(Chapter 18: Time for a Ride Along)

It was now the end of March as things continued to go rather semi-peacefully for all parties involved, with the main thing that was going on was for everyone to train and grow stronger for what was to come. With Tsubasa coming along so well in her training that she'd proven to Anakin that she was ready to advance forward in the next step of her martial training and teaching her a new lightsaber form, something the Sitri Rook was all too eager to hear.

All the while Sona was having to continue to try and put off her sister from coming to Kuoh, which was becoming increasingly difficult to do after what had happened with Tomoe running rampant, something that the Sitri heiress didn't want to deal with considering how incessant Serafall could be over her little sisters' wellbeing.

(Kuoh Town, 8:48 Pm, March 31st, 2018)

It was a cloudy March night as Anakin was helping Tsubasa go over the drills in her newly learned Lightsaber form, Soresu; something the Sitri Rook was quite joyous to learn due to the fact it would make her more of an impenetrable battlefield tank.

"Remember, Tsubasa. Keep your guard as tight as possible, remember this is about keeping creating an impenetrable defense. So every single movement you make must be dedicated to making it impregnable." Anakin instructed his student who was blocking plasma bolts from training droids he built

"Understood master!" Tsubasa sharply replied as she continued to deflect plasma bolts from all angles

With Tsubasa using every ounce of speed and reactionary timing to deflect and block the plasma bolts that came at not just every angle, but also at incredible speeds that had her drawing upon the Force to aid in this endeavor. Anakin watched as his student parried and deflected the emerald bolts of energy with surprising skill and intense focus, something that considering her having recently been taught the beginnings of the form only a week and a half ago; brought a small amount of pride to the former Sith Lord to see his student be so talented in the martial arts.

The Sitri Rook despite having started to learn the Resilience Form under her master had felt more at home with this particular form than the Determination form in Shi-Cho, finding the more grounded posture and unwavering stance of the form to come more easily than the randomized chaos of the 1st Lightsaber form. All the while she went through the drills of Soresu with her broadsword, she found that in her channeling the dark side of the Force to aid her in the movements of the Resilience Form, that everything seemed to flow much smoother and far more faster than what it had been prior. Her blocks and parries while under the effects of dark side channeling became not only quicker in their execution, but also in their transition as every movement was immediately followed into another without so much as a split-second delay.

With Tsubasa's mind being hyper-focused on making every single movement of her newfound fighting form perfect, the channeling of the Dark side only further feeding her desire to make every single execution of it to be made to utter perfection. The Sitri Rook refused to let herself miss a sequence of her new form in both a combination of her pride as Sona's strongest servant and not wanting to disappoint her master, fueling her focus to make sure that every move and sequence of what she knew for far was done with laser-like precision.

A full hour and 10 minutes would pass before Anakin would call their training session to a halt, the former Sith Lord being rather pleased with what she was able to do during his teaching her more on Soresu; on top of her doing the drills of her new form.

"I will say that you've progressed considerably since I've taken you on as my apprentice. Far more than what I had hoped when I had initially taken you on." Anakin told his now smiling apprentice

"So much so that I've decided to take you alongside me on a mission." Anakin added which had Tsubasa's face light up in excitement in hearing that

"Really?! I finally get to go on a mission with you?" Tsubasa questioned as she started brimming with hardly contained excitement

"Yes. We will be going on a mission together. I thought that it would be the perfect chance for you to put what I've taught you so far to the test. This time against a threat worthy of your power." Anakin told his elated apprentice

"What or who am I going to be fighting?!" Tsubasa asked in the excitement of what the challenge will be before her

"The threats we will be going up against; are from those within the Hero Faction." Anakin answered back

"What's the Hero Faction? It sounds like an off-brand version of the Justice League." Tsubasa asked her master to fill in the blanks due to her lack of information

"While you aren't far off in that assumption. They are far less heroic than them and from what I have been told function more akin to a terrorist organization." Anakin replied before continuing

"The Hero Faction, as I have been informed. Are a faction made up of descendants of famous heroes of myth and legend that either wield powerful magics, Sacred Gears, possess a unique power. Or they possess some combination thereof." Anakin informed his apprentice on what said faction was

"We are to head off to Kyoto in order to combat two of their members that have attempted to assassinate their leader and her daughter, on top of causing mass casualties to those within the city. We are to eliminate them or if possible capture them for information. Whatever you deem necessary to handle your target, then do so with extreme prejudice." Anakin told her as Tsubasa could only let a broad grin spread across her face

"Don't worry master, I will not fail at all. Now that I have a chance to really show off what I can do. I will not blow this chance to prove my strength." Tsubasa resolutely responded

The Sitri Rook refusing to let down her master in any conceivable way, shape or form when it came to the upcoming mission, as she knew this would be her big chance to impress her master and show him that all their training wasn't for nothing.

"I expect you not to. I would not bring you if I knew you wouldn't succeed in the endeavor." Anakin said having high hopes for his apprentice

"When will we be heading out for the mission, master?" Tsubasa asked so she could have time to prepare

"We will be leaving the following Monday. Which should give you enough time to get everything in order, before we head out to Kyoto." Anakin informed his apprentice of when they would be leaving

"Understood, Master Anakin." Tsubasa responded

"Now leave. The day will come quickly and I want no excuses on why you were not ready." Anakin ordered as Tsubasa bowed before taking off with a grin of elation on her face

'Don't worry master. I'll show you that you made the right choice to bring me along with you.' Tsubasa thought to herself as she raced home

(4 days later, Kyoto, Japan, April 4th, 2018, 2:24 Pm)

It was the following Wednesday later as after meeting with the Youkai faction leader in Yasaka and being further notified on the situation, the apprentice and master duo had splintered off to ambush the approaching member of the Hero Faction who came to finish the job.

"..I still can't believe this is what that Hero Faction sends. I thought I was gonna fight someone who looked like a Dark Souls boss. Not a struggle version of a Fate servant." Tsubasa said to herself as she saw Jeanne enter her sight

"Still, if she's going to be my chance to prove my training wasn't wasted. I might as well get on with it." Tsubasa spoke before spreading her wings and dive-bombing towards Jeanne

The unsuspecting descendant of the Maiden of Orleans soon felt herself violently shoulder-checked by Tsubasa, the Hero Faction member being sent skidding across the city street with such force; she caused a building to partially collapse on impact. With Jeanne eventually being able to dig herself out of the rubble, only to have the Sitri Rook coming barreling towards her like a runaway bullet train, forcing her to summon forth a holy sword to block the strike that pushed her deeper into the ground.

The Sitri Rook breaking their blade-lock with a vicious headbutt that staggered Jeanne who felt her vision go in threes' from the hit that dazed her, before a potent Force push blasted her out of the building and sent her into the streets. Jeanne from the moment she rose to her feet, she was assaulted by Tsubasa who went into a Shi-Cho offensive, the Sitri Rook unleashing a frenzied and randomized series of attacks that came without a single break in their sequence.

The descendant of Joan of Arc found herself on the defensive back-foot against the relentlessness of Tsubasa who kept hammering into her with a furiously persistent cadence, with Jeanne's focus being disrupted when Tsubasa landed a hard armored punch to her forehead. The blow once again staggering her back as a bisecting swipe from the Sitri rook managed to dig into the gaps of her breastplate and find purchase in her upper abdomen; Jeanne biting back a yelp of pain of pain, before she found the broadsword being forced deeper into her innards.

Yet Jeanne wasn't even given a moments' reprieve as Tsubasa smashed her head against hers' so hard that it split the skin and caused a small spurting of blood to come forth, which was followed through by her landing 4 consecutive punches to Jeanne's jaw. The blonde swordswoman tried to disengage from the vicious assault of the Sitri Rook, but every time she tried Tsubasa used the Force to pull her right back in or impaled her abdomen once again with her broadsword to hook her in place.

With Jeanne finally managing to get away from Tsubasa via her forcing the ground to erupt into a bladed wall of holy swords; forcing Tsubasa to leap away lest she get impaled by the various blades, which left a very bruised and bloodied Jeanne to dash away and try to collect her bearings. Even so the barrier of blades didn't impede Tsubasa for long as she briefly collected her energies and unleashed a powerful Force push to shatter them, from there the Force-wielding Rook began to rush after her target at full speed.

"I didn't think they'd send someone so mean after me. We didn't even do anything that bad." Jeanne complained as she spat out a small number of blood covered teeth

"But at least she's someone strong enough to finally share my new Balance Breaker with, it'll be so much… Jeanne excitedly spoke before a Force Push slammed her into a nearby car

"The only thing you will share with me is your dying breaths when I take your head off." Tsubasa declared her golden eyes glaring at the Maid of Orleans' descendant

"Why are you being so mean to me? I haven't done anything wrong to you." Jeanne questioned the golden-eyed Rook

"No, you haven't..At least not personally as far as I know. However, what you and your faction have done to bring me and my master here; is enough cause for me to cut you down." Tsubasa answered back before striding forth towards Jeanne with lethal intentions

Jeanne soon sent an arsenal of holy swords flying towards Tsubasa like ballista bolts on cocaine; the apprentice to the former Sith Lord switching to Soresu in order to block and deflect the holy swords that came racing towards her, all the while her advance near ceasing towards Jeanne. All the while Jeanne was continuing to send out these blades to no avail, as Tsubasa channeled the dark side to aid in her deflection of the blades; even managing to send one of them back at the blonde swordswoman who narrowly dodged it piercing into her right thigh, as Tsubasa instead redirected the momentum to land a cut across Jeanne's forehead.

Yet through her deflecting the blades sent towards her, Tsubasa eventually managed to close the distance by using the Force to send Jeanne hurtling towards her and using her own inhuman strength to close the gap and nearly slice off Jeanne's right arm at the forearm. The Hero Faction member let out a cry of pain as she quickly retaliated by impaling Tsubasa deep in the stomach with a cutlass-like holy sword, with Jeanne smirking at finally getting a worthwhile hit at Tsubasa that gushed forth crimson.

But this smirk quickly fell away as instead of agonizing scream or a pained yelp, Tsubasa only glared at her more furious than anything at Jeanne managing to bypass her defenses; the Sitri Rook gripping her harshly by her sundered right arm. All before using her brute strength to crush said limb and snap it 3 places as though it were made of Ritz crackers; the descendant of Joan of Arc screeching in abhorrent pain as she staggered back from her now ruined arm that bled profusely.

The now angered Sitri Rook followed through by unleashing a powerful overhand swing that cut Jeanne from her left shoulder to nearly her right hip, the blow tearing through her armor as though it were made of melted butter. Jeanne then let out a sharp gasp of pain from the devastating attack that tore through her body and sent her flying into a window with such force that it nearly blew out the front section of the building on impact; the blonde swordswoman having in her wounded state tried to activate her Balance Breaker, in knowing it was her only chance at victory.

Only for her to soon find herself being telekinetically choked out by a heavily annoyed Tsubasa, who sent her body reeling towards her and into her free hand where she was then driven into the ground hard enough that a slight indentation of her body was formed. Jeanne in struggling to free herself from the vice-grip of Tsubasa who was making quick progress in crushing her windpipe did the only thing she could think of and had the area around her quickly explode into a mass of holy swords that forced Tsubasa to release her; lest she is turned into a pincushion.

'Finally, I have a chance to get away from her. If that won't keep her down for awhile...I don't know what will.' Jeanne thought as she hobbled away from the 40-foot radius of holy blades that had erupted from the ground

"Now I can finally use it...Balance Breaker: Stake Victim DragACCKKK!" Jeanne began to say before out of nowhere a bloodied and severely irritated Tsubasa burst forth to impale her through the lungs with her broadsword

"You are really, really fucking annoying to fight. You know that? I swear out of all the things I've thought so far, you are by far the one that's given me the most trouble." Tsubasa spoke as she drove her broadsword through Jeanne's spine

"Now do me and yourself a favor and die already." Tsubasa added

With a mighty upward slash of her broadsword, Tsubasa proceeded to split Jeanne's upper body in half; causing a shower of gore and viscera to erupt from the now partially bisected descendant of Joan of Arc who slumped to the ground. The Sitri Rook taking a few moments to herself to come down from the high of her victory before falling flat on her butt and deciding to take a well-earned bit of reverie in having defeated her first major bit of opposition.

(2 days later, April 6th, 2018, Kyoto, Japan, 10:50 Am)

It was a few days in the aftermath of Anakin and Tsubasa defeating the Hero Faction members sent to finish the job against Yasaka, with the kitsune calling Tsubasa forth to give her a reward in her part in taking out the threat.

"I want to again say thank you, for you and your masters' help defeating those two for me. We are greatly in your debt." Yasaka thanked the Sitri Rook

"Its nothing. We came here to do a job to help you out, we completed it...So its no big deal." Tsubasa replied seeing this as just another job to be done

"Regardless you have saved not just my people from what could've been another catastrophe. But also saved my daughter and I from having to go through another ordeal...It was bad enough that they invaded my home, but to try and assassinate me again..My only regret in all of this is that I didn't fully burn their wretched leader completely to ash. That arrogant bastard deserves tenfold of what I did to him." Yasaka spoke with anger creeping through at how she should've killed more of them for daring to bring harm to her precious daughter

Especially Cao-Cao who she regretted only leaving him burnt alive and tearing away one his arms and his right eye, her maternal wrath still screamed at her to hunt the self-righteous fool down and spill his blood on the streets of Kyoto; for how dare he even have the thought to attack her and her precious daughter in their own home.

"If I ever see the man in person, I'll be sure to hurt him like hell on your behalf. Better yet, I could tear his head off his shoulders and bring it to you to mount on your wall if your into that sort of thing." Tsubasa offered causing a small yet almost predatory smile to form on the Youkai Faction leaders' face

"I truly appreciate the sentiment. It warms my heart to know that there are people who will punish those insufferable cretins for what they've done." Yasaka replied being somewhat touched by the sentiment

"Trust me it was no skin off my back to do it. I mean what dickhead tries to kidnap or kill someone's child in front of their parents..Did those fuckers really not expect to get clapped back for that shit?" Tsubasa wondered as to what the Hero Faction members were thinking when they tried to attempt their rather inane stunt with Yasaka and Kunou

"Apparently, they are idiots who do not know the wrath of a protective parent...At least now they will and hopefully will think twice before they dare to ever do such a thing again. Or by Lady Amaterasu herself, I will rain down every conceivable hell I can imagine down on their heads for such an impudent stunt." Yasaka swore to the blunette in front of her

With Tsubasa very much believing her, as despite the warm and welcoming smile she gave to the Sitri Rook, she could still see the anger hidden behind the expression of relief that for now, the Hero Faction would no longer be an issue. From the subtle grinding of her teeth, the vein on her left temple that throbbed in parental anger and the barely contained hate and killing intent that surged forth as she continued to speak on the subject of the Hero Faction let her know that behind the facade of a relieved mother was a furious predator ready to lash out at a moments' notice.

"Still, I believe we should proceed towards giving you your reward. In addition to an offer, I'd like to make to you if you are interested." Yasaka spoke as she took a few moments to calm herself and reign in her anger

"Whatever you see as fair, I don't mind at all. Just getting out of my home was more than enough for me." Tsubasa replied happy to be out and about

"There is no need to act so modestly. Besides, I think that you will find this particular gift to be to your liking. I feel that it is high time that someone put it to good use beyond collecting dust in our treasuries." Yasaka spoke as she summoned forth a magical circle and pulled out a rather long object from it

"This is Heikrii. One of our strongest demonic blades. The power of darkness and disease permeates this blade with each wound it leaves in its bloody wake. After having your help in dealing with those so-called heroes. I feel as though it is time that Heikrii unleashed its wrath on the world once again." Yasaka added as she went over to hand the weapon to Tsubasa

'Holy shit this feels strong.' Tsubasa spoke as she took grasp of the pale silver and vibrant lime green handle of the sword

Once she unsheathed the sword she saw the full glory of Heikrii for all it was worth; the blade of the odachi being a solid 4 feet of dark emerald almost black curved metal with bright lime green marking that seemed to pulsate across its surface as though they were human veins. All the while a thick obsidian colored miasma seemed to emanate from the blade the moment it was drawn from its sheath, the stench of disease-ridden carcasses and infernal taint came bursting forth from the blade; even still Tsubasa couldn't help but marvel at the odachi that she held in her hands.

The Sitri Rook then gripped the 9-inch long handle as she requested Yasaka to step back so she could give her new weapon some test swings, the golden-blonde kitsune obliged and stepped back a considerable distance as Tsubasa took a deep breath. Tsubasa then immediately went through the drills of Shi-Cho, the odachi causing trails of thick black miasma to follow; enveloping the area around her in black and green, as she found herself able to execute her drills with Shi-Cho and later Soresu with an ease that she hadn't found in her broadsword without having to do moderate Force channeling.

This display of martial capability went on for around 3 minutes as she went through every attack sequence, block and parry down to the last detail before she was satisfied; sheathing the blade of Heikrii with a broad smile on her face.

"I really can't wait to field test this when I have the Rating Game with the boss...This is gonna work out great!" Tsubasa spoke excitedly at the carnage too soon be unleashed with her new odachi

"I'm sure Heikrii will work wonders for you. It's destructive might is second to some of the strongest demonic weapons to exist in the world." Yasaka said as Tsubasa strapped her now sheathed blade to her left side

"Now that you've received your reward. We can now discuss the offer I would like to make you. One that I'm sure you will like." Yasaka told the Sitri Rook who once more took her seat

"What's the offer you would like to make me, Lady Yasaka?" Tsubasa asked the kitsune

"Simple. Seeing as how you are a very talented and powerful warrior. I figured that the best way to put your talents to good use, by having you hunt down some rogue and unsavory youkai that have been causing trouble lately. I promise you that you will be handily compensated for your missions." Yasaka answered on what her offer was

"Basically, you want to make a contract with me as a monster hunter?" Tsubasa inquired

"While that is an oversimplification of my offer to you. It is something I'm sure you would be up to the challenge of." Yasaka spoke giving Tsubasa pause at this idea

"This would give you the chance to venture beyond your home in Kuoh Town. I'm sure that someone of your caliber must get restless there. So think of this as an opportunity to take your skills as a warrior beyond that place. To show that you are something greater and hunt down true monsters. Monsters that put a horrible light on my people." Yasaka added in hopes that Tsubasa would be on board for this

"Don't get me wrong. I'm all down for doing monster slaying. But I feel like I should have more time to think about this; before I take you up on the offer. No offense to you, it just seems like a huge decision to work for you." Tsubasa responded in not wanting to rush into something so important

"I fully understand. I would be remiss if I didn't allow you time to think about this. Although I promise you that the rewards that come out of this will be worthwhile. In addition, the chances to prove yourself to be a great warrior will be more than plentiful." Yasaka said to Tsubasa

"How do you know that I wanna become a great warrior?" Tsubasa asked the golden-blonde kitsune

"I can see it in your eyes. You have the desire and passion to become an immeasurably powerful warrior. One who wishes to prove themselves as one of the best at their craft. All I am doing is simply providing you with not only an avenue to achieve your goal. I also am providing you with an opportunity to adventure and see the world around you outside of Kuoh." Yasaka answered back with a small smile

The 9-tailed kitsune saw it all too well within Tsubasa that she had a warrior's spirit and desire to prove her strength; therefore she saw no reason as to why she shouldn't direct this power towards eliminating the rogue elements of her people that put them in a bad spotlight.

"Thanks. However, I'm still gonna need time to think about your offer. At least until the end of the month or first week in May." Tsubasa requested from Yasaka

"Of course take all the time you need. For now, relax and enjoy the reward you've been given. You deserve it for your efforts in helping to eliminate those cretins from my home." Yasaka told the Sitri Rook who nodded before giving a respectful bow and leaving

'I can't wait to show the boss my new sword. It looks super rad!' Tsubasa cheered to herself over her Heikrii now in her possession

(2 days later, April 8th, 2018, Student Council Room, 12:06 Pm)

It was the following Sunday as Tsubasa had soon returned to Kuoh to meet with Sona and inform her of the events that had happened in Kyoto as well as her new sword; Heikrii.

"That is very interesting news, Tsubasa. Also, congratulations on receiving your new weapon. I'm sure it will serve you quite well in the future." Sona spoke while Tsubasa still held a wide smile on her face over Heikrii

"Trust me, boss, Heikrii is gonna work wonders for me. Not to mention its gonna help us win by a landslide!" Tsubasa replied knowing that with the power Tsubasa held even when sheathed would be something incredible

"I'm sure it will. It seems to be a rather powerful sword." Sona spoke sensing the malefic powers of the odachi in her Rooks' possession

"Still, I do want your advice on if I should take that Yasaka lady up on her offer? You're my boss after all and if I ever needed someone's advice on this, it would be yours." Tsubasa responded

"If I were you, I would agree to the offer presented to you." Sona advised to her Rook

"You really think I should go for it?" Tsubasa asked her leader

"Of course. What your being offered is a chance to explore and see the world around you. Not only that, but it is also a rare chance to explore your own path to power. A path that I would say you would have to be foolish not to take; for all it can give you." Sona answered back

The Sitri heiress seeing the offer that Tsubasa was given as a rare opportunity to do, see and experience things that she couldn't do for her Rook given her position; because the opportunity to work with the leader of a faction and learn things that she couldn't as a Devil that would grant her opportunities for power she couldn't gain as a Devil.

"It would be a waste of an opportunity for you. That is why as your King; I would advise you to take this offer. The chance to potentially learn from the Youkai on how to improve yourself beyond what I or even Anakin could help you with is something I would more than take up if I were in your position." Sona added on what she thought Tsubasa should do in this situation

"..Thanks for the advice, boss. I just don't want to make the wrong decision and wind up screwing myself in the long run." Tsubasa thanked her King

"You're rather welcome. I'd hate to see any of my servants waste a chance to improve themselves...I'd rather not make the same mistakes that Rias has with hers'." Sona replied in not wanting to doom her servants to mediocrity as Rias had

"Trust me, boss. You could never fuck up as much as she has. You would have to try your damnedest in order to make us that pathetic." Tsubasa told Sona in seeing her as a far superior leader than Rias

"I mean let's be honest with ourselves. With how weak they are, they would have no chance of beating us even on our worst day. Heck! Ruruko and I could solo the entire lot of them and kick their asses in an afternoon." Tsubasa added knowing full well that with her and Ruruko alone that they would easily overcome Rias's peerage

"You aren't wrong. At this rate, everyone has continued to progress. We would be able to easily obliterate Rias and her peerage. The only one who could even give us any remote trouble in that hypothetical fight would be Rias herself. If there is one thing he is, it is someone who has made sure she is difficult to keep down in a battle. Someone we would have to keep close attention on if we were to engage her." Sona replied knowing that victory would be there's if they fought against Rias and her pitiful peerage

"Between what I'm learning from, master. On top of what the Youkai Faction could possibly teach me; if I take that Yasaka lady on her offer. I'm pretty sure even she would get her shit rocked by me." Tsubasa spoke with complete confidence in her ever-growing combat prowess

"If there is one thing I will credit the Youkai Faction with it is their being one of the more underrated factions. They may not have as many absurdly strong powerhouses as Heaven, ourselves and the fallen angels have under their leadership. However, what they've developed in their techniques and skills; has been able to compensate for that in spades." Sona replied in acknowledgment of the Youkai Faction power in terms of versatility

"I know their leader is probably fuck off strong, but I didn't think they would have so much stuff under their sleeves." Tsubasa spoke while she took a moment to clean her glasses

"If there is one thing I have failed at is informing you of the world beyond that of the 3 Biblical factions. An oversight I intend to correct after we defeat Diodora and his peerage." Sona responded

"Oh yeah, that reminds me how much longer until we fight that pissant?" Tsubasa wondered on their timetable till their first Rating Game

"We have until the 3rd of May to fight against him in the Rating Game. This is why I have had everyone set aside their contracts and put full focus on training and preparations. I want to make sure that there is no excuse for us to win against him. I refuse to let our first Rating Game end in defeat against the likes of him." Sona informed her Rook

Sona wanted to make sure that when they eventually fought against Diodora and his peerage that her and her servants would have an assured chance at victory; hence the reason why anything that wasn't related to training, preparation, battle planning etc was pushed aside for the chance at a guaranteed victory.

"That should be plenty of time to make sure everything is all good to go for the Rating Game. By then I should have a lot of what master Anakin is teaching me down to a tee." Tsubasa said in feeling she had more than ample time to prepare

"Good to hear, Tsubasa. Also, after we win our Rating Game. I hope that you will take her up on her offer. I rather you not lose out on the opportunity to grow stronger and get that much closer to realizing your full potential. The Youkai Faction are a powerful and versatile people, who can no doubt help you grow at a more accelerated rate than you already are under Anakin." Sona told Tsubasa in hopes she would go for the opportunity that would get her closer towards growing her potential even further

"Trust me, boss. I'm not gonna waste my chance to get stronger at all. So I'll definitely be considering a yes to her offer." Tsubasa replied in now seeing herself lean more towards yes on the subject

"I'm glad your thinking of not wasting this chance, Tsubasa. It would truly be a shame for you to miss out on such an opportunity to truly grow and become as powerful as I know you can be." Sona spoke, very glad to see her Rook wasn't wasting the opportunity given

"Trust me I won't. Although I am gonna have words with her about making sure I get the most out of this. If she's gonna make this contract with me, then I better get my money's worth out of it." Tsubasa replied in figuring that if she was gonna take Yasaka on her offer then she was gonna take it for all it was worth and then some

"Good to hear. Now then, I would prefer it if you would take your leave. I have some training of my own to attend to. I can't afford to fall behind my own servants after all." Sona said to her Rook in seeing that it was time for her to begin her studies/training

"Gotcha boss and good luck. Besides, I gotta practice with Heikrii if I wanna make sure its' field-worthy for the Rating Game." Tsubasa spoke as she stood up and left Sona to her own devices

'Only a few more weeks and I will show that despite my setbacks. That I can become one of the best out of my generation.' Sona thought to herself in anticipation of her chance to prove she was one of the greatest of her generation

With Tsubasa having managed to defeat a member of the Hero Faction and gain a possible contract with the leader of the Youkai Faction, it looks as though things are looking up in a positive light for the Force wielding Rook. How will things proceed down the line with Tsubasa potentially joining up with the Youkai Faction? Find out in the new chapters of, A Sith Lord for a Dragon Emperor!

Now then onto some of the reviews from the previous chapter.

Zack Sager: Yeah I really loved writing Anakin just hard nope Sirzechs into getting him to saving Rias from getting married. Because I can't tell you how frustrating it is to read the MC of a DXD story get bullied by Sirzechs into helping Rias against their will even though they made such progress into stepping away from being Rias's get out of jail free card. Since stuff like that happens in DXD stories a lot more than you think and it is infuriating, which is why I hard avoided it as much as I could.

plums: After the whole marriage bit Rias will be more or less taken out of things because there won't be really all that left to do with her after that that I have planned out so far. Because after that Sona and her peerage will be more of the main focus in things besides Anakin. Also, Momo dying was necessary, since it actually spurred everyone to get their shit together.

Giblenator: Glad you liked how I handled them in the last chapter. Also Sirzechs doing that wasn't something that didn't seem to far-fetched considering that oftentimes we forget that behind him being a siscon Satan. That he used to regularly atomize people out of existence during a war with his P.O.D and wiped out countless people with it. So him threatening Anakin like that isn't something that struck me as to outside of his wheelhouse to do.

That takes care of that as I hoped you guys enjoyed this Tsubasa-focused chapter and all that it entailed. So without further delay let's get into it now, shall we.

First up we've got a bit of Tsubasa now training in Soresu and learning of her going with Anakin on a ride-along mission to defeat Heracles and Jeanne.

Coming up after that we've got Tsubasa vs Jeanne, which I hoped you guys liked. As now that Tsubasa has not only taken things more seriously and resolved to crush her enemies no matter what; combined with how she's been progressing thus far...Jeanne really had zero chance.

Following that is Tsubasa getting an upgrade in terms of her weapon which I figured she deserves as we get closer and closer to the Kokabiel arc and her potentially working under Yasaka as a monster/youkai hunter among other things.

Lastly, we get a bit between Tsubasa and Sona that I hoped you guys like as I really like developing their relationship for what I have planned down the line.

All that being said I hope y'all enjoy this story and what's to come in the future chapters of it as well as favoriting, following and sending reviews so that we can hopefully make this a pretty decent story. As flames for the most part will be ignored unless you got anything nice to say or that helps the story then go somewhere else.

Furthermore, the poll for what Artificer path Reya will be going down goes as follows. Artillerist in the lead with 4 votes, Battle Smith closing in with 3 votes, Alchemist piddling behind with a single vote, and Armorer in dead last with absolute zero votes.
