Aro POV
Chapter 19
My Mate was beautiful as she was dealing with the Cullen's I know she was hurt by their actions, but she also has a kind heart and was willing to give them another chance in her life. When she told them of their punishment I expected that they would be angry. They love interacting with humans, but they surprised me once again and accepted their punishment with grace.
I could see in young Edwards eyes that he wasn't happy, but I never thought he would be stupid enough to do anything in front of the whole coven.
The moment that my Bella brought up her change he completely lost it and grabbed Bella and had her on the other side of the throne room before any of us could even react.
Seeing how deranged Edward was we all approached them slowly. I could see the confusion on my Mate's face as she took in her surroundings. I could tell that she was afraid when she looked up at Edward and saw the condition that he was in.
I whisper to Carlisle "see if you can talk to him, you may be the only one to get through to him and make him realize that he is not Bella's Mate."
Carlisle nods before slowly approaching My Mate and Edward.
"Son what are you doing?"
"She is mine Carlisle, her blood sings to me she belongs to me not him." Edward is constantly growling now.
"Son she is not your Mate, your Mate is out there but it isn't Bella, please let her go this isn't you."
"Your wrong Carlisle she is mine. ALL MINE!"
With that I see him take Bella's wrist and bite over the mark that is already there.
"NOOO!" I yell. The Major tackles Edward and beheads him. "Do not kill him put him in the dungeons and when Bella wakes and his stable she will get her revenge." He just nods handing Edwards body and head over to Felix to take to the dungeons.
I look down on my Mate and see her eyes focus on me. "Your venom not his," and with those last words the burning has taken over her body. I did not want her change to happen like this, but it seems now we have no other choice with that I take her wrist in my mouth sucking out Edwards venom before replacing it with mine. I think bite her other wrist, then her neck and ankles pumping as much venom into her system as I can.
Major take my Mate to our quarters and do not leave her side while I finish here please. He doesn't utter a word just takes Bella in his arms caring her off. When they are out of the throne room I turn to the rest of the Cullen's.
"Did anyone of you know of his intentions when coming here." They all shake their heads.
"Aro I swear none of us knew he was still obsessed with Bella, we thought he just wanted to see her happy, I see now that we were all fooled."
I read each and everyone of them to make sure they didn't have any part in this. When reading them I saw how much each one of them cared for Bella and they were appalled by what Edward had done.
"Carlisle I must tell you plainly if it is my Mates wish then young Edward is to die."
"We understand Aro and I can say we would each feel the same way if this happened to our Mate. Now go to her don't make her wait any longer."
With that I take off to see my Mate. The Major is there just like I asked him to be, but I am surprised to see that my Mate is not screaming like most would.
The Major must've sensed my confusion because he tells me she hasn't uttered a sound besides some soft whimpers.
"Thank you for everything you have done for my Mate Major. You may stay if you would like."
"Thank you Aro I would like to stay by my sisters side."
He takes a seat in the chair by her head while I lay next to her in the bed. For the next three days we remind her of who we are and everyone else she loves. We tell her how much we all love her and how strong she is.
On the third day we hear her heart speed up dramatically.
"The change is almost complete." The Major whispers. We both step closer to the door trying to look nonthreatening.
He heart finally stops and she opens her eyes. She is taking in her surroundings when her eyes land and the Major and I.
"Why do you look so tense Jasper." We are both confused most newborns would attack seeing us in the room right after waking.
"My Mate we are just not use to a newborn having so much control." I can see her pout.
"What's wrong my love have I said something wrong?"
"No, it's just that of course even becoming a vampire I can't be normal." This has the Major and I both laughing as Bella giggles.
"Come sweetheart why don't we get you fed and you can see the rest of the family. They have been waiting anxiously for you to wake."
Bella grabs her throat just now noticing the burn. My Bella is amazing she is definitely not going to be a normal newborn.
