I walk into Escala perplexed by the quietness of the apartment. When Ana, Kate and Mia get together, you can hear all three of them from wherever you are in the apartment, but I suppose with Ana on vocal rest, the apartment will become more quiet whenever the three of them hang out now. I growl in anger at the thought of Ana speechless for so long thanks to my ex submissive.

I walk to the kitchen but don't find the three girls. "Girls?" I call out as I start jogging around the large apartment for the girls.

I stop at the library near my study. I hear the tv on. That's where they've been hiding all day I think to myself, opening the door. I can't help the 'aww' that escapes me when I duck my head around the door. Curled up in a ball surrounded by blankets and pillows are Mia and Kate curled up on either side of Ana, keeping her safe. I can't help but snap a picture of them to send to my parents and brother.

Mom, Dad, Elliot: Look what I've just walked into. How cute?!

Their replies are instantaneous.

Mom: That is so adorable.

Dad: That's very cute.

Elliot: Future blackmail in case any of them do anything to me. (Super adorable)

I chuckle at Elliots reply. Of course he'd make something so sweet into something hilarious without probably even trying.

I leave the library and go to my study to finish some loose ends at work. I've just finished work when I get an email from Ros. Oh joy. Notice the sarcasm?

Subject: Trouble in London

From: Ros Bailey

Dear Mr Grey,

I understand that your girlfriend has just been through a terrible ordeal and is currently on vocal rest but we've got trouble in London with The Beauty Rose corporation.

They're asking for you to go to London to help out but with your girlfriend, they'll understand if you can't go. I'm more that comfortable going, although they did say that they're more than happy for her to come along with us. I'm sure a mini vacation is what she needs.

I reread Ros's email. The Beauty Rose is a beautiful little store that I took under about five years ago and it was doing really well until now. I know Ros is more than capable of handling this situation on her own but her mentioning that they'll let Ana come with me should I choose to come, has me leaning toward the idea of going, even if for a day or two. It'd do Ana a load of good getting out of Seattle, out of the country for a little bit. Hmm, I'll have to ask Ana when she wakes up.

I'm positive that Ana will love to see London.

I get up and go to the kitchen where Ana, Mia and Kate are. When did they wake up? Ana is in my arms immediately, holding me close. I chuckle. "I take it someone missed me today?" I tease smirking at her. Ana nods her head vigorously."Ana, how would you feel about coming to London with me and Ros?" I blurt out. Ana's eyes go wide and her mouth hangs open. She is speechless, literally speechless.

"Ana?" I say after a few minutes of not getting an answer. Mia hands her her phone and Ana types something before showing me.

Hold on, London London? As in Pride and Prejudice London? But wait, won't it be for work? I'll just be in the way but I'd like some time away from Seattle and quality time with you without Leila.

I growl. "Technically, yes, it is for work but the store owner has invited you to come, they know what you're going through right now and have figured that a mini vacation is exactly what you need. And you won't be in the way. I also want some quality time with you without the bitch hovering over us like a black fucking storm cloud!" I exclaim. Mia and Kate giggle at my rambling. Ana is also sporting a smile. She nods.

Yes, a getaway from all this and these two would be AMAZING! She types. Mia and Kate mock frown at her after reading the text. "Thanks, Ana. I feel loved." Kate teases, nudging Ana a little bit. I bite my cheek.

"I love my girls." I say to two giggling girls and one smiling one.
