Well.
Two and a half months without and update.
When I promised to update at least every month.
That ain't right.
Well, to put it bluntly some shit came down in my personal life that affected my flow of updating my story.
Lets get it out of the way first. NO I'M NOT CANCELING THE STORY. There's no way in hell I'm going to cancel my first fanfic this early. Especially with the positive feedback I've gotten.
One of the problems I do have with the story itself is the length of the chapters.
Compared with 'This Bites!' I just feel like the chapters are too short sometime.
Which is why the next chapter, the one where Lennon will meet Carrot for the first time will be around 10,000 which is pretty damn big.
Next is writers block.
I've been so worried for characters to be so OOC that I got really nervous when I'm writing Carrot in particular that I kinda... put it on the back burner to cool off.
The reason why I want to Carrot's character so right is that she'll have a major role in the story. No shit. But I also want Carrot's and Lennon's chemistry to come off as real and genuine as possible.
A reason, outside the story, is that my personal life... is odd.
There's been shooting's around my neighborhood, which has been pretty damn stressful. My uncle has gotten out of prison early due to good behavior so, yay. Lastly, I've turned 18 which means I'm going to get a job soon and HOPEFULLY I'll get the job that my Dad is helping me get, which is about 19.00 an hour.
I know this isn't the best excuse for the hiatus but I hope you can forgive me.
Though I guess I should tell you some plans I have for the story.
As stated, I have plans that all of the movies will be cannon and some filler arcs, like G-8 will be cannon. But I also have plans for certain video games to be cannon, some of them will be obscure, like Chopper's Big Adventure.
Also there will be all new arcs entirely! One of which will delve deeper into Lennon's past, incase your curious.
Also lastly, do you want me to do other fanfics? I've been having an idea for a Fist of The North Star fanfic where it will have an in universe OC protagonist. A My Hero Academia fanfic and lastly a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure fanfic are also things that I've been thinking about.
The reason why I've been thinking of other fanfics is that, maybe, while I'm working on another fanfic, it might make it easier for me to write 'Iron Will' as it might make my creative juices flow more.
Once again, I'm sorry for it taking so long but, on the bright side, I'm almost at 5,000 words, so we're half way there!
