A/N: La tee da, I love Rachel and Finn, la tee da, I'm going to die because we don't have Glee for four months.
Finn walked in the door of his apartment and smiled. He was so glad to be home; he'd had the worst day at work. Taking off his jacket and hanging it on the coat rack by the door, he called, "Honey?" No response. "Rach?"
"I'm in the bedroom," he heard and let out a sigh of relief. Ever since the burglaries at the apartment building next to theirs, he had been on edge every time he came home from work and Rachel wasn't in view. He'd prefer a home in a nice neighborhood, but their budget simply didn't allow for it.
He walked into their bedroom and saw her sitting cross-legged on the bed folding laundry. The way she meticulously set every sock and shirt in its own pile made Finn smile. Everything about her made him smile, really, even the little things. Especially the little things. "Hey babe," he said as he leaned over to kiss her.
"Hi, sweetie. How was work?" she asked, scooting over to make room for him to sit on the bed.
He growled and shook his head. "I don't wanna talk about it."
She set down the shirt she was folding and put her arms around him. "Bad day, hon?"
"The worst."
She kissed the back of his neck and he smiled. "I know something that'll make you feel better," she said.
"Hot chocolate and peppermint bark?" He perked up at this thought.
She laughed and said, "Okay, I know two things that'll make you feel better." Taking his hand, she bit her lip, smiled and said, "Finn, I'm pregnant."
His mouth fell open. "Really? Like, for real?"
She laughed and nodded. "Yep."
"And… And I'm the father and everything? I'm really the dad?"
"You are really the dad."
He leaned back onto the headboard. "Wow. I'm gonna be a father."
"You're gonna be the best father," she smiled and hugged him.
He held up a finger. "Wait," he said, "what are you thinking of naming it?"
"Uhm, well, if it's a girl, I like Adelaide, and for a boy, maybe Roland? You know, for your dad?"
He smiled and squeezed her. "That's perfect." He relaxed on the bed and she went back to folding clothes. A few minutes passed before he said, "Uhm, Rach? Can I… can I make up the middle name?"
"Yes, if it's a girl, the middle name can be Drizzle," she said with a hint of laughter in her voice.
He punched the air with a fist of victory. "Yes!"
