Hi! IM BACK Y'ALL. Our exam for the last semester has finally ended along with our two fvcking research paper! I'M FINALLY FREE! Huhuhu but just thinking that I'm gonna be a freshmen in college one month from now increases my anxiety!!!

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter! I've been keeping this in draft for about a week and finished it just now, so sorry co'z it kinda seemed rushed. Hehe.

CHAPTER 20

Dinner time is about to start, everyone wants to welcome the new recruits with warm and delicious meat. Even though Petra and Oluo assured her that it's fine, Sakura still feels like she doesn't deserve the to be a part of it since she's not one of those who graduated, and the fact that she's the only one who is a trainee, made her feel really out of place. So when Levi ordered her to come to his office, she immediately bid a goodbye and walk upstairs.

"Why did you call for me, Captain?" Sakura smiled since she was in a good mood after getting along with her friends again. The door creaked as she slowly closed it while looking at the man in the front desk in the center of the room.

His face is full of seriousness and after taking a glance of it, she's afraid that he will once again ruin her mood. They were the only once in the room so it really seemed like they have something important to talk about. But nevertheless, she saluted and walk straight to his direction.

"Captain?" She repeated when he didn't utter a single word.

"So you decided to be a soldier again, huh?" He asked in his usual voice but still she can hear it's sarcasm.

She scoffed. Now, her day is officially ruined, just like that. "I guess I am. Why did you call for me, Sir?" She simply answered for the reason that she don't want to add her annoyance anymore. Regardless on how she acted like that, he didn't retorted back like he always used to do. She raised a brow, waiting as he just stared at her coldly.

"We're giving you an assignment that only you, can accomplish. If you succeeded, we will officially recruit you to the scout. However, if you happen to lie to us, you already know what will happen."

"I decline." She stated with bored expression, mainly to annoy the man.

Sakura smirked when she saw his glare became deeper than before. "You have no choice but to obey since it's not a request. We are--"

Satisfied, Sakura suppress the chuckle on her voice as she cut him off. "Yeah, yeah... What kind of assignment?" It's really weird though, why give her a mission at this time of day? Have they discovered something about the enemy?

He clicked his tongue in annoyance. "We believe that there are more titan shifters who are hiding like rat in the scouts, more likely, the new recruits. And we also concluded that they're the one who killed the titan subjects, to stop us from learning more about them. Therefore, we need--"

Sakura crossed her arms, cutting him off with her bored tone. "So you want me to sense it inside of everyone? Are you insane?" But when she saw his reaction she immediately drop her arms on both sides in a soldier manner.

He looked like he's ready to kill her now. "Sakura Haruno, I do not tolerate such actions. Especially, I don't want people to cut me off while I'm speaking. I hope you're still aware that I am your Captain and you're still a trainee who haven't graduated because for some reason you sleep like a shit while I'm the one who keep you under my roof for three fucking years."

Guilt trip over her soul once again that made her shut her mouth while avoiding his eyes. From the first place, it's not her fault that she fell into a coma, hell she can't even remember what had happened before that. But still she can't help but to agree with him. She should be grateful since she doesn't own a house in this world, in which one of the reasons why she begged them to join the survey corps.

However, he always treated her in a rash way that's why she can't also help but to be rude to him. Not to mention that time when he beat the hell out of Eren on the trial just to scare the military police. So she's not going to apologize.

Silence came between them for a few seconds, until he continued. "Why? You can't do it?" He defiantly asked.

Sakura averted her gaze. To tell the truth, ever since she meditated that night after the trial, she felt her chakra is settling in an uncomfortable way inside her chakra coils. What's more is that, it actually felt like it doesn't belongs to her either. She guessed it's the reason why she gets nosebleeds everytime when she overexerts herself.

Therefore, when she sense a bit of her chakra in Eren, she knew that there's something serious going on than what she imagined. Just what the hell happened that night?

She sighed. "... I'll try." Considering that there are so many person that she's going to examine, she's afraid that nosebleed is not the one that she will get. More like she will faint instead. In spite of knowing that, there's a chance that she will found something to understand her new set of chakra and learn on how to stabilize it.

"Hn. Do you have any way on how to execute it in one go without touching them one by one?"

Sakura put a hand under her chin, now that he said it, it makes sense. They will probably be weirded out by her if she do it one after another. "Hmm... I'm not sure... but, I think its possible if we hold hands together?"

Levi sighed that Sakura can feel his stress even from the distance. "It's answered then."

"What?"

"We're going to thank all the great walls tonight."

"I thought you don't want to eat with us?" Oluo mocked at Sakura as soon as he saw her coming to their direction with Captain Levi ahead of her. There's more people than before as Sakura noticed, walking in and out of the hall.Levi passed them then turn to the table where Hange is sitting.

"Umm... I'll be quick." Sakura smiled awkwardly when she saw them both smirking at her as she stopped to their table for the mean time, stealing a side glance to the new recruits.

"Hey Petra, Oluo... are all the new recruits sitting at one table?" She whispered and turn her attention back to them. Since the table is long, it can contain a good amount of people unlike the once in the mess hall in the training camp.

"Yeah, why?" They answered in unison. Because of the sudden curiosity, they also peeked to where she was asking about, noticing her slight uneasiness.

Sakura scratched the side of her brows. "Ahh. I just want to greet them..."

Petra raised both of her brows, thinking that it's unlikely Sakura. But Oluo just nodded his head then leaned back to his chair, closing his eyes. "Alright, you can stay there longer if you want."

"Thanks Oluo." Sakura grin and patted his shoulder then turn to Petra who's still confused on why she suddenly wants to greet people.

"She's talking to those three new kids earlier, I think they're close to each other." Oluo muttered, letting it to reached Petra's hearing, gaining a nod from her as well as Sakura.

Petra grabbed Sakura's hand to stop her from leaving even if she wasn't planning on leaving yet. "You sure you don't want to join the feast?"

Sakura cleared her throat. She's craving to eat meat for pete's sake! "Ahh, yeah. Plus, Captain Levi gives me an assignment that I need to finish tonight."

Petra pouted. "He's really punishing you huh? Then... I'll just bring you food later. Okay?" Although she's sure that she will most likely be unconscious after using her poor excuse of chakra, Sakura still nodded her head to not make her feel bad.

"Thank you Petra, but... my portion is already there. Don't worry! Umm... I guess I'll go now?" Sakura stated pointing her thumb at the back. Storming off while waving bye to them after they nodded. "Bye!"

Her eyes met Mikasa's who looked surprised. As well as Eren and Armin who smiled at her, motioning their hands to let her seat between them, in which she gladly accepted. "Thank you." With the sudden scene that they created, all of their classmates are now looking at her.

Noticing the sudden change in atmosphere, Sakura exhaled, preparing herself then looked at all the person sitting on the same table. "Hello. Can I join you guys for a moment?" Then smiled as brightly as she can. She just hope it doesn't look too force.

"Don't worry, I'll leave before the feast starts so you won't get awkward." They didn't answered but some of them nodded their heads while staring at her, especially the cute little girl with blonde hair and big blue eyes. Feeling a little uncomfortable, Sakura just decided to smile at her then averted her eyes when Armin leaned to her slightly.

"You're not eating with us?" Armin asked from her left side.

She nodded. "Yeah... Captain Levi wants me to do something that I need to finish tonight so, I can't.--" A sudden bang was heard that made them jump from shocked. It's from Mikasa as she stabbed the table with the handle of her utensils, dark aura is coming out of her that made some of them to shiver.

"That short man really have no heart. I swear I'll make him pay someday." Mikasa muttered while glaring at Levi's back, even if Eren is sitting between her and Mikasa, she can still hear it. Then a smirk appeared on her lips. It looks like it's not only her now.

Eren sweat dropped, trying to calm her sister, and Sakura watched it happily.

"Christa, stop that. You look like you're imagining dirty things with her." A tall girl with brown hair spoke. Smirking as the girl Christa glared at her, then turn her eyes back to Sakura.

"You're so pretty..." She breathed while putting her chin comfortably at the back of her hands, still staring dreamily at her.

Sakura blushed at the sudden compliment. "Ah, you too..." Setting a few strands of her hair behind her ear, a mannerism that she have whenever she's feeling shy.

"AH! You're the girl from the gate right?! At the Trost!" A girl with brown hair tied into a ponytail from before suddenly shouted. Pointing her index at Sakura who lifted her head. By this, everyone's attention is now at her direction.

"I knew it! I didn't noticed earlier, but seeing your pink hair up-close suddenly made me remember! Right Connie--?" Then looked at the same gut that she was with earlier too.

"Hey Sasha, lower your voice..." The guy said, putting both of his hands to her mouth. Embarrassed by his friend. But the girl effortlessly took it off of her mouth.

"You didn't have to put your dirty hand on my mouth!"

"Then stopped shouting!"

Sakura forced a laugh as she watched them bicker at each other. Ignoring the stares coming from all different locations.

"Is it true?" A man in front of Armin spoke. Staring darkly at her, she's not sure but she also thinks that he is also glaring at Eren who is sitting at her right.

"Jean..." Eren muttered with a warning, returning the glare.

So to stop anything from happening, Sakura quickly answered. "Yes. You're right." Silence came, then suddenly tons of muttering from everyone was heard.

"Oh my God... do you think the rumor is true?"

"First Eren, now..."

"Of course it's true! Do you think there's other reason why those titans didn't eat her?"

Mikasa, Eren and Armin glanced at Sakura with panicked. They're ready to defend her friend but the pink haired is much more composed than them as she smiled to let them know that she can handle the situation well.

The commotion must have reached the table of the higher-ups as they silently watched from their position. Especially Levi and Hange who have the highest interest in what will happen tonight. While Oluo and Petra are looking at their friend with worry.

"Of course it's true." They gasped.

Meanwhile, the two guy who have a blonde hair and black hair took a side glance at each other, nervousness filling up their stomach as she answered without any hesitation. Sweat starting to form on their forehead. What is she talking about? Is what in their mind at this moment.

"I am the colossal titan." Sakura smirked, finding the situation funny while she looked everyone's reaction. Some of them froze on their spot, some are starting to stand from their seats, and some are preparing themselves to attack.

The three beside her must be confused as hell right now. She's sure of that. But for those who can't hear them, they have no any clue on what is happening. Also, Sakura stole a quick glance from the direction of Levi and Hange who is staring intently at the scene. This is part of their plan, if ever the main plan did not succeeded, at least they will got bit of clue by the reactions that they are giving right now.

"Should we go to her?" Petra asked, her eyes still glued to Sakura.

Only gaining a shrugged by Oluo as he can clearly see her friends' smirking expression. "Nah. She's enjoying it. Let just ask her tomorrow."

Sakura brought her hand on the table, caressing it gently while still watching their faces. "That's why I'm here..." She stated in a low voice. However, a hand was put on top of her hand, Sakura looked at Armin who is obviously nervous at her actions.

"Sakura..." He begged, but Sakura just winked at him and slowly slide his hand off of hers.

"After all those years, finally, I'll be able to wipe all of you right in this second..." She narrated, making sure that she looked intimidating right now.

"...I'm gonna end it all now." Sakura finished in a low voice and brought her hand to her mouth.

"Fuck!"

"Let's get out of here!"

"AHHHHHH!"

Then she bit her hand. Which was Eren's way to transform that she found out by Levi. Causing a huge chaos to all people in the dining hall. Most of the individuals who saw it started to run, and some of the new recruits seems like they're ready to accept their destiny as they cover theirselves with their arms.

But the only ones who really caught her attention was those who looked scared yet ready to kill her even though they have no any weapon in their very hands. She smirked. Now, the target is locked. Even if it's just a pure guest, it still have the high possibility that they are what they're looking for.

"Oww..." She whimpered, taking a good look at the deep bite mark. Causing everyone to peeked to her direction, totally confused. Then she chuckled. "I didn't expected that you believe such rumors about me. See? I did not transform." She shrugged with a grin on her lips.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Jean roared from anger. Sakura laugh at his reaction, especially when he even climb the table with his one leg just to grabbed her collar which alerted Mikasa, Armin, and Eren by her side. Oh boy. This guy really have some issues.

"Jean! Let her go! What the hell are you doing?!" Eren shouted, grabbing his hand on her collar, trying to take it off.

"Now, now, don't get too furious..." She chuckled as she stood up and release herself from his grasp. "I'm just getting tired of people suspecting me as the colossal titan, so I ended it all now. It works right?" Then Sakura wipe the wrinkles that formed on her uniform.

"Well... that's not a good joke..." The same man with short blonde hair and huge shoulder breathed with a sigh of relief.

Sakura chuckled. "Yeah, yeah. Sorry about that." She then motioned everybody to sit back on their places as if nothing ever happened. "I'm impressed though. Most of you guys deserves to be a soldier with the reaction that I saw earlier. That's good." She stated that made everyone to laugh awkwardly. But Jean just scoffed at her.

"Damn... I really though I'm gonna die." Some man muttered while looking at her disbelievingly making everyone agreed with him.

"What's the commotion all about?"

Everyone turned their heads to the two way door. Only to see their Commander, coming to their table with his hand comfortably resting behind him. Out of respect, everyone started to stand up including her, and saluted in a perfect unison.

"We're just joking around Sir." Armin quickly lied and they nodded their heads.

Erwin nodded taking a quick glance at Sakura. "Then. We should start." The blonde Commander begin to walk to the very front where everyone can see him clearly. And the guys who's with him started to scatter to their respective seats.

"Wait, Reiner... Where's your brother?" Connie whispered to the man earlier. Sakura watched as the said man suddenly get agitated in his seat, looking to the crowd entering the hall. Some of them also took a seat at their table and can't help but to stare at Sakura's direction.

"A-ah... I'm not sure..." After that everyone got quiet again as they turn their attention to their Commander. Their eyes met. And from this moment, Sakura knew that this is the signal to prepare herself.

"I, Erwin Smith, once again welcoming you to the scout regiment, I commend all of you who joined regardless of knowing the dangers that you will face in the future. So tonight, we are expressing our deepest gratitude to all of you with this tiny feast. We hope that this will make you feel more courage to help the humanity." When the word 'feast' reached their ears, everyone shouted with joy.

Then not a moment later, another batch of soldiers came from the kitchen carrying a trolly with their foods, making their eyes water. They thought that it is the time to eat but a girl with the same uniform as them stepped up, getting their attention. "Please let us all hold the hands from the person beside us..." Everyone is confused by the sudden prayer. Mainly because they didn't do any prayers at all, except the church people or 'Wallists' as they called it.

Perhaps... their Commander decided to join the church people?

Pushing those thoughts aside, they oblige, feeling uncomfortable especially to those who have sweaty hands. The horror.

"Now let's close our eyes and take a deep breath..." Then she started her prayer. The girl speaks way too smooth, enough to make them believe that she really is a religious person, when that truth is, she's just being ordered to do this thing.

Sakura exhaled. She gathered most of her chakra and let it flow to the new recruits bodies especially to her 'targets'. Sweat started to roll down her forehead as her predictions turns out to be true. Her new chakra is draining more than she expected. However, she will not let it to go to waste as she concentrated more enough to make her brows furrowed more.

"O heavenly Walls... we thank you for protecting us..." Few minutes had passed much to everyone's irritation. Why does the prayer takes so long?! They're hungry!

A familiar feeling was once again making its existence that made her wonder. The feeling that she felt from Eren from the last time. The source of its energy is coming from all the places that she can't get the grasp on where it was coming from. Like... it is purposely misleading her to protect their identity.

[They're all gone...]

A certain scenario suddenly flashed through her mind that made her head ache from pain. She hissed, forcing herself to remain quiet and still as possible. She snapped her eyes open from shocked, causing her concentration to banished.

W-what the hell was that?!

It's dark... lots of trees... was what all she can recall.

A forest.

["I-- failed you all... I'm sorry. It's all my fault."]

The pain because worst but Sakura keep it hidden as she can still endure it. She felt the hands that she was holding loosen, so of course, she let go of it. Exhaling the air that she was holding in an attempt to lessen the pain.

"Haaaah...It's finally over..." A sigh was heard coming from Connie and everyone sigh in agreement, feeling like their energy has been drained.

"Hey... Is this normal in this regiment?" Ymir bluntly stated directly at Eren.

"Well... " When he didn't say anything, Ymir turned to look at Sakura hoping that she will answered in his stead. Keeping her head up as if nothing is happening, she shrugged.

"Raise all your drinks! And let the feast begin!" Erwin shouted, or more like a command, that cause the whole place to get wild. Sakura decided that she should take this as an opportunity to escape. Clearing her throat, Sakura slowly slid herself out of her chair, getting everyone's attention.

"Thanks for your time, I enjoyed it!" She stated with a smile, glancing at them who's already digging up their plate.

"Are you really leaving? You don't have to obey that short man..." Everyone sweat dropped hearing Mikasa's complaint.

She laughed. "Yeah, I'm sorry. Besides, my friend will be there with me anyway so don't worry and she will also bring me food." She winked and tapped her slumped shoulder. "See yah!" She shouted looking at Armin and Eren who also looked upset.

"Oh? It's Ragnar!" Sakura momentarily looked at Connie when he suddenly stood raising his hand.

[Will you forgive me?]

New wave of pain escalated in her brain which is more painful that the last two. Taking her back to them in panic, Sakura bumped into someone's hard chest straight off not even a second after turning away.

Out of embarrassment and the growing pain that she's feeling, she just muttered a sorry after lifting her head slightly to steal a quick glance to the blonde man. Assuming he is Reiner's brother that they were talking about. She proceed to walk-run to immediately get away from the people's eyes.

Not even noticing that she just passed her friends and her Commander's table where Hange and Levi are also sitting. Since her reason was that Levi is giving her an assignment, she might as well show that it's true so she's going back to Levi's office.

However, her steps became smaller and smaller the more she visualized that man's face. She stopped, taken aback as she thought for a moment. Is she mistaken?

With a blurry eyes, she turned around and attempted to look at the place where she had just left, but to no avail. All she can see was their backs and blurry faces.

[I have got nothing to protect anymore.]

She moaned in pain. This is not good... she must get out of here first before she collapse. Sakura turned and continue to walk the stairs with her hands on the walls balancing her body. Every steps feels like agony for her, but despite of that, she still made it to enter the room.

She slumped her body to the nearest sofa in the very corner of the room like her life is being taken away from her. She groaned.

[I'll be back. I promise.]

Her breathing became deeper as time goes by. Depite the pain, Sakura refuses to break from her consciousness. Putting her arm on her forehead, she stared at the ceiling. She definitely failed the plan. Instead getting the enemy, what she got was this unknown flashes of memories and she's still wondering if it was hers or from those kids earlier.

"Ahhh.." A sound escaped her lips when her another dose of nosebleed came. She took out a handkerchief from her jacket that she prepared in case this happens then put it on her nose with a shaky hands. Sakura spaced out, and the man named Ragnar once again crossed her mind.

Somehow, he looked just like...

[Goodbye...]

Sakura can't suppressed it anymore. Her pupils spontaneously dropped from mixed exhaustion and pain. Goodbye was the last thing that she heard before her body finally gave out. Her head fall heavily to the soft furniture as her world goes black.

[Sakura.]
