Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Star Wars . Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Star Wars, Lucas Arts and Disney own it.
(Lothal, Lothal System, 13BBY)
Governor Maketh Tua. Tua continued to run the title over in her mind. Governor Arihnda Pryce had given up the position when she left Lothal to serve in the senate.
In response to this? The Empire had decided to send someone to take charge of the sector… Moff Cammor Farren, the Moff who served as Tarkin's second in command more or less.
Tua was well aware that Lothal was an imperial planet. Pryce's last act before retiring from the planet was to annex the planet to the empire.
"Governor?" One of the stormtroopers questioned as the former minister looked up from her desk.
"Did he arrive already?" Tua asked as the stormtrooper nodded.
"The Liberator just arrived in orbit." The stormtrooper stated as Tua composed herself and nodded. She rose as fluidly as her armored uniform would allow.
"Arrange an escort in the hanger." Tua ordered as the imperial soldiers nodded and rushed off to accomplish their task.
Tua knew that she was in charge of Lothal. Cammor was in charge of the sector and such, she was more of a colonel serving a general as it were.
(Lothal Imperial Planetary Occupational Facility, hanger bay 3.)
The Lambda class T-4a shuttle was a rare sight on Lothal. The planet was a backwater, so class wasn't exactly high.
Which surprised Tua as the shuttle arriving was a Star Commuter 2000. The same type of vessel that she had been on only a few weeks prior.
The ramp extended as 4 rows of stormtroopers, all clad in white plastoid armor, stood at attention. It reminded Tua of unmoving statues.
The figure that walked down the ramp was thin and lanky. Well set, yes, but not a man who looked like he conquered galaxies alone. He had brushed back black hair tucked under an Imperial officer's cap. He also wore the grey tunic of an Imperial Moff, and had the five blue over 2 red and 2 gold rank plaque of one. He also held a RK-3 blaster pistol on his belt.
A squadron of troopers, clad in jet black armor, silenced any doubts that this was Moff Cammor to her. The man walked down the ramp and looked around as Tua approached him.
"Moff Farren, thank you for gracing us with your presence." Tua said with a bow as the Moff looked at her.
"You must be Governor Tua?" Cammor questioned as Tua nodded before Cammor looked over his shoulder at the Death Troopers.
"Tell the Liberator to return to orbit and await my word. I don't want citizens worried over the appearance of a Star Destroyer." Cammor ordered as the soldier nodded. Cammor turned to Tua again. "Can you show me to your office? There is much to discuss." Cammor said before Tua nodded. She bumped into the aide behind her in her haste.
If Cammor was annoyed or disgusted? Tua saw no sign of it on his face. He followed the governor to her office at the top of the dome. Tua knew the Moff's office was just above hers.
Cammor waited for her to open the door. He showed a lot more patience then she expected of a Moff. Imperial officers in her experience seemed to only wish to rush around and get what they wanted.
Still? She had JUST met the Moff a few seconds ago. Tua hastily unlocked the door before Cammor followed her inside. His death troopers paused to take up guard positions alongside the door.
"How has your tenure as governor been?" Cammor asked while crossing to the window. He stopped for a moment to look at Tua.
"It's been well, my lord." Tua replied, Cammor scrunched up his face for a moment.
"Cammor." He responded as Tua blinked.
"I'm sorry?" Tua asked before Cammor crossed the room to her.
"Cammor. You can address me as Cammor." Cammor said, casting a glance out the window. "I am not one of the vain officers who wish to have the world gifted to them on a silver platter. I did not come to execute you and watch your body crash to the ground like rubbish if you think I did. I am also not here to grind an iron fist upon the people of Lothal like most Imperial nobility enjoy." Cammor said before taking a seat… Across from her desk.
"Now, what can you tell me about Lothal?" Cammor questioned.
Author Notes
Phew, first chapter done! I wanted to make an Imperial Moff story with Tua with the empire as good guys since the Mandalorian. Cammor is supposed to be… Different, then most imperials. Next chapter will be soon hopefully and will show Cammor and Tua discussing Lothal and setting up their working relationship as well as Cammor's plans and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
