The universe of my hero academia does not belong to me.
Hello everybody ! Here is my first story, I hope you like it! Don't be worried about its length, this is just the prequel, I hope to make it longer for the first chapter!
"I'm afraid, Madam Midoriya, that Izuku is Quirkless." And so with a few words, a child's dreams and hopes were shattered.
Recovering from the shock of the news, Inko slowly turned her head towards his son's face. Her heart sank in the face of her little one's frozen gaze. Quickly closing her eyes, she turned her attention to the doctor, her hands clutching her skirt in frustration. She was worried that her son had not yet manifested quirk when he was past 4 years old. Her maternal instinct having struck, she took her directly to a specialized center to pass a battery of examinations to try to understand why Izuku's quirk had not manifested itself.
"I ... I don't understand ... why doesn't my son have a quirk?" She asks, her throat tied with sadness.
The doctor sighed slowly before turning on a projector, showing an image of an X-ray of Izuku's foot. He then pointed with the tip of his ruler to the latter's little toe.
"Since the appearance of the Quirks, a lot of research has been done to better understand them. Please observe this…" he said, pointing to a knuckle. "Most people these days have only one joint ... Izuku, on the other hand, has two ... This indicates ... that he is a holdover from a time without Quirk .. . I'm terribly sorry about it but you can't be a hero, Izuku ... "As these last words come out of the doctor's mouth, Izuku slowly turned his head towards his mother, seeking a sign of comfort, waiting for his mother rebels, pointing to the fact that he could still become a hero, despite his lack of Quirk. But his mother refused to look at him, her shoulders shaking as she tried not to cry. She knew how much her little boy wanted to be a hero, hearing the news she couldn't help but think that she had betrayed him. Seeing that his mother avoided his gaze, his little heart sank more and more as he lowered his head in disbelief. His own mother couldn't look him in the eye, she too didn't believe in him ...
Feeling the eyes of her son on her, she remembers the day of his birth, the small being that crying and screaming as he was born. She remembers the happiness she felt when she saw him, the warmth he gave her. As her memories passed before her eyes, Inko turned her head, offering a wet smile under her tears, as she said this phrase, this phrase her son adored.
"Never fear Izuku. Why ? For I am here." At these words, Izuku remembered the video of All Might saving people with the smile and his signature phrase. This is not true, she believes in him! As long as his mom is there, he had nothing to fear, she was there for him, despite the fact that the others did not trust him, she, she will be there. As tears of joy formed before his eyes, he lifted his head and looked at his mother who was smiling at him, without a hint of hesitation he rushed into his mother's arms, weeping all the tears in her body as the latter gently hugged her son against him, sobbing softly, gently stroking the matted hair of his baby boy. After a long minute of sobbing, mother and son leave the office.
After a long minute of sobbing, the mother and son leave the office thanking the doctor, while Izuku had regained his former joy. As the duo made their way back to their car, they didn't notice the doctor's disappointed look as he clicked his tongue in anger before sitting back down in his chair, tapping his desk with the tip of his index finger in anger.
"I had not imagined this outcome. I would have thought that she would have abandoned him ... I seriously underestimated maternal love ... Does she even know how rare it is to find Quirkless people in our society? A child moreover ... 20% of the world's population does not have Quirk ... It is little, very little. Here I am losing an important test subject, whatever, my experience needs a test subject and I'll get this boy… Either way… "he said, narrowing his eyes as he looked at young Midoryia's file a smirk "You will be mine ~~~".
Inko Midoriya
After their return from the doctor's office, Inko had quickly taken to the stove, preparing Izuku's favorite dishes, more determined than ever to be there for his son, despite the difficulty he will encounter. It doesn't matter if he doesn't have a quirk! If he wants to become a hero, then he will become one! She will find martial art or combat clubs! She is more than determined to make her son's dream a reality!
"Mommy ... How am I going to be a hero without a Quirk?" Inko slowly turned her head towards her sunshine sitting on the couch, watching TV with his All Might figure in his right hand. She approached him, offering him a beaming smile as she crouched down in front of him to look him in the eyes.
"Izuku ... Having a Quirk isn't everything. If you work hard and believe in your dream, are determined, then I'm sure you can become a hero without a doubt." She said as she gently stroked his left cheek with her right hand, wiping away his tears with her thumb as she gazes into his emerald eyes, she is so proud of his eyes, proud that her son is more like her than his father. "Don't let others dictate what you should or shouldn't be. Show them your determination, sweetheart. You promised Katsuki that you would be a hero with him, right? Show him that your Quirk is your determination." She said, closing her fists to show him will as she looked him in the eye, fearlessly.
The little one widens his eyes as tears formed on them. He then jumped into his mother's arms, wrapping his little arms around her neck, plunging his face into her neck. "You will see mom, I will make you proud of me!"
Inko smiles softly as she gently strokes his back to reassure him as she whispers in his ear, "But I'm already proud of you, Izuku." After several minutes to reassure her sunshine, she separates from him before smiling tenderly at him. "I made you your favorite food, come on, while it's hot." Izuku would never have thought he would have had one of the best days of his life despite being diagnosed with Quirkless. He spent the evening with his mother watching movies until he fell asleep in her arms, after a long, exhausting day.
Izuku Midoriya
The next day, Izuku went to kindergarten determined. He wasn't afraid to tell others that he was Quirkless, even if they laughed at him, he will become a hero, like All Might! As he spotted Katsuki, his best friend, a young girl his age he had always known under the tree in the playground, he came running up to her, smiling.
"Kacchan!" he said to get her attention as the girl let out a beaming smile upon seeing her best friend.
The young girl had short blond messy hair, red eyes. You could easily take her for a boy with her manners and her language. It seemed like she was always angry with her frowned eyebrows.
"Deku! Where the fuck were you ?!" She said, approaching him as she smirked.
"Kacchan, your language!" he said looking around to see if anyone had heard Katsuki. For some time now, the latter had gotten into the habit of speaking like her mother, words that Inko had forbidden him to utter before he was older.
Katsuki rolls her eyes with a sigh before looking up at him with a smile, all excited to hear what her best friend has to say. "So ?! What's your Quirk ?! Don't keep fucking waiting!"
Izuku folds his hands behind his back, hesitating a bit. If he told her, would she still want to be his friend? He was afraid she didn't want to be with him anymore. Seeing his hesitation, she looked at him, tilting her head to the side. "You know you can tell me anything Deku ..."
At the words of his best friend, he lifted his head to look her straight in the eyes, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "I don't have a Quirk Kacchan, but I'm going to be a hero anyway! All it takes is hard work and determination, as Mommy said!"
Kastuki was shocked at the truth but she will quickly come to her senses when she sees her best friend's eyes, he wasn't lying and then, Aunt Inko was saying so, so it must be true. She smirked as she put her hands on her hips proudly. "I expected nothing better from my rival! Let's fight for the No. 1 title, Deku!" She said as she extended her fist towards him, waiting for him to put his own against her.
Seeing her reaction, Izuku's lips quivered as a broad smile formed. He closed his fist before knocking it softly against his best friend's, smiling. "I promise you Kacchan!"
What the two didn't know, however, is that in the near future, Izuku will be missing for more than three years.
Inko Midoryia
Several weeks later, everything was going normally for Izuku. Sure, he was harassed by some people because he didn't have a Quirk but each time he was defended by Kastuki. So, just because his mother believed in him, his life hadn't been turned upside down. The latter had bought him science and mechanics books, knowing that he could not rely on a Quirk, he had to rely on his analysis and knowledge. She had also enrolled him in a karate club to start building his muscles. Really, everything seemed to be going well for Izuku.
But one day, Izuku never came home. Worried, Inko called the kindergarten to find out if he had left to go home. Having had the confirmation that he was gone, Inko's anxiety began to mount more and more. She decided to go find him, knowing his usual route. After slamming the door of her house behind her, she ran down the stairs of her residence and ran off to look for her son. As drops of sweat beaded down her temples, her worry grew every minute. Where was her baby? Trying to push back some frightening ideas, she passed an alleyway before stopping abruptly hearing sobs. She walked back to the alley and looked behind a dumpster. Her eyes widened as she caught sight of Kastuki, curled up as she shook all over her body. Inko then crouched down in front of her as she put her hand on the leg of the little girl "Kastuki?"
The little girl jumped in fear before sticking to the wall. When she saw Inko with a worried look, she burst into tears before leaping into her arms. As Inko worried more and more to see the little one in this state, known for boundless courage, her concern grew more and more. "Katsuki, what's going on? Why are you crying? Where's Izuku?"
Hearing the name of her best friend, the little one clenched her fists in Inko's jacket. She was still shaking for several seconds before pulling herself together and separating from the latter. She wiped her eyes as she looked Inko in the eye.
"People took him ... They took Izuku ..." At her words, Inko felt her blood run cold and her heart stop. As her world started to crumble around her, she pulled herself together and put her hands on Kastuki's shoulders, looking into her eyes.
"Katsuki, I want you to tell me everything you know, I want to know EVERYTHING." she said in a stern, serious tone as the little one nodded before her story began.
Flashback
Katsuki Bakugo
Katsuki had left before Izuku, while the latter was still packing his things, Katsuki running off to surprise Deku. Knowing how much of a crybaby he his, he would be sad to come home without her. She wanted to scare him as she hid in an alley that was in Izuku's path. As she hid behind a dumpster, she was putting her hand in front of her mouth to keep from chuckling at the thought of Izuku pissing on himself in fear. As several minutes passed, she finally saw Izuku walking past the alley. As she was about to jump on him screaming, a white van stopped abruptly next to Izuku before several men dressed in black and in black hoods threw themselves at the poor boy. As he stopped him from screaming by putting his hand over his mouth, Izuku met Katsuki's gaze, who was ready to jump on the men to save him. But she stopped abruptly when she saw his gaze on her, he asked her to do nothing while he gently shook his head to forbid her to intervene. Screaming in her head to move, Katsuki couldn't do anything but watch her best friend get kidnapped in front of her. Seeing the van leaving with Izuku inside, she froze for several minutes, her gaze dead, pointed to where her best friend was a few minutes ago. Realizing that she might never see Deku again, she began to cry all over her body before hiding next to the dumpster, too scared to come out until Inko found her.
Inko Midoriya
Hearing the whole story, Inko fell back. She had just realized that her little one was kidnapped and she doesn't even know the reason. As she began to lose her mind, little Katsuki put her right hand on hers as she looked her in the eye, worried. Inko shook her head, she couldn't let herself be dragged into the depression, she had to find her little one! As she hugged Katsuki, she started calling Mitsuki to tell him the news as she ran to the nearest police station. She must have confidence, she must remain courageous for her little one, she will cry when she will finds him, not before! Hearing that her best friend picked up, she didn't give her time to speak as she broke the news. "Mitsuki, someone kidnapped Izuku ..."
Ok, here's for the prequel. I think it's pretty short but it's just a prequel to setting up the story.
As for Izuku's Quirk, I think you guessed, it will be a demon-type Quirk. I will give you the characteristics of the Quirk in the next chapter except for those who want to know, do not hesitate to ask me mp. If you have any ideas for specs, besides the ones I have, feel free to show them to me. Also, if you see any spelling or conjugation errors, please tell me, English is not my native language, so I risk making mistakes.
As for couples, I hesitate between Katsuki and Kyoka. Feel free to tell me which person you prefer or if you want a relationship between the three. If there is enough vote, I can maybe add more people in couples.
For those who wonder why I made Katsuki as a girl, I found that there weren't enough girls in class 1-A and, moreover, I find it interesting how their relationship would be if he were a girl.
In short, had a good day and had a good time!
