The search to save the eggs began. They focused on the realm they were in, as they skipped the search to stop the Sorceress. The dragons split up in two groups with the Peace Keepers on the side of the two groups in case they ended up in a fight.

Nestor made sure he was with Spyro as they searched for the eggs. Trondo, Halvar and Gunnar were with them.

Sparx buzzed in hope that there would be less Rhynocs in their way. He gazed at Zoe who flew by his side.

The child nodded, "Yeah. I really want to find my siblings and go back home. It's a long adventure and I'm ready to end it," he realised that he might be in trouble, "And… Sorry again dad. Please don't punish me," he let out a nervous smile.

The green dragon sighed. He put his hand on his face before he groaned quietly. His conversation with his brother in his dream came back. He admitted, "Don't worry. I won't. You got that idea from Tomas. Still, you really put your heart as a big brother," he pocked the snout of the child with his tail and chuckled, "Anyway. You need to be a good example for them. You are their big brother and they are going to look up to you. You got so many eyes on you. A lot of pressure to be a good big brother," he waved his fingers.

The Peace Keepers chuckled when they noticed the youngling feeling the pressure on his shoulders.

Spyro looked back with conviction, "I am their best big brother with Flame," he raised his chest, "I have a lot of stories to tell them. I am a hero after all."

"Yes, you are. But I wonder what you will think if they decided to go on an adventure and you don't know where they are?" Halvar asked as he raised his finger.

The child didn't stop to consider that. He found something that distracted him from getting an answer, "I found one!" he went towards the egg.

The others joined him and smiled as they found their first egg.

Sparx sighed at the lost opportunity of a live lesson for the child.

Chapter 62: The Remaining Eggs

Meanwhile, Bruno, Astor and Zantor searched for any clues about the dark gem. They had many books put on the side and classified, so they couldn't either bring it back with them or put them back.

Zantor grumbled, "Nothing in this book either."

"We need to confirm what is a legend or not in this gem," Bruno groaned as his book wasn't important at all. He put it on the side.

Astor put another one on the side, "I wished they didn't mess up with everything, but the Sorceress didn't care for our ancestor's knowledge!" he sighed, "Still, they didn't destroy them."

"As we search, I'm curious about the history of our ancestors. Pop lived here and…" the brown dragon said nothing else.

"And how were the Beast Makers?" the mauve dragon went on.

"Yes. We saw a few misused beasts and they are incredible. Some of them can even talk. Things we cannot even do anymore," he sighed.

"I'm sure they are some books remaining here," the scholar replied. He then coughed, "Anyway, they were organised and worked in team to make giant beasts. I don't know the process, but they had a lot of books written about it and more details. They had great imaginations when it came to the beast and some of them were made to be beautiful and to amaze the female dragons. It wasn't just for defending our realm, but also in the name of art and to facilitate our lives. To go beyond what we imagine we can do," he sighed and nervously chuckled, "Just being here, so many things come back to me," he left a few tears, "So many… broken things."

None of them wanted to ask more questions and continued to search for the book they needed.

Malefor continued his search for the Sorceress from the sky. He looked around and didn't notice anything standing out. He didn't see any Rhynocs. He noticed some of the habitants were rejoicing as the Rhynocs were gone. He guessed that they all ran away after the dragons chased them. The dark purple dragon let out a small smile as those who took them away ran away like cowards. Still, it wasn't enough. He needed to find the Sorceress now.

"She will pay for everything," he repeated himself.

His search wasn't fruitful at all as he kept looking for her.

Hunter and Bianca continued their search. The day was quickly advancing as they made little progress. Hunter had a dragon egg in an improvised bag.

"And that's how Spyro saved Avalar," the cheetah concluded.

"He is a brave child to go through this," she replied.

"I know. I helped him too," he hit his chest.

"That's good. Compared to you, I was planning to steal the dragon eggs to save our realm," she sighed at her previous action.

"But you are doing your best to help us now. You forced the Sorceress to run away with her tail between her legs," Hunter smiled at her.

"I just had a chance to get her by surprise, that's all," she replied as she held her bunny ear for a few seconds. She released it.

"Do you have a little clue where she might hide. She surely has a secret place to hide or for something more… Witchy?" Hunter tried as he waved his fingers.

"I don't know where she might go. I…" Bianca thought for a while. She wondered if there was anything, "I think I might have an idea. They are some portals I never took before. One of them had no words written on it. Maybe she might use it or another one," she quickly went towards the portals and checked on them.

"What do we do once we find it?"

"We will check it out and then tell the dragons what we found," she replied.

The duo went on towards the portals. Once they were there, they searched for the right portal.

Spyro found the last egg as the day slowly came to an end, "Nestor. I found the last one," he gently pushed it as he broke the magic on it.

The green dragon grabbed it and held it on the palm of his hand. At the sighed of the green egg, his instinct kicked it. Nestor held the egg against his chest.

Gunnar chuckled, "Found your blood child?"

"Yes," he gently pat the egg. His little blood boy or blood girl was inside the warm egg right now.

Spyro remembered when Flame spoke about his blood dad, "Dad. W-What's a blood dad? Flame said he is a dragon he immediately trusted and felt safe and reassure at the moment he saw him," it tilted in his mind that it happened too once. It was a while ago, but it never left his mind.

"A blood dad is your father linked by blood. It is a way of saying that it is…" Nestor didn't know how to explain it well. They avoided big trouble with the Twister excuse Astor and Thor used. He wasn't ready to try and walk on that land mine again.

"He is a special dad. The one that made you. In the past, a blood dad was the one who raised his child with his mate, the blood mom of the child. It changed when we moved to our new home. We are all dads of every child," Trondo told the rest.

Sparx asked why he wanted to know that.

"I was curious. I never met my blood dad," Spyro replied. He was a little suspicious about who it might be now. He would check it out later.

The other dragons were a little nervous, especially Nestor.

They heard a sound and the egg was cracking.

"A-already," Nestor jumped surprise as the egg suddenly hatched. He put the egg on the ground and the dragons watched it.

"I will wait later before sending him to Dragon Realm," Zoe told them, but she was ignored. She didn't mind at all. It was a special moment they all missed while saving them.

Nestor eyes sparkled as he rested on the ground, looking at it closely.

Spyro observed it and wondered if his dads looked at him like that when he came out of his eggs. He wasn't certain. He remembered he was weak, as they told him when he came out of his eggs. Sparx saved him somehow. It was nothing impressive, but he was about to meet his sibling now. His first meeting with them.

The egg opened and a green dragon was inside of it. He was on his four legs and looked exhausted. It had features similar to Nestor, but had a little bit of blue feathers on his head.

The carpenter saw that it was a boy. His son had a little bit of his mother with the hair. He gently grabbed him. He lifted the little one and held him against his chest, "Hello little one."

The child yawned and rubbed his snout of the scales of his blood dad and closed his eyes.

"I want to see him," Spyro quietly said.

Nestor sat down and showed him, "Careful. He used everything to come out and see us."

The purple dragon looked at the child, "Hi. I'm your big brother," he jumped when the child licked his snout.

Sparx buzzed that the child already loved him.

"Of course," the youngling replied as he gently rubbed his shout at the little one.

The adults heart melted at the brotherly affection between the two.

The Sorceress was furious as she walked with her broken scepter in a cavern. She wasn't expecting to lose against those damn dragons and that treason, "I have to wait for them to regroup," she knew that Demitrious would eventually come here. Still, she had to be careful. Bianca, the witch she taught betrayed him. The Sorceress couldn't trust the general. She had to be careful.

"Well. Well. Well. What happened to you Sorceress?" someone asked her as it manifested near her.

"Sorcerer. What are you doing here?" she asked the other one in his dark cloak.

The Sorcerer chuckled, "I was coming to see how you were progressing. With my help, you were supposed to chase those dragons away and get me the Artifact," he raised his hand, "After so many centuries, I suppose you've found it."

She gulped, "No. I haven't found it. It is well hidden in a secret passage. I cannot open it no matter what I do."

"I see," he scratched his chin, "No matter. That means that the chamber is protected by powerful magic. Even with the dragons gone, that magic wouldn't go away," he turned around, "The cloak cannot be ours unless the next king claims it," he walked away.

"Wait. I need another Dark Gem to charge my magic and eliminate those dragons!" she demanded. She realised how she spell it out. She wanted to rectify it, but it was too late.

"You showed your true intention. Only for yourself and not for me. That true face of an backstabber entity," the Sorceress chuckled, "But you are of no use to me now. That face is always going against my plan. So, you won't have another one. I wish you luck. Don't die too soon," he then suddenly disappeared in a dark purple portal.

The Sorceress watched the empty space and her face turned lightly red in fury. She had been left behind by the Sorcerer, "All of this to betray me too!"

She kicked the ground to vent out her frustration and rage. She was on her own until the Rhynocs joined her. Even now, she couldn't fully trust them. They could backstab her like Bianca and the Sorcerer did. She put her hands on her face and growled loudly once again. Then, she noticed something near the river. She observed it carefully. She approached it and grabbed something. She recognised a dragon egg. She could feel the magic out of it. She smirked, "Looks like I might have a chance to make them pay," she chuckled loudly as she planned her revenge against the dragons.

AC: This is the end of this chapter.

Next: Celebration.

A portal opened by the Professor with a few friends joining them. Everyone reunited as the night approached the celebrate the defeat of the Sorceress. The dragons enjoyed a feast.
