Jonothor Darry PoV

Ser Kevan sadly proved himself to be as unwilling to heed the King's command as his older brother did. The younger Lannister siblings were even less honorable to speak of, this young Ser Tygett with his uncouth manners and his undisguised bloodthirstiness was openly dismissive but the sister might even be worse in her lurking ways. Jonothor scoffed, Women should not be allowed to speak among Men and yet both her brothers had let her speak freely to him, Jonothor and to young Connington and in a way that showed all to clear her unwomanly manners.

The Kingsguard sighed deeply after his angry thoughts about the Lions and his mind drifted to the young Connington, now Ser Jon. Jonothor had knighted him on behalf of the young King but the new Knight was still lacking many of the needed qualities that a true Knight should have, at least in Jonothor's mind. The white Knight remembered how the younger man behaved when they both had been taken captive by Tygett Lannister just a day ago and been brought into these secured "guest chambers".

Jon Connington had snarled and uttered curses and behaved altogether more like a half-grown boy in a tantrum than as a Knight in a dangerous mission for his King. No patience, no self-
restraint, no understanding to wait for any weaknesses in their opponents behavior.

Jonothor frowned slightly as he remembered how the blustering behavior of the young Ser Jon had amused the Lions and their Guards, how a few Guards had even laughed and Ser Tygett had snarled that if all friends of Rhaegar Targaryen would speak with such a mouth as the young Connington , the rule of the newest King would be a short and troubled one.

The Kingsguard Knight reminded himself that he would have to tell the King that his dear friend was not only too uncontrollable to be taken seriously but also that the young man's behavior also reflected badly back on the King himself as his friend.

Well, thought Ser Jonothor to himself, they would have to be able to escape the Lions at first, of course. The white Knight sighed tiredly but he also was not entirely dissatisfied with the current situation. At least the young Connington was in a different room and he, Jonothor himself had the first really quiet night for himself, the first since he was sent with Ser Jon to Casterly Rock.

He decided to use this restful night and then would see how to fulfill his Kings will the next day or if the Lions would still not see reason, he would do his best to escape and to warn his King.
But this night was really welcomed, finally for once he was freed from the annoying Griffin.

Genna PoV

She thought about the Knights, both in rooms far apart from each other. Their men, their hundred of Goldcloak guards had already been brought to the old cells deep down in the Old Labyrinth of the older tunnels, impossible to leave them if their own, even if they should manage to escape the Cells themselves.

She thought about Tygetts smirk when he came back up to them, her and Kevan in the Grand Solar, when he told them that a few of the Goldcloaks had asked him if there was still Gold to find in the tunnels. As if any Lannister worth his name would take an enemy to the tunnels of Gold.

No, when they were taken into where the oldest and most dangerous parts of the huge underground tunnelssystem and these parts were nearly to the opposite way of their goldmines.

Let the King's men search without lights, all the sooner they would exhaust themselves.
Genna smirked, Kevan could be nearly as vicious as Tywin if the need arises.

She looked to her niece then, Tywin's already beautiful and all too self-assured little daughter and sighed. Cersei had found out from someone that the King had sent a couple of Knights for her to be escorted to her father and to King's Landing and the King himself and was now absolutely of the opinion that she should be allowed to go there.

At least Jaimie wasn't so interested in leaving as his sister was but since Cersei had always managed to make her Twin agree with her ideas in the end, Genna thought to herself that it was really only too necessary to make sure that the King's men were kept far away from her little niece.

And she thought to herself that she really would need to find out which of their servants was terrified enough by the eight years old menace to tell secrets that no children needed to know.

...

Cersei PoV

It was simply not fair by her Uncles and her Aunt to try to hinder her future happiness. She was meant to be of higher standing than all others here, she was the daughter of the Lord of House Lannister and so she was more important than the siblings of her father. She was her father's oldest child after all, his golden daughter a maybe, no not maybe, but most likely the future Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

She remembered the words of the letter that the new King had sent quite well and she was more than just sure that he hinted his interest in her.

The young Lioness knew her worth after all and she knew even at her young age of eight namedays that she was the most noble Girl in all of Westeros and that the young new King clearly wanted to make sure that she, his future bride was already close to him when they would marry in a couple of years.

And Uncle Kevan and Aunt Genna had spoiled it all. How could they do this to her? And Uncle Tygett even helped them. Cersei was enraged for she always had thought that at least her younger Uncles Tygett and Gerion were knowing her worth. Not that Uncle Gerion could help her now, seeing that he was with father in King's Landing as he had written in his letter.

But all three others who were here in Casterly Rock now tried to ruin her dreams, her future and her happiness.

Cersei felt her anger ever more rising, as it had been since she had read Uncle Gerions letter and the King's letter a couple of days ago, brought to her by the ugly fat cow that was her Septa. Cersei thought back of how she had asked Uncle Kevan a day later when she and Jaime would get their entourage and then would do their journey to King's Landing and how then not only Uncle Kevan but also Aunt Genna had told her that neither she nor Jaime would be going to the Capitol.

And her twin was even happy about. Cersei had always known that she was the smart one and Jaime needed her to see what should be done and what not but she had never thought of her sweet but dumb brother as so idiotic before this. He was really happy that they both had been forbidden to join their father and the King. Jaime had only said that he would like to see Uncle Gerion again but that he still would rather wait till their Uncle would come back to Casterly than that he, Jaime would like to go to King's Landing.

Cersei had seen her brother even looking relieved after Uncle Kevan told them both that they would stay on the Rock. And now, now the emissaries which the King had sent were even imprisoned, the envoy that Rhaegar Targaryen had sent to bring her, Cersei his future Queen to him, was imprisoned and she was forbidden to even try to speak with them. And Jaime, haahh her sweet but easily manipulated brother was relieved and happy that they both were staying here.

He had told her that Uncle Kevan and Aunt Genna and Uncle Tygett surely had their reasons for how they handled all this and for keeping them both here. Jaime even dared to tell her that she, Cersei Lannister, the daughter of Lord Tywin should follow all the words of her Uncles and Aunt like he was doing. Cersei scoffed, she might be still to young now but she knew her worth, yes she knew that she was better than the lesser siblings of her father. She knew that there were only two men that were really important in these lands and they were her father and the King. And she would only listen to the words of these two men and all other were beneath her, even her sweet but stupid twin. He was her mirror on the outside but she was the one that had gotten the brain from their father and Jaime had not, he was only pretty and good with swords, even at his young age.

And tomorrow she would make Jaime understand that they both needed to go to King's Landing and to father and to the new King and that for this to come to pass, the emissaries of the King needed to be freed.

Cersei nodded to herself and thought about how Jaime would first protest but how he then would give in and agree with her as he always did in the end. Yes, tomorrow she would show her overbearing Uncle and irritating Aunt that she was her father's daughter and that she would take her future into her own hands.

The next early morning started with Cersei and Jaime ordering the Guards away and then opening the locked doors to Ser Jon Conningtons and Ser Jonothor Darry's 'guest quarters' and then the morning ended when around the midday hours a loudly sobbing Septa, a mulish Cersei and an clearly uncomfortable Jaime were all being confined in rooms far away from each other.

During the the five hours in between though, quite a few people died or were hurt and some of them were now becoming a bit of an unneeded complication for the Lannister siblings in charge.

Though it must be said that at least Lady Genna seemed astoundingly jovial even though she lost her husband in the five hours of near Chaos.

Genna PoV

Hmm, Genna thought to herself, at least this morning brought two happy surprises forward. Well, rather one surprise and one happy occasion. Though she thought that she should really force herself to look a bit less cheerful right now. The overall Situation was really earnest and unfortunately even more uncomfortable than before now after all, even though her own personal Situation became quite a bit more enjoyable during the last few hours, with her husband being killed and her becoming a widow.

But really, the overall Situation for her family, for her siblings and their House was not something that any of them wished for.

At least they knew now that the Septa in the household was the one who was so intimidated by little Cersei that she even had smuggled the letters of Gerion and of King Rhaegar to the girl and let her read them before she, the Septa smuggled them back into the Solar. What a surprise really, who would have ever thought that a simple Septa would have such talents of secrecy after all.

Well thought Genna to herself, it was a real relief that they, her brothers and her now knew who was giving Cersei informations that the child really shouldn't have known and that this Septa was really so stupid after all or intimidated by Tywin's girl after all, or maybe even both, who knows, that she was then doing her best to free the Gold cloaked Guards which Rhaegar Targaryen had sent with his two knights.

Tygett had not been happy that the Household Guards of Casterly Rock had actually let a Septa through to the tunnel cells in which the King's men had been kept. Neither Tygett nor Kevan had been impressed by the Guards on duty and their stupidity in letting anyone visiting prisoners without a sayso from a Lannister.

Genna had heard Tygett's angry growling answer to the Guardsmen stuttering explanations.

...flashback..
"So you tell me, that you let the Septa through and even showed her the Cells just because you thought that the prisoners might like to hear her reading to them from the Seven pointed Star. Damn you man, are you a bloody Septon or what?
They are prisoners, nobody should have been able to go to them without me or my siblings saying so. And no, not even a Septa or a Septon had been allowed to visited the prisoners.

You and your fellow surviving idiots here will be staying here in the Cells yourself for a while till I loose the urge to throw you all from the highest point of the Rock for your stupidity and if you all are so religious inclined that a simple Septa's word managed to sway you from your duty, then I am more than happy to let you all become Septons.

Maybe you five are then more useful than as Guards. I'm sure these eleven fellow guards that were killed by the prisoners would agree with me."
...end flashback...

Yes the Septa, really an interesting woman that one. Genna scoffed. On the one side, this Septa was afraid of Cersei and on the other side this religious mouse was actually bold enough to somehow free the imprisoned Goldcloaks.

Genna thoughts then went from the more unimportant persons to the ones who really mattered. Her niece and her nephew and the two Knights of the King who were freed by them.

The newly widowed Lady had always known that her little niece was a prideful creature, one that had always hated to hear the word 'no' and Lady Genna had also known that Jaime was without resistance against his twins wishes but neither she, Genna nor her brothers would have ever thought that Cersei would be so dismissive of all commands and would actually free two imprisoned Knights and that she would also really tug her brother into this mess that she created with such a behavior.

The only good thing that happened, thought Genna to herself, was that Ser Jonothor had killed Emmon and that had only happened because her stupid husband had been ever to slow to get out of the way when the Kingsguard had tried to escape through the eastern hallways. Well Emmon had ever been a slow man and she would surely not miss him.

That Tygett had then been forced to kill the stubborn Kingsguard had been a way greater drama and that Ser Jon Connington had been hurt quite badly by Kevan was also really unfortunate. Hopefully the young fool would survive the loss of his arm by Kevan's sword.

The young Griffin was said to be one of the best friends of the new King after all and that could still become handy. If the young Knight would survive his wounds of course.

Genna forced herself to stop her musings and turned her head to where her older brother sat.
Kevan looked tired and hurt but also irritated and angry. That was good, for that meant that he would now be even sharper and more careful in the future and Genna knew that she herself would be the same. And Tygett would comb through all the Household Guards to make sure that all weak points would be cleared in the future.

House Lannister would have to sharpen their claws earlier than they all wanted and that was mainly the fault of Tywin's cubs. Genna thought once more about the twins and she knew that Kevan was also wondering what they should do with them besides making sure that they were separated and secured far away from each other.

Food for thoughts for another time, first they would have to make sure that all hundred GoldCloaks were really dead or back and imprisoned and they were still searching for two of them.

Damn Cersei and her idiotic Septa.
