Thalia

My heart slowed down as the boy withdrew his sword. Perhaps he wasn't here to kill us. Was it relief I was feeling or dismay? I'm going to go with relief. It had to be relief, otherwise...I don't wish to think about it. Dwelling on the darkness does no good for anyone.

The boat slowly approached the shore, anchoring itself just past the rocky beach where the waves crashed down upon the sand. Two boys and two girls landed in the water. If it wasn't for my spinning vision, I may had been able to recognise them from this distance. Alas everything was blurring around me. I knew I was moments from collapsing to the ground, but I had to keep going. For the hunt. They may have withdrawn their weapons, but that did not mean they were friendly.

One of the boys slowly approached us from the shallow water. I picked up the strength I needed and moved my body towards him. He was tall and muscular, dark hair. As I got closer his features started to become more apparent. His skin was tanned, his body scared, his eyes sea green. Oh my god.

A smile came to my face, or at least my attempt of one as I stumbled into his arms. Percy wrapped an arm around me unsure of what was going on. I rarely hug him, but right now my happiness was like nothing I had ever felt before. He came back for us. He saved us.

"Thalia," Percy whispered to me, pushing me out of his arms so that he could see my bleeding muddy face "What happened to you?"

I tried to reply but all that came out was a dry croak from the back of my throat. I swallow some saliva to try and help my vocal cords that were burning. "Its...a long story," I managed to say. Short sentences, that is a good start. "Have any food?" I asked as my stomach ached. His head suddenly turned, his eyes looking behind me.

I slowly turned my head to see what he was looking at. Another one of my hunters had fallen to the ground, their malnourished legs were unable to support their weight any longer. One of the girls with bright red hair rushed towards them. I faintly recognised her, but my scrambled brain couldn't place a name to the face.

"Let's get you guys some food and clean you up," Percy said. His arm wrapped around me, offering me support as I stumbled towards their boat. Nowhere near as big as the Argo Two, but still large enough to hold us all. At least what was left of us.

Percy pulled each of us up onto the boat along with the other boy while the girls helped them walk to it. None of us had any strength left. The girl that had collapsed was now dead. Her last breath was as she was lying on the vessel's couch. We could not wake her to eat something, she had died like the others. Tired, hungry, and alone.

I could not cry for her; my body would not use the effort to do that simple task. It was like living in an empty, unresponsive shell.

We left her body overboard, Percy carried her down and placed her on the ground. It was Lillian I think, she had been with the hunt for a while now...maybe 40 years. It did not matter now, I guess. She could have the luxurious life that Elysium offered her. No more pain, I envied her.

The other blonde girl was preparing some food for us, they had already given each of us some cool water that slid down our throats with a large welcome. The boat had started to move. We were finally getting what our bodies needed after weeks of captivity and walking around aimlessly through the woods.

Finally, we were saved. Percy came back to save us, something I didn't think he would do. I knew he could do it. I knew he could pull himself out of the darkness that was suffocating him. He gave me another chance at life because of it. I wasn't going to waste this second chance. I am planning on getting some revenge for all the hunters that I had to watch die helplessly.

I clung onto the white beast beneath me with fear I had never felt before. The wind threatened to throw me to the ground with every beat of the pegasi's wings. This was so different from flying on a broomstick. Even though I had been on a dragon that one time, at least the dragon had more back space. I was a centimetre from falling off this pegasi and it was not comforting at all.

"This is it," I said staring out towards the cottage by the sea. We land the pegasi and I nearly fall off from the impact of the ground. The momentum throwing my body forward while the pegasi beneath me stopped moving.

As a group we walked towards the cottage, looking around for any signs that it had been invaded by death eaters. If they had already got here...I don't no what we would do. My sandy shoes stopped in front of the entrance to the house.

I take a deep breath and knock on the cottage door. A few moments later it opened, and my brother pulled me into hug.
