gun and ran back over to the fountain where she picked up Minion in her hand and shot him with the gun. She put the little glowing blue cube in her pocket and rushed back over to Megamind when she saw an ambulance coming near. The people started putting him on a gurney and Roxanne hopped into the ambulance as fast as she could.
"We need to go to Metro City's prison!" she ordered.
The people looked very confused so she continued.
"That's where he was raised! No other doctor will know how to treat him!"
They agreed and informed the driver.
