A/N: Here it is, the second update of the day, as promised! :) Happy reading and I anxiously await your reviews. Especially on Ruby and Belle lol
By 12:25pm they land smoothly. Regina looks out the window and spots a big Volkswagen minivan waiting for them.
While Emma congratulates the pilots on their terrific landing skills, everyone steps off the jet, and begins climbing the minivan. Everyone but Regina, who remains at her wife's side. And soon Emma leads her down the steps and towards Gold, who waits for them by the vehicle.
"A minivan?" Says Emma in surprise as Gold slides open the door.
Gold gives her a tight, contrite smile and a slight shrug.
Emma smiles, to Regina's and even Gold's surprise. "Last minute, I know," she says.
Gold returns to the plane to retrieve their luggage's.
"Want to make out in the back of the van?" Emma murmurs to her wife, a mischievous gleam in her eye.
Regina smirks. Who is this woman and what has she done with Ms. Unbelievably Angry of the last couple of days? Was it the Colorado mountain air? She wasn't sure, but she wasn't complaining.
"Come on, you two. Get in," Ivy says from behind them.
All climb in, Emma and Regina move to the very back seats and sit down. Regina snuggles against Emma, and Emma puts her arm around the back of her wife's seat.
"Comfortable?" She murmurs, as Ivy and Ella take the seats in front of them.
"Yes." Regina smiles and Emma kisses her forehead. And what a great feeling it is. If it wasn't that they had this much company around them, she would take Emma up on her word of making out in the back seats of this minivan. Was it the Colorado mountain air that was affecting her, too?
They are heading towards Aspen. The trees are green, but a whisper of the coming fall is evident here and there in the yellowing tips of the leaves. The sky is a clear crystal blue, and the clouds looked more white and fluffier than the ones back home. Everything looked so clean- seriously!- no litter anywhere. All around them in the distance loomed the Rockies, the highest peak directly ahead. They're lush and green, and the highest are capped with snow and look like a Bob Ross painting of mountains.
They are literally entering the winter playground of the rich and famous. And Regina can't help to think that she owns a house here. And a familiar ping of, what have I done to deserve all this wealth? As she tries to wrap her head around Emma's wealthy state taunts her. Because what has she done to deserve such a lifestyle? She's done nothing. Except fall in love with this beautiful woman sitting beside her.
"Have you been to Aspen before, Gina?" Ella turns to ask, dragging the brunette out of her many thoughts.
"No, first time."
"I used to come here a lot with my folks. My dad was a keen skier. My mom, less so."
Regina smiles, turning her attention to Emma next. "How long have you had a place here?"
"Nearly two years. It's yours now, too, Mrs. Swan," she says softly.
"I know," Regina whispers. She snuggles up more into Emma's side, feeling her wife's warm embrace cocoon her in, protectively so. Every now and again she would take a whiff of her wife's shirt and jacket, breathing in her rich intoxicating scent, while hearing the soothing sound of her laughter escape her as she exchanged a few words with Ruby, Ivy and Ella. Belle on the other hand was quiet, and Regina couldn't help but wonder if she was okay. It wasn't like her to be this quiet.
Then, Regina remembers that their home here in Aspen was redesigned by Zelena Greene and rebuilt by Ruby. She wonders if that's what could possibly be bothering Belle. She makes a mental note to herself to ask her later about her troubles and relationship with Ruby.
Regina falls in love with Aspen upon their arrival. It was a beautiful, rich, elegant part of town- just like her wife. Of course Emma would fit in here.
"Why did you choose Aspen?" She asks her.
"What?" Emma regards her quizzically.
"To buy a place."
"Mom and dad used to bring us here when we were kids. I learned to ski here, and I like the place. I hope you do, too- otherwise we'll sell the house and choose somewhere else that's more to your liking."
As simple as that ladies and gentleman!
Emma tucks a strand of hair behind her wife's ear. "You look lovely today," she murmurs.
"Do I?" She asks her, her brow raised. She isn't wearing anything fancy, nor elegant to look lovely in. Just some jeans, boots, a white shirt and a navy blue jacket on top.
Emma nods. "You always do." She kisses the brunette, a tender, sweet and loving kiss.
As they leave the town behind, they drive along, climbing up a mountain road, and Regina can feel Emma tense beside her.
"What's wrong?" She asks her.
"I hope you like it," the blonde says quietly. "We're here."
Gold slows and turns through a gateway made of gray, beige, and red stones. He heads down the driveway and finally pulls up outside, the impressive house. Double fronted with high-pitched roofs and built of dark wood and the same mixed stone as the gateway. It's stunning- modern and stark, very much Emma's style.
Once again, Zelena Green sure knew her stuff. And props to Ruby for rebuilding it. As everyone climbed out of the minivan, she could see the delight in Ruby's eyes at hers and Zelena's work of art.
"Do you like it?" Emma asks, rather anxious for her wife's answer.
"It's beautiful, Emma." Regina smiles, which makes Emma smile all the more.
"Come," she says, an excited, though anxious, gleam in her eyes as if she's about to show her her science project or something.
Ivy runs her way up the stairs to where a woman stands in the doorway. She's tiny and her gray hair matches her well. Ivy flings her arms around her neck and hugs her tightly with such delight.
"Who's that?" Regina asks as Emma helps her out of the van.
"Mrs. Potts. She lives here with her husband. They look after the place."
Ivy is busy making introductions- Ella, then Belle. Ruby hugs Mrs. Potts, too. As Gold unloads the van, Emma takes Regina's hand and leads her to the front door.
"Welcome back, Mrs. Swan." Mrs. Potts smiles.
"Mrs. Potts, this is my wife, Regina," Emma says proudly.
"Mrs. Swan." Mrs. Potts nods a respectful greeting. Regina holds out her hand and they shake in greeting. "I hope you've had a pleasant flight. The weather is supposed to be fine all weekend, though I'm nor sure." She says with a sweet smile that reminds her of Mrs. Lucas' back home. "Lunch is ready whenever you want."
Regina warms to her immediately.
"Here. Allow me." Emma grabs Regina and lifts her off of her feet.
"What are you doing?" Regina squeals, her cheeks slightly pink with everyone's eyes on them.
"Carrying you over yet another threshold, Mrs. Swan."
Regina grins and is carried into the wide hallway, and after a brief kiss given, Emma sets her down gently onto the hardwood floor. The interior decor is stark and reminds the brunette of the great room of their apartment back home- all white walls, dark wood, and contemporary abstract art. The hallway opens up into a large sitting area where three off-white leather couches surround a stone fireplace that dominates the room. The only color is from the soft cushions scattered on the couches. Ivy grabs Ella's hand and drags her farther into the house.
Belle whistles loudly. "Nice place."
Regina glances around and spots Ruby helping Gold with the luggage.
"Would you like a tour?" Emma asks her.
"Sure." Once again Regina finds herself being overwhelmed by her wife's wealth. How much did this place cost? It's also hers now, and she has contributed nothing to it. She travels back to when Emma invited her over to her apartment for the first time. She was overwhelmed then by the size of it.
Emma frowns but takes her wife's hand, leading her through the various rooms. The state-of-the-art kitchen is all pale marble counter tops and black cupboards. There's an impressive wine cellar, and an expansive den downstairs, complete with a large plasma screen TV, soft couches… and a billiards table.
Regina tries her best to hide her blush as the memory of their first billiard game comes to her mind. But, Emma catches her, of course.
"Fancy a game?" The blonde asks, a wicked gleam in her eye. Despite her smirk, Regina shakes her head, being led through the first floor. There are four bedrooms upstairs, each with an en suite bathroom.
The master suite is something else. The bed is huge, bigger than the bed in their home, and faces an enormous picture window looking out over Aspen and toward the verdant mountains.
"That's Ajax Mountain… or Aspen Mountain, if you like," Emma says, eyeing her wife warily. She's standing in the doorway, her hands tucked into her jeans pockets.
Regina nods.
"You're very quiet," she murmurs.
"It's lovely, Emma." And suddenly, Regina can't understand why, but she's homesick. She's wishing to be back in their apartment.
Emma takes five long steps, and finds herself standing before her wife, taking her chin in the grasp of her thumb and forefinger. "What is it?" She asks, her eyes searching brown ones.
I wish I knew. But while Regina can figure that out for herself, she comes up with an answer.
"You're very rich."
"Yes."
"Sometimes, it just takes me by surprise how wealthy you are."
"We are."
"We are," Regina mutters automatically.
"Don't stress about this, Gina, please. It's just a house."
"And what did Zelena do here, exactly?"
"Zelena?" Emma's brows raise.
"Yes. She remodeled this place, did she not?"
"Yes, she did. She designed the den downstairs. Ruby did the build." She rakes a hand through her fallen golden strands and frowns at her. "Why are we talking about Zelena?"
"Did you know she had a fling with Ruby?"
Emma gazes at her for a moment, her expression unreadable. "Ruby's fucked most of New York, Gina." She smiles as her wife's lips part and her eyes grow wide. "Mainly women, I understand," she jokes. And Regina can't help but think she is amused by her expression.
"Has she?"
Emma nods. "It's none of my business." She holds her palms up.
"I don't think Belle knows."
"I'm not sure Ruby broadcasts that information. Belle seems to be holding her own."
Regina is shocked. I mean sure Belle mentioned it to her once, but she mentioned that they had slept together once, not a whole fling with half of New York. Belle must not know. Who would have thought, sweet, unassuming, brunette-haired, blue-eyed Ruby.
Emma tilts her head to one side, scrutinizing the shocked brunette before her. "This can't just be about Zelena's or Ruby's promiscuity."
"I'm sorry. After all that's happened this week, it's just…" Regina sighs, feeling tearful all of a sudden. What was wrong with me? Was it really that?
Emma pulls her wife into her embrace, burying her nose in her jet black hair. "I know. I'm sorry, too. Let's relax and enjoy ourselves, okay? You can stay here and read, watch God-awful TV, shop, go hiking- fishing even. Whatever you want to do. And forget what I said about Ruby. That was indiscreet of me."
"That actually explains why she's always teasing you," the brunette murmurs, nuzzling her wife's chest.
"She really has no idea about my past. My family practically assumed I was celibate." She chuckles, and what a sweet sound it was for Regina's ears.
Regina lets out a small laugh, beginning to relax in her wife's arms. "Even I thought you were celibate. How wrong was I." She wraps her arms more around her wife's frame.
"Mrs. Swan, are you smirking at me?"
"Maybe a little." Regina smiles, feeling more relaxed. It was crazy how quick her mood changed. Maybe it was because some of Emma has rubbed off on her? Who knew. "You know, what I don't understand is why do you have this place."
"What do you mean?" Emma's brow furrows.
"You have the boat, which I get, you have the place in Seattle for business- but why here? It's not like you shared it with anyone."
Emma stills, and silent for several seconds. "I was waiting for you," she says softly, her eyes dark green and luminous.
"That's such a lovely thing to say." Regina smiles like the lovesick fool that she is.
"It's true. I didn't know it at the time." Emma smiles her shy smile.
"I'm glad you waited."
"You are worth waiting for, Regina Swan." She tips her head up by her chin, leans down and kisses her tenderly.
"So are you." Regina smiles. "Although I feel like I cheated. I didn't have to wait long for you at all."
Emma grins. "Am I that much of a prize?"
"Emma, you are the state lottery, the cure for cancer, and the three wishes from Aladdin's lamp all rolled into one."
Emma's brow raises.
"When will you realize this?" She scolds her wife. "You were a very eligible bachelorette. And I don't mean all this." She waves a hand dismissively at their surroundings. "I mean in here." Her hand lands over Emma's heart, and she watches green eyes widen. She is no longer facing her sexy, confident wife, but that terrified and lost little blonde girl. "Believe me, Emma," she whispers, clasping Emma's head in her hands, she pulls her toward her and claims her lips. A groan escapes the blonde, And Regina doesn't know if it's because of what she just said, or it was maybe the sexy, low groan that left her wife's throat, but Regina claims her. Her lips move against Emma's, her tongue inviting itself into her mouth.
Once they break apart from their kiss, both women find themselves breathless.
"When are you going to get it through your exceptionally thick skull that I love you?" Regina asks, exasperated.
Emma swallows. "One day," she says with a smile.
Regina considers this progress.
"Come. Let's have some lunch- the others will be wondering where we are. We can discuss what we all want to do."
They have all finished eating their exquisite Italian meal, prepared wonderfully by Mrs. Potts, and are enjoying their second bottle of wine. Regina is a little buzzed from it, but feeling absolutely delighted being surrounded by the woman she loved and all of her dear friends.
"Oh no!" Belle exclaimed, all eyes on her. "Look!" She points to the great window, where drops of rain are well visible, along with the dark gray skies.
"There goes our hike," Ruby mutters, sounding vaguely relieved. Belle scowls at her. Regina can tell that something is wrong with them. Both women have been very relaxed with everyone, except each other.
"We could go into town," Ivy pipes up. Ella smirks at her.
"Perfect weather for fishing," Emma suggests.
"I'll go fish," Ella says.
"Let's split up." Ivy smirks, clapping her hands. "How about Gina, Belle and I go shopping- and you three," she motions toward Emma, Ella and Ruby, "go fishing or whatever boring thing you want to do outdoors."
Everyone exchanges quick glances around each other.
"Gina, what do you want to do?" Emma asks.
Regina glances at Belle who mouths at her to pick shopping. Perhaps she wants to talk. The brunette smiles, her eyes back on Emma. "I don't mind going shopping with them."
Emma smirks. "I can stay here with you, if you'd like," she murmurs, and something dark unfurls in Regina's belly at her tone alone.
"No, you go fish," Regina answers. As much as she would love to spend some much needed time with Emma, she also wanted to talk to Belle.
"Sounds like a plan," Belle stands from the table.
"Gold will accompany you," Emma says, and it's a given- not up for discussion.
"Emma, really, we don't need babysitting." Belle snorts.
Regina places a hand on her friend's shoulder. "I think Gold should come."
Belle shrugs and walks to stand by Ivy, not even saying goodbye or an 'I'll see you soon' to Ruby. Not even a kiss.
Ruby frowns. "I need to pick up a battery for my watch in town." She glances quickly at Belle, and Regina picks up on her slight blush forming at her cheeks. Of course, Belle doesn't notice because she's not even giving her the time of day.
"Take one of the vehicles, Ruby. When you come back we can go fishing," Emma says.
"Yeah," Ruby mutters, but she seems distracted. "Good plan."
I Say a Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin is surrounding a small designer boutique that Ivy introduces to Regina and Belle, while Gold waits outside. Regina does like this song. Maybe she will add it to Emma's playlist on her phone.
"This!" Ivy exclaims, startling both Belle and Regina as she holds up a scrap of all black material. "This will look wonderful on you, Gina." She hands it to Regina. "Here, try it on."
Regina takes a good look at the material, her brow raised. "Isn't it a little… short?"
"You'll look fantastic in it. Emma will love it."
"I don't know." Regina hands back the dress, because she knows even Emma will agree with her that it's too short. Even though she does like it.
Ivy rolls her eyes, equally to Belle. "Gina, you have legs to die for, and if we all go dancing tonight-" she smirks- "you'll look hot for your wife."
"She's right, Gina. Just try it on!" Belle agrees, beaming at the thought of going dancing. If there was one thing she was great at- it was dancing. Regina certainly noticed Belle being more relaxed now that she was away from Ruby.
"See! She agrees. Go. Try it on." Ivy orders, and reluctantly Regina heads for the dressing room.
Regina has to admit, the dress- if you can call it that- fit her very seductively well. It wrapped around her body in all the right places, it was backless and once again- ridiculously short. She knows her wife will protest against it, so she makes sure to keep the eight hundred and fifty dollar receipt. Plus her thousand dollar new pair of heels. Of course, she thought it was ridiculous to pay this much for a piece of cloth and new heels, but between Ivy and Belle grilling her to buy them- she gave up her new black card to purchase them.
While she waited for Ivy and Belle to decide on their next purchased items for the night, Regina decided to browse some more on her own around the store. Her eyes moved toward the window, taking in once again, the beauty and cleaness of the Aspen town. And like magnets they were on- Zelena? Her brow furrowed at the sight of the red head. What was she doing here? Suddenly, she recognized the dark gray vehicle that Ruby had driven to town park right beside her. Ruby! Regina's eyes grow wide as she spots both Ruby and Zelena greet each other with megawatt bright smiles, a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Zelena's hand places itself against Ruby's back as they enter a jewelry store. Well, Ruby did say she needed a new battery for her watch, but surely that wasn't a difficult task to master without the help of someone she once had a fling with.
Still. What the hell were they doing together? It didn't make any sense at all. Especially when things between her and Belle seemed to be a little rocky.
"What's wrong, Gina?" Belle asks, emerging from the dressing room along with Ivy. Which makes Regina whip her head around to look at her wide-eyed. "Is it the dress? Have you changed your mind? I promise you look sensational in it."
"No. The dress is… fine."
"Are you okay?" Belle's eyes are wide.
What should she do? Should she tell her? She was her best friend and to keep something like this from her would devastate her. Then again, Regina couldn't entirely be sure that anything was going on between Ruby and Zelena. It could be nothing. Maybe it was just an innocent meeting between old friends. Old friends that fucked occasionally.
"I'm fine." Regina smiles her best smile. "Shall we pay? It's on me." Grabbing a hold of her friend's arm she turns her away from the window- just in case.
Once they are back at the house, while Ivy leaves to put away all of her new purchased clothes, Regina and Belle sit on the couch, legs curled up, in front of a warm fire, and strawberries daiquiris in hand. Regina figured, what perfect time but to bring Ruby up to see how things truly were between them.
"How are things between you and Ruby? Is everything alright?" She asks.
Belle sighs after taking a much needed sip of her drink. "Things are…" She pauses, and Regina could tell there is something wrong. "Ruby has just been a little distant lately," she murmurs, her eyes focused on the flames before them.
Oh, Belle. "Maybe it's work?" Regina tries to remain optimistic.
Belle nods. "She has been working a lot, another reason why when Emma seeked her out to tag along on this vacation, Ruby was totally on board." She chuckles. "Of course, her friend-" she does air quotes with her fingers at the word 'friend'- "Zelena has a house here, and Ruby…" she stops for a beat. "Well, she's Ruby." She shrugs, "and let's face it- Zelena Greene is a very attractive woman," she rolls her eyes, "with very huge…"
"Plans?" Regina finishes her friend's sentence, hearing the pain in her voice.
Belle nods after taking another much needed sip. "Exactly." She sighs, her eyes concentrated on the dancing flames before them again. "Boy, does Ruby love looking at those plans."
"No, hey," Regina reaches for Belle's hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze, not wanting to believe that Ruby would dare cheat on her. "Ruby adores you, Belle."
Belle blinks several times as tears sting at her eyes. She smiles a tiny smile and drinks up before giving herself a chance to cry. What should Regina do? Should she tell her what she saw? If she did, that would completely crush her and confirm what Belle was already thinking. Since day one, since they met, Belle and Ruby have been inseparable, all over each other and possibly equally or more insatiable than her and Emma. No! Regina shakes her head, refusing to believe that Ruby- Emma's sister- would dare to hurt Belle this way.
"I really like her, Gina," Belle whispers, her eyes prickling with tears again. This is so unlike Belle. She would never cry over a girl before, not to Regina's knowledge. "More than that, actually." She pauses for a nanosecond. "I've fallen in love with her. At first I thought it was just the great sex. But she's charming and kind and warm and funny." She chuckles. "I could really see us growing old together- you know… a house, maybe some kids, grandkids even- the whole happy ending."
"Maybe you should talk to her. Try to find some alone time here. Find out what's going on with her."
Belle nods sadly. "Maybe. We'll see."
Regina can't think of anything more to say or do but pull the woman into a hug and comfort her, deciding that she would not mention seeing Ruby and Zelena across the street, entering a jewelry shop. But that didn't mean she would hesitate to mention it to Ruby once she caught her alone.
With Ivy back to join them for drinks, Regina notices that the fire is down to its last log, noticing the flames slowly starting to die out.
"Ivy, do you know where the wood for the fire is kept?" She asks the other brunette.
"I think it's in the garage."
"I'll go find some. It'll give me an opportunity to explore." Regina rises from the couch and ventures out into the three car garage that adjoins with the house. Flicking on the lights, the fluorescent bulbs ping to life. She notices the same dark gray vehicle she saw Ruby driving this morning, along with two snowmobiles and two trail bikes.
"Do you ride?" Ruby asks from behind Regina, startling her.
"You're back." Regina blurts out.
"It would appear so." Ruby grins, and Regina realizes that Emma might say the same thing to her- but without the huge, heart-melting grin. "Well?" She asks again.
"Sort of." What has her so damn happy?
"Do you want a ride?"
Regina snorts. "I don't think so… I doubt Emma would be very happy with you if I did."
"Emma's not here." Ruby smirks- the Swan family smirk- Regina's seen it enough on Emma and occasionally on David as well. Ruby walks over to one of the bikes and straddles it, grabbing onto the handle bars.
"Emma has… issues about my safety. I shouldn't." Regina kindly smiles. As kindly as she could master, because if Ruby was in fact cheating- there was no way she wanted to do anything with the woman.
"You always do what she says?" Ruby has a wicked sparkle in her blue eyes, and Regina can see a glimmer of the bad girl image she clearly carried around… a bad girl Belle has fallen in love with. The bad girl from Boston.
"No." Regina's brow arches upward, a hand on her hip. "But I'm trying to do right for once. She has enough to worry about right now, she doesn't need to add me to that mix. Do you know if she's back yet?"
"I don't know."
"Did you not go fishing with her and Ella?"
Ruby shakes her head. "I had some business to deal with in town."
Business? More like a pair of red headed plans. Regina inhales sharply and gapes at her.
"If you don't want to ride, what are you doing in the garage?" Ruby is intrigued.
"I'm looking for more firewood."
"There you are. Oh, Ruby- you're back." Belle interrupts before Regina can confront the brunette about Zelena.
"Hey, baby." Ruby smiles broadly.
"Catch anything?"
Regina watches Ruby's reaction carefully.
"No. I had a few things to take care of in town."
And for a brief moment, Regina can see a flash of uncertainty across her face. Shit! Maybe she is cheating.
Belle looks at both Ruby and Regina, confused. "Well, I just came to see what was keeping Regina. What's going on here?"
"We were just shooting the breeze," Ruby says, and the tension crackles between her and Belle.
All three remain standing in awkward silence inside the garage, until the door to it slides open. Quite loud that it startles them. And Regina has never been more thankful upon Emma's arrival. Ella quickly steps out of the car, unloading it, while Emma stops as she sees Belle, Ruby and Regina standing there.
"Are you starting a garage band?" Emma asks sardonically as she wanders in, heading right for her wife.
Regina grins, happy to see her wife. Beneath her black jacket, she can see the coveralls she sold her when she stopped by the hardware store to see her again.
"Hi," Emma says, looking quizzically at her wife, ignoring her sister and Belle.
"Hi. Nice coveralls."
"Very handy for fishing. A lot of pockets." Her voice is soft and seductive, for Regina's ears only.
"You're wet," Regina murmurs.
"You have no idea," Emma teases, smirking. "What are you all doing in the garage?"
"Gina came to fetch some firewood." Ruby arches a single brow. "I tried to tempt her to take a ride." She smirks.
Emma stills and her face falls.
"She said no. That you wouldn't like it," Ruby says kindly.
Emma's dark gaze swings back to her wife. "Did she, now?" She murmurs.
"Well, if you all don't mind, I'd like to go back inside." Belle storms into the house, throwing a glare directly at Ruby. Obviously still pretty upset about whatever was going on between them.
Ruby shrugs rather apologetically and heads inside next without another word.
"You're very wet… Shall I run you a bath?" Regina asks, her eyes lustful as she looked up into dark, equally lustful green eyes.
"As long as you join me." She leans down and kisses Regina.
The bath is relaxing and warm as they sit in the oval giant bathtub, opposite of each other. Regina's eyes are closed as Emma is skillfully massaging her feet, and it feels… oh so good.
"Did you have fun today?" Emma asks, gently pulling on each of her wife's toes.
Regina hums, smiling, her eyes slowly opening to catch green ones staring back at her. "Very much. I can't believe you didn't come along. What if I had gotten mauled by a bear?" She teases.
Emma's smirk matches her own. "Good luck to the bear." She places a sweet kiss against her wife's big toe. Her hands continue their magic work.
This made Regina chuckle, but her smirk was soon gone as she recalled the scene before her, taking place across the street.
"I saw Zelena in town," she murmured.
"Really? I think she has a place here," Emma says dismissively. And Regina knows she isn't interested in the slightest.
"She was with Ruby."
Emma's hands stop massaging. That information obviously caught her attention. When Regina opens her eyes, Emma's head is cocked to one side.
"What do you mean with Ruby?" She asks, perplexed.
Regina quickly explains what she saw during her shopping spree with the girls.
"Gina, they're just friends. I think Ruby is pretty crazy about Belle." She pauses, then says quietly. "In fact, I know she's pretty crazy about her."
"Can you blame her? Belle is gorgeous." Regina smirks.
Emma snorts. "I'm still glad it was you who walked into my office." She drops her wife's left foot and picks up her right, continuing her delicious massage.
Regina is looking at herself in the mirror, she is wearing the short black dress. Too short! She can't imagine Emma agreeing for her to wear this out to dinner and possibly dancing. Her gold hooped earrings match perfectly with her gold necklace of choice. Her lipstick ruby red. She did look quite hot. Her eyes took in Emma's beautiful form as her wife stood behind her. Her lips are parted and her eyes are wide.
Oh, no…
"Gina, you look… Wow."
"Do you like it?"
"Yes, I guess so." Emma's voice is a little hoarse. She's wearing her black jeans, a white t-shirt and her suit jacket, along with her converse. Her hair tied up in a messy ponytail. Her look reminded Regina of the time she was drunk and Emma went to her rescue. How far they have come. Her hands land on the brunette's waist as she stands behind her, her gaze fascinated by her naked back. "This is very revealing," she murmurs.
Regina can feel Emma's fingers skim lower, over her backside and down to her naked thigh. Then slowly, she feels her fingers back up to the hem of her skirt. Watching this is erotic alone.
"It's not far from here." Emma touches the hem, then moves her fingers higher. "To here," she whispers. She listens to Regina's gasp as her fingers stroke her sex, moving tantalizingly over her panties, feeling her, teasing her.
"Your point?" Regina whispers.
"My point is… it's not far from here-" her fingers glide over her wife's panties, then one is inside, against her soft dampened flesh- "to here. And then… to here." She slips a finger right inside.
Regina gasps and can't help to moan softly at her wife's erotic touch.
"This is mine," Emma murmurs in her ear. She moves her finger slowly in and out. "I don't want anyone else to see this."
Regina's breathing shutters, and her panting matches Emma's fingering rhythm. Watching her wife fucking her in the mirror was… beyond erotic.
"So be a good girl and don't bend down, and you should be fine."
"You're approving of this dress?" Regina whispers, her brow slightly raised.
"No, but I'm not going to stop you from wearing it. You look stunning, Regina." Abruptly Emma withdraws her finger, leaving the brunette wanting more, she moves around to face her wife. She places the tip of her invading finger against Regina's lower lip. She grins as Regina places a kiss against the base of her finger. Taking that same finger, she places it inside her own mouth and sucks, indicating to the brunette that she tastes good… really good.
Their hands join as they walk out to join everyone for their eventful evening.
They eat at a nice restaurant for the evening, until finally Ivy gets her way and convinces everyone to go out dancing at a nightclub. Not really Emma or Regina's scene, but Ella, Ruby and Belle fit right in. They don't waste any time in being out on the dance floor. Shortly after a few drinks, Emma looks relaxed and pretty content with this vacation. The music is loud, vibrating around them and below their feet for the night. The lights are shining with shades of blue, purple, pink, red, etc. They are all seated at a private lounge, right near the exit. The bar is like a horseshoe shape, and is near them. The place was packed tonight, but they weren't overcrowded with people, thank God.
To Regina's surprise Ruby had been mostly quiet that entire night. But she seemed to be waiting for something. Something that apparently only Emma knew about, given that she noticed how both sisters exchanged an agreeing nod.
Abruptly, Ruby startles all of them by standing in front of Belle. All eyes turn on her. She gazed at Emma once more, who nodded to her with a tiny smirk, as the brunette then dropped to one knee before Belle.
"Ruby, what are you doing?" Belle's eyes grow wide, not knowing what to expect.

"Oh, my God…" Belle's lips part, her eyes quickly glance over at Regina who is equally in awe.
"Spend your life with me." Ruby places a diamond ring before a shocked Belle. "Would you marry me?"
