Author's Note:

On the date of 7/9/2021 at 7:00 pm, I finished watching the movie, Black Widow.

I won't say anything concise about the film for those who haven't seen it yet.

I can say that the ending was very beautiful and captivating, with all the fight scenes and Natasha's background explaining.

I only have one question for whoever saw the movie. Does it seem to you that Taskmaster's costume looks like Crysis' Nanosuit?

Speaking of these important. I'm sorry that I delayed my posting for a few days beyond the normal date.

You see something unusual has happened, I blame Dana Terrace for making such a beautiful cartoon.

You see I wanted to do a chapter with Crimson Harlock who wakes up in SHIELD and meets Black Widow and Nick Fury, then a magical mess happens ...

At the beginning of the chapter I wanted to do a little prologue that delves into the story of Merlin and Gudrun in the Hot Isles.

But my little prologue has become a kind of separate chapter. So I ended up working on two chapters at the same time.

At least I managed to write a special chapter for Owl House fans.

PS. I still can't make up my mind on Holmes / Gudrun's hero name for the Marvel world. What do you suggest to me:

A) Crimson Harlock

B) Crimson Warlock

C) Crimson Knight

Answers to comments:

NecrorexSparda Juubi-No-Kishin: Thank you so much for the advice on different sources of inspiration and some ideas. As much as I like Soul Calibur, the Spirit of the Sword is from another series.

NecrorexSparda Juubi-No-Kishin: I'm sure I'll send Holmes to other worlds, Halo won't be one of them, but DC or My Hero Academy definitely will.

RedBurningDragon: For the moment Joe is more powerful than Crimson Harlock, but I consider my character to be more interesting and comical than Joe.

Maybe I'll have to go over the different types of Power Rangers Mechazord to get ideas about giant robots.

I'm thinking of something like Maxus Helios from the Bakugan series.

I believe you are right, the Spiral Power can create temporary matter in the form of giant robots or huge drills. This infinite energy can be used to break the equivalent exchange rule.

In an episode of Ben 10 Alien Force, Plumbers' Helpers, Kevin was trapped in a sphere of energy where he couldn't absorb anything.

To free himself from prison, Kevin had to absorb the metal of some coins found in his pockets, only managing to cover his fist.

I in that situation could have absorbed the solid material of his bones but not in fact, it means that Kevin cannot absorb matter that is inside him.

You have made an interesting idea about the danger of combining so many mystical energies in one body. I could do a subplot on this stuff for a chapter. Let's say Crimson Harlock won't have a problem with magical energy if he doesn't use too many different energies at the same time.

If he perfects his nanotechnology I'm sure Crimson Harlock can create his own version of Upgrade's technology / biology.

I don't really like Rick and Morty because of how toxic Rick and Morty's relationship is.

But the basic concept is similar to Merlin taking a young Gudrun to various lengths of the world, followed by magical places and other dimensions that will be deepened when the Stargate is completed.

It means you are voting for Nero and Tamamo, both of which are among my favorite Servants.

Nero is very compatible with Crimson Harlock, being passionate about the color red and art, having an unrivaled eccentric personality and being both monarchs.

Tamamo could be a much more ideal Waifu in my opinion, her clumsy and jealous personality would be useful for comedy and romantic scenes.

Maybe I should invoke Nero and Tamamo at the same time?

Crimson Harlock possesses a skill set that Merlin did not possess and a natural talent for the sword. He will surely be able to do tricks Merlin has never seen before with the fairy sword hidden in the stick.

Trpstar: Thanks for the suggestion in the heroic name for the Marvel world of Holmes / Gudrun.

No thanks. I used Re Zero because it's the only thing that gives a magical spirit of the kind I want for Holmes.

Shaman King exists but I keep it for a special occasion.

I will not give Holmes a Re Zero Divine Blessing at Reinhard level, it would make the story too difficult for me to write.

Magic Eyes of the analysis is a great idea that will help me in the long run. But I found this advantage:

Divine Visual Organs (Kekkai Sensen) (800): You have been implanted with a set of divine visual organs, commonly known as the all-seeing eyes of the gods. These eyes are made by Riga El Menuhyut, a powerful divine Beyondian entity who bears the title of Ophthalmological Engineer for beings of higher existence. Usually, to get your hands on a set of these, a person close to you will have to lose their sight instead, but since you're paying such a high price for them, we can skip that part.

The main function of these eyes is to record major world-changing events in their world for demigods. Again, since your Benefactor is already perfectly capable of observing your activities, we can skip that part.

Now, about what you can do with them. Their primary power is described as being able to see the "Truth" of the world. This means that the user of the Eyes cannot be fooled by any kind of visual illusion, even if of magical origin or not. They can also see the "auras" of any being, which is particularly useful, as members of different species have different auras.

Other skills include learning a being's true name by observing his or her aura, although depending on the being in question, other requirements may be needed to achieve this. Eye keepers also get exceptional eyesight, being able to observe a person from great distances in perfect detail or see a louse between the head of a small monkey.

Other abilities of the possessors include total control over the vision of those around them, be they Beyondians without real organs of vision, and even mechanical ones, such as cameras, are not exempt from their manipulation. They can use this ability to see what others see, change the field of vision of two individuals, create powerful visual illusions that only other eye owners can circumvent, and even cause information overload that damages the eyes of others.

You should be aware that overuse of eye abilities will damage them, causing them to temporarily lose their abilities due to overheating. If you do this too many times in a row, there is a chance that your eyes will break, which would usually make your brain explode with them, unless you are somehow able to burn your brain to ashes. , it is not recommended to abuse it. However, if left unused, the Eyes are perfectly capable of repairing themselves.

These Eyes are incredibly precious, to the point that even powerful beings from the Beyond will kill for them if they know you have them. Be careful who you reveal to have them.

I followed your idea of not doing a complicated crossover story of Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Amphibia and The Owl House, is to settle for some special chapters and occasional references, maybe a special story arc.

By accident I started with a prologue and ended with this special chapter, I hope you like it and leave a nice comment on my choices made in this chapter.

Special Chapter for Owl House Fans: The Lying Witch, the Guardian and the Lost Child.

Alternative title: Gudrun's Childhood Memories.

POV Narrator

We currently see a series of islands in the water, but upon further notice, most of these islands turn out to be components of a skeleton of some sort of huge creature, its bones have been seen protruding into the sky and what remains. of his body constitutes the islands.

These are the Boiling Isles, a chained island in the Demon Kingdom populated by all sorts of magical creatures with a city located in the remains of a dead titan.

In fact, the titan's corpse itself makes up the entire landscape of the island itself.

Their place itself is by far very strange, but for the residents who have lived there forever it is normal and part of their daily life.

Turning the focus to Bonesborough, a bustling town in the Hot Isles filled with creatures, witches, ghosts and monsters.

Something interesting is happening in the market. An out of the ordinary woman is trying, unsuccessfully, to attract the attention of the people who are passing in front of her stand, showing potential customers an old turntable.

"Come on, why wouldn't you want a human box that helps you feel better ?! I'm giving it to you in a special deal!" You shouted a woman between twenty and thirty years old.

This woman has ivory skin, pointed ears, brown lips and golden eyes. Her wild hair is long and thick and is layered with a combination of orange and gray. A pair of fangs emerge from her lips. Claw-like orange nails and an oval amber gemstone on her sternum. She is wearing a red sleeveless dress with a ripped hem and gray leggings.

Among the passers-by is a pale-skinned child with golden eyes and silver hair. His clothing is hidden under a large black and red poncho.

"Merlin, how do you convince Frigga to give you permission to take me to such strange places?

And how can I get lost in less than five minutes as soon as I turn the corner? "Murmured a 13-year-old Gudrun, completely lost, not knowing where Merlin is or the hotel they are staying in.

The Third Prince of Asgard was drawn to the voice of the woman with the golden eyes.

Approaching the woman's stall, Gudrun began looking at the merchandise and contents of the shelves that stand on either side of the strange woman.

Surprisingly, the merchandise on the shelves is intact and fully functional. Women's merchandise includes a bit of everything, watches, toys, soft toys, musical instruments and artistic materials.

Above all, there is a hand-painted sign that says, in dark red letters: Human Treasures.

'This lady definitely has a method of getting random items from Midgard. But she doesn't understand how it works or the true value of half the merchandise she wants to sell.

I will not starve on the streets waiting for Merlin to return.

The woman is the Midgard merchandise and I know the Midgard culture, a potential source of profit for both of us. ' Gudrun thought, deciding what to do now so as not to die on the roads.

"Did you find something you like ... Human?" She asked the Lady in Red, seeing a potential client, she was surprised for a moment by seeing the round ears of a human, but a client is a client.

"First of all I'm an Asgardian not a Human being. Second, I like your pocket watches and especially these diary." Gudrun said, taking a white and purple pocket diary in his hands.

"It will cost you a lot, this diary belonged to a princess from the former colonies of an ancient human empire." She said the Lady in Red, wanting to inflate the price of the diary that still has the $ 10 tag on the cover.

"Counter offer, I get the diary and a free meal from you, in return I help you sell most of your merchandise in less than five minutes." She said Gudrun, trying to get a win-win deal

The Lady in Red stares Gudrun with a stern look for a few seconds before shrugging and gesturing forward.

Gudrun smiled and looks around, finding large discs that are under the sign of human donuts.

She takes the records, she puts them on the turntable and turns the lever.

Shortly thereafter, Elvis Presley's music came out of the turntable.

It didn't take long for Elvis's music to start drawing attention.

In record time all sorts of creatures came to find the source of the beautiful music.

"Maybe when I grow up I will become the God of Merchants." The young Gudrun murmured, standing next to the Lady in Red, starting to prepare other "human treasures" to sell to the crowd that gathers in front of the stall.

In the meantime, the lady in red has remained mute, staring in pure bewilderment, as a large crowd of customers of all kinds gathers: cat people, three-eyed lizards, a four-eyed dog etc.

All of them are staring in amazement at the music device, muttering to each other before one of them yells, "I'll pay forty Snails for the screaming box!"

"I'll give you a hundred!" You proposed a chicken creature.

"Two hundred!?" A squid-like thing launched a counter offer.

" Three hundred !" They shouted a pair of green-haired twins who appear to be around 10 years old.

The cacophony only grew louder as each creature screams over the other, building into an overwhelming buzz of noise that actually made Gudrun's ears burn.

Each of these creatures tries to push money to the Lady in Red, all to get their hands on the music box.

"Okay, okay, everybody slow down. The scream box goes to the highest bidder. The highest bid I heard was Two Hundred Snails! Feel Three Hundred !? One hundred and ten, anyone, one hundred and ten !?" You said the Lady in Red, taking advantage of the moment to make a big profit.

For the next few minutes the Lady in Red continued to raise the price as more and more people continued to raise the offer.

Finally, when a frog creature has won the turntable by a thousand Snails, the Lady in red counts the small mountain of gold coins with a smile on her face.

"Go ahead and browse! That box isn't the only human treasure I've collected over the years!" She shouted the Lady in Red, following the proverb: strike while the iron is hot.

"We have human treasures from all five continents of the Earth!

Christmas globes that sing the stories of winter.

Figurines of the most famous gladiators (football players) in Italy.

If you want something special I offer you an imaginative bubble shooter, perfect for children! "Gudrun shouted, joining the sale, creating a stir in the crowd when he created a cloud of colored soap bubbles.

"If you are hungry we also have real exotic dishes (freshly reheated canned food) and iced rainbow drinks (water with sugar and harmless artificial coloring)!" Gudrun said, he continued to conquer people's minds, stomachs and wallets.

XXX

Half an hour later, the Lady's stall was almost completely emptied like the wallets of the last customers.

"You were smart enough for a human. What's your name again?" She asked the Lady in red, holding a big sack full of money in her hands, from a distance someone can mistake her for Santa Claus because of the size of the sack.

"I'll tell you again, I'm an Asgardian. It's my name Gudrun ... Frostrom!" Gudrun said, deciding to be cautious is not to say his family name, Odinson.

"Ever heard of these Asgardians, are you sure you weren't adopted or did you hit your head?" He said the Lady in Red, raising an eyebrow, not believing the child to be anything other than a skilled human being.

" Who are you ?" She asked Gudrun, crossing her arms, giving the Lady in red an annoyed look.

"I'm Eda the Owl Lady! The most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles!" She shouted Eda, jumping onto the booth table.

The crowd around the table, which he scrutinized and toyed with the newly sold items, only seem to make Eda's head swell.

The clamor of the crowd turns into something akin to applause.

The money just obtained and the crowd cheers, Eda begins to get caught by the waves, putting a hand on her chest begins to praise herself: "I am respected, feared ...!"

"Arrested!" She shouted a gruff voice.

Eda's arrogant, self-copying smile has disappeared replaced by a stern frown.

The crowd of customers dispersed with a scream, all running in a different direction, paying no attention to anything else running as far from here as possible.

In about ten seconds, there was only one man left, dressed in a strange dark-colored guard suit and a horrifying beak-shaped iron helmet.

Gudrun wasted no time in casting an illusion on himself, making it appear that he has been sitting next to Eda, while in fact he is taking the diary in white and purple color, along with her share of earnings and some trinkets from her.

'I should probably follow the fairy tale's example, turn around and start running away. But I'm not a coward and I would certainly feel bad leaving Eda in trouble alone. ' Gudrun thought, creating a metal club and waiting for the right moment to interfere.

"Eda the Owl Lady! You are wanted for misuse of magic and demonic crimes!" He yelled at the guard holding up a parchment containing the allegations about Eda.

"You have been ordered to come with me to the Conformatorium ..." he Said the guard, reaching out to grab Eda, bad move.

Gudrun's illusion has come between the guard and Eda, giving the image of slapping the guard's hand, while the real Gudrun stands behind the guard, ready to smash his head.

"You too come with me!" He stated the guard, not knowing how little is missing until his head is about to gain a large number of bumps.

"Why should the baby be arrested, not doing anything wrong?" He asked Eda, slightly but just a little worried about the human (half-human) child who seems to want to help her.

"Like mother like son." She simply replied the guard.

" Thing !?" Eda and Gudrun shouted, shaken by this statement.

"Eda, your son is accused of complicity in all the crimes you have committed in recent years." The Guard declared, reaching out to grab the sword.

"But I'm not his Mother / Son!" Eda and Gudrun responded at the same time, making the guard's statement seem more true.

"Actually, you think you can fool me.

Eda, the Owl Lady, who has been in the human world for years, brings an ordinary human being to her stall to help her sell the smuggled goods.

It is coincidentally you and him, you have pale skin, silver hair, gold eyes and you are dressed in red.

How did you manage to hide your son's half-breed so far is a mystery to me, but I don't get paid to solve mysteries ... "

CRACK!

The guard's words were interrupted by a very strong impact on her head.

"Don't you dare call me ever again, half-breed, if you care about life!" He yelled the real Gudrun, dropping his club, angry at being called a half-caste, unaware that he is not an Asgardian.

"It doesn't matter, I called for backup before intervening." He muttered the Guard, trying to get up ...

CRACK!

Only to be hit in the head again, this time Eda is responsible for her second bump.

"Mrs. Owl, do I hear the sound of troops marching towards us, do we escape through the sewers or do we stay to fight?" She asked Gudrun, creating in his hands a pair of imaginative daggers that look like a bird's claws.

"Piccolo we have to leave, I don't have time to fight the whole local militia just for the money." Eda said, lifting her staff, twirling between her fingers before slamming the tip to the ground, golden flashes coming out of her body and onto every object around her.

A golden glow surrounded Eda's things, lifting everything from shelves to watches and toys to the curtain itself, cleared of the ground.

Everything floats in the air, the curtain decomposes, the poles, the ropes and the fabrics come off and flatten on the unrolled purple.

"Come with me, human!" Eda said taking Gudrun by the wrist and dragging him with her.

"I'm an Asgardian, I'm not afraid to fight some conceited guards." Gudrun said, confident enough he can run away from the guards using his illusions of him in case things take a turn for the worse here.

"Brave for a little guy, but don't bother hiding everything behind a facade. I won't let you die. A human like you is worth more to me alive!" Eda said, trying to make Gudrun feel good that he doesn't need reassurance .

"I'm not scared, maybe a little anxious, but not scared. A lot of unusual things have happened to me in my short life." He said Gudrun, not liking to be treated like a helpless child, child may be, but rather far defenseless.

Gudrun's words were quickly replaced by a cry as Eda wrapped her arm around her waist and, howling in excitement, leaps.

The strongest Witch in the Hot Isles, she pushed herself ten, twenty, thirty feet into the air by physical strength alone, taking Gudrun with her.

Her staff came to life, her owl's eyes sparkled and her wings unfurled as she stretches her legs, Gudrun dropped unceremoniously before her.

"Running isn't my style, but I admit being outnumbered is a nuisance." Gudrun said, managing to see the arrival of about fifty armed guards.

About twenty of them took out a bow and arrow, aiming to hit Eda and Gudrun.

"Increase the altitude I would be hit by a shower of arrows!" Gudrun warned, snapping his fingers and creating a handful of illusory copies to confuse the archers.

"You are full of surprises for a human," Eda said, smiling at Gudrun's illusory little help.

With the attention of the archers split between the copies and the original, the real deals managed to get out of range.

Slowly the market and the city itself have begun to shrink from their point of view as Eda's staff carries them up into the magenta morning sky.

XXX

"We're safe, human, you can relax now." Eda said, in a voice that sounded like a mixture of reassurance and mockery.

"I will release once I have my feet on the ground!" Gudrun shouted, leaning back against Eda, holding the stick tightly.

"Fear of wanting." He joked Eda, swinging the means of transport left and right, wanting to put a crumb of panic in Gudrun.

"I am a Lord of the Skies, I'm not afraid to fly, it's just weird to fly using a stick. You know the people of Midgard believe that witches fly in the sky using brooms, and this myth seems to be almost true in these bizarre islands." Gudrun said, exposing a fact that he considered interesting.

"Brooms? Humans really believe that witches are flying in the sky using brooms. Humans have too much free time to imagine such strange things." She said Eda, looking amused at the idea of flying using a broom of all things possible.

Gudrun decided to lower his gaze to learn more about the island here.

Below him are plains and forests tinged with orange, followed by huge Titan ribs and other oddities hard to describe.

"For a huge decaying corpse, this place is beautiful. It doesn't compare to Asgard or some places in Midgard, but it definitely is in the top 10." Gudrun murmured, watching how the whole landscape is tinged with the colors of the sunset.

The land and the trees below are composed of a myriad of shades of orange, ranging from the color of sand to the color of peaches or oranges.

Mountains of solid bones arch into the distant sky, much like the city before, carving into the cloud line by the dozen, each of the individual curved rib-like spikes extending high above Eda and Gudrun.

In the distance, the same fuchsia sea and the same purple sky stretch out endlessly, broken only by the golden clouds and the faint silhouettes of islands in the distance, the white light of the sun sparkling on the waves.

"I'll probably use my surroundings as inspiration for one of my art projects. Too bad Loki couldn't come, he'd definitely like this place." Gudrun said, pretty sure his second big brother would have fun in this slightly dystopian world or Dark Fantasy depending on your point of view.

"Anyway, welcome to the Boiling Isles. Once the age of the Gods has begun to end. All due to the invasion of Sephar in 12,000 BC, the rebellion of Gilgamesh and the disappearance of Solomon.

Most magical beings have begun to migrate to the Reverse of the World, the layer of the World that preserves the laws of the Age of Gods, hosting Ghost Species and every sort of creature and / or magical being, presumably the Divine Spirits are bottom in the lower layer of the Reverse of the World.

The Boiling Islands are located on the surface at the Reverse of the World, and are home to the youngest and most civilized creatures. My ancestors like many of the others decided to live on the Titan, the latest victim of Sefar. "Eda explained, giving an introduction to the Boiling Isles and explaining how they were formed.

"Surprisingly informative, you don't seem like the kind of woman who puts the emphasis on classical education." Gudrun said, finding it difficult to associate a normal teacher with wild Eda.

"Don't get used to it. I didn't like school. But it seems fair to give a more exact explanation to a newcomer to the Hot Isles." Eda said, starting to lower her club height.

"Yes, do you understand so easily that I am a stranger?" He asked Gudrun, hoping to be able to mingle with the local population.

"You're a round-eared human in possession of Magical Circuits, this kind of thing never set foot on the island.

Virtually every magical user on the island has a physical magical core around their heart, called valknut. "Eda explained, saying how life on the Titan's surface evolved.

The couple dressed in red finally landed in a small clearing in the woods.

Gudrun moved to get off Eda's flying staff, preferring to have the earth under her feet or fly with her wings.

CRACK

The third prince of Asgard heard a strange creak, turning his head to see Eda's hand, detached from her body and still attached to the staff.

"If you're not looking to audition for the role of Thing T. Thing from The Addams Family, I think we have a problem." He said Gudrun, pointing to the disembodied hand.

"Oh, sorry, sometimes it happens." He said Eda, taking her hand back and reattaching it to her arm.

"If it's magic I want to learn it, if it's a biological function, I want to study your biology." He said Gudrun, wanting to learn the secret of this strange trick.

"It's just something that happens as you get older, don't worry." He explained Eda, feeling slightly uncomfortable when Gudrun talks about studying biology.

The strongest witch of the Hot Isles, using both her hands grabs her staff, bringing back to normal, her owl's wings have folded and the golden glow of her eyes faded.

"Eda was nice to be your accomplice, but I got lost on this island and I have to find my guardian, Merlin." She said Gudrun, deciding to go back to town and find her teacher who keeps losing him in every corner of several worlds.

"Oh, I'll help you, human, only if you help me first!" She said Eda, starting to walk away.

"Follow me if you don't want to stay alone in the forest where the wild demons enjoy playing with their prey before eating it." He said Eda, trying to play a dark joke on Gudrun.

"To get something it is necessary to give in exchange something else that has the same value." Gudrun muttered, decided to help Eda to get help in turn in Merlin's search.

XXX

After a short walk through the forest, Eda and Gudrun arrived at their destination.

Gudrun raised an eyebrow at what kind of house Eda lives in.

Eda's lair is as unconventional as her owner. A structure that wants to combine a male cabana and a medieval tower.

The stones that make up the base of the house cut and stacked completely separate from the stones that make up the castle walls and tower, the time and moss on the latter seem to suggest they were much older, as if the house had been built around and within the ruins of a dilapidated and long-forgotten fortress.

Surely Eda found the tower in ruins, then built her house around it. This can be understood from the decrepit state of the tower.

In comparison with the decent state of the house, you can tell by the white stucco of the walls, the roof tiles are neat. ' Gudrun thought, analyzing Eda's house.

"I like the eye-shaped stained glass window with a cat-like pupil with multi-colored gold and purple glasses." Gudrun admitted, finding the stained glass window in Eda's house fascinating.

"For a human you have good taste in architecture. My house is not only as beautiful as I am, but it has one of the most efficient security systems you can find in the Hot Isles!" Eda said, bragging about her beauty and her own. home.

"Hi Eda!" She greeted a high-pitched voice coming from the door, precisely from an ornament that resembles a circular owl face carved with brown eye-smooth stones.

"This is something we don't have on Asgard." Gudrun stated, not knowing how to act with a talking door ornament.

"Password please!" He requested the ornament similar to an owl's face.

"This is your security system, a weird talking face? The guards must be very lazy and incompetent." Gudrun muttered, not believing this thing could stop a stray cat, let alone a squad of armed guards.

"We don't have time for this, Hooty, let us in." Eda said, poking her fingers into the eye of the ornament on the door.

"Is it really necessary to harm this poor creature?" He asked for Gudrun, causing pity for Hooty and how he is treated by Eda.

"Okay, okay! Damn! You never want to have fun." Hooty said, open your mouth until the entire door is gone showing the inside of the house.

Eda didn't give Gudrun an answer, she just grabs his hand and pulls him inside the house.

"Heeeeey, who's the newcomer?" Do we have a new roommate? Where is he from? Will she stay with us for a while? Wait by any chance is your long lost son !? "Hooty said, starting to talk endlessly.

'I'm starting to understand why Eda is mean to Hooty. I understand that, but I don't approve of animal abuse, even if they are talkers. ' Gudrun thought, starting to feel a headache from Hooty.

Before the sentient adornment can continue to speak and cause an aneurysm to celebrate.

Eda does the right thing and turns, grabs the handle and closed it, banging it hard.

"I'm sorry about that. Hooty gets excited when people visit." Eda said, apologizing for the overly friendly behavior of her security system.

"Thank you for silencing the creature. But you turned off the light and I don't have night vision." Gudrun said, not liking being in the dark with a woman he just met in a strange hut in the middle of the forest ...

"I'll take your word for it. In any case, welcome to ..." Eda paused dramatically.

"The Owl House!" Eda yelled in her grand, arrogant tone, she raised a hand and snapped her fingers.

Suddenly, light floods the room as candles are lit throughout the room, lit by even more golden magic of Eda, on the coffee tables, on the cabinets, on the candlesticks and all over the bar.

As the fireplace comes to life, the flame cast a brilliant orange-gold glow into the room along with a pleasant warmth.

Above, the light makes its way through the pattern on the ceiling, the seemingly random engravings quickly transform into another stylized owl, although this one was different from the previous ones; the former ones were simple, with folded wings and smooth heads.

This one had wings spread, with claws, tail feathers and horns on display, extending almost from wall to wall and looking less like a carving or etching and more like a constellation.

A long, thin crown extends over his head, and Gudrun finds it difficult to tell whether the light in the center of his head was a beak or a singular eye.

"Where I hide away from the pressures of modern life, the cops, eh ... also, ex-boyfriends!" Eda said in an affectionate voice.

"Eda you just grew up in my eyes. Maybe your house is not a huge mansion or gold compound with a thousand-year history. But I really like the owl theme and the mystical atmosphere of the place. I might think about moving here if the basement can be turned into a laboratory by Magus. " Gudrun said, appreciating the Owl House and seriously considering copying the look of Eda's haunted house.

"Do you live here alone or should I expect a crow lord or lady?" She asked Gudrun, wanting to know if she has to worry about a second unique case like Eda.

"There is no man who can stand up to me. At the moment I'm single and I live with a couple of roommates. You've already met Hooty, and the other ..."

A sound of stuff falling to the ground interrupts Eda followed by the sound of small, loud footsteps, as if a child tries to make as much noise as possible as he descends the houses.

There was a splashing sound, followed by several small, muffled footsteps; a distant door opened before there was a soft but audible creak of wood, as if a child were stepping on the floorboards as hard as he could.

With each creak, the noise approached, gradually turning the corner towards the hall entrance.

"Eda you brought the offering for me, the Demon King!" She screamed a small, childish voice trying to sound like Batman.

Gudrun saw a tiny four-legged creature coming down the stairs. It resembles a kind of small dog combined with a fox, charcoal black colored fur with the torso and tip of the tail covered with light gray colored fur.

Its head is covered with a dog skull with white horns on its head, one of which is broken. His eyes have pink irises with yellow sclera.

Around his neck he wears a red collar with a yellow card.

It basically resembles a pet trying to cosplay a Pokémon Cubone.

"This is the second most adorable creature in the world. Fou just gained a rival for the most adorable creature a magical user can have." Gudrun said, approaching the smallest and loveliest "Demon King" that has ever existed.

"Kneel insolent!" King yelled, in his childish voice, miserably trying and failing to sound intimidating.

"You are the most adorable baby demon I've seen in my life!" Gudrun exclaimed, starting to stroke King's head and scratch him under the jaw.

"I wonder what you turn into?

Merlin says that little Fou can become a huge apocalyptic creature for mankind if she is let loose or gets a malevolent teacher.

But what do you become, a huge wolf comparable to the dreaded Fenrir or a huge hellish goat-man creature? "Gudrun muttered, continuing to expose his ideas about small creatures transforming into magical creatures of mass destruction.

"Once I have found my crown, I will regain my ancient power and take revenge for your insolence!" King shouted, struggling enough to escape from Gudrun's grasp.

"Eda! Who is this intruder !?" King asked, hiding behind Eda like a frightened child seeking refuge behind her mother.

"King, this is Gugu the human, he's here to help us with our little ... situation." He has explaining Eda, intentionally mistaking Gudrun's name and calling him a human again.

"My name is Gudrun Frostrom and I am an Asgardian, how difficult it is to remember this detail!" He yelled Gudrun, not supporting the pet nickname and being called human for the umpteenth time.

"You are sure you are what you say, under the smell of flowers you smell of human, human capable of using magic, but still human, even if there is a subtle trace of something strange." He said Eda, rummaging so much through the human and demonic garbage that he could identify the smell of the respective species.

"Merlin, in addition to being the Wizard of the Flowers, is half incubus and half human. Being his favorite pupil it is normal that the smell of him has stuck to me." Gudrun said, giving a logical explanation why it smells of flowers and a human-hybrid ?.

"Eda, your son is disrespectful, punish him!" King shouted, wanting to see Gudrun punished for his insolence.

"He is not my son / mother!" Eda and Gudrun shouted at the same time again, scaring little King for a moment.

'Because Loki can transform into all kinds of people and species, while I'm stuck with a simple change in hair, eye and skin color.' Gudrun thought, wishing he had slightly changed his appearance once he arrived on the Hot Isles. Unfortunately Gudrun's current colors match Eda's colors too much, causing this misunderstanding.

"King, you've known me all your life, in this time frame have I ever mentioned a steady boyfriend or a desire to have children?" Eda said, trying to reason with King that she is glaring at Gudrun.

"He could be the bastard son of one of your ex-girlfriends. Sometimes the fathers walk away, they leave their ex-lovers pregnant and they don't find out until later that they have fathered a child. It could be the same thing. for you." King explained, exposing knowledge a child shouldn't know.

"How do you know such a thing? That's how it should work, two women alone cannot have children of their own." She asked Eda, knowing if she was worried about King's upbringing or angry at being considered the kind of person who leaves her lover pregnant and runs away from her responsibilities.

"When you go away to work and leave me home alone, I read what I find, some of your books have weird ideas in them. But I can use them to manipulate others and gain political power to make a coup." King said, confessing to reading Eda's personal inappropriate books to a child and making one of her usual delusions of grandeur.

"Actually Merlin told me that once I help a woman disguised as a man conceive an heir with another woman. Using complicated magic he can temporarily make a woman into a kind of pseudo-male, then he does the intimate stuff. as adults, it all ends with two women having their own baby. " Gudrun said, slightly embarrassed, pointing to one of the strange stories that Merlin told.

'I knew that magic can do anything, but this is new. I'm slightly intrigued by the idea of switching roles, too bad the risk of becoming a father is too scary to try. ' Eda thought, feeling a feeling of panic and horror at the idea of seeing one of her ex-girlfriends leaving a basket with a baby in it at the door.

"Your ruler is confused! This pretender to the throne is your son or not. Because he didn't give up my position without a fight!" King stated, sounding like an adopted child worried about being replaced by his surrogate mother's biological child.

"He is not my son, I am sure of that. There is no one who can take your position, you are one of a kind." Eda said, in one of her very rare moments of motherhood.

"I have parents and a couple of older siblings who can prove that I was born on Asgard and that I have never set foot on these strange islands before." Gudrun said, confirming Eda's words, still unaware of her true origins.

"King, why don't you go to the kitchen and eat my offerings, I need to have a chat with Gugu." She said Eda, putting King down and pulling out of her lock of hair some sort of snack for King.

"Is the adorable little monarch your adopted child, surrogate brother, family member, talking pet?" He asked Gudrun, slightly curious to understand the connection between the witch and the most adorable demon in the world.

"A combination of all four. I found King a year ago when I was hiding from the authorities." Eda replied, not wanting to go into detail on how she met King.

"Now, let's go to the kitchen to eat with the little monarch or discuss our business." He asked Gudrun, wanting to know what to do to finalize his part of the deal.

"I need you to pass through a barrier created specifically to keep out a powerful Witch like me." Eda said what she wants from Gudrun.

"If you want my help, I need more details, I'm good at fighting and magic, but I can't read minds." He said Gudrun, wanting to know the details before taking the job.

"Here's the explanation." Eda said, stepping back, his fingertips glisten as he reaches out, and draws a circle in the air, each hand leaving trails of light behind to complete the glowing golden shape.

When it was complete, the inside of the circle turned pitch black.

At that moment Gudrun glimpsed for a second some kind of glyph inside the circle.

"My problem is a person, Ogren who works among the guards." Eda said, making the circle glow, showing stylized images like mosaics or paintings of an intimidating man dressed in black armor inside.

"An acquaintance of mine told me that Ogren is taking bribes from questionable people.

Whenever one of Ogren's friends commits a crime, Ogren makes someone else to blame. "Eda said, the circle shows pictures of Ogren receiving large amounts of money from shady people to get out of trouble.

"Ogren, they call him the Nightmare Warrior, because his skill with the sword and magic terrifies all criminals.

He is usually on patrol around town with his men. Other than that, he often goes to the garrison headquarters.

His friends go straight to his private room to hand him the bribes. "Eda said, the circle shows various images of Ogren doing various activities including beating the shit out of petty thieves and receiving money in exchange for forgiveness or tampering with evidence.

"Ogren keeps a record of all of his legitimate and illegitimate activities, kept in an underground vault of the garrison headquarters, behind a force field that only Ogren can pass, except you.

You see, you are a stranger, the fruit of an unknown lineage in the Islands, the barrier will not be able to identify you or stop you because it does not know what you are. "Explained Eda, because she wants Gudrun's help, the barrier is designed to keep out witches and demons, not whatever exactly Gudrun is.

"If you help me get my hands on the ledger behind the barrier, I'll help you find this, Merlin from here you speak. Do you accept the deal?" Eda asked, with a gentle smile and spreading her arms.

"Before accepting, can I ask some questions?" Gudrun said, wanting to take the assignment and put down a corrupt man, but the reasonable (and slightly paranoid) side of him tells him to ask a few questions to understand how sincere Eda is.

"Well, considering what I'm asking you to do, I think it's reasonable to answer a few questions." Eda replied, crossing her arms and waiting for Gudrun to ask his questions.

"I have three questions.

Number one, you said you are the most powerful witch in the islands. Why don't you just destroy the barrier, take the log and run away? "Gudrun said, raising his arm and lifting a finger.

"You're awake. Sure I can break the barrier if I try a little, but if I destroy it the alert system is activated. Fighting only Ogren is a headache, but I can do it.

Fighting Ogren together with the entire garrison and making my way through the entire fortress is a completely different story, I could do it, but it would be too tiring and risky, better proceed with a more subtle approach.

Try to imagine Ogren's look when I take the register and publish in the newspaper his reputation and pride will be destroyed forever. "She said Eda, with a smile, leaning forward, bringing herself to eye level with him. Gudrun.

"Second question. Why don't we attack Ogren on his day off or when he's away from his men. Can I play victim or something, lured him to a secluded place, then ..." Gudrun stopped talking, creating a semi-transparent illusory knife and passing it through his neck.

"No, no, no! Premeditated murder is something I don't do, I'm a thief and a con artist, not a cold-blooded killer." She exclaimed Eda, not wanting to plan how to kill a corrupt man with the help of a child. Everyone has their limits and Eda's is to involve children in jobs that end up with a fresh corpse in the alleys of the city.

"And if we do that we will only cure the symptoms and not the disease. Ogren is a corrupt bastard, but not the only one. If only he disappears, all his friends will still be at large and will do business with Ogren's successor.

If we take the log, Ogren and all his friends will be finished, my friend to friends in the upper floors who can solve the problem, but need proof before acting. "Explained Eda, who wants to take the log to delete the problem from the root.

"Third and final question. This problem is the kind of thing a hero would try to solve.

Personally, I have no problem dressing up in a fancy costume and mask, climbing rooftops under the gaze of the moon and punishing evildoers. "Gudrun said, with a childish smile and stars in her eyes.

"I don't want to insult you or make you feel bad, but you don't seem like a heroic person who lives and dies for the good of the people, willing to risk his life for a cause or an ideal." She said Gudrun, trying to say in her own way that Eda is not one of the heroes Gudrun reads in Merlin's books or from here aspires to be.

"They called me much worse. Do you really believe that I am not capable of being selfless, thinking about the good of my community and doing something without asking for anything in return?" Eda said, in a false offended tone.

"I'm young, not naive." Gudrun replied, not buying Eda's drama.

"I admit I have something to gain. Ogren is corrupt, but very competent and capable.

Under his leadership the guards became much more capable and better organized, which made my sales of human "treasures" more dangerous.

Ogren's friends could be made up of my competitors in the illegal potions market, and maybe some people here owe a certain amount of money.

If Ogre and his friends go to jail, my life and my business will get a lot easier. "Eda said, explaining that he wants to put Ogren down not only because he's corrupt, but also because it would benefit him in so many ways.

"Is there anything else by chance?" Gudrun said, believing there must be more.

"Behind the barrier is not only the register, but also a lot of precious goods that I would like to end up in my possession." He confessed Eda, also wanting to take some gold items along with the log full of evidence.

"You want me to collect incriminating evidence of a dangerous magical swordsman and at the same time steal a large sum of money in the form of artifacts or objects of high value." He asked Gudrun, seeing if he understood what he should do.

"I could not have summarized the objectives of this dangerous task better than you. Do you accept the deal?" She said Eda, happy to see that the boy understands what he wants from him and she doesn't seem to want to go back.

"I only accept if you agree with my terms." Gudrun replied, pulling out the diary from Eda's stall.

She by writing a Complex Rune on the diary to tear off the page, leaving it on the floor. In an instant, a throne of wood and stone came out of the floor.

"How did you manage to create the throne without using a magic circle?" She asked Eda, seeing no such means of using magic.

"My Father taught me the secrets of the Primordial Runes, they are very difficult to use, but they have many uses, it all depends on who uses them. Not to brag, but they are a kind of prodigy of Runes and Magic in general." Gudrun said, sitting on the throne of wood and stone.

"You ask me to accomplish two goals, to be even you must accomplish two goals for me." Gudrun said, explaining his reasoning, two jobs for two favors.

"Let's hear, what do you want from the Owl Lady?" She asked Eda, crossing her arms, wanting to hear Gudrun's requests.

The Third Prince of Asgard wrote in his diary the same symbol he saw in the magic circle of Eda, then tore the page off, throwing it in mid-air.

The sheet is burned, releasing the same magic that Eda used earlier to show abstract images.

"Did you just copy my spell after seeing it once?" Eda exclaimed, blinking several times not believing her eyes.

"When you made your magic circle I saw some kind of mark. I just wrote the symbol on the paper and I get a copy of your magic." She simply explained Gudrun, convincing Eda that there is not only youthful arrogance when she said she was a wizard of magic.

"Getting back on track. First of all I want you to help me find Merlin. It can be a headache and I get lost in one way or another on every school trip or learning trip we've ever seen. But I want to find him again before that. get into trouble with an influential, powerful and vengeful woman. " She said Gudrun, showing a picture of Merlin getting into trouble with several women.

"Normally my Merlin study trips focus on learning a new type of magic or around a previous study subject. But this trip is special." She said Gudrun, in a narrator's voice, attracting Eda's attention and not just because this Merlin sounds fascinating.

"Merlin's life is steeped with mystery. It is said that his mother di lui was a princess of Wales, but it is also said that his father was supposedly a supernatural incubus who lived in the gap between the Earth and the moon.

I recently learned from Merlin himself that he had siblings.

They are entirely demons or hybrids of a unique cross. But his brothers died or disappeared for reasons he never explained to me.

We came here, to the Hot Isles, because a short while ago, Merlin had a vision that revealed the location of one of his brothers, Alastor.

This brother of his is found sealed inside an artifact found on this island. Eda, I want you to use your long list of contacts in the underworld to find out where Alastor's prison may be. "Gudrun explained, telling Eda her two conditions for receiving her help.

"Help me get the incriminating evidence and a small fortune. In return, I'll help you find your handsome Merlin hunk and ask around for Alastor, right?" Eda said, summing up the whole deal in a few words.

Gudrun nods at Eda's words, confirming what he wants from her.

"Now that each of us knows what the other wants, shall we take the deal?" He asked Gudrun, extending his hand to Eda.

"Kid, you've earned a hell of a deal." Eda replied, shaking Gudrun's hand, in the next instant a series of Primordial Runes appeared on top of Eda and Gudrun's hands, creating a kind of magical chain that disappeared in a second.

"What did you just do?" Eda asked, invoking her staff and pointing it at Gudrun who remains calm with a smile on his lips.

"What just happened is called Geas, it's my insurance to keep promises.

The Geas is a magical contract made between two people whose magic they themselves possess, keeping each of the parts of the Geas bound to the contract, otherwise they face terrible punishment.

Geas must be done voluntarily and knowingly by all sides, although they don't need to fully understand the implications of what they are agreeing to or be aware of how you intend to take advantage of it. "Gudrun explained, rising from the wooden throne and stone, approaching Eda and meeting her gaze as a sign of defiance.

"Human, you are a smart and daring boy. I like him, I would be a very good accomplice." Eda said, approving of the trick Gudrun just did.

"Shall we stay and talk or are we going to have a magical madness?" Gudrun said, wanting to finish the agreed part of her as quickly, so the faster Eda would start helping him find Merlin and the artifact that keeps Alastor locked up.

"You're right, we don't have time to waste!" He said Eda, lifting Gudrun by the waist and carrying him like a sack of potatoes.

"Put me down, I can walk alone!" He said Gudrun, wanting to be put down.

"King, stay home or come with us!" Eda shouted, ignoring Gudrun's claims, this he receives for cheating Eda with the Geas.

"Do you want to bring the puppy with us too !?" He shouted Gudrun, not liking that Eda wants to take little King with her.

"Today we will take control of the garrison fortress, tomorrow the whole world will be ours!" He yelled King, running towards them, enjoying the idea of "conquering" a castle full of armed guards under the guidance of a dangerous magical swordsman.

'A lying witch, a baby demon and an Asgard prince on a broom ... sounds like the start of a bad joke.' Gudrun thought, before taking to the sky once more with Eda's staff.

Shortly thereafter, the trio arrived in front of an immense, heavily reinforced fortress that could withstand a massive siege for several days.

"Is it really necessary to get this job done today? I'd rather have a few days to study the building and its occupants. Knowing the guards' schedule and their protocols would be handy." Gudrun said, beginning to rethink Eda's carefree approach that she doesn't consider herself in any real danger.

"Where did all that drive go from earlier, don't tell me you want to back off right now we're about to start." Eda said, spinning the stick out of boredom.

"I've put my grit aside in favor of analytical and logical thinking. I don't want to give up the deal, I'm using my head to increase the odds of success." Gudrun said, having no problem improvising, but he prefers to have the time to prepare properly.

"Do you want a plan? Here's a plan, you and King will sneak to the top of that tower, give him a dungeon. King has a special nose and he'll take you to the barrier." Eda said, pointing to the central structure of the fortress.

"In the meantime you two infiltrate inside, I make sure the forces left defending the fortress are distracted." Eda said, with a smirk on her face and clutching her cane.

"This is barely a plan. We can't wait for night to rise, it will make it easier, I'm good at using darkness to hide." Gudrun said, disliking Eda's simpleton plan that too many holes to work the way the strongest Witch in the Hot Isles wants.

"We can't wait, Ogren just went off patrol and will return when the moon rises. We have to strike now that the cat is out of the house." He explained Eda, why they have to act now.

"Give me at least half an hour to prepare a plan B." She asked Gudrun, wanting to at least prepare something for the worst case scenario.

"You have 15 minutes to come up with something, not a second more." Eda stated, sitting down on a rock, with King sitting on top of her head.

"You're lucky that once I find myself cornered you brought out the best and the worst of what I can do." Gudrun said, pulling a small bag full of money out of his poncho, then tossing it directly into Eda's hands.

"I said 15 minutes, I meant ..." Gudrun threw a second purse full of money "one hour. You have an hour to prepare all the tricks you want." He said Eda, taking her bribes and putting them in her wild hair.

"Now there is hope that we can succeed in the undertaking that we have set ourselves." He said Gudrun, pulling out a morning and the diary, before running off to fabricate a plan that was crazy enough to work.

XXX

An hour and 10 minutes later, the whole castle that looks like something out of a Dark Fantasy movie.

The place is full of torches that illuminate the gray walls of dark stone. The whole place is bleak and spartan, having few luxuries or furniture, looking more like a prison than the low rise of a law enforcement headquarters.

In this place the only people wandering the corridors are the low-level guards who are patrolling the tentacle streets of the castle.

Suddenly King came out from around the corner, strangely covered with stone, the same type of stone that makes up the castle walls.

"Bow before me, because I am invulnerable!" King yelled, urging the guards to attack.

"Shut up, you breed of dog!" He yelled at the guard, swinging his sword and failing to hurt King due to the stone casing.

"Dare to attack the invincible demon king! Dark Knight finish him!" King said, snapping his fingers.

Over the next few seconds, a mysterious figure bounced off the walls, hitting the guards with a devastating combination of punching and kicking.

"Seven seconds to defeat the enemy, a new record." King said, starting to clap at his dark knight who turned out to be a Gudrun coated his head and feet with an obsidian-like material.

"King, please stay close to me and don't run ahead. The second stone skin doesn't make you unbeatable, just a lot stronger than normal." Gudrun said, lifting King up and placing him on his right shoulder.

"I say let him have fun, not every day I gain a dark knight willing to defeat his enemies." Eda said, just walking into the corridor, she too is clad in a kind of second stone skin.

"I have to admit that your plan is a lot more fun than mine. All three of us fly into the tower, you do your many tricks with metal and alchemy, while I watch the comedy show offered by King and the his knight. " Eda said, enjoying seeing Gudrun and King take care of the guards who still haven't realized that there are intruders in their base.

"It's not a magic trick, it's an innate ability. All high-level Asgardians have some sort of unique ability.

Heimdall sees everything in the nine realms, Thor can control the weather, Loki completely changes shape on a whim, I can absorb metals and matter to build a second protective skin that increases strength. "Gudrun explained, flapping his hands and using the alchemy Amestris to hide the unconscious bodies inside the walls and the floor leaving small holes to breathe.

"The Humans have enjoyed exploring and inventing new types of magic, I'm almost jealous." She told Eda, continuing to observe Gudrun that she uses a new form of magic or a strange power.

"Intruders!" She yelled a new group of guards who just arrived.

"Asgardian!" She exclaimed Gudrun, modeling the matter that covers her body to create a shield and a large mace.

"Have no mercy on your enemies my brave dark knight!" She yelled King, enjoying seeing the guards being beaten and overwhelmed by Gudrun's superhuman strength.

"I'm the only one who works here." She muttered Gudrun, blocking a guard's sword strike with the shield and knocking him out. with a blow to the head.

Once yet another patrol was devastated by the Prince of Asgard, King began sniffing the air and found something.

"The barrier! It's close! I can smell the hidden treasures!" She shouted King, running on all fours to the final destination of this mission.

The adorable little Demon King leads Eda and Gudrun to a huge gate that towers over them at the end of the hall.

"The treasure belongs only to the King!" King shouted, rushing to the door, scratching the surface with claws and squat, ineffective grunts.

"He's so cute when he's thirsty for power," Eda said, laughing at King's antics.

"Dark Knight, open the door for your King!" She shouted King, stopping hitting the gate because it is too humble a task for such a great king.

"You heard, you have to tear the gate apart." She said Eda, amused to see someone "obeying" the little monarch.

"Sometimes violence isn't the solution. Just use your head." Gudrun said, touching the door and absorbing the matter that makes up the gate.

'Analysis.' Gudrun thought, using magic to get a mental picture of the lock.

After that he used his Osmosian power to turn the index finger into a perfect key to unlock the door.

"You see, a little delicacy and ingenuity can work wonders." She said Gudrun, opening the ease gate, letting Eda and Gudrun into the hall / bunker that contains the object of their mission.

"Are you sure you want to go back to this Merlin, a boy full of surprises like you can come in handy." She said Eda, partly joking and partly serious.

So far Gudrun proving to be very intelligent, skilled in sales and magic, possessing unusual abilities. Surely Eda's life would be easier if she had her services.

"I'll think about it once we're done with our deal." Gudrun replied, entering the room.

The Third Prince of Asgard found a huge pillar of light positioned in the center of the room that casts a mysterious golden glow across the room.

The little Demon King rushes towards the pillar of light, trying to break through with the stone-clad head / skull.

Perhaps Gudrun's upgrade made her resistant to swords and slightly enhanced his strength, but that's not enough to destroy the barrier.

It was no surprise when King bounces back like a tennis ball, hitting his head down on the floor and crashing to his chin.

"Did you hurt yourself?" Gudrun asked, grabbing King, before he could try to break through the barrier with his head again and risk getting really hurt.

"King, we have a human, remember?" Eda said, with a gentle smile, stroking King's head.

The Owl Lady enjoyed seeing Gudrun's adorable frown when he is called a human by Eda.

King's eyes widen for a second, as if he has forgotten that the role of Gudrun is not his fearless knight but a key.

"Oh yes! Dark Knight crosses the barrier and bring me a treasure worthy of a king!" King said, wanting the treasures behind the barrier for himself and Eda.

"Through the barrier, I take a log full of incriminating evidence and some precious-looking items." Gudrun said, summarizing what he has to grasp.

"Fill your pockets well, an occasion like this doesn't happen so often." Eda said, taking King in her arms and patting Gudrun on the back.

Taking a deep breath, the Third Prince of Asgard crosses the barrier without any difficulty, as if the barrier does not exist for him.

Once inside the barrier, Gudrun saw a series of U-shaped shelves, filled with various precious objects of the highest value. In the center of the barrier is a marble pillar with a small safe on it.

"If I've learned anything from the Midgard stories, touching the object placed on top of a pillar sets off the alarm. Better grab the treasures first, then grab the prize." Gudrun muttered, starting to take several high-value items and put you under the poncho.

"A gold crown for King, a pillar of diamonds for Eda and me ..." Gudrun has started looking around for a treasure for himself, perhaps he is crazy enough to take on a potentially fatal assignment to two strangers, but he's not stupid enough to take something for himself.

"Hi, buddy, do you want to take a ride with the Third Prince of Asgard and Merlin's favorite pupil?" Gudrun asked, speaking to the object that aroused his interest: a cane with a vintage-style microphone attached to it.

When Gudrun raised his cane, he felt a shiver run through his body.

If there had been a mirror in the Gudrun she would have seen that his appearance changed the instant he touched the stick.

His silver hair has turned red in color with a black tip at the bottom and two large tufts of black-tipped hair extending from the top of his head, resembling deer ears.

His golden eyes have gained a blood-red sclere, bright red irises, black pupils.

A huge smile with sharp yellow teeth appeared on Gudrun's face.

"Stay tuned, the show is about to start soon." Gudrun said (?), Before returning to his normal state, completely unaware of what just happened.

The Third Prince of Asgard went in front of the safe, if he had been a simpleton he would have absorbed the matter of the safe and created a huge fist / hammer to smash the safe.

"Thor is stuck in Asgard remedial classes at the academy. Loki is learning new tricks with his mom. I'm drawing an alchemical circle to open a corrupt officer's safe. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the luckiest or most unlucky of Princes. of Asgard. " Gudrun murmured, finishing the alchemical circle, slamming his hands a new door appeared on the safe which only needs to pull the handle to open the door and nothing else.

"A bunch of wads and a single big book chock full of compromising names, addresses and details." Gudrun said, describing the contents of the safe and leafing through Ogren's book.

Upon exiting the barrier, Gudrun received a welcome from King who leapt in place, saying, "My Dark Knight what booty have you brought to your King !?"

"Things a king without a crown." Gudrun replied, giving the little demon king a golden crown slightly too large for King's small head.

"Yes! Yes! I feel I am becoming a True Demon King!" King exclaimed, sounding invigorated and full of happiness.

"I see you took a nice stick in passing, you also took some for me." He asked Eda, taking a quick glance at the strange stick that Gudrun took, swearing he saw that stick in an old book on dangerous demons.

"I hope you like a column of diamonds." He said Gudrun, handing Eda a gold column full of very large diamonds.

"I will steal the hearts of all the men and women in the market with this trinket." He said Eda, wearing the column and doing some modeling poses.

"By the way thanks for getting them a crown, I always wanted to have one, but they're hard to find." Eda said, with a smile, putting a hand on Gudrun's shoulder.

"You really care about King." Gudrun said, with a little jealousy in his voice.

The Third Prince of Asgard, watch as King is eagerly adjusting the crown, clearly trying to adjust the angle so it looks better above his head, occasionally needing to grab it before he falls to the floor again.

"Okay, look here Gugu. King and I, we don't have much in life to consider ours, but we only have the weird we have to stick together." Eda said, smiling again, this time more softly, giving a caress on Gudrun's head.

This last gesture broke a barrier around the mind and heart of the Third Prince of Asgard.

"After all, you are a good person, Eda.

You know besides Merlin, my mother and my older brothers, I don't have many other friends or sources of affection.

The only thing my father ever gave me that I liked was the Primordial Runes, otherwise he and I were never in tune.

In fact I have never integrated with the rest of the people of Asgard, I am too weak and abnormal by normal Asgard standards.

I believe this is the reason why I accept every opportunity to travel with Merlin.

Is it wrong that I prefer to be here on a crazy island in the company of a witch and a demon, instead of being on Asgard and talking to my father? "Gudrun asked, having a fairly serious emotional outburst.

"Maternal thing ... maternal gesture!" Eda said, trying to console Gudrun in a strange way, with a kind of complicated pat on the back of him.

"The last moments never exist." Gudrun said, taking a few breaths and inhales to calm down and get composed.

"Are you feeling okay my Dark Knight?" King asked, seeing Gudrun's full outburst and Eda's nasty comfort.

"I feel a strange burning in my chest and have complicated emotions about my belonging to Asgard. Otherwise I am well enough to get out of here and return to the House of the Owl." Gudrun replied, scratching his chest, they do not notice that the thin stick he took is emitting a pale red glow that is barely noticeable.

Gudrun took a few steps towards the exit, but got a head spin, causing falling if he didn't use the stick as a foothold.

"I rectify I also have a slight headache and hallucination. I'm seeing a hitodama, a spherical ball in which it has a tail on top." Gudrun said, holding a hand on his forehead, his eyes are glowing red.

"We need to get back to the Owl House as quickly as possible and get a medical check-up." Eda said, in an alarmed tone, taking Gudrun and lifting like a sack of potatoes.

'Could the barrier have damaged it in some way or touched a cursed artifact?' Eda thought, finding only two explanations for Gudrun's symptoms: Emotional explosions, burning in the chest, dizziness and the vision of souls.

"Eda, I see a lot of people gathering on the surface." Gudrun said, managing to sense the presence of the guards who are preparing something.

"Don't worry baby, I can take care of myself." Eda said, in a smug tone, trying her luck.

In the next second the gate closed by itself and the chamber floor began to glow.

A flash of light engulfed the entire chamber, making Eda, King and Gudrun disappear.

XXX

The trio reappeared on the surface in the courtyard of the garrison fortress, surrounded by guards.

"Teleportation magic, you don't often see stuff like that, especially used to create traps." Eda said, cursing herself for not having thought there was another safety measure besides the barrier.

In front of the unnamed guard are two intimidating men.

Captain Ogren, a large, muscular man with purple skin and black hair. To an unusual hairstyle with four ponytails or braids on the back of the head wrapped in white cloth. A large star-shaped scar on the left eye is missing, while the remaining eye is red with a black sclera. He is dressed in a kind of black and gray colored knight armor. With a triangular brass badge on it, which apparently emphasizes his position.

Beside him is Vice-Captain Wrath, a humanoid creature with a large, muscular build. He wears a sleeveless white tunic with brass buttons, a leather belt with a brass buckle and black pants tucked into dark purple shoes.

It possesses a monstrous face composed of a huge mouth of large sharp teeth and almost tiny eyes that are difficult to see.

"Eda, the Owl Lady, finally we meet face to face." Ogren said, pulling out his sword.

"How did you know we were coming?" She asked Eda, tightening her grip on King and the ailing Gudrun.

"Not many people know, but besides sword and fire magic, I'm one of the best oracles in the Hot Isles, cost me my eye but once a day I get 90% accurate vision." Ogren explained, with an arrogant smile, revealing the secret of her success.

"You know I was surprised that you would have fathered a half-human child just to get a key to go through the many defenses created on the islands, a brilliant and devious idea." Ogren said, creating Eda to be Gudrun's mother and only born him as a human universal key.

"She is not my son / mother!" Eda and a sweaty Gudrun replied, who are starting to tire of being mistaken as a mother-child pair.

"I don't care about your family problems. You just behead your heads and get the reward on you. Archers take them out!" Ogren yelled, giving him the signal to have his men attack.

The archers fired arrows of fire, ice and lightning at the trio of protagonists.

The Owl Lady struck the ground with her staff, creating a bubble of energy that shields him from the rain of magical arrows.

"Gudrun, take King and get out of here! I'm holding him back!" Eda said, putting Gudrun and King on her stick in takeoff / flying mode.

"We made a deal, I have to help you get out of here." Gudrun replied, sounding as if he was the victim of a bad flu.

"Gudrun, you must go! This is not your battle ... And Gudrun, thank you." Eda said, giving a final farewell to the Third Prince of Asgard.

"Thanks for what! You're sacrificing yourself for me and King!" Gudrun shouted, trying to get up from the stick, but he can't.

"Thank you for being by my side in this endeavor. No one would have helped me for just a few tiny favors. Many would have already taken the opportunity to run away, but you remain to help me even when you feel terrible." Eda said, placing a hand on Gudrun's head.

"Smart people tend to run when things get tough. But you are a crazy, childish, stupid boy.

Certainly the bravest and most stubborn idiot I have met in my entire life.

You remind me of me as a young man, just take care of King for me and continue to stay as you are. "Eda said, before sending Gudrun and King away in her magical staff aka Owlbert.

"I am Eda, the Owl Lady, the Mightiest Witch in the Hot Isles, did not give up without a fight!" She shouted Eda, dropping the defensive dome and starting to fight alone against Ogren, Wrath and his army of Guards.

XXX

While Eda is creating an uproar with her one-on-all fight.

A sick prince and a lovely monarch are flying to the top, both not wanting to escape.

"King can you lead this deal?" She asked Gudrun, pulling something of her out of her poncho, a kind of oddly shaped copper whistle.

"I think so, what do you want to do?" She asked King, hoping that Gudrun will come up with a plan crazy enough to work.

"Simple, I'm going to defeat Ogren, destroy the fortress and take Eda." Gudrun replied, with a smile on her face that belies her poor condition.

"Return with Eda or your king will remove your Dark Knight title." King said, taking Owlbert's "reins".

"I have an ideal to keep. To live as a hero and die as a hero. I could not live up to this ideal if I can keep my promises." She muttered Gudrun, throwing herself off the flying staff and falling towards the battlefield.

'I pass one in three to win. Start plan B. ' She thought Gudrun, using the whistle and playing it loud enough to break people's eardrums.

BLING! BLING!

BLING! BLING!

BLING! BLING!

'Step two, dramatic entry combined with a lot of destruction.' Thought Gudrun, making the black poncho disappear with a magic, revealing the dress that wraps her body, it would be more correct to say, with which her body is cast a gold and obsidian armor that gives off one divine splendor.

A tight-fitting obsidian black colored bodysuit covers everything up to the head except the right arm, the suit itself appears to be completely fused with the individual's skin.

The torso shapes the abdomen with shapes that refer to the musculature, while the two enormous curved horns visibly protrude from the back, covering the backs. Embedded in the chest of the armor is a large oval-shaped crimson stone.

The legs of the individual are completely wrapped in golden armor with black highlights with an elegant and chivalrous design except for the occasional prickly spikes.

Somehow the thin cane with a vintage-style microphone attached to it remained attached to Gudrun's back, thanks to some red fabric straps that appeared by magic.

"Agni Gandiva, come to me!" Gudrun said, invoking in his hands a blue fire that takes the form of a white arch with golden decorations.

The Third Prince of Asgard has nocked two arrows on his favorite bow.

He did not aim for the ground far below, but for the sky. His body feels terrible, a sting is spreading all over the place. But his magic remained intact.

"With my bow and arrows, I respectfully ask for the divine protection of the sun god Apollo and the moon goddess Artemis." Gudrun said, applying magic learned from the ruins of an ancient Greek temple.

The arrows begin to glow in a bewitching way.

The magic he is performing does not focus on the bow or arrows shot from his bow.

The magic uses both as simple catalysts for the real deal, the very technique of nocking and firing arrows with a bow.

"I offer you this calamity. Phoebus's catastrophe: message of complaint on the arrow!" Gudrun shouted, shooting the two arrows towards the sky pierced the clouds and disappear from view, leaving behind a sparkling trail.

Gudrun turns his gaze towards the garrison fortress. His already superhuman eyes are empowered by magic, this allows for unlikely aim and if that weren't enough, one of the side effects of his condition is a radar of souls, no one can hide from Gudrun's sight anymore.

The magic just performed and the two arrows are a denunciation to the gods. The sun god Apollo and the moon goddess Artemis.

The two of them are deities deeply connected to the sun and the moon respectively. Apollo is the god of the bow and arrow and Artemis is the goddess of the hunt.

In compensation for Gudrun, a son of Olympus, who asks them for divine protection, looking for a calamity. In other words, their divine protection amounts to calamity for the enemy.

A faint light fill the sky, along with a soft sound like falling rain.

But it's not something as simple as blessed rain. The malevolent gods seek sacrifice and poured torrential rain under the name of catastrophe.

Arrows of light rain incessantly from the sky and the guards are pierced by arrows one after another.

Thanks to Gudrun's impossible aim, the arrows did not kill anyone for the moment, only terribly wounded the hands, legs and spine of the guards.

Most of the arrows released their full destructive power around the fortress walls, creating numerous holes on each level of the castle.

Ogren, Wrath and Eda were shunned by the rain, because Gudrun even with his aim at the level of the Gods doesn't want to risk hitting Eda in any way.

"Eda, I'm coming to help you!" Gudrun shouted, making two huge silver wings emerge from his back, swooping into the one-on-two battle.

XXX

"What the hell did you do!" Ogren shouted, swinging a flame-shrouded sword that is stopped by an energy shield from Eda.

"I haven't done anything, but I think I know who is responsible." Eda said, rolling to dodge Wrath's blows that turned her punches into hammers.

Ogren and Wrath prepare to execute a simultaneous frontal attack on Eda, but their advance has been stopped by a dozen feather-shaped bullets.

A small angel in golden armor with silver wings has fallen from heaven, landing beside Eda.

"Can you fly and things in gold armor !?" Eda asked, blinking at the sight of Gudrun, dressed as some kind of great hero with wings.

"These wings started appearing once with puberty.

The armor is actually a kind of second skin, he earns it after an accident in India that cost me a whole month of amnesia and other little quirks / surprises. "Gudrun replied, using very short words that explain nothing.

"You can do a second rain of magic arrows, would that help me for sure?" She asked for Eda, hoping that Gudrun can perform a second miracle and end the fight right away before her magic runs out and the curses that earned her the nickname of Lady Owl are activated.

"My current condition and the energy cost of my armor and previous shot prevent me from still making use of Phoebus's Catastrophe: Arrow Complaint Message." Gudrun explained, making her bow disappear, grabbing the staff on her back and using it as a makeshift weapon.

"It means we have to work things out the old way. A two-on-two battle." Eda said, creating two fireballs in her hands.

"Don't worry Plan B will help us in seconds." Gudrun said, taking out the whistle again and using it.

BLING! BLING!

BLING! BLING!

BLING! BLING!

"This is your famous plan B, making us deaf?" Ogren asked, hurrying away from the noise of the

" Wait and see." He said Gudrun, pointing his hand towards the sky, precisely on a black cloud.

No, it is not a cloud, but a huge flock of crows that are carrying ... rats that are playing the role of paratroopers / kamikaze.

"Here's my plan B: An army of crows and rats each carrying a paper with a Primal Explosion Rune combined with a Glyph of Fire. In less than ten minutes the entire castle will blow up." Gudrun replied, with an amused smile on his face.

While the rats fall from the sky and slip through the holes in the walls, dispersing in every possible corner of the fortress, entering the walls and pipes, ending up in places unreachable by normal people.

Ogren, Wrath and Eda are thinking more or less of the same thing: Gudrun is crazy as hell.

"Lady Owl in the name of the Titan how the hell did you raise your child. It is evident that he is mentally disturbed to carry out such a plan." Ogren shouted, angry that his magic failed to foresee Gudrun's plan.

But as he could, his magic is accurate 90% of the time on just a single event of the day.

He foresees such a ridiculous and unlikely plan after Eda's near capture is impossible to predict.

"You say mentally disturbed, I say pure mad genius. An army of explosive mice, such as I have not been able to put into practice such a thing, would have been a year-end joke with all the trimmings." He said Eda, proud to team up with someone who can put such a plan into practice.

"You talk too much, let's fight!" Gudrun said, applying some Reinforcement to his body and sprinting at Ogren.

Gudrun with impressive speed, he hits Ogren with a large club body, breaking Ogren's nose.

When Eda saw him, she gave a small smile.

'This guy has the potential to do great things.' Eda thought as he was slightly impressed, seeing Gudrun's speed and strength.

Ogren collapses to the ground with a thud, blood gushing from his shattered nose.

In a second Ogren stands up as if he were a martial master, shouting like a raging beast: "RAAAAAH!"

Spewing out a river of fire from his mouth, Ogren's attack hit Gudrun. But he remained impassive.

"I'm immune to fire, you corrupt moron." Gudrun said, running through the river of flames and hurting Ogren again, breaking his rib.

"Captain Ogren, how pathetic you are, that you cannot beat me in my moment of weakness ?!" Gudrun said, causing Ogren to attack.

"Did you really think I Ogren could really be killed by a brat like you !?

The weak don't count for anything, only the strong count in this city. It is I who execute the person!

Did you really think you could execute me !? "Ogren shouted, executing a confrontation with his sword with all the strength of his body.

Gudrun decided to protect himself, blocking Ogren's blow using his imaginative staff.

CRACK

A crack has appeared on the staff, releasing a greater amount of red energy that enters Gudrun.

"With that, the opening move is over. Time to prepare for the third step. The show is on the air." Gudrun said (?) As his eyes and hair change color becoming much more demonic.

[Terminus! Terminus! O man form!] He Said Gudrun (?) In a voice that sounds as if it's being broadcast on the radio.

His hands begin to heat up and slowly build up in heat until steam comes out of his fingers.

Suddenly, her hands and his shoes burned flames out of nowhere.

Fire rose on Gudrun's legs and arms.

[Libertas! Libertas! The Mad Deer!] He Said Gudrun (?) As he fell to his knees.

His face changed from his normal skin color to a shade of red next to a tomato as more steam escaped.

[Initium! Initium! The power of the radio!] Gudrun said (?) As the flames covered his face.

Gudrun can feel his skin sizzle and burn to crisp as everything changes.

[Cantat! Cantat! The music of the Radio Demon!] Gudrun said (?) As he was finally covered in a huge fire. Every muscle, tendon, nerve, vein, hair and anything else besides his own bones disappeared along with his own vanished eyeballs.

[Back on air, Alastor!] Gudrun (?) Said as the flames finally subsided.

The one thought to be Gudrun lies on hard ground, except now he looks nothing like him.

The figure is taller than Gudrun with a masculine build.

He started to move, placing both hands on the ground to help himself.

Seconds later, the figure stood facing Ogren, Wrath, and Eda.

A figure 182cm tall, rather thin, with beige skin and sharp yellow teeth.

It sports an angled red short cut with a black tip at the bottom and two large black tipped tufts of hair extending from the top of the head, similar to deer ears, an undercut and two small black horns that can grow in size. in its daemon module.

His eyes have blood-red sclera, bright red irises, black pupils.

He also wears an oval-shaped blood-red monocle over his right eye.

He is wearing a dark red pinstripe coat that is slightly frayed along the hem, a bright red shirt with a black cross on the chest underneath and long burgundy pants with matching bright red cuffs.

He's also dressed in a red knotted bow tie, burgundy gloves, and black pointy boots with red deer hoof prints emblazoned on the soles.

In his hands he carries a thin cane with a vintage-style sentient microphone attached to it which he uses to reproduce sound effects and transmit his voice.

"Sorry son of Demeter for my sudden visit, but I couldn't resist. What a sight! Why, I haven't had so much fun since the 1929 stock market crash, hahaha ... So many orphans." He told the entity that took over the body of the Third Prince of Asgard.

"My dear listeners it was difficult for you to tune in today. But next time I won't take that long. As you know the first time is the hardest." He said the man dressed in red with an ever-present smile.

"Who the hell are you !?" Ogren shouted, attacking the creature, firing a huge ball of fire.

"Where my manners have gone, my name is Alastor, the Radio Demon." Alastor said, hitting the floor with his cane, bringing out a giant radio tower that imprisoned and seriously injured Ogren and Wrath.

"Smile, my dear! You know, you're never fully dressed without one!" He told Alastor, speaking to Eda that she was in shock at the sight of Gudrun / Alastor's transformation.

The words just spoken passed through his microphone then through the radio tower, Alastor's voice having a monstrous effect on the hundreds or miles of rats that are gathering in the garrison fortress, causing them to grow out of proportion, turning mere mice into creatures. as mighty as an adult moose.

"My mother once showed me a wonderful recipe for Jambalaya, in fact, it almost killed her! Hahaha! You could say that football came out of hell! Oh ho ho, I'm on a roll! Yes sir, this is the beginning of some real changes down here! The game is set! "Alastor said, putting his arm around Eda and then disappearing in a flash of green light.

Leaving behind ...

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

A ruined fortress, with an army of guards severely wounded by arrows, victims of the largest rat infestation and animal kamikaze attack in the history of the Hot Isles.

XXX

A few seconds later, the trio or quartet of protagonists, if you want to count Gudrun and Alastor as separate individuals, magically reappeared in the atrium of the House of the Owl.

The sun is setting, slowly dipping over the edge of the sea, the magenta sky briefly tinged to a much brighter pink before fading to a deeper purple, and then to a dark blue on the horizon beyond the forest.

"Demon, what have you done to Gudrun!" Eda yelled, pointing her stick at Alastor's throat who magically prepared a Jambalaya for three.

"Already where my Dark Knight, I need his superhuman strength to conquer the Hot Isles!" King yelled, who received a very short explanation of what happened to his Dark Knight.

"Our deal is almost done. You just have to help me find my big brother, Merlin." Alastor explained, as if the situation was pretty obvious.

"If you don't want to go back to hell in the slowest and most painful way possible, answer my question. What have you done with Gudrun!" Eda shouted, ready to use lethal force on Alastor, without thinking about the consequences and you have collateral damage.

"With pleasure. See, 92 or 920 years ago depending on the flow of dimensional time, I was sealed inside my staff and exiled to this place.

For a long time I was imprisoned and asleep, until little Gudrun woke me up.

I wanted to own him and take control of his body, if he was just a normal Magus I would have succeeded.

But my host is a demigod, son of Uther Pendragon and the goddess Demeter, who was raised by Odin and blessed with many things.

The boy is too unique and complex to be possessed, so I unwittingly ended up being tied to him on a deeply spiritual level.

In short, our lives, souls and bodies are intertwined and nothing can separate us. "Alastor said, every word of him was a heart wound for Eda.

'Because of your greed, this boy was cursed to share his body with this Alastor.' Eda thought, feeling guilty like she has never been before.

"This situation is not perfect, but so many opportunities to stretch the boredom. For so long I am a prisoner of pure, utter boredom!

But this little demigod with real passion! The universe has big plans for this guy and I will enjoy watching him from a front row seat

After all, the world is a stage. And a stage is a world of entertainment. The act with me is over. Stay tuned for my next show. "Alastor said, getting engulfed in flames before returning to being Gudrun.

The Third Prince of Asgard found himself sitting in Alastor's seat, holding a fork with a piece of Jambalaya in his hands.

Gudrun collapsed against Eda's body and I immediately carried her into the living room, placing her on top of the sofa.

XXX

The Owl Lady had to admit that in the last few hours she has grown fond of the Human who turned out to be a Demigod.

Gudrun turned out to be an intelligent boy, courageous, cunning, good at improvising and perhaps a little crazy.

On the other hand, Eda can see more of herself than she should in Gudrun, especially since they find out that he is now cursed with an impossible roommate to throw out.

Alastor's roommate sat motionless in the armchair with his legs in his hands for hours without saying anything or doing anything.

"Well, a pact is a pact, we take you to this Merlin, when will it be difficult to find a man who is partly human and partly demon on these islands?" He has Eda, hoping that ending the part of her okay and bringing him will help Gudrun feel better, as well as lessen the guilt she is feeling.

"Eda, if I remember correctly, you said a boy like me would take you well, right?" Gudrun said, speaking for the first time in hours of eerie silence.

"Yes, today you were fantastic. If I had been around you the last years of my life would have been much easier." Eda said, desperately trying to lift Gudrun's spirits, with compliments.

"I just found out that I am not an Asgardian, just a hybrid, born by chance of an old man a dead human king and a Deity who didn't want me.

My parents are not my parents, I was adopted, this explains so many things and why I have always been the least loved and appreciated.

It's Alastor ... I don't even want to begin with how I see his face instead of my reflection.

I beg you, we can change the conditions of the agreement. You have to take me to Merlin, but not now, first I have to come to terms with all this.

Can I please stay with you and King for a while? "Asked Gudrun, with tears in his eyes, it is close to the Olympic demigod to have a nervous / emotional breakdown.

"If you let me stay here, I'll do whatever you want, I'll be your accomplice in all your scams." Gudrun said, sounding like a drowning man, ready to grab all kinds of things to keep from drowning.

"Eda, let him stay with us. I need your magic and his strength to gain supreme power. Plus he can feed us, that Jambalaya was awesome!" King said, pulling the hem of Eda's dress.

The Owl Lady looked back and forth between the emotionally unstable demigod and the adorable worried Demon, before bringing her hand to the bridge of her nose, letting out a long, slow breath.

"An extra mouth to feed is no problem. Having an extra hand to help me with my business and keep King out of trouble is always welcome in my books." Eda said, kneeling, picking up King in her arms.

For a long moment that seems like an eternity to Gudrun, she simply held her breath, awaiting the final verdict ...

" Deal?" Eda said, reaching out for her hand and waiting for Gudrun to do the same.

Instead of just a handshake, Gudrun did a lot more, spreading his arms before wrapping them around Eda as tightly as possible.

"What, what is this !?" He shouted Eda, not used to receiving a hug or not understanding what a hug is.

"Too tight! Too tight!" King yelled, starting to move like a trapped beast, desperately trying to free himself between the two, finally managing to free himself and scramble away.

After a long moment or a few minutes, Gudrun finally decided to let go of his embrace, giving Eda needed space to breathe.

"I accept this deal! I accept! I accept! I accept!" Gudrun shouted, sounding as if he had gotten the Holy Grail or won the lottery.

"Go pick a room and settle down." Eda said, pointing to the stairs.

Gudrun wasted no time looking for a room of his own, leaving Eda and King alone.

"Eda, I have a feeling that the next few months will be unforgettable." King said, not knowing how much reason he is having.

XXX

Here I'm.

Once Gudrun finished reliving his first encounter with the Owl Lady, the lovely Demon King and being cursed with becoming Alastor's roommate, he woke up.

Our hero opening his eyes from the dream / memory of him finds himself lying on a comfortable bed in a kind of nurse.

He continues ...

Author's Note:

I hope you enjoyed this special chapter on Owl House.

This chapter takes place seven years before Luz arrived on the scene on the Boiling Isles.

You want me to make Luz appear in this story as a joint apprentice of Eda and Crimson Harlock.

I'm thinking of getting Luz to go to the Hot Isles the moment Crimson Harlock returns to the Hot Isles.

Luz meets Eda and Gudrun / Holmes, who happened to be magical and dangerous, finishing asking to learn to become both a witch and a super-heroine.

Luz the Super Magic Girl.

What do you think ?

Ps. This is the longest chapter I've written so far.

Pss. Lumity will definitely be there if Luz appears in the story, I love this couple.

Psss. For this special occasion I get triple the normal points.

+ Warrior (Fate Legends: Land of Shadows) (Free): One of the many and brave. You were born to fight and you fought, proving yourself more than worthy of the title of warrior. From savage barbarians who roam the wilds and raid good people to honorable knights who serve the wise lords to thieves and hunters who make their fortunes by dark and dirty means, there are many races of fighters in this land. You are skilled, trained in battle and with good instincts, but the path to the top of the world is still long.

Puppy Love (Fate Legends: Land of Shadows) (Free): Wild little thing, right? By growing up with dogs more like siblings, you have learned to maintain a close bond with the animals of the world. More than any man could learn to do by training as a hound master or the like, you have a natural affinity for animals that allows you to treat all but the most hostile and loyal to your enemy animals as if they were already domesticated pets by you. . Wild dogs lick your palms for treats, a strange horse would let you ride without being broken or tamed, even the birds of the sky sometimes bring you berries on your travels. Magical monsters or beasts have far less effect from this, although you will find you have the potential to train animals to become supernaturally powerful, such as breeding dogs ten times stronger than a regular hound. However, this takes time and work.

Striking A Deal (Fate Legends: Land of Shadows) (100): The Geas is a magical contract made between two people whose magic they themselves possess, keeping each of the Geas parties bound to the contract, otherwise they face terrible punishment. You know how to throw such things, with the agreement of the other parties, with no need for anything but magical energy. Geas must be done voluntarily and knowingly by all parties, even if they do not need to fully understand the implications of what they are agreeing to or be aware of how you intend to benefit from it. A Geas can also be imposed on yourself, alone, to increase your overall power at the cost of burdening you with various harsh restrictions. Breaking a Geas inflicts punishment decided upon at the time of the deal, often a terrible injury, illness, bond or even death. You can't get rid of your Geas and even being able to do so will completely unbundle the deal, for all sides of the deal. However, you find yourself with an unnatural ability to formulate these agreements to your advantage, leaving and finding loopholes in them and manipulating people to be willing to accept these agreements.

Runelord (Fate Legends: Land of Shadows) (300): Seems like the most iconic of spells for this place, even if what you're taking over here isn't Irish at all. By purchasing this, you have become a Rune Magic master, which uses magical energy drawn in predefined shapes to create powerful spells. It takes longer to perform many other types of magic, but it is exceptionally powerful. Of course, you know all the normal Norse runes, and many of your spells come from combining them in different orders to create magic. But what makes you special is that you are aware of the Primordial Runes, the same ones that Odin himself used. Even just using two or three at the same time can accomplish things like rewriting a Servant's saint chart, granting wisdom to simple animals, reviving terrible monsters out of thin air, or even harming a divine spirit. Of course, you'll need a lot of energy to match the kinds of things someone like Odin might have done, but now you'll find yourself bursting with more than enough magical powers to destroy a mountain or three. Maybe even break a large island into small pieces with the right combination of runes.

Notebook (Owl House) (100): A creative person like you needs a place to put their thoughts. This small journal is perfectly pocket-sized, and the included pencil is always sharp with plenty of eraser. No matter how much you write in or tear out of this journal, you'll always have plenty of paper, and should you break your pencil, a new one will quickly appear.

Sygaldry (Owl House) (600): Each spell begins with a circle. For most witches and demons, the physical process ends here. But magic is woven into the very fabric of the demon realm, and even the most unlikely of spellcasters can tap into the magic around them. Like Luz Noceda, you have discovered this long-lost form of magic. By drawing a complete circle of spells and associated runes on a surface, you can create constructs of elemental magic. The larger the circle, the greater the effect.

Unlike the typical spells used by modern Witches and Demons, Sygaldry draws upon the magical energy in the environment, not the caster. This allows anyone to perform magic as long as they know the correct glyphs and sufficient energy is present in their surroundings. This means that Sygaldry will fail in the human world, where there is no environmental magic.

You begin by knowing two basic elemental glyphs, which allow you to produce simple constructs composed of two of the following elements: light, ice, plants, fire, earth, or another natural element. You can discover more glyphs by looking at the natural environment around you, and you can create more complex and varied effects with enough time devoted to experimenting.

This is not the simple waving of the finger of modern witches and demons. This is a more complex and difficult way, but it may be all you have. Still, there is a lot of potential here for eager and creative minds.

Soul Perception (Soul Eater)(400): With a little focus, you can now feel the Souls of the living. While normally a common Meister skill, your Soul Perception is more powerful than most others.

Using this skill you can detect hidden or invisible enemies, identify soul type and also which race / species it belongs to, the power of a being based on soul size and even identify mental health.

With a lot of time and training you will be able to activate this skill at will, identify a familiar person based only on their soul sensing, and / or even passively leave the skill if you wish.

For an additional 200 CP, your Soul Perception increases by a few dozen degrees in power. Keeping it on passively, constantly scanning an entire city is a cake, with your range potentially stretching miles and miles with time and effort.

If that's not enough, the strength of your Soul Perception allows you to penetrate through methods that attempt to hide or disguise souls like a Witch's Soul Protect, allowing you to track down even the most elusive beings from their wavelength.

Tauropol [Amount: Agni Gandiva] (Fate / Legends - Empires of Antiquity) (400): A very large and sturdy bow, taller than some men, but with powerful spells placed on it by Artemis herself.

This raven-black bow has a regenerating quiver of similar dark arrows, each capable of piercing all but the most powerful magical defenses, and the bow itself grants immense destructive power to any shot fired through it.

It doesn't require more strength than a normal bow to pull back, but even a normal man could blow up a fortress into many pieces with a fully drawn shot.

The bow is also capable of summoning a shower of light attacks, consuming some magical energy and firing two shots at the same time into the sky.

This results in a shower of arrows of light, each capable of easily piercing armor of enchanted metal, over a controlled attack range.

Many thousands of bright arrows are released and entire battlefields can be lightly sprinkled or the arrows can be focused on a single point to inflict incredible damage.

Demonic Form [Alastor "The Radio Demon"] (Justice League Dark Vol. 2) (800CP): Merlin has a lot of brothers and sisters and somehow, one of them has decided to do you a favor. A powerful demon like Etrigan has been linked to you on a deeply spiritual level. This bond has made you ageless and has given you quite a bit of mystical power. With just one sentence, you can tap into this connection to enter an alternate form, unleashing the full power of the demon to fight for you. In this state, your sheer physicality would be enough to strike at even the most iconic members of the League or wreak havoc on entire countries. At least. And no, you don't have to rhyme.

Dealmaker Demon {Crimson Harlock cannot be accessed without the cooperation of Alastor} (Hazbin Hotel) (1000): You can bid. The D has to be capitalized too, this ain't some half cooked idiot giving him some idiot gold for his soul. These are levels of bullshit that grant wishes. And you get an increase in power albeit a small one, about 0.1% for every deal closed. But in turn, as long as you have the raw power, skill, technology or whatever else necessary to fulfill a desire, even if it would normally take years, you can do it instantly and without any preparation, if it's for a business, although you should have enough time left in Jump to do so.

After Spark, though, it's "As long as you eventually could do it with the power and abilities you currently have." And these offers in no way reduce your power. If you can create / reproduce something within the time, you can create it immediately for the purpose of the deal and you will not drain it or bring it to you in any way, such as money or a potion. The agreement is not supported or forced by either side, the Demons and those who have agreements with them constantly try to unite with each other.

However, this gives you some freedom, for example if someone, say, asked to be rich, you could maybe change his name to Richard or turn him into yogurt or something. Listen, my point is that you can turn that desire into something fucked up and not at all what that person wanted, if you really wanted it. Maybe for fun, maybe it's fun, maybe you hate that particular person, whatever the reason you screwed up his desire, you can screw him up until it was technically what he wanted. Oh yeah, and the person who wants the deal must really want it. Don't abuse this power in weird ways, like having one of your mates repeatedly want you to catch a breath or something.

Overlord {Crimson Harlock cannot be accessed without Alastor's cooperation} [Animated Art] (Hazbin Hotel) (1000): Oh, uh, shit, I didn't know who I was talking to.
