Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures

To defeat Horus and his fellow traitors wouldn't be easy. While the Emperor answered Horus' open challenge at Istvaan III by dispatching seven of his sons to deal with their errant brothers, the Imperium dispatched a battle group of the best forces on hand at the time to deal a blow to the traitors by attacking a Dark Mechanicus Forge World. The Dark Gods have other plans.

First things first, hope you're all well and that the pandemic hasn't caused too much havoc.

Just a quick notice that I thought I'd put up to say two things. One, a big thank you to all of you who supported this story when it was extremely rough and frankly difficult to read. I like to think recent changes have alleviated that mostly. That, however, brings me to the second issue at hand; that I will be pulling all the chapters of Desperate Measures for a re-write.

Fact is that I've been working on the lore for the Saturnyne Rams and this group in particular for the last several years on and off. Things have changed a lot since I've started writing it, and I've come to the realization that it's best for me to just pull everything down, re-work in and put it back up.

No, this does not mean this'll turn into an Imperium marches in and murders everything fic. I don't want to be rude, or aggressive, but if you really understand Warhammer lore you'll understand why it's in reality very nuanced (yes, even Rogue Trader in its own wacky, unique way, was). I won't argue and defend myself any longer, if you liked this thus far, you'll like the rewrite. If you didn't, it's not going to change. I'd recommend a better use of your time than leaving an angry, mocking or otherwise less than conciliatory review here.
