Hey guys how are you doing?

I know that you guys want me to update more often but I don't have as much time as I used to. As an apology for all the long waiting I've put you through I will be writing a one shot story for resident evil featuring the popular Alcina Dimitrescu and her daughters. I'm sure you will like it. Plus it will give me an opportunity to test out a new writing style I've been thinking about so feedback will be appreciated and if it goes well I will be using it in the future. Enough of that for now. Enjoy the story.

Chapter 3

3 years later (July 25th 1980)

"Come on now. You shouldn't be training now." James said.

"James I'm fine. Stop being overprotective." Lily said.

"You're pregnant. You should take it easy." James said.

"Oh really? I didn't notice." Lily said.

"Lily." James said.

"I'm sorry." Lily said.

"Don't be. I just want what's best for the baby. You'll may go into labour any day now." James said.

"I know." Lily said.

After Hogwarts, James and Lily got married in 1978 and a year later in October 1979 Lily found out she was pregnant which made her and James so happy that they had a little party with their close friends in celebration. Lily had told her father after the party while the others were still asleep.

"I better go to the shop." James said.

"I'll come with you." Lily said.

"No. You stay and rest. I'll handle the shopping." James said.

Lily then groaned as she held her stomach in pain. James nearly went berserk.

"Are you ok?" James asked.

"Don't worry. Baby is just kicking." Lily said and James exhaled.

"Go on. Got get the shopping. Bathilda is coming over to visit so I'll be alright." Lily said.

"Ok." James said kissing her before he left.

As soon as he left Lily grabbed her mirror that was on her small table next to her.

"Call Dad." Lily said to the mirror.

After a few seconds Tom's face appeared.

"Hello Lilith. How are you?" Tom asked.

"I'm good." Lily said.

"The baby?" Tom asked.

"The little one has just been kicking." Lily said.

"Long as he or she is healthy." Tom said.

"Yeah. How is the war going on our side?" Lily asked.

"Ok. Gaining follower's every day." Tom said.

"Good. How's Bella and Cissy settling in?" Lily asked.

"They're good. Showing a lot of promise in their roles. Narcissa has great potential as a healer. Bella well, she has surprised. I fought her in a duel and I nearly had to use my full power." Tom said.

"I just wish I can speak to them." Lily said.

"I know but we can't tell everyone about you yet. Only when the time is right." Tom said.

Then there was a knock at the front door.

"I got to go. Love you Dad." Lily said.

"Love you too." Tom said as his face disappeared.

6 days later

Lily screamed as a baby's cry was heard.

"It's a boy." A doctor said.

Lily and James cried as the baby was wrapped in a blue blanket and was handed to James.

"Look Lily. It's our son." James said.

"I know." Lily said.

"I'll go get everyone." James said handing the baby to Lily.

James left the room and saw his Sirius, Remus and his parents.

"It's a boy." James said as his voice starting to brake.

"Congratulations son." Fleamont said.

"Can we come and see him?" Euphemia asked.

"Yeah." James said.

James and the others entered the room and the doctors left to give them privacy.

"Oh he's adorable." Euphemia said.

"I know." Lily said.

"What's his name?" Sirius asked.

"How about Harrison?" James asked.

"Harrison James Potter. I like it." Lily said.

"We can nickname him Harry." Remus said.

Harry opened his eyes for the first time revealing the same emerald green eyes Lily has.

"Look. He has your eyes Lily." James said.

"He does." Lily said.

'Dad will be happy about that.' Lily thought.

"How are you feeling Lily?" Fleamont asked.

"Tired but happy. Which is an understatement." Lily said.

"I know how you feel dear but it's all worth it." Euphemia said.

"Want to have a rest?" James asked.

"That would be nice but I want to lie with Harry for a bit." Lily said.

"No problem." James said kissing her.

As they left Fleamont pulled James to one side.

"There's something I need to tell you." Fleamont whispered.

3 hours later

"You're clear to enter sir." A woman said.

"Thank you. If you see Dumbledore, alert me immediately." Tom said.

"You can count on us sir." A man said.

"I'll make sure you're paid well." Tom said.

Tom put up a notice-me-not charm on and walked into the hospital. He went to the Lily was an entered. He saw Lily asleep and saw his grandson in a small bed next to her. Lily stirred as she woke up as she heard the door close. She saw Tom appear and put privacy charms on the door.

"Hey Dad." Lily said.

"Hello sweetheart. How are you feeling?" Tom asked.

"I'm fine. A bit worn out but I'm ok." Lily said.

"So it's boy?" Tom asked.

"Yep. We named him Harrison. We'll nickname him Harry." Lily said.

"May I?" Tom asked.

"Of course." Lily said.

Tom picked Harry up.

"Hello Harry. I'm your grandfather." Tom said.

Harry opened his eyes and saw him.

"He has the family eyes." Tom said.

"I knew you'd like that." Lily said.

"Where are the Potters?" Tom asked.

"They left to give me some rest. Should be back soon." Lily said.

"Any word from the Evans?" Tom asked.

"They said they'll try to get on the first plane from Spain. Petunia ain't coming though." Lily said.

Tom sighed.

"Just when I think she couldn't be anymore heartless towards you." Tom said.

"I know. Speaking of heartless, any word on Dumbledore?" Lily asked.

"No but you shouldn't worry about that right now. Harry is your main focus." Tom said.

"I know. Habit I guess." Lily said.

Then Lily could sense the Potters coming back.

"The Potters are coming." Lily said.

"I better go. Sorry I can't stay longer." Tom said handing Harry to her.

"Don't be. You visiting is enough." Lily said as Tom left.

1 year later (September 23rd 1981)

A couple of months after Harry was born James told everyone else who didn't know Harry was born, including Dumbledore which worried her knowing what Dumbledore has done. After Tom had learned of it he hired top witches and wizards as bodyguards but ordered them to keep out of sight.

He knew that his followers were capable of protecting her but none of them knew that Lily was his daughter as a precaution just in case one of them were captured. He has also got some information from his spy had within Dumbledore's ranks. Dumbledore had interviewed a self-proclaimed seer for the divination classes and in the middle of the interview she had made a prophecy about him and one of two children that would be born at the end of July. A child that would be Tom's downfall. He had suspicions as he knew Lily was due any day now and so was Alice Longbottom wife of Frank Longbottom who were loyal followers of his. Alice's family were killed by a man who acted on the orders of Dumbledore and Frank's uncle was killed by Dumbledore himself which Frank witnessed from his hiding spot. He was killed due to having great influence within the wizengamot so recruiting them weren't too hard thanks to Lily. He was waiting for an opportunity for turn this whole prophecy thing to his advantage. Dumbledore had told the two couples of the prophecy and they had gone under the Fidelius charm. The Longbottom's stayed at their family home while James and Lily were in a Potter home in Godric's Hollow. Right now Lily was talking to Tom about future plans.

"Just give me a preview." Lily said.

"As you know the prophecy states that I will make the child I will mark as my equal will be born at the end of this month but you and Alice also due any day now." Tom said.

"Dad. I had a contact, look up the prophecy in the department of mysteries and there is no record of the prophecy. The orb is a fake. Dumbledore made it up." Lily said.

"What?" Tom exclaimed.

"He's planning something." Lily said.

"What has the contact done with it?" Tom asked.

"Kept it there for now." Lily said.

"Good. I can still make it work." Tom said.

"How?" Lily asked.

Lily then heard footsteps on the stairs.

"Got to go." Lily whispered as she hid the mirror.

"Hey honey. Dad wants to see me so I'll be gone for a bit. I'll be taking Harry with me since Mum wants to see him." James said.

"Want me to come?" Lily asked.

"No. You stay and have a rest. After this morning you need it." James said.

Harry has woken up crying in the middle of the night and it took Lily a couple of hours to get him back to sleep but by the time she went back to bed she couldn't fall asleep.

"Thanks James." Lily said.

James smiled as gave her a quick peak on the cheek before leaving. Lily grabbed her mirror and called Tom.

"Sorry about that. James said that he was going to his parents with Harry." Lily said.

"Gives us more time to talk." Tom said.

Lily frowned as something didn't feel right. Tom noticed this.

"What is it?" Tom asked.

"It's nothing." Lily said.

"Lilith. I can see something's bothering you. You can tell me." Tom said and Lily sighed.

"I don't know what's going on with me." Lily said.

"Is it your succubus abilities?" Tom asked.

"No idea. Every day since Harry was born, the love I had for James has been slowly fading." Lily said.

"Sometimes people just grow apart." Tom said.

"No not like that. It feels like something took it away." Lily said.

"Strange. Have there been any dementors around Godric's Hollow?" Tom asked.

"No there haven't." Lily said.

"I can't tell you what's going on." Tom said.

2 hours later

James stared at a sleeping Harry as he felt his anger and sadness grow. He grabbed his wand and put up a shield and some silencing charms around Harry. He put on around the room and as he soon as he was done, he screamed. He slammed his fists against the wall. Smashing and breaking object around the room. When he finally stopped he walked to Harry and dropped to his knees and cried.

1 month later (October 31st 1981)

Lily and James sat in the living room. Harry was playing with one of his toys which floated in front of him.

"Look James. He's making the ball float again." Lily said.

"Again? That's my boy." James said.

"How many times has he done that now? 10 times?" Lily asked.

"12th. He'll be a strong lad when he grows up." James said.

"He will." Lily said.

Then James felt the wards detected an intruder. He rushed to the window and saw a figure.

"No. He's here." James said.

"Voldemort's here? How?" Lily asked.

"Peter. That fucking rat. Lily, take Harry and run. I'll hold him off." James said.

Lily grabbed Harry and ran upstairs. The door blew open and Tom entered the house.

"James Potter. It has been awhile now since we last encountered each other." Tom said.

"When I beat you in front of your death eaters." James said.

"You Potters have been known to be unbeatable unless duelling your own family members. This time will be different." Tom said.

"We'll see. Bombarda Maxima!" James shouted.

The spell sent Tom flying. He got up from the ground.

"Confringo!" Tom shouted.

"Protego!" James shouted.

The Confringo bounced of the shield back to Tom but he dodged.

"Impressive. I can see why your family has never been beaten by someone outside of your family." Tom said.

Then a chair started to float. It launched at James but he blasted it to pieces and fired the pieces at Tom and one pierced his left arm.

"Not so tough are you Voldemort? To think that so many people in the wizarding world fear you." James said.

"Never underestimate your opponent." Tom said.

The ground shook and then James' legs was encased in the ground.

"Bombard-" James was interrupted as his wand was kicked from his hand.

"Stupefy." Tom said.

The spell knocked James out and his legs were released. Lily then came down holding Harry.

"Is he dead?" Lily asked.

"No. Did you have any luck bringing him onto our side?" Tom asked.

"As much as I tried to but no. He is very devoted to Dumbledore. Although I did notice something when I tried to tell him about what Dumbledore did. It looked like he believed me but then he suddenly twitched and just like that he was believing Dumbledore was all good again. I kept having to erase his memories." Lily said.

"I suspect loyalty charms." Tom said.

Tom then scanned James and the results were not very good.

"Is it loyalty charms?" Lily asked.

"Yes but I've never seen such powerful charms. It will be impossible to remove them. I'm afraid we have no choice." Tom said.

Lily looked at James for a few seconds.

'Why aren't I sad?' Lily thought.

"Do what has to be done." Lily said walking back upstairs.

"I'm sorry James. I can't thank you enough for what you have done for my daughter and giving me a grandchild." Tom said.

Tom pointed his wand at James who had heard the conversation and what Tom just said.

'You're welcome Tom. I wish things were different but this has to be done.' James thought as he lowered his power.

"Avada Kedavra." Tom said.

The spell hit James and he was dead. Tom walked up to Harry's bedroom where Lily was placing him in his crib.

"It's done." Tom said.

Lily nodded as she put up a silencing charm around Harry's crib. Then she smashed everything in Harry's room. Tom watched as Lily created a life-sized double of her. The double was placed near the crib and Lily put her wand in the double's hand. Lily looked at Harry who was waking up.

"I'm sorry Lilith but for our plan to work he needs to stay here." Tom said and Lily cried.

"I-I know but-" Lily said.

Tom pulled her into hug.

"I know how you feel sweetheart and I don't want to leave him either but this is for the best. It's only temporary." Tom said.

Lily cried for a full minute before she turned to Harry.

"Harry. Mummy has to go away for a while. Just know that Mummy loves you more than anything in the world. I will be back for you when the time is right." Lily said kissing his forehead.

"We need to go quickly." Tom said dropping a pair of burnt robes onto the floor.

"Bye Harry. Be safe." Lily said.

As soon as they left Harry cried which broke Lily's heart even more then further they walked away.
