12 Miles away from, Veliko-Tarnovo, Bulgaria, 3/24/1971, 07:30
Kazanluk was a bust he had searched the outskirts around the city but only found a vacated hideout, hidden behind simple detection wards.
The town of Yambol was similar there had been reports of attacks in the outlying villages and when he tracked the residual magic left at the attack sites, he had been able to follow a trail so to speak to a vacated hideout under minimalist detection and repelling wards. he had found evidence of a third set of attacks as recently as a few days ago.
They seemed to have a pattern to their attacks. On the first night is was just a few assaults on the women of the villages no murders, and Harry thought it might be their way of testing to see if the Bulgarian Aurors responded or not.
On the second night they would sweep through the village they had targeted and rape and murder as many muggles as they could before the Aurors arrived. If the Aurora never showed up, they would then burn the village to ashes.
Then they would move on, already the had been responsible for the death of hundreds.
He was just about twelve miles or so away from Veliko-Tarnovo in a village nestled in the Stara Planina mountains, the village had a name he couldn't even begin to pronounce.
He had heard that several odd disturbances had taken place last night.
He had taken a roll of the dice and traveled to Veliko-Tarnovo and he thought he might have got lucky and found a lead. Bringing his wand to bear he scanned the area for detection wards, before he scanned the house.
According to the officers from Veliko-Ternovo there were five rapes in this village that took place last night. The thing that baffled the Police was that there were no signs of forced entry, all five were raped in their own beds some with their husbands sleeping right beside them.
He had snuck into the Veliko-Tarnovo police station under his invisibility cloak, using a translation charm he was able to translate the reports on all of last night's incidents and record the addresses on a sheet of printer paper.
He now had their magical signature so he knew what to look for. Seeing the first address on the list he started scanning for residual magic on the doors and quickly found what he was looking for, the signature from the other villages he had investigated was a match to whoever cast this "Alohomora" charm. After going to the other cottages and Checking them, he came up four more positive readings.
Donning the hood of his Grey robes, he apparated into the forest a little ways from the village. He had learned his lesson after the Greyback incident, on that mission he had worn muggle clothing and payed dearly for it. This time he was attired in his "Spectre VII battle dress". Dragon hide pants, boots, gloves and vest underneath his spare unspeakable Robes.
The robes were made out special fabric enchanted with runes to degrade any spell that struck them. Once the weakened spell passed through the outer robes. The Dragon hide took up the slack. The main weakness of these robes was impact spells. Just like a muggle 'Safe Life' vest will stop a bullet, the kinetic energy is still transfered to the wearer. Causing bruising and sometimes internal bleeding.
If you get hit with a piercer you get a nasty bruise and feel like you've been kicked by a mule. A bludgeoning hex will most likely break bones and send you flying through the air, but cutters and the like don't harm you at all. The only other thing the Unspeakable robes couldn't stop was the Unforgiveables. Though they do take some of the bite out the "Cruciatus Curse" as Harry learned back in June.
Decideing to set the tent up and sleep through the day Harry was almost certain his quarry would attack again tonight.

Village 12 miles outside of Veliko-Tarnovo, Bulgaria, 3/24/1970, 22:00
Harry lurked in the shadows of the village completely Invisible waiting for his prey to arrive. Most of the lights in the village were off, and the only sound to be heard was the Rustle of the trees and the wind blowing in the valley between the two mountains the village was nestled in. The moon was shining brightly and the clouds would occasionally drift across it, the air was still very cold as it was March and spring hadn't arrived yet, but his robes were enchanted to maintain a constant sixty-eight degrees Fahrenheit.
Two pops sounded on the other of the villiage, almost directly across from him. He crept silently in the direction he first heard the sound. Pausing only to silence his shoes and be mindful of anything that would give him away if he stepped on it. He crossed the village square, coming to a stop when he heard two men conversing in whispered 'Russian'. He could see their outlines under the bright moonlight.
After a few the minutes they seemed to come to an agreement. They started walking in different directions andHarry decided to follow Karkoroff first. he waited until the man passed him keeping the distance between them down to five feet he unsheated his dagger loaded with Basilisk venom and matched Karkoroff's pace.
He came right up behind as he was casting the onlocking charm on a cottage he seen a little girl playing outside of this morning. Quickly he moved forward the last few feet to grab Karkoroff he placed his hand across his mouth with his left hand coming out of the invisibility cloak and stabbed him in the stomach with the dagger in his right hand. Holding his left hand tight over his mouth and pulling him tight to his chest with his right hand still holding the dagger into Karkoroff's stomach. The man convulsed and he could here faint whimpers muted under his hand as he succumbed to death it took about a minute before Karkoroff went still in his arms and Harry careful eased him to the ground.
Removing the dagger and covering himself in his invisibility cloak he crept through the village To find Dolohov.
Harry had decided against the "Shock and Awe" attack this time. It was necessary when he was so heavily outnumbered against the Greyback ' pack, this however required finesse.
Antonin Dolohov was a powerful wizard. Fighting him would bound to cause Harry some injury. He got payed the same whether he fought in a spectacular duel of legend, or simply poisoned Dolohov's tea. So he decided it was best not to take risks (plus he did not want feel Andromeda's wrath if he was to come home barely alive).
Hearing Femine screams he followed the sounds to a cottage on the outskirts of the village, and entered the ajar front door. the screaming got louder as he traveled up the stairs and went to the right where the door was wide open he could make out the back a tall man probably six foot three with broad shoulders and his robes hiked up above his waist the man was thrusting his hips as the woman he couldn't really make out was creaming in hysterical Bulgarian. Tamping down his impulse to charge in and try to save her, he slowly crept within two feet of the man. There was no way he could overpower him like he did Karkoroff but that really wasn't an issue. Unsheathing his dagger silently he drew it back in his left hand and plunged at an upward angle into Doloho's left flank as close to his Heart as possible.
The man recoiled backwards off of his still screaming victim, and screamed in agony. He tried to spin around and attack whoever stabbed him, The venom entering his bloodstream so close to his heart made his legs buckle underneath him. and he sort of half spun and collapsed to the floor eyes seeking out his attacker. Harry removed his cloak and met the man's eyes. "Who. .. A-are Yo-You?" Dolohov gasped out barely above a whisper. Harry answered the question in one word "Reaper."
Harry wasn't sure Dolohov heard him or not because his face was frozen still in agony, and his chest no longer rose and fell. sighing he turned to leave only to be met by the terrified face of a woman in her late teens, her lip was bleeding badly and her nightgown ripped but otherwise she seemed okay (Physically). Harry didn't say a word to her he just nodded as he turned and left the room. He continued on his way out of this cottage, he was ready to go back home to Nymmie and Andromeda. He decided that he wouldn't take anymore of these type of jobs.
It was to hard on andromeda and he didn't want this to drive her away, they may not be in a relationship but she was like his best friend and he wasn't going to give that up for anything.
War would come soon enough he might as well enjoy some peace while he could get it.

Gringos Bank, Diagona Alley London, 3/26/1971,12:00
Getting a portkey from Sofia Bulgaria took him a day to arrange, and he arrived this morning around Ten, he got to choose his landing point, he decided on the very top of the cliffs of Dover.
when he arrived he just sat there enjoying view of the English channel and just taking it all in, enjoying peace and seclusion of this spot. His growling stomach reminded him he hadn't eaten this morning (It's kind of a bad idea before an international portkey) and he decided he might as well get cracking.
After a quick lunch at the Leaky Cauldron he made his was to the bank Where he now stood in Long Blades office and instead of speaking slid the Bulgarian version of the Daily Prophet dated this morning across the desk to Long Blade. On the front page were the pictures of Igor Karkoroff and Antonin Dolohov. The headline read "Balkan Butchers" found dead in a village outside the town of Veliko-Tarnovo. "It's done" Harry sighed before continuing "I don't think I want to take anymore of these contracts, war will be here soon enough" the goblin looked disappointed but nodded "very well the money has already been transfered to your vault, Monseuir Delacour works as a French Auror so he knew of their assassination yesterday morning, The Bulgarians were able to retrieve the memory from the girl you rescued from Mr. Dolohov, they know a cloaked man calling himself "Reaper" Killed Mr. Dolohov. And the fact that him and Mr. Karkorofg were killed with a goblin blade full of Basilisk Venom was all we needed to confirm it was you" I've taken the liberty to upgrade your vault to a larger size since we can barely close the door on your current one" the Goblin finished talking and passed Harry his new vault key and Harry gave a nod in thanks as he pocketed it.
"I appreciate that Long Blade, I do have other skills besides assassinating criminals. I have some skills in ward and Curse breaking. If you ever have any work you need done unofficially I'm your man" Harry told him and the goblin seemed to consider what he said a moment before replying " I'll bear that in mind my cousin Filius is convinced there is a jinx on a teaching position at Howarth School, but that will be a ways down the road I will definitely consider letting you work for us as a sort of independent contractor of sorts."
Harry nodded deciding it was time to go home and face the music and said "Very well I will keep an eye out for your owl, fairwell Long Blade."
"Fair well Mr. Evans always a pleasure doing business"
with that Harry exited the bank he was quite excited to get home and see what the girls had been up too.
