Arnold and Helga will not get along for awhile, so don't get your hopes up!

CHAPTER 2:

After a long, proud day of relentless bullying, harassment and stalking, Helga finally made her way home and was met by her parents standing infront of her, with Olga wailing on the sofa.

Helga paused and immediately went on the defensive, "I didn't do it! It was Olga, I saw her do it!"

Bob sighed at her daughter's reaction, "Olga, nothin' happened."

"Oh, phew! Now that's a relief-"

"We've just gone broke, that's all."

"WHAT?!"

Bob flinched at the now distraught, shaking Helga's roar, "C-calm down, Olga! T-this is just momentary! The Patakis never go down without a fight!" he said proudly, making Helga roll her eyes, "Yeah, sure. So, what will we do? Where will we sleep?"

Miriam smiled, "Well honey, there's a nice little boarding home that should do good for the moment, what do you think, Bob?"

"O-oh what? Yeah, whatever? Are you cool with that, Olga?"

He raised an eyebrow, "Olga?" he repeated, before looking down at the fainted, lovesick Helga, "I won't even ask."

Meanwhile, as the Patakis packed up and made their way to the boarding home, Arnold was laying on his bed in deep thought.

'Why does she hate me so much?' he thought, rubbing his chin curiously, 'What have I ever done to deserve this?'

He then had a thought, maybe he just wasn't nice enough! Yeah, that's it!

A knock on his door broke his thought process as he went to open it, revealing his Grandpa, "Hey, Shortman! Come down to greet the new boarders!"

Arnold smiled, "New boarders?! Oh boy!"

He ran down the stairs like a kid on Christmas. It was about time new people showed up here! Maybe they were astronauts, maybe they were baseball players! He smiled at the thought.

But as he made his way at the bottom of the staircase, his smile vanished. His body froze.

"Hey, Football head!"

And just like that, Arnold blacked out.
