There was a tense air between the Guild as they took in the sight of Izuku standing next to Nedzu. It took their collective willpower to not let their shock be known to the rat.
There was a tense silence in the room as each person stood back.
It was only broken by Eraserhead and Vlad Queen coming into the room. The former almost walking right back out while the latter just grew confused.
"Ah, now that everyone is here we can begin our afternoon plan." Nedzu spoke up. "What the hell are they doing here?" Eraserhead quipped. "We've come to the agreement that for one afternoon they'll fight against your first year classes." The rat explained to them. "That's what was in the letter" Eraserhead muttered to herself.
"Why yes; so could the two of you take your classes to Ground Beta while I talk with the Guild about their plan?" He asked. The two nodded and walked out.
The tense silence was broken. The Guild turned back to the rat principal. "So, what would you like to talk about first?" Nedzu asked.
The classes of 1a and 1b were gathered at the entrance for Ground Beta. The two glasses engaged in strange pondering as to why they had been gathered today. Monoma was insulting class 1a like usual, while Kendo tried to keep her on a leash. There was an air of mystery on what they were to do; the most popular being battle simulations like with All Might teacher.
Only Ochako and Mina knew the truth. There were few times where both first year classes would be called to he same grounds. The annoyance of Eraserhead's face was the most obvious sign of what was to come.
The Guild was here, and they'll be fighting them.
Midoriya stood next to Nedzu as class 1a and 1b trickled into Ground Beta. The Guild were chatting in the background (read trying to stealthfully ask Owl what the fuck is going on). When the students caught sight of him there was a mix of shock and friendly greetings thrown his way. Only for their expressions to change entirely to shock at the sight of the Guild in the background.
"Uh Sensei, why are they here?" Kendo asked. "The Rat made a deal with them." Vlad Queen answered. Some of the students became confused at this, so Ground Zero pipped in. "Your cryptid of a principal is asking us to fight you lot for the afternoon.".
When those words left his mouth, the two classes descended into a storm of questions. "Why should we believe you bunch of villains?" the half and half student was the most clear voice in it all. "Because it's happening right now." Midoriya chimed in.
Eraserhead put their chatter to an end by activating her Quirk and glaring them down.
"Alright, now that everyone's settled, you're all going to be split into teams. Do not argue if you don't like who you've been teamed up with." She began. "Each team will be fighting one member of the Guild, while this is happening I'll be analyzing all your techniques and seeing what can be improved on." Midoriya interjected. The screen flashed on as the teams were set.
Team 1: Shouko Todoroki, Momo Yaoyozoru, Sen Kaibara, and Yui Kodai.
Team 2: Ochako Uraraka, Iida Tenten, Neita Monoma, and Koisei Tsuburaba.
Team 3: Mezo Shoji, Mina Ashido, Itsuka Kendo, and Tetsu Tetsutetsu.
Team 4: Kyoka Jiro, Koji Koda, Kinoko Komori, and Ibara Shiozaki.
Team 5: Tsuyu Asui, Shihai Kuroira, and Hiryu Rin.
Team 6: Mashirao Ojiro, Kojiro Bondo, and Setsuna Tokage.
Team 7: Yuga Aoyama, Pony Tsunotori, and Nirengeki Shoda.
Team 8: Rikido Sato, Yosetsu Awase, and Reiko Yanagi.
Team 9: Mineta Minoura, Juzo Honenuki, and Jurota Shishida.
Team 10: Toru Hagakure, Togaru Kamakiri, and Manga Fukidashi.
The two classes took there places with their respective teams. It will be much harder for the teams with only three members as Eraserhead had expelled six students at the start of the year, leaving at least six teams short a person.
It was then that the screens flashed once again. The teams looked up to see just who they were faced against.
Ground Zero vs team 1 .
Owl vs team 2.
Fortress vs team 3.
Taser vs team 4.
Shadow vs team 5.
Puppet vs team 6.
Cellophane vs team 7.
Pheonix vs team 8.
Doll vs team 9.
Spinner vs team 10.
The teams turned back to the vigilantes before the first of them spoke up. "Who's... Cellophane?" Pony asked. The one that the students recognized as Stick just slapped himself in the face. "That's me, that's my new name." he clarified with an exhausted expression.
"Why do I have to fight against the only girl? I could have been pitted against one of those hot boys but instead I have to deal with Doll. Why must life be unfair?" Mineta raved to the sky while dramatically falling to her knees. Class 1a looked to Honenuki and Shishida with apologetic looks at their situation.
Then the screen flashed once more, taking their attention again.
Team 1 and Team 3.
Team 4 and Team 7.
Team 5 and Team 6.
Team 9 and Team 10.
Team 2 and Team 8.
"Sensei, why are we being set two at a time?" Kendo asked. "Becasue there's only so much time in the afternoon. Each set will have around twenty five minutes to defeat their respective 'villain' and return." Vlad Queen explained to her student.
"Also, each team will start at opposite ends of the grounds, however if one team comes across the other's villain then they can cooperate with one another." Midoriya added in.
"Stop stalling, lets get to these damn fights already!" Ground Zero shouted.
Katsuki cracked his knuckles as he primed his Blast Gauntlets and Multi-Blast Bracelets. He was more than ready to pay back that half and half bitch for calling him a villain.
He was prepared to lay a path of destruction in his wake. There will be little mercy for these fools.
after all, Nedzu asked us to play the villains. So he'll play the part of a villain.
Then he heard the speakers crackle on.
Mina, Shoji, Kendo, and Tetsu were all gathered at their entrance. There had a screen playing the fight between Fortress and Muscular. They has watched it several times already as they pondered what the best course of action should be.
Then the Speakers crackled to life.
"Hey Team 3, just letting you guys know that playing the villain isn't really my thing. I'm waiting just in front of the fifth street cafe in Ground Beta, it shouldn't be that far away." Fortress' voice spread throughout the speakers.
Ok... Maybe it will be a bit easier.
That fucking idiot...
He's unwilling to play the viallin so he's just asking them to fight them head on.
He better not die.
"Think we should we go after him?" Kaibara asked. "No, he's on the other side of Ground Beta." Momo answered. "We still have to go through the first villain." Shouko chimed in.
The group of four walked out of their entrance just as a building was destroyed several blocks away.
Kirishima just sat at one of the tables while he waited for team 3 to arrive. He was just going to fight them head on. He didn't have much planned. His Unmovable Vest and Rock Gauntlets were primed for a fist fight.
Then team 3 approached. The steel-haired girl led them while Mina and the karate girl stood on her flanks. The multi-armed girl was in the back with ears on each hand. They were approaching with caution in mind.
"Glad to see you guys are here-" he stood up and cracked his knuckles "-Lets get this over with.".
Most of them looked confused at this.
He stared back at them. "What? I said being a villain isn't my thing so I just want a head on fight." he said. The steel girl spoke up; "We were honestly expecting this to be a trick, so excuse us for being cautious.". "Ah... Well I'm not Shadow, or Ground Zero. Though it doesn't hurt to be cautious." he answered.
The steel girl charged forward with her fists raised and a battle cry. Kirishima just raised his own fists and met hers.
The plan... There wasn't much of a plan. Shouko actively refused to collaborate with the others.
The moment she saw Ground Zero she launched a massive glacier of ice. She seemed nonchalant for a moment, only to glare as the glacier was destroyed in an instance. Kaibara and Kodai followed up with a cyclone of air and an enlarged tack.
Ground Zero flew from the streets with an explosion. More ice and air shot towards him. He blasted any in his wake before landing just in front of them and blasting the ground.
Before Shouko could throw out a wall of ice the streets was blasted towards them as concrete shrapnel.
Fortress
was parrying each blow from Tetsu with an unusual grace. What he did not know was that Mina and Shoji were filling up a small pale with a more base solution. Kendo was supporting Tetsu from the back with an odd punch.
Their current plan all hinged on Tetsu holding out.
She was fighting Fortress head on; fist vs fist. Each punch was met with another punch. Every jab and strike was either blocked or countered.
Tetsu flung her fist into Fortress' face, and he did the same. She grit her teeth and tried not to flinch. Fortress didn't even hesitate to follow up with a headbutt.
"Just how tough are you?" Tetsu yelled out as she recovered. "I'm honestly not sure myself. Owl said I could take a couple hits from All Might before she brought me down, but that may just be him complimenting my Vest." Fortress answered.
"Well let's put that to the test." Tetsu claimed. "Gladly, hit me with everything you have!!".
Their fists collided once more.
Momo had set up a wheeled cannon with a large cart of supplies for Kodai to throw. Shouko had run after Ground Zero after he had blasted the ground into rubble.
The only way they could track Ground Zero was the trail of blast marks and broken ice.
By the time the three found Ground Zero once more. He had blasted Shouko through a building and turned to the others. He cackled like a demon before blasting towards him.
Momo passed Kodai two small slab of metal and she threw them up. Each of them grew in size before they struck the ground; one separating Shouko from Ground Zero while the other slammed into Ground Zero before he could strike the group.
Kaibara pushed the one slab into the other with a cyclone of air. Momo and Kodai had their eyes posed for him.
Her metal was weakening. Every clash against Fortress was one step closer to warping her steel skin. Kendo had started throwing more punches towards him in an attempt to pick up the slack.
Every hit simply bounced off him.
Then Mina and Shoji rushed towards him with the full pale. "Sorry this took long." Mina shouted before Tetsu dug her feet into the ground. Kendo jumped back as Shoji emptied the contents onto the ground.
Before he could jump Tetsu clamped one both arms around one of his. He looked around wildly as the liquid seeped beneath his feet. Before Fortress could shift his stance Kendo wrapped his other arm with her large fist. Shoji walked up and slammed the pale over his head.
As he struggled against the collective grasp and slippery ground, Mina walked up to him. Capture tape wrapped around his body and a buzzer sounded.
Tetsu slumped down as Fortress just stopped struggling. Kendo and Shoji followed after her.
"Congratulations. You guys got me, now let's head back." Fortress spoke with enthusiasm. The girls didn't argue as Shoji pulled Tetsu out of the ground.
Then a large explosion rocked the other side of Ground Beta.
They tried to trap him with what?... Metal. They didn't even consider that he could just fly out or blast threw it.
So he paid them back.
The first slab was blasted right back at them before he flew outwards. He peppered the two buildings besides the girls with his Multi-Blast Bracelets. They were desperately shielding their eyes from dust.
They didn't even notice as he two buildings collapsed and covered the street in smoke.
He flew in before their could react. He fired off both the Blast Gauntlets and Multi-Blast Bracelets at once into the three girls. They were sent flying from the sheer force alone.
Another buzzer sounded as Medi bots began running in.
The two fights were practically opposites. Fortress called them over and they fought on the streets. His defeat was done by countering his absolute defense through taking out his footing and keeping him from moving.
Ground Zero on the other hand just destroyed any attempt at offense that team 1 could muster. He destroyed their defenses while leaving little room to counter him.
Team 4 and Team 7 walked out while Taser and Cellophane took their own routes.
Team 4 were busy discussing strategy while Denki watched them from the rooftops.
He grappled across the mock city with his Grappling Hook. He and Sero had a plan for this fight. He was getting closer to the centre of Ground Beta. Sero was doing the same.
They were doing a two on seven.
Cellophane was running from rooftop to rooftop. Aoyoma and Pony were firing their Quirks every so often while Shoda followed after them.
He was going to the center of Ground Beta.
Aoyoma then fired her laser into one of the windows of a nearby building.
Team 4 were the first to arrive. Denki was sure that Sero would beat him here, but so be it.
All he could do was grapple from building to building in a never ending cycle while peppering team 4 with his Stun Gun.
Then a building collapsed and Sero swung past him.
Jiro just watched as Cellophane joined Taser on the rooftops while the two teams were now joined.
The rooftops soon became a web of tape with Taser constantly firing down on them.
They're going to need a new plan.
"So... How much longer do we have. They went in their about ten minutes ago, and they spent another ten minutes following after us?" Denki asked as he kept his eyes on the building both team had retreated into.
"There's only around five minute left. They're going to need to do something drastic or else they'll lose." Sero answered him.
Denki then changed his radio setting. "Hey Sero, do you think Jiro would accept a date with me?" he asked honestly. Sero just turned to him; "Dude, of all times? just wait and ask her out the next you see her at her mom's store.".
Whatever Denki was about to say in response was cut off by the door opening.
A small torrent of Vines covered in mushrooms flew out of the building. The other members of the team clung to the vines. They climbed to the roof and encompassed the tape web. Taser and Cellophane were fast enough to dodge the torrents vines.
Shiozaki and Kimori's combined assault was enough to start their momentum.
Shoda, Jiro, and Koda were riding the vines up towards the pair of vigilantes.
Cellophane tried to swing around the mass of vines only to be peppered with lasers and horns.
Taser tried to stop the other trio only to be pulled into the mushroom covered vines by a swarm of furry bodies.
He scream at the top of his lungs.
The other first year students just watched as the two team assaulted the vigilantes.
"THERE'S RATS IN THE VINES!!!!!" Taser shouted at the top of his lungs.
Ground Zero was just laughing at the misfortune of his teammates.
"Not what I expected, but quite creative." Midoriya muttered to himself as he jotted down more notes.
The other students just sweat dropped as the rest of the Guild shook their heads.
Taser just kept on screaming.
The D.T.M.T. activated when the rats started to pull him down. The voltage pushed them away, yet the vines just smothered the electricity.
He was being thrashed about within the vines. Then a hand reach into them and pulled him out. He couldn't see who's hand it was that pulled him out.
He only saw the tape when he was pulled entirely out of the vines. The Koda, Shoda, and Jiro had pulled him out.
He looked around to find Sero. Finding him hanging upsidedown from one of the lampposts with vines and tape covering him.
"Alright, you guys caught us. Let's head back and see what they have to say." Debki said while Sero was freed from the vines.
The walk back was quite nice.
Teams 5 and 6 walked to their respective entrances. Shadow and Puppet walked to their own entrances.
It was time for another fight.
Yeah, sorry about taking a full week to write the next chapter. Had to find the best way for who will fight who. I even made a chart at that. Also ran out of ideas for genderbent names for the rest of class 1a and 1b.If anyone can help me... Please I can't think of any genderbent names.
