Midoriya could only groan in boredom as he meandered through the house. He had no Quirk to analyze, no place to patrol, and no authority to deal with.

He's been so occupied for most of his life that he's forgotten what a break was like.

He could practically hear the taunting from Katsuki and Hitoshi when they get back from school. Not that it'll put him down, not at all.

He's totally fine.

Totally.

The old crow followed her. Gran Torino actually followed her to the Gunhead agency. She came in and talked to Gunhead and decided to join in their patrols.

She was definitely giving Shouto an odd look as well.

Honestly, she wished that Gran Torino would have waited until after internships to talk to her. There was nothing wrong with a hero going to UA to talk to a student of interest, but to the agency of another hero, that's just going too far.

She's just glad that Gunhead wasn't letting Gran give her special treatment, that would ruin her reputation with her fellow interns.

Denki sat across from Sero and Shuichi as they connected points on a small board. The mystery that Denki happened upon taking most of the time that they were now had.

The Mystery of their neighbor, Takeyama Yuu.

Otherwise known as the mystery of why Mount Lady was living in their apartment complex.

They've been using the internet to scrounge up as many points of information as they can.

They know how much she's being paid, they know her patrol schedule, her PR record... Hell, they know just how much damage she causes when she takes down a villain.

From this they've made several conclusions; She's easily making more than enough money to buy a better apartment, she only goes out between 9 AM and 7 PM (except during specialized calls), she isn't doing any sort of supermodel work but she is a 'rival' to Midnight, and she causes more property damage than the 20 heroines below her ranking combined.

All in All, absolutely nothing worth while.

They may just have to wait for Takeyama to visit again and ask her.

...

...

...

Like that'll ever happen.

Katsuki stood atop a roof with full vigilante gear on. He had taken a short break after Endeavor tried to torch him alive, now he's back.

Mitsuki didn't ground him for almost being killed by Endeavor, no matter how much Hitoshi says otherwise.

Honestly, the Guild was running out of things to do. There was little that Tokoyami could scrounge up about the League's activities, they've talen care of the Stain problem, and criminals haven't changed one bit.

Before he could ponder his boredom any more something landed on the roof behind him.

He turned to find some strange creature staring him down. Its brain was exposed while its eyes seemed to glance every which way.

It didn't take a genius to know just what he was looking at.

He was being stared down by a Noumu.

Within a fraction of a second it moved to attack him. He was just fast enough to blast a heavy explosion into its chest.

He was pushed back by the force of his blast.

The Noumu was sent tumbling down to the streets below.

He let himself calm down before he heard the sounds of he Nounu causing chaos on the streets.

He should really stop complaining about his boredom while on patrol; first Endeawhore, now a Noumu.

They were forced to leave the board behind as Katsuki's comms were blaring in alarm. Midoriya had ordered them to keep their costumes hidden close to them while he was away due to the absence of his warping Quirk.

It wasn't incredibly difficult for the three of them to get on their respective costumes and rush to the scene; finding Katsuki face to face with a Noumu.

It was explosion after explosion as Katsuki's gauntlets glowed from being sent into overdrive. The Noumu would be blown back by every shot, just to get back uo not to long after.

It was a battle of endurance as the Blast Gauntlets were getting closer and closer to melting on his arms while the Noumu just seemed to grow back from every hit.

Sero was the first to intervene, launching the blade from his gauntlet into the Noumu's heel. The piercing metal embeding itself into the monster's achilles tendon and forcing it to kneel.

Shuichi followed this up by slicing off the Noumu's arms. Then Denki gave it a dose of his Stun Gun on overdrive. The Noumu could only screech as its wounds were cauterized by the heat while its mucles froze up.

Katsuki just groaned while letting his arms sag to the side. The streets around him were rubble, littered with blast marks and burnt debris. "Thank Fuck, I was about to burn my fucking arms off trying to stop this fucker." he exclaimed.

Denki just nodded as Sero wrapped his arms in the tape and helped Katsuki up. "I'm just glad we got here before that happened, you wouldn't be the same feral ass if you didn't your arms." Sero responded while delicately removing the Gauntlets and wrapping them in tape.

While this was happening Denki and Shuichi were keeping their eyes and items aimed right at the Noumu. Said beast was still and smoldering, its arms left as stumps and its eyes burnt up.

As the super heated gauntlets were removed from Katsuki's arms he looked around the destroyed street. He was barely twenty feet away from the building he had knocked the Noumu off, yet the entire street was almost destroyed.

It's amazing, when you see just how dangerous your powers can be.

Not that this was his most destructive battle, no, this battle was his most damaging. He had run himself ragged and his arms were almost burnt off by the now useless gauntlets.

He could hear the police sirens and the tell tale signs of Pro Heroes entering the scene. The others dragged him away as some of the pros gave chase while others surrounded the Noumu.

They got lucky as most of the pros only pursued for a few blocks.

The Workshop was a chaotic mess as Melissa and Mei tried to make sense of the Blast Gauntlets. The items created by Midoriya do not condone to the same limitations as normal gear, but they are also far more demanding when it comes to maintenance.

Melissa and Mei couldn't just make another set either, as only Midoriya possessed the Quirk which allowed the items to function in the first place.

So, without Midoriya to build a new pair of Blast Gauntlets, Katsuki was left with just his Bracelets.

And the girls were left shuffling through his workshop notes on the Blast Gauntlet in a desperate attempt to repair the broken ones.

He put down the newspaper detailing the Noumu attack from yesterday. Across from him sat Katsuki with a solemn look on his face. He isn't going to glare at him, he isn't, he's just very disappointed.

"I did warn you Kacchan, the fact that I'm stuck home for another three days means that I can't fix them until afterwards." he spoke to his lifelong friend. "Not even going to talk about how I almost lost my arms." Katsuki shot back. "That's Auntie's job when she gets back from her latest trip, I'm just telling you your current predicament." he responded.

They were left with an awkward silence, then Midoriya spoke again. "I'm going to need to make some weapons specifically designed for those Noumu." he stated. "They're all a pain in the ass, so go for it." Katsuki responded. Midoriya just breathed in a tired breath, then he asked his friend; "What kind of weapon do you want?".

The old heroine was somewhat energetic for her age. She still gave Shouto strange looks, but she hasn't be doing anything to cause outward harm.

They were about to go on patrol, probably going to be another quiet night.

The board was back up, Takeyama still had many other mysteries to reveal. They had more snacks, a second laptop was open, and they hadn't slept since having to help Katsuki with that Noumu.

All in all, the kind of environment conspiracy theorists congregate in.

Sero and Denki were slaving away between the laptop and the board with pencils and scrap paper littered everywhere.

Shuichi had a crossed out list with theories about her presence; the theories ranging from spying on them, to her being a stingy homeowner, to even just coincidence.

Even with all this, they were no closer to the truth than before.

Maybe they were overlooking something? Maybe they just had to get that one piece of the puzzle? Why did Midoriya have to be grounded when he could be helping them with this?

Their musing were then interrupted by a knock at the door.

Denki cautiously approached while Sero followed behind him, a bat in hand. He looked through the peephole, finding the same purple haired midget from before. She had an eager and half-crazed look on her face as she waited for the door to open.

Denki turned back to Sero; "We need something heavier." he said. Shuichi ran up to them with a sledgehammer in hand. The two of the stared at the boy for a second before Sero took it in his hands, neither asking where he got it.

There were more knocks from the door, the tempo getting faster and faster than before.

Denki took his position just behind the door while Sero prepared to bash her away. Shuichi took up the bat and stood a little behind Sero.

When the door opened and the midget girl tried to run in, she was met with a heavy block of metal pushing into her chest and a bat poking her in the face. Neither boy was tactful as they pushed her away and slammed the door in her face.

None of them bothered to check on her before they locked the door, put a brace against it, and went back to their research.

How dare they, she was going to put her moves on that boy. She was going to mesmerize him with her body and she'd get a man servant out of it.

But no, she gets thrown away.

She didn't even get to see the pair who threw her out, just that they were also guys. The boiling anger of rejection was clouding her judgement as she braced her shoulder and tried to slam the door open.

Only to be met with pain as the door held strong. She was now slumped against it, rubbing her shoulder in pain. Her anger only growing worse as she tried to slam it open again.

She'll teach them a lesson the next time she sees them, that'll teach them for stopping her.

It was a strange not having the gauntlets on. He was used to the hefty weight and powerful hold they had on his arms, not the delicate and concerning feeling that he got from the Bracelets. He no longer had that buffer between the Bracelets and his hands that the Gauntlets provided.

He had to be going light, going on less patrols while he waits for the Gauntlets to be fixed.

God, if anyone outside of the Guild could see him, he'd never live it down.

Midoriya finished drawing up the newest designs for his Anti-NoumuWeapons. Each was tailor met for each patrolling member of the Guild. He even made a list of the Quirks going into each item.

From a bat capable of producing enough concussive force to destroy a building too a pair of Gauntlets that could redirect any form of energy that clashed against them.

He was going all out on these, not a spot left unturned for the sake of stopping a Noumu in their tracks.

It's honestly aggravating, to see every news outline the Hero Killer going missing. There hadn't been a killing in months yet the news refused to let it die out.

To make it worse the Guild had new members. A real interesting bunch this time; a powerful fire user, a ninja boy, and the first confirmed female member.

All she ever saw on hero news was either;

A: The Hero Killer

B: The Guild

C: Those UA brats

or

D: Some random hero.

It was pissing her off, so she'll make sure that the League of Villains will be in the news.

It was over, he was free from the grounding.

First order of business was repairing the usual equipment. He and a set of pen clones got to work instantly, catching up to the weeks worth of lost work in only a few hours.

Mei and Melissa were thankful that Midoriya was back, his every move acting as guidance on the management of the items and the Guild.

After all was said and done, he got to work on the Anti-Noumu Weapons.

Even as the other members left for home or turned out the lights, he was working on them. He was determined that they would be finished before the next patrol. Curse his cautionary mind, but his instincts were screaming at him to finish them.

This will do it.

Around a hundred Noumu at varying stages of completion were all lined up and ready to strike. Kurogiri had numerous portals open all around a single spot.

She couldn't strike against the Hero Killer, UA had upgraded their anti-warper defenses, and some no name hero getting killed by a hundred fucking Noumu would just be stupid.

This single spot was the new normal patrol route of the Guild.

She was laughing with malice and glee as the Noumus stormed their way through the portals.

That's another wrap.

Sorry this chapter is so short, I wanted to make it longer but it was difficult making the right kind of filler for inbetween Midoriya's return and the Mass Noumu attack.

Anyway, wish you all a good day. See you next chapter.
