Chapter 21: Jamal, The Great Teacher!

Jamal POV

"Ugh, this dance is so hard Jamal!"

"It isn't the easiest, that's one thing we can agree on. But I still have to wonder why I have to fuse with the short stack!" Asia mentions

"Aw, common guys! You guys fused would be impossible to beat!" I spoke

"I don't think so…besides, what would even be so powerful about us?" Jessica questions

I invited Jessica over today to learn the fusion dance. While we were out fighting crime, a stray came along with its brother or something. So, we attacked them with our own tag team. We won, but it wasn't very fun. I wanted to fuse but I don't think different genders can fuse, and she didn't know it either. That's when I came up with the idea to teach her and Asia how to fuse so if a situation comes.

We are in the back yard of my house and it's a very calming atmosphere. For the past 4 months, it hasn't been a single big fight. But there have been small fights here and there, but none of them have been to the expense of my life or others. Maybe some of the strays have tried to kill me, but they haven't been very hard to kill. When I first became a devil, I could've beat them, I think.

So here I am in this situation and where I have to teach 2 girls who don't rather enjoy each other, a difficult weird-looking dance in my backyard. Well, it's better than the usual death fight, that's for sure!

"It's less about what would be powerful, and more about the compatibility. Me and Kenji fuse because we trained together, and are close friends. Our powers are opposite though. He's Ice and I'm fire. But they mix well because of how close we are, to begin with. Like if I and vali fused it might be stronger than Kenjal just because of how serious our rivalry is."

The two girls lose their frown and look towards each other. But Jessica's face scrunches up as she shouts.

"That doesn't answer anything!"

"It kind of does. Think about it. Asia has the ability of a dragon tamer, and she has high compatibility with dragons. So, when it comes to you, it should only boost ya'lls power even higher. Asia is also extremely proficient in almost all types of devil magic and normal magic. Her ability to build power through being around me should work with you also because you are a dragon. It might not work to nearly the same strength, but it should work."

Asia stands there and creates a flame in her hand, then uses her other hands to create water. Jessica looks at her hands in bewilderment at the diversity of her magic. Jessica then steels her face and speaks.

"I understand. What you said does have some merit to it I guess…"

"See, with you guys fused, y'all would just keep getting stronger as you fight, thanks to Asia's ability to absorb dragon energy."

Asia smirks and looks at Jessica with a smug face, then she says.

"Seems like I'm the one who's generating all the power short stack!"

"You're like 4 inches taller than me bimbo!"

They are about to get to swinging until I split them up with a flame wall. It leaves as soon as it comes.

"Not correct Asia. While you are the reason the fusion will keep growing in strength, without Jessica, the fusion wouldn't have much raw power. Jessica has a lot of raw power, and her physical strength is much more potent than her magic. But you, are basically all magic so that makes this fusion powerful in both."

They both look at each other one last time before they sigh. Asia frowns and asks.

"Fine, so how do you do the stupid dance again?"

"Great question!"

I put my fingers to my head and right before I teleport to Kenji, I pause that thought

There are many people I could fuse with. My top 3 choices are Vali, Riser, and Sairaorg.

I and riser have officially called a truce and have become decent friends after I almost killed him Infront of the whole underworld. Since his little sister is set to be in my peerage when I become a high-class devil, I thought it would be good to finally reconcile with him over our fight.

When I came up to him in his room, he had pictures of dragons crossed out and a few of them burned at the top. When he looked at my face he screamed and shot an extremely powerful torrent of flames towards me. If it was anyone else, it would have severely burned them. But all I did was just eat it and pat my belly.

When he realized it was me, he blasted off against me. He had some pretty good moves in there, to be honest. His power has grown so much in only just a bit over a year. He almost got a good hit on me, but I quickly raised my energy and blasted him through the window out into the front lawn.

If I had to put a placement on his power right now…I'd say he is a little weaker than me when I fought kokabiel. That much of a jump from the last time I fought him is insane. When I landed in front of him, we just started talking about our life to this point. He finally calmed down and just talked to me. Turns out the underworld doesn't know my age. Weird to think about.

I explained how old I truly am to him. I'm truly 18 at this point. There's a lot that goes into me being 18 but being the second year in high school. I sat down next to the riser and explained my timeline starting from my entrance to japan to me now.

I came here and I was 16. I was held back as a younger kid, which made me 16 as a freshman in America. I was put in 8th grade here for some untold reason. I moved here in January of last year and was learning with the 1st years already. But then I went into the 4 months of training and came back into the new semester. And I had become the first year. I fought riser and then fought kokabiel later on. Then summer break comes and we stay in the underworld for 3 months and come back during September. And here we are 6 months later in April of my 2nd year.

All of this makes me 18. As I spent that time in the makeshift world (1 Year ad 6 months) and I 6 months passed after that, making my physical age 18 but this makes me in the world to everyone else 17. My birthday recently passed in the few months also. It's November 23rd if you didn't know!

But after we talked about my age, he decided to get back to his peerage work. He hasn't had a single rating game or any of that kind of devil work from the time he lost to the present day. He had been just sitting around and training from the looks of it. We then talked about my upcoming peerage.

Sirzechs doesn't have an idea of when or how soon I will be getting it. He keeps trying to convince the old heads who are the top devils to give me my high class, but they keep going on and on about how I am not a true devil anymore and how I'm not even in a peerage. Well, I still have some devil blood. I just gave my spot up to my more worthy friend issei.

I think if I get one more big fight against a well-known enemy, it might give me the push I need to become a high-class. For now, I only have Kira, Asia, and Ravel in my peerage, but that all right there is already a very powerful set of players.

But back to the people, I need to fuse with…

I could choose vali, But I think Vali is on vacation in Hawaii. He always said he wanted to dance with the ladies down there because they had big butts. I never expected vali to have an ass fetish but, to each their own.

That only leaves me with Sairaorg.

He is a special man. His strength is immense right now. Ever since I've unlocked his Ki, he has been hard at work to increase it. I sometimes go to train with him, to test his power, and each time I do it, his power rises and multiplies. He says he's looking for a transformation to multiply his power, but I don't think they have transformations…But I have heard of Sirzechs having one.

If I also had to put a placement on his power. I'd tell him at his max is about as strong as I was when I first entered the makeshift world. That sort of jump in power from where he was to now in 6 months is nothing to ever be heard of in devil terms. If I knew how powerful Sirzechs was for sure, then I'd say he was the strongest devil. But Sirzech's full power is a complete mystery to everyone. I doubt he's even close to my full power, but he could have some serious power in him.

I make up my mind and decide not to teleport to anyone. I'd rather not disrupt their perfectly calm Sunday with my foolish antics.

I just show them how to do it multiple times with my multi-form technique. It works well for this sort of situation.

The girls try it out multiple times but get it wrong every single time. Until 3 hours later there's a bright flash with 2 bodies forming into one. With the flashing dying down, the figure Is seen from the light.

A 5'2 blonde headed girl comes out of the light. She has a blueish greenish eye. Being that she has Jessica and Asia in her mix, she has larger breasts than the two, while also being quite lean but with a slim muscle build.

But her magical energy is through the roof. I've not felt much energy that can radiate like this. She is easily the most gifted person with magic in the city right now. Maybe even the world.

She crosses her arms under her breast and smirks. Points towards me and shouts.

"Now, the fusion of Asia and Jessica is in your presence. I suggest you bow down babe!"

Well since Asia is my girlfriend and Jessica has a massive crush on me, I guess it makes sense that she takes the chance to call me babe.

"So ladies, What's the new name?"

"I was thinking something like…Jiren!"

"That's not even close to your name dummies!"

"Oh yeah…how about Asica?"

"Oh…that's actually a pretty good name!"

"I know I know! The great Asica is the best at making names!"

Well, I see he got Asia's overbearing confidence. And Jessica's ability to come up with things on the fly. Which in the end equals out to an annoying ass girl.

"I wonder how much power we have though. We haven't even transformed and I can feel the power flowing through my veins! Just asking me to transform and destroy everything around us!"

"Oh no no no, this isn't how we plan to spend the next 30 minutes. How about we do this. For this first time, we will just work on understanding your power. And you'll can then test your power out further by fighting me maybe."

"I sometimes forget how smart you are Jamal! Great plan babe!"

"Yeah yeah, I know. Now before we decide to transform into something. Let's first see if we can at least use all the normal elemental magic."

The girls quickly go through each form of magic and for the last one, she makes a massive flame. Making the fire burn brightly in front of me.

"I bet you can't even get your fire to half the size of mine!"

I smirk and look at Asica. And get a fire in my belly going right before I shout.

"Oh, you're so on!"

In school, During 3rd period

"I sometimes wonder how'd you guys get so damn athletic!" Shouts Motohama

"Seriously, Even the pervert is a super athlete!" Shouted Murayama

"It's a damn shame we have to agree about issei being athletic."

We are all outside during our pe class doing some workouts. Well, the coach decided to have me lead the class for the next few weeks. Being as I am the most athletic in the whole school. I've been taking my class and 2 other classes through American football workouts. It's been tough for most of them, as they aren't built for the type of training I use to do back in America.

Being that you have the trio of me, Kenji, And Issei in one class, they are bound to see us all competing at impossible-to-see speeds. And we also have the church trio and Jessica out here competing with each other. The girls all seem to love seeing me and Kenji go at it but hate seeing Issei do anything. It's kind of funny…but also good for me because they finally stopped calling me the closet pervert and put all the pressure back on Issei and his 2 buddies.

With the class being over and us all walking back to the locker rooms. I see the perverted Trio disappear. Kenji cast a spell of invisibility and we walk behind them all the way to the small hole in the girl's locker room. But once we get there, they aren't there for some reason.

I then hear some small whispers in the locker room. Seems like they somehow got themselves into the lockers. I wonder if they are in one locker or not…

"Oh my god, it felt like Jamal was trying to freaking kill us out there!" Katase says

"I know…but my god do those boys look good doing those workouts!" Murayama shouts

"They do, even issei does. Sadly, it doesn't change the fact that he is a big pervert."

"Well pervert or not…I think he's kinda cute," Murayama mutters

Katase pauses and the rest of the girls stop their movements. I hear Asia comment.

"No way…YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON ISSEI?!"

"No! Well…Maybe…I don't know!"

"How…How could my best friend have a crush on the school pervert!"

At this point, I and Kenji are both at the hole disregarding the fact that most of them are half-naked. Kenji has to close his eyes so he won't have his wings flicker black.

"I know it sounds bad…but he's actually really nice."

Murayama Grabs her bra and puts it on right before saying.

"It was a rainy cold day in December. I was walking home in the rain with no umbrella at all. I then see issei run out of the school with an umbrella in his hands. He puts it over my head, and says 'I wouldn't want you to catch a cold!'. At first, I was disgusted, but I felt better I felt better as we kept walking towards my home. Issei has this certain warmth about him, that I just can't explain…it's like he has magic and it just warms your heart. While we were walking home, he was talking about his dreams, and he spoke so passionately about them…He even missed being with his club because he was walking with me. And when we finally got back to my house, he gave me the umbrella to keep, saying that he doesn't need it back. Then he just ran off back to the school.

The room was completely quiet until Xenovia spoke up.

"I understand what you're talking about. Being that I am in the same club as Issei, I see his kindness a lot. He might have an extreme love of the female body, but many of you just see him as the pervert, while we see him as the kind pervert, who is thoughtful and sweet." Do I smell a crush for issei coming from Xenovia?!

"I like how you kept the pervert part still there," Asia says

Asia is still fully clothed in her pe uniform, probably because she senses Issei and his buddies there. But issei knocked out those two a while ago… probably because he didn't want them hearing about the girl's feelings for him.

Asia keeps going by saying.

"While Jamal is a full package, literally, Issei is as nice as they are saying. He might have his flaws, but he is someone you can count on when the situation gets tough. That's why he's one of my good friends.

After Asia says that all the girls get their clothes on and they all file out of the locker room.

Issei comes up behind me and Kenji with the other 2 members of the trio and Asia teleports right behind us. Issei has a smile on his face. Not his perverted smile, or his ready for a battle smile. But a happy and content smile. None of us say a word, as we all walk back to class.

During class, all of the girls kept looking isseis way. We didn't hear any of the girls call out issei for the rest of the class periods or say anything negative. I don't think this made them like him anymore…but I think it made them understand him more, and maybe try to get past his large perverted outside and look as his kind inside.

At the end of the day, Murayama and Issei walk to a tree side and just talk to each other. I don't think she is gonna confess for some time, but I think she will at least try to spend more time with him. And if she ever does decide to get down with him, Rias and Akeno won't care at all seemingly…because devils don't care about that multiple partner type of shit.

With the day over, and it is the last school day of the week, I and Asia have to pack to get ready to head to America. The school takes their trip next week. I wish I could go with them on the trip, it sounds like fun!

I told my friends if there are any issues, to raise their power level as high as it can go, and I'll be there in a flash.

Let's just hope it doesn't get to that.

YOOO, I'm sorry I took so long to post this chapter. I've been super lazy since school got out. Being that I am a senior in high school now, I have lots of things on my to-do list. While also having to do American football with my school, so I've been busy. But I finally finished this chapter! This chapter is used as a buffer between seasons 3 to 4. And is used to show what has happened in the last 6 months for Jamal and friends! This is the first chapter I have made with 0 fightings in it! Crazy right?! Well, expect this to basically never happen again. The rest of the story will be filled with action and some larger plot points. I just wanted to write this as a sort of chill chapter to read as you sit down during the hot days. I hope you guys enjoyed some of the world-building I did with other characters! It was fun writing some nonaction things, but I think I'm best at writing pure action. But ya'll might say otherwise lol.
