Naruto Uzumaki or some people called Naruto Namikaze has the life. He was 16 and second in command of the ANBU Black Ops for the 3rd hokage or any hokage. He had his own place along with money to buy food and clothes or anything he needed. He was happy with the life he has. He didn't want anything else, he was complete. Of course everything has an end, even Naruto's perfect life.

"Naruto I, the third hokage, is granting you the rank of jonin squad lea-" The 3rd was Interrupted by .

"WHAT!? I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THE ANBU TO BE SPECIALIZED JONIN!" Naruto exclaimed at the old hokage.

"Naruto! You are in the Anbu you should be able to control your feelings. Every Shinobi should know how." Hiruzen said back to Naruto in a firm voice. Naruto mumbled something under his breath, of course not going unnoticed by the third. He sighed to himself before starting to talk again. "As i was saying. You will be now ranked as a specialized jonin and you will be until further notice. Before I say who is on your new team, all of them are capable of great power. And very promising….You will lead team 7, the members of this team are Sakura Harun-" Yet again he got cut off by Naruto.

"WHAT! I thought you said 'ALL of them are CAPABLE and very PROMISING'. I'm sorry but the Haruno clan has none of that." Naruto said with his hand moving and shouted the three words that shouldn't be there.

"Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze! Silence!" The hokage yelled Naruto's full name. When that happens you should shut up and listen before getting killed. That's what Naruto did. After a pause the hokage begined to speak again. "Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sai Ena (yes i did give Sai an last name because i felt bad, the meaning of his name is 'gift from god' cuz we all know denzo would name his favorts this.) will be on your team." Hiruzen finally finished saying what he wanted to.

Naruto looked at the ground for a second to think better. 'Sai?'

"Umm Jij- sorry i mean Hokage-sama?" Hiruzen nodded for a sign to continue. "When you mean Sai Ena do you mean the Sai that is in Danzo's Anbu?" Naruto asked with a very confused look on his face. The hokage mentally facepalmed at the question.

"Sai isn't in Danzo's ANBU department. I took him out two years ago and put him in the academy. So no need to worry about him." Hiruzen said, ending it with a little smile.

"Oh well that's good to know. But what about the Uchiha?" Naruto spat the name like poison out of his mouth.

Hiruzen sighed again. "Naruto I know that the Uchiha clan was a part of the attack that killed your parents. But you know that the nine tails fox did the killing, not the Uchiha's." Hiruzen told Naruto with a serious face.

"Shunft udp" Naruto mumbled. "Yeah i know…" Naruto murmured while looking at the floor.

"Hah good, tomorrow you will meet up with your new team at the academy around 6:30. Don't be late. You may leave." Hiruzen said with a big smile on his wrinkly face.

"I'll try not to be. Bye jiji-sama" Naruto said, trying(key word trying) to sound respectful, he did his usual big smile and waved while closing the door after walking out.

-Naruto's Pov. Time: 2:40 PM.-

I let out a big sigh. "Arh!" I throw my orange book across my apartment into the kitchen. The book hit a couple of things like plates, some paperwork, pens, and an mug with cof-

"Shhitt" I said while running towards the falling mug of coffee. I caught it just in time before it hit the ground but that didn't stop the now cold coffee spelling over me and the wood floor. I hit the ground with a loud thud. "Owwww" I cried out in pain from hitting my head on the kitchen counter. I slowly got up and put the mug into the sink. I looked down at the floor. The coffee was starting to sink into the wood. I opened a cabinet and grabbed out paper towels.

After getting the coffee out of the wood I set down three new paper towels then a couple of old books on top of it, so it would dry better than sitting there with my hands on it. I quickly fixed everything that fell or broke from the book I threw.

I went into the bathroom to take a shower. I looked at myself in the mirror. "Aha, damn i got coffee all over my Anbu clothes." I grabbed the grey armer on my torso. It was staind. "Well it doesn't really matter because i have to wear new clothes other than this." I said to myself. I sighed for the hundredth time that day.

I took an every needed cold shower. I put on black cargo pants that are way too tight but whatever, black ninja shoes that don't have the holes for the toes, and a dark green long sleeved shirt to go with it. I swiftly snatched my wallet and keys from the counter and ran out the front door locking it behind me.

I got to the first clothing store I knew and went in. I opened the glass door saying my hellos. "Umm well you see I just got the rank of a specialized jonin and I need new clothes, ya know?" I asked the girl in front of me, with a happy smile. She had long brown hair that went to her as- butt and normal clothes for a citizen.

"Uh congratulations for the new rank, this way for your new clothes, sir." She said with her hands showing where to go.

I started walking right behind her, she led me to the back of the store. 'Its was a pretty small store so they aren't trying to kill or kidnap me.' I thought to myself. "Thank you, ma'am" I said back to her. '... I didn't even get her name, what an failure.' i thought to myself again. Before I could ask her for her name, we got to the ally I asked for and she said her goodbyes and left me.

"Mauh." I stuck out my tongue to no one. I stood up straight and looked over everything on the shelves.

-Still Naruto's Pov. Time: 3:49 PM.-

After standing in a clothing store for so long I don't even know if I want to step one foot in another or any store. I went to the cashier which was a guy, he had brown hair like the other person working here. I lifted all my clothes (which isn't that much, he is just being dramatic) onto the counter.

"Aha, sorry about this." I apologize with a small smile on my face.

He waved his hands in the air. "Oh it's all right." He said with a big smile, calming my nerves. I returned the smile. "What do you even need all this stuff for? You don't look like a ninja." He said with a confused look.

"Ahah, I got that alot. I just got promoted to squad leader. I liked beginning in the Anbu than a specialized jonin." I said with a huge smile splattered on my face. I didn't hear him answer back so I opened my eyes. 'Oh this crap again.' i thought.

"You're in th-the ANBU?" He asked while stuttering. I dropped my smile and eyed him.

"Look, I know that a lot of people don't like the ANBU but they keep you safe, and didn't i just say that I am now a jonin not a ANBU member, ya'know?" I said looking into his purple eyes.

"Y-yeah sorry. I shouldn't judge people by that. Sorry again." He gloomily said.

"It's all right! I'm Naruto Uzumaki, You?" I asked while he checked everything I put on the counter.

"I'm Koi Daisuke." Koi said with a content smile resting on his tan face.

-3rd pov. Time: 4:12 PM.-

Naruto and Koi talked for a while, both of them enjoying the company. But after Koi finished bagging the clothes and checking the price more than two times and naruto paid, they had to say their goodbyes. Naruto wanted to go back home and sleep because he was so tired of talking. But he had to go to the weapon's store to get some things.

Naruto walked into the store making a bell ring that was right above him. A girl with two side buns walked in. She was already smiling but when she saw Naruto her smile got bigger somehow, but this didn't bother him so he smiled back at her.

"Hi I'm Tenten, what do you need mister?" Tenten asked Naruto.

"Hi i'm Naruto, I mostly need a Jonin vest and some other things too." Naruto exclaimed, still smiling big.

"Umm… do you have a ID to tell me that you're a real Jonin not someone who wants a vest." Tenten blurted out trying not to sound rude to Naruto. Naruto blinked a couple of times before laughing.

"Ahaha. It's really no big deal, you don't need to be shy or embarrassed by asking something like that." Naruto laughed out, making Tenten smile. "I do think I have an ID." Naruto said, but it sounded like he was asking himself if he had an ID or not. Naruto went through his pockets until he suddenly stopped, which made Tenten very confused. "Damn it, the one time i had to spill coffee on myself, now i dont have my ANBU pants." Naruto said to himself but Tenten overheard him.

"Wait, you're in the ANBU, you look so young?" Tenten asked, weirdly excited. Naruto stared at her for a minute.

"Well I was in the ANBU but J-Hokage-sama changed my position to jonin squad leader." Naruto responded. "Also I'm 16, almost 17. So i don't think i am that young, ya'know?" Naruto said with a chuckle and pout.

"Really?! You're only 16 and is a squad leader! How?!" Tenten asked, it was more like begging than asking.

"HAHHA, I don't know and even if i did i wouldn't tell anyone, you need to find that answer by yourself." Naruto laughed at how Tenten was so good at complimenting other people without knowing she was doing it.

After more talking between whose two, Naruto actually started shopping rather than talking. He got everything he needed and said his goodbyes to Tenten. He went back home without running into or talking to anyone.

-Little skip.-

Naruto got home and went inside sighing deeply. He sat everything down on the counters and closed the door and took off his shoes. He got everything out of the bags and put them away in the right spots in the apartment as well as throwing the bags in the rubbish bin. He flopped onto his soft couch and sighed as he recalled the conversation he had with Tenten.

-Flash back at the Weapon's store. Naruto's Pov. Time:unknow-

"So I can't get a vest here?" I asked Tenten tilting my head to its side.

"Yeah I can't, even if i trust you that you are a jonin, i don't know for sure because you don't have an ID." Tenten said, sighing.

-Back at Naruto's apartment / house. Time: 5:10 PM Naruto's POV.-

I sighed one more time just to annoy myself. "Uhhhhhhhhh, i'm so tired. I'm so used to not talking to people and now I just spent one..two.(yes he used his fingers to count) Two hours talking to people and here I am talking to myself. And now I have to go to jiji's and ask for a vest." I whined to myself. I gradually got myself up and went to the door putting on my shoes. I stood up and opened the green door as well as closing it.

I walked all the way there, the cold of the night was slowly waking me up. As I got to the stairs the ANBU guards stopped me from going up. I sighed again.

"Who are you?" The first guard hissed.

"What business do you have with the Hokage?" The second guard commanded.

"Now now, is that the way you greet your favorite senpai?" I exhorted with a large smirk on my whiskered face.

"What?" The first guard said, giving me a questioning look.

"I asked you a question!" The second guard threatened.

"Fine… cough cough" I fake coughed with my hand in a fits In front of my mouth. "Hi, it's me Orenji-senpai, ya'know?" I laughed while scratching the back of my neck.

"Orenji...?" They both said at the same time.

"Yup now." Before they could do anything I quickly placed a sleeping genjutsu on them both. (BTW They are not in pain) They fell onto the cement ground and lad limp. "Sorry Kaeru, sorry Ōtaka." I whispered as I turned to walk up the stairs to the Hokage's Office.
