Tanya sighed as she closed the door to the guest room leaving her sleeping mate behind as she made her way to the living room. She wanted to stay with Bella and hold her while she slept but the Irish coven would be there any minute. As the coven leader it was required of her to be there to great them along with Carlisle. Even if she wasn't the leader she would want to be there for sister. Isabella was proven right many times over but Tanya was still worried that she was wrong about Maggie being Irina's mate. If Maggie wasn't then she wanted to be there to console her sister as she knew Irina was beyond convinced Isabella was right.
Thinking of the strange vampire Tanya realized she still hadn't asked Isabella about returning when her Bella was changed into a vampire. Not knowing if Isabella could come and go as she pleased between dimensions Tanya wasn't sure if the woman could return at all. She hoped she would. As she had been observing her through out the day not only Tanya but the rest of the vampires in attendance had realized what a source of knowledge Isabella was. Rosalie had already made progress with her gift and Kate and Jasper seemed to be progressing as well. It was to bad Isabella wanted to go home so bad.
While Tanya could understand not wanting to be away from one's mate as she couldn't imagine being away from Bella, she knew that Isabella would be a continued help for her own mate. Bella being a human caused her great concern and if Isabella was right which she continued to prove to be, then Bella could use her gift while she was human. It would make Tanya feel better knowing that Bella had a way to protect herself because they would be forced to separate soon. The girl had to go back to school on Monday and they had yet to discuss living arrangements. Adding the fact that Irina and Kate could possibly be having mates soon the coven would have many decisions to make in the future. She didn't want to be separated from her sisters but she understood that it may not be possible for them to stay together any longer.
Hearing three sets of footsteps running through the forest Tanya hurried her way to the front lawn to stand with her coven. She put an arm around Irina to hold her in place as her sister was vibrating with excitement. She once again hoped that Isabella was right."Calm down they are almost here."
"I know but I've waited for so long." Irina wanted to badly to run towards the vampires they heard approaching but she held herself back. She still wasn't a hundred percent sure Isabella was right but as she locked eyes with a short, red headed, red eyed vampire every doubt she had fled her mind.
Siobhan wasn't completely comfortable with the situation they had been invited into but she had enough respect for Carlisle to give him the benefit of the doubt. She stopped with her mate Liam and looked over the large group of vampires that met them in the clearing. As she glanced back to see why Maggie wasn't next to her she saw her coven mate staring wide eyed at a blond vampire that had the same expression looking back at Maggie. Confused on what was happening she addressed Carlisle " Carlisle why have you asked us here and why have we been met with such a force?
"Oh we aren't going to attack you." Carlisle realized what it must looked like to the Irish coven with both the Cullen and Denali families greeting them. "The reason I asked you to come here is we had information about Maggie's mate. Information that as you can see was correct."
"You're my mate?" Maggie asked the blond vampire that captivated her attention from the moment their eyes met.
Irina made her way towards Maggie. "Yes, my name is Irina and I have waited a very long time to find you."
"I think an explanation is in order." Siobhan watched as her coven mate hugged Irina.
"Of course would you like to come inside or would you prefer to talk here." Carlisle was extremely happy that this had all worked out like Isabella said it would. If not he didn't know exactly what would have happen as the Irish coven weren't ones you messed with. They were known for the fighting prowess of both Siobhan and Liam who had fought in many wars and were only left alone by the Volturi because of their known dislike for the royals. Although Aro would love to have them he knew that they would never be loyal to him and that would put him at to much of a risk. They were largely left alone because they had never added more than Maggie to their coven.
"Here is fine." Siobhan still wasn't trusting this situation. They could better defend themselves if they remained outside. "How is it you knew who Maggie's mate was?"
"Its long story but the basics are we encountered a vampire named Isabella who knew. I would introduce you to her but she went off with Rosalie and we don't know when she will be back." Carlisle had been upset that Isabella hadn't stuck around but she claimed that for Rosalie to use her gift she needed to have no distractions. The two had left not telling anyone where they went. It was obvious Isabella was restless and wanted to go home but he along with most everyone else hoped she would stay longer. Now it would all depend on how fast they found Garrett for Kate. Selfishly he wanted it to take a long time.
"How did this Isabella know this information?" Liam asked. This situation was making his fight instinct to kick in as it made no sense. They had never met an Isabella nor this Irina woman so there was no way that he knew of that Isabella would know they were mates.
"Isabella has a gift that is rather unbelievable if you haven't been around to witness her many predictions coming true. One of these predictions was she knew who not only Irina's mate was but her coven leader Tanya's and their sister Kate's as well. Tanya has already been united with her mate and as you can see Irina and Maggie both feel the bond. We are still trying to locate Kate's mate."Carlisle explained.
"So this Isabella is a seer." Siobhan concluded. She had thought it strange that Carlisle had found himself with two seers as it was a rather rare gift amongst vampires.
"Not exactly." Eleazar said.
"If she isn't a seer what is she? Out of any of us you would be able to know." Liam knew of Eleazar's gift and trusted it. The man had worked for and then left the Volturi so in Liam's mind he was a man who was respectable.
Eleazar thought about how to go about explaining Isabella's gift that wouldn't make him sound crazy. He now knew how Isabella felt when trying to convince others. "It's going to sound outrageous but she has the gift to travel between different dimensions. Her travels are for the purpose of uniting that world's Isabella with her true mate which is Tanya. The one thing that remains the same in each dimension is that all true mates are the same. That is how she knew of Maggie and Irina being mates. Our version of Bella has already met with Tanya and they felt the bond immediately."
Siobhan shared a look with Liam and then looked over to Maggie. The girl was still staring into Irina's eyes and it looked like the two were in their own world not even talking to each other. It lent credence to the story being true but she had her doubts. "I have never heard of such a gift before."
"No of us has but everything that she has told us that could have been proven has been including telling us of a gift in one of my own coven that even Eleazar had overlooked. She has also helped two members of this group train their gifts to be stronger and has helped Tanya's human mate activate her shield so she can use it in her human form." Carlisle told them.
"It's true." Eleazar confirmed. "I have known Rosalie for almost a hundred years and never knew she had a gift. Within minutes of training she already has shown great promise in using it. Isabella has also helped one of my coven mates with her gift and informed us that it was not a physical gift but a mental one. Isabella has also been training Kate and Kate can do more with it in a day than she has been able to do in her thousand year existence."
"Amazing." Siobhan tried to think of all the things she was just told. If what was said was actually true she wondered if this Isabella had any information about her coven. "How is it she knew about Maggie though? Did she know about all of us?"
"Isabella is my mate in each dimension. From what she has told us from her travels is that you three are always together. As the mate bonds are the same we have guessed that she has met you guys in numerous dimensions. You will have to ask her for more information but I will warn you she really wants to go home. She is only staying until we find Garrett, Kate's mate." Tanya warned. She could see all the questions in both Siobhan's and Liam's eyes and knew they wanted to talk to Isabella. Unfortunately for them it seemed like there was a line of people waiting for the chance as well. Tanya being one of them.She selfishly hoped that she would be shown some priority as this was her dimensional mate but didn't want to push Isabella to much. Especially when her questions were more like favors she was going to be asking for.
"Will she be back soon?" Liam asked. As he took in the information and the way everyone was reacting he was starting to believe everyone was telling the truth. He only wished Maggie was paying attention for them to confirm it but she was to taken with the newness of the mate bond to be involved in the conversation. His thoughts were among the same as his mate. He wanted to know if this Isabella had any information for them as well. If what was said about her recognizing gifts and helping the others to expand theirs than he would be more than willing to talk to her.
"As we said she is with Rosalie right now. I would recommend having her give you the same mental block she gave all of us." Eleazar explained further as she saw their confusion. "Isabella has the gift of a shield, both physical and mental. The strongest one I have ever encountered and the first time both gifts in a singular vampire. She has helped all of us by placing a mental block around our minds the prevents any type of mental influence. Edward is no longer able to read our minds, Jasper no longer can read and control our emotions, Kate's gift of electrocution no longer works, and if you wished Alice could no longer see your future. We were also told it would block any metal gifts the Volturi guard have including Jane and Alec."
Siobhan went wide eyed at the implications of what that type of shielding could do. With that power it rendered most of the Volturi guard useless. They wouldn't have to worry about Aro ever reading them again or being tortured by the Witch Twins. With her and Liam's fighting abilities unless the Volturi sent a large force they would be safe and not have to always be looking over their shoulders. "If what you are saying is true, would she be willing to do this for us as well?"
"As we have yet to find Garrett I'm sure she would be able to help you. That is the only thing keeping her here though. She is very anxious to get home. Although she did mention she could return to different dimensions, she hasn't really explained if she can control were she travels to. It seems she can control when she goes home though as she has already united Tanya and Bella and she is still here." Carlisle said.
"It seems that you have given us many things to think over and discuss." Siobhan motioned her hand towards Maggie and Irina who were now speaking to softly for anyone to hear. "As it seems that Maggie is preoccupied would you object to us staying here and waiting for Isabella to return. Then we can all discuss the future as it now seems you are now part of our coven."
"I think that's perfectly fine. I only ask that we be quiet as my human mate is asleep." Tanya said. She really would like to go back and hold her mate while she slept but she was the coven leader and because of that she had to play hostess to the Irish coven as now they were connected by a mate bond through coven mates. As she walked back into the house she wondered how Isabella was doing with Rosalie. She wasn't worried about their safety because of what she had seen Isabella do she could easily protect the pair but was more interested in exactly how they were getting along. Rosalie was a very reserved person but it was obvious she already had a soft spot for Isabella. Tanya made a note to ask Isabella about familiar bonds. If they carried over she wondered if her mate and Rosalie would have the same bond that Isabella and her Rosalie did.
