1: What's the point of the heroes watching the film if they're never going to learn nothing?
They are learning… slowly…
You have to keep in mind that the characters are born and raised in a society that made them learn a certain viewpoint, one that's black and white that there are heroes and villains, that heroes are their champions of good and peace while villains are those who are evil and would abuse their power to cause chaos, with most not seeing the grey where some heroes can abuse their own power for themselves and villains being people who needed help but often rejected due to who they are or what they've done in the past.
WE can see the flaws of the viewpoint because we are not raised in them, our viewpoint of heroes and villains is incredibly subjective.
After all, if you were raised to see a certain viewpoint your entire life and then watch a 2-hour length film that says that the certain viewpoint is wrong, you're not going to just agree with the film and change in a snap. It's a slow process to understand why its' wrong and the person' decision whether the viewpoint is wrong or if the film is wrong.
Keep in mind that this fanfiction can also be my own viewpoint towards how I see the MHA viewpoint and I could be wrong, there has been a fair share of people who disagree with me and my fanfic, then explain why I'm wrong in the matter with their viewpoint on how they see MHA. They are doing a similar thing to what the films do to the audience.
And that's okay because that's how opinions work.
We all are entitled to our opinions and we get to choose if we want to change our opinions, sometimes we do and most times we don't.
In conclusion to this question, they are learning, but you have to keep in mind if they want to change after the lesson, it's their decision, some can start to change in a slow process, like Midoriya's ideas of what hero he wants to be, while others would remain loyal to their viewpoint, like Aizawa ideals to what a hero should be.
People can change themselves, but people can't change others.
2: doesn't the League of Villains uses Nomus? Aren't they no different than what the Sovereigns are doing
Kinda, but mostly no. the League are just kidnapping people and turning them into monsters to act as powerful mindless soldiers, think Umbrella Nemesis and Mr X, plus I don't think all of them know about Nomus or that they don't know how to create one since most of them come from All for One's lab. They just use them.
The Sovereigns is pretty much people who advanced their reproduction evolution, making it artificial and designed a certain way. Completely different from Nomus.
Also, the League of Villains would hate the Sovereigns because of how they behave, seeing themselves as superior and too high about themselves.
A bit of a heads up, no I am not going to have Present Mic announce Mantis, she explained her powers and what she can do, it's unneeded for an announcement. If you're wondering what her quirk name would be, I would suggest 'Emotional Touch.'
00:42:27 - 00:43:11 (Song: My Sweet Lord)
Going back to the other Guardians, the audience watches as another old music plays, the scene shows the ship approaching a red and blue planet,
Jiro listened to the music, she felt very calm and happy, especially when the scene shows the surface of the place, which shows an amazing place filled with plants and tall rock structures.
"my sweet lord…"Ibara said, as she and most take in the music and the image of Ego's planet, "it's… beautiful…"
"like a long garden of beauty, ribbit," Asui said, like the image.
While many liked the music and the image, some notice how the name of the planet is 'Ego's Planet.' A sign that covers two pieces of information that were concerning, that it doesn't have a proper name and that the planet belongs to Ego.
"He's the ruler of an entire planet…" All Might muttered, not liking the idea of a world being owned by one person. Usually, that mindset comes from greedy villains who thought taking over everything would be a possible outcome. Nowadays, the idea went less. He wouldn't think Ego would do the same, since this is space, it could be possible for someone to own a planet like how one can own an island.
For now, he just takes in a sight to behold.
00:43:11 - 00:43:24
"So not a planet, like a dwarf planet?" Thirteen said.
"Still pretty big to own." Present Mic added.
00:43:24 - 00:43:45
After watching some bubbles and Drax touching one of them, making a fascinating scene that most find pretty, some notice a change of character.
"Hey, guys." Nejire said, "have you notice how much Drax is laughing in this film?"
The big three looked at each other, along with those who were close to hear her, and realise Drax's behaviour. Especially in this scene when he's laughing at the bubbles.
"Oh yeah," Mirio said, "guess he loosen up from his vengeance and just have a bit of fun."
"Even though he was a vengeance filled destroyer?" Tamaki said, "he's known for being called 'The Destroyer' in the last Guardian film."
"Well as I learned from Sir, laughter can bring joy and good in the world."
"Like slaughtering a beast and mocking someone?" Tamaki pointed out the things Drax has done.
"Some people have their own joy, I guess…"
00:43:45 - 00:44:16
Arriving at a place, they and the audience looked at a waterfall that had what looked like still fish going around in circles in a pattern. Interesting to see for most of the audience.
But most were more interesting in Gamora's question.
"That's a good point." Midoriya said, "he must be very rich and very powerful to have either of those."
Those who wanted to know Ego's deal lean closer hoping for him to answer.
00:44:16 - 00:44:34
What they didn't expect is how Ego answered the question, calling himself a Celestial.
This quickly triggered a certain girl with vine hairs, especially when Peter brought more up if Ego was a god.
Only for him to say it's a small 'g'.
"So… he's as much as a god than the Asgardians," Kurogiri said. While Midoriya quickly makes a note of Ego's answer and waited for his explanation as to why he is considered a Celestial.
00:44:34 - 00:45:19
"Wait a minute…" Mineta suddenly realizes this after hearing Ego's origins and images. "So… not only he owns the planet, but he is the planet?"
From both Mineta and hearing Ego, the audience suddenly realizes who Ego was, not just some powerful man, not even a man. An entity that started as a core and formed the land they see on Ego's planet.
"So, he is a god…" Uraraka, "for his own planet, I mean…"
"This leaves with so many questions," Midoriya said, writing a lot of stuff down, a little frightened that such an entity exists.
"Never thought there would be someone that powerful," Kirishima said.
"Then again, the previous film showed an entity that can consume worlds into a dark dimension, so anything goes really." Sero pointed out.
00:45:19 - 00:45:47
"And did all that without knowing if there's life outside his planet…" Midoriya said, finding Ego very impressive, joining the awe of the entire place and explanation.
00:45:47 - 00:45:50
From one question, the heartwarming and beautiful viewing drastically shifts when Drax asked an obvious and yet shocking question.
'Did you make a penis?'
Some girls eek from hearing Drax, many students and villains laugh at the question, some teachers smiled from the question, like Present Mic and Midnight while the rest either facepalm or sigh, but intrigue to know since it gives vital information on how Peter was made in the first place given the fact that Ego is a planet.
00:45:50 - 00:45:57
"Literal as always, huh Drax?" Toga smiled at Drax taking things seriously.
00:45:57 - 00:46:11
"Seriously!?" Uraraka said, feeling grossed out on what Drax said, "I get parents telling how they met, but how they… they…"
"Had sex?" Asui said, still a little blushed on the subject.
"Yeah… who would want to know that detail?"
"I hear you Uraraka, ribbit." Asui said, "sometimes, details are better left behind."
Meanwhile, for Midnight, she was blushing so much towards the fact that Drax's father told his son how his parents got it on that created him. she was aroused towards the idea, as she likes juicy details.
00:46:11 - 00:46:14
"No…" Momo said, a little offended when Drax said that they had hang-ups, "it's just we don't want to know more about someone's sex life or any details of their sexual activities, even as a tale…"
"Some more than others," Jiro added, looking towards Mineta who was a little grossed out with the rest of the audience.
He might be a pervert, but he doesn't want to hear about how others had sex, especially from a man.
00:46:14 - 00:46:21
"Can you please stop talking about dicks and get on with the story please!?" Mineta shouted, annoyed and uncomfortable from Ego having a penis or any detail of it.
00:46:21 - 00:46:50
His story continues, explaining how he wanted to know what it's like to be human and going out to find life.
Though, a few notice little hiccups towards the story, such as him wanting to know 'what's it's like to be human' as the reality showed that there is more than just a human being, and the little girl on the showcase ovals indicates that his first contact with life are not humans. Though could be exaggerated to showcase Peter and his friends.
00:46:50 - 00:47:34
They continue to watch, hearing more of Ego's story, as he explains how he met Peter's mother.
For some, especially the ones who love romance, they found this story very sweet, as it's a tale of an alien who wanted to know about life, eventually found love. That alone could make up a good sci-fi romance that they would certainly watch.
"Just as she said on her death bed." Mina said, recalling the sad last moments of Peter's mother, "he is like an angel…"
00:47:34 - 00:47:54
"The significance to his father side…" Midoriya said, remembering in the last Guardian film where the Nova Corp explained how Peter managed to hold the Infinity Stone without dying instantly.
And finding out that Ego is a celestial, covers so many things on that mystery.
Meanwhile for some, while they understand and find the tale interesting, they still have one obvious question.
00:47:54 - 00:48:01
"That's an interesting point." Jiro said, "if Ego really loved her, then why couldn't he just stay on Earth and raise Peter after he was born?"
"Maybe it's something to do with him being a planet." Shinso suggested, "maybe he works like a battery on a laptop, if he doesn't return to charge himself, he would most likely die."
"Then why not bring her to his planet?" Mina said, "she would have loved this place.
"Maybe it's her choice to remain on Earth." Shinso said, "I don't know, not defending Ego, just giving possible reasons."
"Are you saying that there's something bad about Ego?" Mina questions the general student.
"Heroes have to be very cautious in any situation." He defended, "you of all people should know that."
00:48:01 - 00:48:19
The scene changes to the Ravager ship, where inside, the Ravagers are going crazy, giving huge concerns towards the audience, especially when Baby Groot is locked in a birdcage and one Ravager is scaring him.
"Can't believe they're doing this to that cutie!" Hagakure said, along with the rest who love Groot, were filled with anger towards the Ravagers.
00:48:19 - 00:48:34
While the ravager drags one of their own, they saw Yondu sitting on a chair, completely emotionless.
Something that nobody would expect to see him as. In a position of defeat while madness drives around him.
Speaking of, the audience was a little worried when they place the ravager into a closed room, having a bad feeling of what they're going to do.
"No…" Mina said, "not the Alien reference…"
00:48:34 - 00:49:12
Everyone in the audience watched in horror, seeing the Ravager going out in space with no equipment, his body freezing up. Reminding them about the moment Quill saved Gamora and how he was freezing up. Except for this moment, the Ravager died in space
"A tragic way to go…" Thirteen said.
Then more horror comes on when it showed more bodies of the Ravager, like a trail.
"They must be killing off the members who were still loyal to Yondu," Dabi said.
"An unfortunate reality of mutiny." Kurogiri said, "don't give any idea…"
"Relax," Toga interrupted reassuring the warp villain, "we'll only kill him if he attacks us first."
00:49:12 - 00:49:36
"They are very ruthless," Momo said, hating what she's seeing, someone who once followed Yondu, beating him up while the remaining members are laughing.
It was an incredibly vile scene to witness.
00:49:36 - 00:49:46
However, the scene makes a complete turn when the man who's beating up Yondu claim himself as Captain saying his name.
The name itself caused confusion, eyebrow lifting and a few snickers from the audience.
"I'm sorry…" Shigaraki said, "what did he say his name was?"
00:49:46 - 00:49:59
"Taserface?" Shigaraki said, "seriously?"
The rest of the audience were also confused towards the name, granted that for the heroes, they encounter villains that have weird names like they were named on the spot
00:49:59 - 00:50:08
"How in the world is it metaphorical?" Bakugo questions the metaphor from Taserface. "is it metaphorical to how f**king ugly you look?"
Luckily for him, even Rocket questions how it's metaphorical.
00:50:08 - 00:50:22
Hearing Taserface's answer left dumbfound from the audience, even the Ravagers around their questions and try to figure out a reason to hold the answer.
"Taserface is definitely not a scary name," Sero said.
"Yeah." Denki agrees with the tape student, "it sounds more like an insult Bakugo would give to me."
"Having nicknames sounds very dumb." Toga said, "which is why I didn't give myself one." Though in the past, she did consider names, the first thing she thought of was 'Bloody Mary' named after the mirror monster and it has 'blood' in the name to reflect on her interest. But in the end, she thought it was stupid and stick to her own given name.
Overall, everyone agreed that Taserface is not a name that strikes fears.
00:50:22 - 00:50:51
Hearing Rocket insulting Taserface's name caused snickers from the students and laughter to the villains.
Aoyama however was a little embarrassed, remembering a time when he looked at a mirror while in his hero costume, seeing himself shining and twinkling, he remembered smiling and thinking to himself 'I can not stop twinkling', which ultimately made him his Hero name 'Can't Stop Twinkling' or 'CST' for short.
Though compare to his name, Taserface is much worse.
00:50:51 - 00:51:01
Hearing Rocket more, upon him saying 'Scrotum Hat'. Caused uncontrollable laughter from the audience, even most of the teachers were laughing at the name.
"Yeah… you really shouldn't go by the name Taserface, my friend…" Mr. Compress said in his laughter.
This was a funny moment, almost forgetting what happened before with the death of the Yondu loyal Ravagers, this was a good way to lighten the mood.
00:51:01 - 00:51:12
"Pretty much anything is better than being Taserface." One of the students said.
"Rocket is very brave in this scene." Spinner said, "captured and threaten with death and yet he insults someone who could kill him at any given moment."
"To be honest, if I was captured by a villain named Taserface, I would mock his name as well," Toga added.
00:51:12 - 00:51:50
"They might be ruthless mercenaries with stupid names, but at least they can cooperate with other villains," Nezu said, curious about Nebula's involvement.
"Probably would work with the Ravagers to track down the remaining Guardians." All Might said, "and 10% of the cut sounds like a win more for the Ravagers than Nebula."
00:51:50 - 00:52:02
"Like getting your skull smashed by a giant hammer." One of the students said, remembering the previous film with Ronan's introduction.
00:52:02 - 00:52:55
The following scene was Nebula's answer to Kraglin's question of what she would do with her share once the job is done.
What they didn't expect is a very surprising answer, claiming that when she kills her sister, she'll use the share to get a warship so she can put his father, Thanos, in as much pain as she did.
While most of the audience was a little shocked as Kraglin was. one person listened to what she said and in a surprise for himself, sympathies with her.
That same person looked at himself, seeing his arms, dead skin all around him, all side-effects from using his quirk, a quirk he gotten from a father he hated. He wanted a successor, someone to not just pass him but the Symbol of Peace himself. that's the only reason he was born but turned out to be a failure and discarded.
He doesn't see him as a father, he wants nothing to do with his father. And just as Nebula puts it, Dabi wants to hunt Endeavor down like a dog, tear him and his legacy apart, piece-by-piece until he knows the semblance of the pain, he endured from him every single day.
He wanted to clap hearing this, but he doesn't want to make this moment awkward and risking his identity, better to keep it to himself.
Meanwhile for Iida, after hearing Nebula's answer, he turns around to notice the flame villain looking at his hand, realizing that Nebula is no different than Dabi.
Both are vengeful and wanting to put their fathers in the same pain as they did.
Iida now worries about how this film is going to affect him, but perhaps it might be good for him. as FWM said, the film's theme is about bad parents. He wasn't sure about Ego just yet, but he can see it with the relationship between Peter and Yondu and now, Nebula wanting to make her father suffer.
00:52:55 - 00:53:16
Just like Taserface name, some snickered towards Kraglin's response, lightening up the mood with humour.
"Now the Guardians have to worry about Nebula going after them." One of the teachers brought up the one thing that comes out of the scene, knowing that she's going to show up later in the film, probably to attack her sister.
00:53:16 - 00:53:21
The scene cuts back to Peter and Ego, looking at a large statue of Peter's mother. Making most of the audience smile.
"I know the guys a planet, but having a statue of her lover is so respectable and show how much he loves her," Sero said.
"But just as Peter said before," Todoroki spoke, "if he loves her so much, why did he leave her?"
00:53:21 - 00:53:38
"Sounds a little suspicious if you think about it," the ice-hot student said, as a husband is unable to be with his love at the end of her life isn't a good look.
00:53:38 - 00:53:47
"Looks like you're right Shinso," Midoriya said the general student, who was smiling to his keen eyesight.
"Okay, so we got that one sorted," Jiro said, "but there's still a hole in his story…"
00:53:47 - 00:54:04
Peter beat the music student to it.
The answer given by Ego was a little shocking, as it angered Peter, saying that he knows what it's like to not want to live on Earth without his mother.
"I could understand Ego… but Peter… his reason is much worse…" All Might said.
"Guess that's why he never returned to Earth or wanted to go back," Iida said, "without her, neither Peter and Ego would see a point going to Earth."
"One who knows death is afraid, one who seen death are broken…" Tokoyami stated.
This conversation was getting worse by the second, those who see Ego as a good person needs to say something that could cheer Peter up and ask for forgiveness for his mistake.
00:54:04 - 00:54:25
With what Ego said, hearing on how he made many mistakes and Peter isn't one of them, that he plead for him to prove that he can be the father Peter's mother wanted him to be. It came a nice touching moment, showing that Ego wants to be with Peter and want to be his dad.
The only ones who aren't buying Ego's forgiveness were the Todorokis.
"No… I don't see it." Shoto muttered.
"A father who isn't there when she needed the most should burn," Dabi muttered as well.
00:54:25 - 00:54:41
Ego changing the subject, it perked Midoriya's interest, hinting that Peter is connected to the planet, just as Ego is. He gets his notes ready, having a feeling that due to peter having Ego's genes, he might have similar celestial powers.
00:54:41 - 00:55:15
The following scene shows Ego teaching Peter to use his powers, the teachers were intrigued, giving good points on how he's showing Peter how to do something by himself.
And when blue power appears out of Peter's hands, making some of the students jump, it became a confirmation of what he can do.
"He has Ego's planet powers…" Hagakure pointed out, "I… think…"
"I believe he has," Midoriya said, writing an interesting thing about Peter and Ego and what they can do.
Meanwhile for the Todorokis, Shoto especially, they notice Ego's reaction when Peter used his powers, sounding excited, but not in a way that he was proud of his son, but rather that he has powers.
Peter losing it and Ego calming him down hid that reaction away, only they notice it because they have once seen a similar reaction to their father.
00:55:15 - 00:55:45
"Peter's first creation," Mirio said, happy to see Peter smiling, "a ball of light."
00:55:45 - 00:56:11
After Ego rolled up the energy into a proper ball, the following scene showed the two throwing the ball, making the audience smile as they watch a sci-fi father and son reunited to play catch.
As happy as it seems, Midoriya was very envious of Peter, a little sad even, he never played catch before, his father wasn't there to play it with him and growing up, people didn't want to play it with him.
Overall, he was glad that Peter now sees Ego in a good way and hoped that he can continue to be a good father for his son.
00:56:11 - 00:56:26
The scene changes to Drax and Mantis with Mantis explaining how Ego found her in the larva state on her homeworld and raised her as his own.
"I understand Mantis is used to get Ego to sleep, but it's still good to show that Ego already has father skills." Midnight said.
"What's the larva state?" Denki asked, confused by the word.
"It's a stage in development in insects, ribbit." Asui explained, "think of it like a bug equivalent of a child state, a moment after they were born but before they became adults."
"You know a lot about bugs, huh 1-A student," Monoma said to the frog.
"Being part frog that occasionally eats flies, I always wondered about different insects."
The copying students was about to mock the frog for being gross and used it as an excuse to show why 1-B is better, but stop himself, figured that he would end up being racist instead of insulting an entire class, not a good look when the teachers are around him. so he remained silent.
00:56:26 - 00:56:31
There was a little bit of confusion when Drax said that Mantis is Ego's pet and not an adoptive daughter, with Mantis saying that she is a pet.
It felt a little weird, but something somewhat expected, since this scene is a talk with someone who's too literal and another who doesn't know much or talk to many other people.
A conversation only the two would understand.
00:56:31 - 00:56:41
"Wow…" one of the students said, especially the girls who were shocked when Drax told Mantis that she's hideous.
"Way to make her feel bad, Drax…" Mina said, a little mad at the grey bald man.
00:56:41 - 00:56:54
But her anger reduces to what he said next, saying that if the person is ugly and if someone loves them, then they love them for who they are and not by their looks.
"That's… sort of sweet… I… guess?" Momo said, a little unsure, she get what Drax was saying, but the wording feels a little off to her, perhaps because he said something bad at first and still admit that Mantis is ugly.
The audience doesn't see Mantis as ugly, some of the boys see her being pretty.
00:56:54 - 00:56:58
A few snickers to how Mantis say that she's happy that she's ugly.
It was also a touching moment for the mutant-types in the audience, remembering their friends and how they like them for who they are, regardless of what they look like. that's something they got out of Drax, they could even see this scene being a good moment and that any mutant-type could like, as Drax and Mantis could be seen as mutants if they didn't know they're aliens.
"Appearance doesn't matter, it's who they are that counts…" Tokoyami said
00:56:58 - 00:57:14
Drax then brought up a sad reminder, having the audience remember that before he was the Destroyer, he was a family man, a wife and a daughter he lost to the late Ronan.
Before, he only brought them up towards his vengeance, but this moment was rather from what he was seeing in this world and told Mantis how all of this reminded him of his time with his daughter.
The audience has nothing to say, as it was touching yet heart-aching moment. And it was on Drax side
00:57:14 - 00:57:44
For Mantis' side, the scene showed her touching Drax, activating her abilities and feel the same feelings he was feeling.
Though Drax face was stiff and still, upon touching, Mantis wept out tears before looking in his direction and giving into his feels.
"Guess it's one special thing about Mantis' quirk." Midoriya said, "Drax didn't say what happened to his daughter, but by touching him, she could feel his pain, know that the person he was talking about was gone and all that's left were memories she couldn't see but feel."
"Woah…" Uraraka said, once thought of the power as being a little scary since it can reveal embarrassing feelings, but she didn't think of it as something that can make them see a true part of the ones they're touching.
"Drax might seem like a tough, manly warrior on the outside…" Kirishima said, a little shocked at what he's going to say, "but on the inside, he's heartbroken by the family he lost, and have to live with it. The fact he keeps going… that's pretty manly…and… miserable…"
He taken a breath, pitying the strong durable warrior, though he will be victorious in many battles, he knows what loss feels like and at this moment, Mantis gotten a taste of his feeling.
Kirishima doesn't want to have that same feeling, he wasn't sure what he would do if it happens, but if it does, he has to turn it into strength, to keep him going, even when it's hurting inside.
A tear went down the red hairs eye, now feeling a little sad for seeing this moment, but know this moment won't last.
00:57:44 - 00:57:55
"Huh?" one of the teachers said, as they, most of the students and villains perked up when Mantis has something to say, a look of concern came over her, a sign of a bad feeling.
Until Gamora appears.
"Go on." Present Mic said, "spit it out!"
00:57:55 - 00:58:09
"You're seriously going to leave us there like that!?" the curious people shouted.
"Yeah, she's adorable and sexy!" Mineta said around the same time people shouted.
00:58:09 - 00:58:20
"Make sense since Ego is the entire planet itself," Shigaraki said.
00:58:20 - 00:58:27
"But sometimes, dogs do invite fleas if they don't give them a bath." Twice said, "mantis fleas!"
00:58:27 - 00:58:31
"Thank you!" Denki said as he and many people wanted to know what Mantis wanted to say.
The audience leans closer, hoping for an answer.
00:58:31 - 00:58:43
The entire audience groans from Mantis' response.
"Then why did you bring it up in the first place, you stupid bug!" Bakugo shouted.
While for those who had bad feelings towards Ego or who were cautious towards him, this was a first sign that something bad might happen, but a little unsure why Mantis is telling them anything, like she was ready to tell Drax, yet didn't want to tell Gamora.
"Somethings up," Aizawa said, having a bad feeling towards Ego.
00:58:43 - 00:59:04
"Still a stupid name." one of the students said, enjoying what seemed to be a troubling scene of Rocket and Yondu getting thrown in a cell.
"At least he's enjoying his bad situation." Toga said, snickering whenever Rocket said Taserface.
00:59:04 - 00:59:11
"Do that and I'll kill you!" Uraraka shouted in a Bakugo-like tone.
00:59:11 - 00:59:16
"Thank you!" Uraraka said as she and many of the people who like Baby Groot was relieved that they will not kill Baby Groot, being 'too adorable to kill'.
"Even villains aren't immune to his adorable charm." Midnight said.
"he is cute, I wouldn't cut him, he doesn't even have blood." Toga smiled along with the rest of the League who also find Groot adorable, the only ones who didn't were Kurogiri and Shigaraki.
00:59:16 - 00:59:21
"They're just the terrible ones Rocket" Twice pointed out, "THE REST GOOD ONES DIED BY AIRLOCK!"
00:59:21 - 01:00:11
In the following scene, Yondu explained about his deal, talking about how he joined the Ravagers to Rocket, and how he was a bad person back then, now regretting it and claiming that he deserves for what's going to happen to him.
This was a little sad, even for some of the villains, hearing that he started as a slave, a bit angry that slavery still exists beyond the stars.
"So he was just someone who sees opportunities and takes them, no matter how bad they are…" All Might muttered. For the hero side, they still see him as a bad person, but it was good to understand the upbringing that led him to a path of a criminal.
01:00:11 - 01:00:26
"But we can all agree that out of all the names given here, Taserface is the worst," Tokoyami said, with a few students snickering from the name.
01:00:26 - 01:00:41
"Now we get to see the real reason…" Nezu said, already hearing Peter saying that he kept him because he was skinny. Having a feeling that there was more than just that excuse.
So perhaps hearing it from Yondu will give a clearer explanation.
01:00:41 - 01:00:49
He was a little disappointed.
"As mentioned, very terrible to bring up a kid to a life of crime." All Might said.
01:00:49 - 01:01:00
"Well, you are in good luck." Compress smiled, "you got yourself an escape artist, Rocket Racoon!"
"And Groot." Another villain pointed out.
01:01:00 - 01:01:14
The scene changes to the Ravagers surrounding Groot in a suit, struggling to get it off him while all chanting 'Mascot'.
"As much as I like him in that little suit, it's not good that he's struggling to get out of it," Momo said, as she once thought about creating a little suit to fit Baby Groot, but seeing this made her change her mind.
"So they're going to make Groot their mascot." One of the teachers said, a little angry at how the little tree is being treated and used.
01:01:14 - 01:01:37
The screen room was filled with rage, watching Groot getting covered by drinks and kicked. It hurt the hearts of many and now wanted the bad Ravagers to get a taste of their own medicine.
"I am so going to kill every last person in that room," Toga said, wanting to grip a blad she doesn't have. thinking of slaughtering all the Ravagers and save the little tree from harm, he was too precious and adorable to deserve such horrid treatment.
"I can't believe I'm agreeing with a murdering psychopath, but I would do the same!" Uraraka said, with others thinking the same as the blonde villain, though not going to extreme as she would.
01:01:37 - 01:01:58
After the anger induces a moment, the next scene shows Groot slowly waking with his head down.
Making most of the audience sad and angrier at the Ravager.
A glimmer of hope came when they see Groot approaching the trapped Yondu and Rocket.
"Hold on a minute." Shigaraki notice something strange, "they didn't keep Groot in a cage?"
"Perhaps with that suit, it kept him from using his abilities." Kurogiri suggested, "they also made him feel powerless, so he wouldn't be much of a risk."
"Not to mention that he's just a baby." Aizawa pointed out.
"A baby that can walk." Mina said, "and can help the two escape."
01:01:58 - 01:02:20
"Great!" Uraraka smiled, "Baby Groot to the rescue!"
"And Yondu getting himself a new head thingy that controls the arrow." Hatsume said, excited to see what this 'prototype' would do.
"While it sounds like a good plan, there are some consistencies to be aware of." Aizawa said, "he needs to be stealthy, to ensure he doesn't alert anyone on the ship."
01:02:20 - 01:02:49
The scene shows the Ravagers sleeping, huddling up together and snoring while Groot looks around the place to find the prototype fin.
"Just like the prison." One of the teachers said, "and you think space would have a concept of beds and quarters."
01:02:49 - 01:02:55
"And yet Groot can understand Rocket… I think…" one of the students said, a little confused as to whether or not Groot can understand what other people are saying, even if Rocket can understand Groot.
In any case, a few childish people in the audience giggled when Groot got Yondu's underwear.
01:02:55 - 01:03:04
"He is not going to understand that," Aizawa said
01:03:04 - 01:03:10
And expected, Groot comes in with a creature, a little shocked from the audience since the creature was shrieking, wonder how the Ravagers didn't catch him.
01:03:10 - 01:03:14
"Knowing Rocket, he probably…"
01:03:14 - 01:03:17
"KNEW IT!" Present Mic throws his hands before he could finish, as Groot got a robotic eye.
01:03:17 - 01:03:32
"A little horrid humour is expected from you Rocket," Aizawa said, angry towards the racoon who disrespects the disabled.
"At least he managed to get 'that guy's eye' after all," Sero said, remembering the previous film about an eye.
01:03:32 - 01:03:40
"Now we're just getting ridiculous." One of the teachers said as they and most of the audience are starting to get annoyed by Groot constantly getting a different item, with the desk being the silliest thing he brought.
"The ravagers must be good at sleeping if he can bring an entire desk to the cell." Asui pointed out, a little surprised that if the creature didn't wake them up and notice Groot or this desk, then she wonders what it would take to wake the bad guys up.
01:03:40 - 01:03:44
The next item was a huge shock from the audience. And not in a good way…
"Is he holding a…"
"Yes…" Toga answered the gravity girl's question, smiling at what Groot got or better yet, what he did to get the toe.
01:03:44 - 01:03:56
"Better off never to talk about it ever again…" Momo said, with everyone beside Toga agreeing with Rocket as it puts off the adorableness to Baby Groot, knowing that he cut off someone's toe-off.
The vampire villain meanwhile was in complete glee seeing both the cute Groot and the cut off toe, with some red on the severed part. To her, one good thing about the Guardians as criminals is that they can do bad stuff, unlike heroes who are supposed to do good and not do bad stuff.
Till the scene changes, she tries to keep that mental image in her head as long as she can and will never forget about it.
01:03:56 - 01:04:03
"It might be slow, but it's good to show him images of where to look." One of the teachers said, hoping that Groot would see the symbol and understand what he needs to do.
01:04:03 - 01:04:15
"But of course, he doesn't understand yet again." Shinso sighs.
"Little steps, but it's an improvement…" Asui said
"Yeah, he's only a baby after all…" Mina added.
01:04:15 - 01:04:32
"So, the tree doesn't like hats," Todoroki said.
"Also did Rocket said that Groot was relieved that he doesn't want him to wear it? Does that mean he can understand them?" Iida pointed out.
"Maybe," Momo said, now acknowledging that fact, "perhaps he doesn't know what the fin looks like, and of course, he doesn't know much since he's just a baby."
01:04:32 - 01:04:58
"hey! At least he found the chest." The red hair student smiled when he saw Groot seeing the drawer with the symbol.
"that's step one at least," Shinso said.
01:04:58 - 01:05:06
Everyone in the audience was pleased when Groot opened the drawer, revealing a red fin inside.
"Yes!" Uraraka cheered.
01:05:06 - 01:05:11
"No!" the same girl said in the same cheer tone when Groot retrieved the wrong item.
"So close!" most of the audience said, almost in sync.
01:05:11 - 01:05:15
"uh oh." One of the students said, seeing Kraglin appearing behind Groot, catching him in the act.
However, a few had a strong feeling that something else is going to happen, based on earlier scenes to how the ravager was feeling since Taserface took over.
01:05:15 - 01:05:30
Instead of alerting the Ravagers, Kraglin brought the fin to Yondu, saying that he regrets starting a mutiny after Taserface killed the good parts of the Ravagers.
"A change of heart for one who called out," Tokoyami said. Pleased that Kraglin remains loyal to Yondu when he realizes his mistake and be the one to help him out of his situation.
"Good whatever your name is." Hatsume said, "now it's arrow time!"
01:05:30 - 01:05:50
Hearing Rocket's request on Quill's music, brighten the pink girl and the rock girl.
"And we'll do it with music!" Mina joined in with the support girl, excited to see what will happen.
01:05:50 - 01:06:02 (Song: Come a Little Bit Closer)
With music being played on the ship's speakers, Mina gets herself ready to listen to some sweet music, with this song, sounding very old, but already very catchy.
Everyone else gets ready to see what Yondu would do, knowing how dangerous he is with the arrow. The villains were very excited as it means something most of them love seeing.
The full potential and dangers of Yondu Udonta begin.
01:06:02 - 01:06:10
"Blue guy has a mohawk!" Kirishima said, excited to see Yondu in action as the music starts to play and the fin activates.
01:06:10 - 01:06:23
And before the Ravagers could react, Yondu whistled and killed the two guards, the singer starts as he stood up and the hit baddies collapse to the ground.
"Oh, I miss how Yondu has a powerful arrow," Snipe said, though knowing that Yondu is a criminal, very impressive towards his homing skills, not even he has similar skills as Yondu.
"Already, I can tell this is going to be a massacre," Shigaraki said, getting himself hyped for what's going to happen.
01:06:23 - 01:06:54
With the ship alerted and the three slow walkings, the audience pay more attention to the music, as it has classic, exciting catching music.
Mina is already moving her hips and arms by each trumpet sound, enjoying the song.
"Certainly, a good song for what's to come," Jiro commented, knowing Yondu, he expects this entire sequence to make the song very sadistic.
01:06:54 - 01:07:19
With a new batch of ravagers approaching Yondu, many smiled, watching Yondu activating his arrow and successfully hitting each person, while they were confused and died.
"This is so amazing!" Toga said, noticing how each hit, blood splats out of them as well as the crunching sound for each pierce, especially on the first impact in slow motion.
Though the villains are loving the scene, the students also liked it, seeing the bad ravagers deserve what's coming to them, it was that feeling that someone watches a movie and want to see them die, in a brief moment, they didn't care if this was happening in the next reality, they want to see this after what they did to Baby Groot.
And when Yondu catches the arrow, everyone sees him as a complete badass.
01:07:19 - 01:07:45
Another scene of Yondu killing Ravagers continues.
This time was in an open space, using the arrow he killed so many people as he walks through the rails.
Twelve steps, he killed so many, enough to make a slow-motion and the hit ravagers to fall.
"it's raining men!" Twice shouted.
The villains are having a blast towards the scene, Shigaraki, who hated the Ravagers wild and annoying behaviour, glad to see them killed instantly and cowardly, Toga, who loves watching pain and death, found the raining mean glorious and enough to make her blush, Spinner, who follows the steps of killing false heroes from the Hero Killer, also be willing to serve justice to the corrupt such as the Ravagers. Twice already crazy, just in the amount of shock and surprise by each person killed. Kurogiri, Dabi and Compress were incredibly impressed by Yondu's actions.
And while the students were enjoying it, this scene terrifies the heroes.
"Seriously?" Present Mic said in complete shock, "who can beat Yondu when he has that dang arrow!"
"I know," Cementoss, "just imagine a villain having that power, they could easily wipe out an entire city block before any heroes are alerted, and no hero could get close to them without getting killed by the arrow, not even All Might could match the arrow's speed"
"Perhaps long-range could stop them or a surprise attack like Nebula did." Snipe suggested, "assuming they don't get caught first."
Overall, watching Yondu's potential brought a mixture of joy and caution.
01:07:45 - 01:07:50
"Now you're afraid of him." Toga smiled, seeing the guy who kicked Groot earlier being afraid of him, "go and get your revenge!"
01:07:50 - 01:08:04
Once the people who love Baby Groot were angered by how he was treated as a mascot to the nasty ravagers, especially one who poured his drink on him and kicked him around.
To see him getting grabbed by Groot and thrown off to plummet to his death was overly stratified to the audience.
"He got what he deserves." Toga put her arms together with a satisfied smile. "You are the cutest, toe-cutting murderer in the whole galaxy!"
01:08:04 - 01:08:16
The scene then brings the three into a room with several cameras with Ravagers rushing around the place like mad.
"He has eyes everywhere." Midoriya said, "that means…"
01:08:16 - 01:09:02
The music amplifies, changing the singer to a choir sound and the music to turn into energetic blues to rock and roll.
The scene becomes wilder, as the scene has Yondu looking at the screen and using the arrow to kill the remaining ravagers who were scattered around the ship. Catching all of them off guard.
Even feature some creative actions that shaken the heroes, such as the arrow cutting off the lights before killing everyone who can't see the arrow, taking them out in the dark, or when Yondu cut off support of a ship, coming down and kill several men in one swoop without going one-by-one.
They were so much enjoyment, not just seeing Yondu, but also Rocket who joins in and shot through the walls to kill nearby Ravagers.
While this goes on, the audience were having so much joy, with some moving their arms and hips around while remaining in their seats as they follow the beat of the music,
"Watch out here comes his arrow, flies super-fast and kill everyone!" Twice sang words he made up on the spot, enjoying himself, "watch out here comes his arrow, Hawkeye sucks and Yondu is the one!"
Overall, this entire sequence is one they will surely remember and remember fondly of how much of a badass and a threat he could be, the audience is completely relieved that he only exists in another reality and someone having a quirk similar to his would be less likely.
01:09:02 - 01:09:10
"Alright, time to take out Taserface," Denki said, seeing the new leader of the newly dead Ravagers marching on-screen.
01:09:10 - 01:09:18
"The arrow caught on fire!" Midoriya pointed out, as many were shock towards a new ability shown for Yondu's arrow.
01:09:18 - 01:09:22
To two more surprises, out of everyone who was killed by the arrow, Taserface was the first to dodge out of the way, though many expected for the arrow to redirect and stab him back.
But in their second surprise, the arrow instead hit a piece of explosive that blew up in front of Taserface.
"Now that's awesome!" Bakugo, who was smiling towards villains dying, was excited when he saw a big explosion towards the leader with a dumb name.
The rest, however, were surprised because a big explosion could cause a chain reaction, making them worried about what's going to happen.
01:09:22 - 01:09:35
"Are you f**king kidding me!" Bakugo shouted, "That bastard survived!"
"Not for very long," Dabi said, smiling towards the flame and seeing the man in burnt scars.
"Shut it, dead skin!" Bakugo shouted at the fire villain.
01:09:35 - 01:09:53
While most of the audience was worried, some notice Yondu having a plan, as though he intentionally planned to blow up the entire ship.
"He did ask Kraglin to get something ready." Midoriya recalled, having a feeling that the before mentioned 'Third Quadrant' is going to be their getaway.
01:09:53 - 01:10:03
"As a final act, he's going to tell help the gold people track down the Guardians." Aizawa notices, now being cautious for when they show up later in the third, perhaps during the third act.
01:10:03 - 01:10:16
Hearing the name one more time caused more snickers and mouth covers, still thinking that Taserface is a ridiculous name, even in villain standards.
01:10:16 - 01:10:24
"Even the gold people are laughing!" Twice said out of his laughter causing the rest of the audience to burst out in complete laughter.
All while Taserface dies from the explosion.
Giving credit where's due, the man had done some bad things that were smart for a villain, being part of the mutiny and suggesting that Yondu is getting soft, all to gain control of the exiled ravagers, one he joined because he once saw Yondu being someone who doesn't care for the code.
As much as he was a threatening person to look at, he ended up becoming a joke due to the villain's name he called himself: Taserface, an incredibly ridiculous name, he thought it was a badass name that can strike fear to anyone who hears it.
But instead, it only brought laughter.
And so, he died as he lived; as a joke.
Midoriya wrote down the fate of Taserface, as much as he chuckles by the name, he has to give anyone who played a major role in the film some credit.
'Taserface - Killed in a ship explosion, not before sending coordinates to the Sovereigns and hearing laughter after giving his name out.'
01:10:24 - 01:10:37
Many were wondering how the four are going to escape with the ship exploding, expecting Yondu to have a plan and Kraglin setting it all up.
It was revealed when the Third Quadrant detached from the entire ship and got out of the explosion
"Like getting rid of the heavy weight on the rockets," Hatsume said, smiling towards the fireworks.
01:10:37 - 01:10:43
"Yep, time for them to come together," Ojiro said.
"With the threat of the Ravagers gone, it would make sense for them to go where Peter, Gamora and Drax are," Midoriya added. "And hopefully we'll get more answers now that Yondu is tagging along.
01:10:43 - 01:10:53
"Wait, what do you mean 50 jumps?" Iida questions as the scene show the ship going through each jump.
"Perhaps it's a health regulation for space travel." Thirteen suggested, "they are using fast speed to go from planet and planet, fast travel in incredible lengths.
"Okay, I think I understand," Momo said, "but how many jumps are they…"
01:10:53 - 01:11:01
"Oh…" the rich girl said, surprised by the big number, fourteen times more than the regular limit amount that's suggested.
"I guess time is at the essence," Twice pointed out, "the Gold people are after them and their friends might be in ULTIMATE DANGER! So how bad can going overboard with space travel can it…"
01:11:01 - 01:11:11
"What the f**k!" Twice shouted, as the jump caused the screen to go crazy, with everyone on the ship looking weird, eyes bigger, mouths widen, heads shaping and all screaming. It weirded out the audience with some jumped from the weirdness.
"Oh my…" Momo said, a little jump by the scenes.
"So, this is what drugs feel like…" Denki joked.
"Space travel drugs!" the masked villain shouted.
01:11:11 - 01:11:19 (Song: Bring It On Home To Me)
The scene then makes a sudden shift, going back to Ego, changing what was absolutely crazy to a more peaceful moment.
"Hope we don't see more of that when we get back to them, ribbit," Asui who just saw nothing but colours in the previous scene
01:11:19 - 01:11:23
"He's too busy being captured and escaping." Present Mic said as he saw Gamora calling for Rocket.
01:11:23 - 01:11:40
"Who is Sam Cooke?" one of the students asked, never heard of the person before.
Some eyes turn to Jiro, which she felt a little nervous about.
"Hey, I don't know who he is," she responds, "must be one of the American musicians Peter like."
Meanwhile, for Mina, she locked onto the screen, wanting Gamora to dance with Peter.
01:11:40 - 01:12:10
The scene made the pink student happy, as she watches Peter and Gamora dance in a loving song.
Speaking of, Jiro indeed finds it a nice song for slow romantic dances, which fits well within the scene.
"See Drax!" Mina said, remembering Drax's love advice, "anyone can dance! Heck, I could teach anyone here how to dance if they can't."
It wasn't a bit of a lie, she once thought about showing off her moves to impress them. She wears shorts more often and currently for such occasions.
01:12:10 - 01:12:18
"That must be the softest death threat I ever heard." Kirishima said, turning to an angry Bakugo, "and that's saying something."
Mina meanwhile was happy that Peter addresses how Drax is wrong with Gamora not being a dancer or that there are people who don't dance.
01:12:18 - 01:12:37
"not a sort of thing here," Mina said, not knowing what Cheers is but would want Peter and Gamora to be together, and from a few people around, there are some who want them to be together too.
Only a few though, most were unsure.
01:12:37 - 01:12:51
"Yeah, what he said," Mina said.
"What did he say?" Hagakure raises her invisible brow. Not understanding what Peter just said to say that there's a thing between him and Gamora.
01:12:51 - 01:13:01
"What is he talking about?" Uraraka said confused by Gamora saying that the Ego planet doesn't feel right.
"At least she's catching on…" Aizawa said, who for most of the time, had a strange feeling towards Ego and his intentions. He looked around and notice others feeling cautious towards the planet.
01:13:01 - 01:13:27
A sudden turn of events occurs when Peter and Gamora start arguing with each other. This time, Peter trusting Ego while Gamora remains suspicious.
"Huh… for a while back, it was the other way round." Jiro pointed out.
The audience didn't side with either of them, as the argument sounds the same as before, but much louder and in the opposite with stuff they already knew. They just listen to see where it goes
Mina on the other hand didn't like the two lovers arguing, even if it's a natural part of any relationship, it still made her worried.
01:13:27 - 01:13:34
"Not technically for us, ribbit." Asui said, "he was a hero to me when he was a kid, now he's insufferable."
"Wait, as a kid?" Uraraka raised a brow, "what did he do?"
"Fighting bullies who killed a frog." The frog girl with an angered face that was hard to see, "but again, that's before, now he stoops low to Denki's level. And Gamora met her in that time."
"Is he still Denki's level?" the electric student asked, a little surprised that Ausi has levels for perverts, probably be below, but not as low as Mineta.
"He's slightly higher, ribbit, an improvement"
01:13:34 - 01:13:55
"Neither do we!" one of the students said, bring up something called 'Cheers', sounding like an American sitcom.
"A show with an open up person and a complete jerk that trust nobody, yeah, imagine watching if one ever exists," another student thought about what Peter said.
01:13:55 - 01:14:08
People took a breath when Gamora ended the argument.
"I guess being in a family and discovering another part of a family can conflict with the two families," Iida said. With the rest feeling a little grateful they don't have to go through what Peter is going through.
However, a few indeed have family issues, they are regular ones, they can be worse than Peter's. the FWM did mention family, but mostly towards parents. Which made a few feeling a little suspicious towards Ego, he doesn't seem to be someone who is a bad parent.
At least not yet…
To be concluded (of this film)…
