Eren fulfilled his vow to exterminate the Titans and freed his people of Paradis, who lived in a caged world by three enormous walls that supposedly "protected" them from the man-eating humanoids. It was the only way to break the Curse of Ymir. However, 25 years on, unexpected events take place. The Curse returns, the Walls stand tall and the Titans have returned once more.

The six weeks are up, the training has ended as Carla sends Aimi, Milo and Eleanor outside the walls. Their first and will be their last expedition due to reality creeping up on Aimi when she realises fear is her greatest weakest as the cruelty of the world strikes cold. But Carla teaches Aimi something important that once she hears it, the Ackerman never forgets it. But after being separated for so long, the three and Carla reunite with Commander Hunter Rin along with Kai, Emet and their new ally to be friend Kuklo Mansel. As for Kai, he is still undergoing his own mission as he aims to prove three paradoxes that are yet to occur in the future. 1) Eldians can become man-eating Titans. 2) Locate a familiar yet peculiar Chapel, potentially as well revealing the true ruler of Paradis. Then the last mystery to expose which is later revealed in this journey in order to gain Hunter's full trust to help Kai and his friends is 3); To go outside and beyond the walls to expose the real truth. Where beyond the walls, beyond the titans and beyond Paradis... Humanity exists. Even so, is that a goal Kai really wants to prove? Will finding humanity outside the walls will be a good thing? Especially when mankind already finds the 'supposed survivors' of humanity inside the walls of Paradis and hits first with a grievous blow, potentially ending Eldians in one great catastrophe.
