Ink from even more from the future-Uhh hello to all on , this is the last one of the prewritten ones, so now I will be sticking to my normal 10 days update schedule.

Ink- Hello all! I'm 90% sure that you guys will like this chapter. So enjoy!

Uhh hi, it's future ink, the chapter got worse so I don't think you guys would like it. Sorry for not putting in my best work. More info at the end.

Scenario- to be honest, I haven't read it yet but I know it's gonna be an awesome chapter

I wake up groggily, wiping my eyes. At my bedside, Phoebe is writing something down on a piece of paper. She turns to me, startled, not realizing I'm already awake.

"Hey Pheobe," I say casually. She turns to another hunter.

"Officer! Go alert Zoe, and tell her to contact milady before she eradicates every monster within a 100 vicinity." She orders the hunter to guard the entrance of the medical tent. She must have been bored because she seems to be elated to be doing something else than guarding a tent for an injured young boy. Pheobe leans in towards me.

"Sup Percy, Zoe has been insanely worried about you." I give her a look.

"Really?" I mean Zoe is protective at times but "insanely worried"? Hmm.

"Really," Phoebe confirms, "She was here all day and night. She is going to be furious because she wanted to be here when you woke up and not 'the one time I wasn't here, Percy woke up'."

I gulp. A furious Zoe is not a Zoe you should face.

"No offense, but then why are you here?" I ask her.

"None was taken," She dismisses, "I'm your doctor for now since I'm the best healer in the hunt."

I nod and try to get up. I place my arms down on the bed and they already start to wobble. 'Woah, maybe we shouldn't get up yet. Let's instead try a simpler action and sit up.'

I once again place my hands and push. I manage to sit up before Pheobe notices, but then she does.

"Percy! You have a stomach injury I wouldn't-" Pheobe starts and as if on cue, my stomach feels like a colony of bullet ants simultaneously bit my gut.

"Oh wow, how'd I get a stomach injury?"

Phoebe grabs the clipboard and reads off it. "You got a blow from the Minotaur's horn in your gut. My guess for the reason you didn't feel it is simply because of adrenaline." Before I can respond to her, the curtain-like entrance sways wide open to reveal a tired and panicking figure. It's Zoe.

"Hi, Zoe! Be careful, Percy is still recovering," Phoebe greets her. Zoe ignores her and rushes over to me. I try to speak but she crushes me in a tight hug. My ribs are also on fire, but I keep quiet for the sake of not scaring Zoe. I notice Pheobe leaves shortly after Zoe comes in. Now it is just Zoe and me. I swear I can hear Zoe sniffling as her head is deep within my shoulder.

After 4 minutes with Zoe, my body starts to hurt again.

"Zoe, I'm sorry for scaring you," I finally say. I gently lift her head and she suddenly accelerates sharply.

"You are such a dumbass! What were you thinking about trying to kill the Minotaur!" By this time she is full-on yelling at me. "...the last person who killed that thing was that ignorant son of Athena, Theseus!"

Hold on. Did she say Theseus? Like 'the' Theseus?

"Zoe, you are yelling," I say quietly, silently hoping Zoe will calm down. Zoe stiffly turns around.

"Sorry, it's just I almost lost you like— like," She says in between hiccups.

"Yes, I know." I've yet to know who her sibling is, or maybe was, but I don't want to pressure her into it so I'll wait.

"You know your mother is going to be furious, right?" She says to me while letting me go. I slide over to the left side of the bed and pat to my right. Zoe maneuvers up next to me and hooks her arm around me protectively.

"And you aren't angry at me?" I ask uncertainly.

"Oh no, I'm raging," She says gleefully, then her tone changes, "Why would you join the fight after only one week of training?" There is an edge to her voice.

"I've trained with an Olympian God. I was and am fine," I argue.

"Last time I checked, you are the one with the stomach injury, not me," She counters, fiercely.

"What was I supposed to do, let it destroy the camp?" My mind wanders back to when I was fighting Captain Beef Boy. The main reason I fought him is that he destroyed Zoe and I's tent.

Suddenly panic surges through my chest. My heart rate increases and my posture goes rigid. Zoe notices my recent changes and she starts to quickly become concerned.

"What is it, Percy? Are you hurting? Do you want me to bring back Pheobe?" She stresses without any hostility. I try to ignore her and the rapid thumping in me.

"How long was I out?" Zoe is startled by my question as to why I would say it now.

"About 23 hours, we thought it would be best if you slept through breakfast, lunch, and dinner." I can't believe it. I've slept through food!

"How's our tent," I say in a rushed and urgent manner. Zoe waves it off.

"That doesn't matter right now. I came directly here and stayed with you, idiot. It's fine, we'll get you new stuff."

"The tents do matter!" I shout wildly. Zoe stares at me, startled and confused. To be fair, I did sound pretty strange. But at this point, I don't care.

"Perce, calm down. I don't know how our tents are." At her words, I place my hand on the bed and fly. Not literally of course. Ignoring Zoe's shouting and the immense pain in my chest, I slide off the bed. Once off, I hobble out the entrance.

The sun is oddly bright as if violently telling me to stay inside and don't come out. The hunters are setting up tables for most likely, lunch. They don't notice me at first which I take as a good thing because they can't bother me. I continue to hobble to the half-destroyed lieutenant tent.

It's wrecked.

"No, no, no, no, NO!" I start saying to myself as I search through the rubble. While I sift, I keep my eyes peeled for any blue or purple. Under my dresser, I focus on an odd blue color which contrasts greatly in the gray and brown disaster. It seems to be a piece of paper-like quality.

My heart once again raises. 'Maybe it didn't get burned after all!'

I try to pull it out gently and not rip it. As I yank, I hear Zoe faintly in the back cursing. I realize how weak my current state is because I can barely pull the stupid photo under the dresser. I try to pull and tug it out with my strength depleting. While I do this, I'm once again making a conscious effort not to pull too hard so the photo won't tear.

Gradually, the photo eases out and into my hands. Once the picture is in my hand I get a low feeling. I flip the photo around revealing a half-charred picture of me. Not mom holding me. Just a picture of me in Montauk smiling.

Tears start rolling down my eyes.

"It's gone. She's gone," I cry to myself. My bandage on my stomach begins to fall apart as I fall to the ground sobbing. At the moment, everything hurts. Memories flash in my mind, like the way I still remember the way she hugged me and kissed my forehead right before she went to work. I still remember her bringing a bag full of candy after coming home for me. I still remember her finding out that Gabe hit me. I still remember the way she died.

I still remember her.

Crying made me feel a bit better, like cleaning a window, except the window is shattered. Two voices emerge above me.

"Dam Percy, you move fast for a person with a gashing wound,' Zoe observes. I look up and Zoe and Artemis are gazing at me.

I don't say anything, just tackle Artemis in a hug. I can't bring myself to call her mom. They both drag me to the Head Tent so we get a bit of privacy. I'm surprised the hunters didn't see me collapse, or maybe they did and they just didn't care.

As we enter the tent, I'm still clinging to the Olympian. It's weird, I keep forgetting that she...ah right...is a super important goddess.

"Percy, what is it dear?" Artemis says gently. I can tell she is worried because her hand is shaking when she rubs my arm.

My hand still held the stupid photo. I glare at the nearest campfire in hatred. Why did there have to be a dumb fire pit there?

"Perce, you ok?" Zoe says, coming to my side. I don't respond to her, I just hand her the half-burned photo from 3 years ago.

My anger switched targets to the Minotaur. All I want to do is stab the Minotaur repeatedly in the face, so it feels the pain that I do right now.

Zoe grasps the picture and holds it up for her and Artemis to see. The goddess of the moon gasps when she sees the picture.

"Oh, Percy, my baby boy," She says sympathetically. She wraps me into a warm hug.

"What is it, milady?" Zoe asks. Artemis turns to me asking for permission.

"You can tell her Artemis," I finally say. The second I finish the sentence, a flash of hurt and confusion appears on Artemis's face. Zoe's face also changes to confusion, but I ignore it.

"This picture was from 3 years ago," She explains, "When Percy and his mom were on vacation. I was still in contact with Sally at this point. Come to think of it, it's the last time I ever spoke to Sally. She was telling me about her trip to Montauk where she met her lover. I never knew Percy because she never mentioned him to me or else I would have intervened." In the end, she sounded hurt that my...mom didn't confide in her about me.

"Can you fix it, Artemis?" I ask her. She meets my eyes and gazes sadly.

"I'm sorry but I can't-"

"What do you mean you can't! You are an Olympian Goddess! You can control the lunar cycle but not fix a dumb photo?!" I rant bitterly. Zoe flashes a warning glare.

"Watch your mouth Percy," She warns. I'm about to go off on Zoe but Artemis raises her hands.

"It is fine Zoe and relaxes Percy. It is 'not' a dumb photo. I'm truly sorry I can't do anything and as your mother and Olympian goddess I'll help you to the physical limitations of my power." Her words affect me. They make me less aggressive and calm me down. Then I'm reminded of my mom getting killed.

"Please," I plead, "I'll do anything," Mom says nothing and pulls me into another hug. I sag and look and Zoe desperately

"Percy, let's get your mind off of things, alright? Milady, I think it's time to heal him." Zoe says. Mom nods and she hovers her hand above my wound.

"Wait, if you are going to heal me; why didn't you just do that at the beginning?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow.

Zoe shrugs while Artemis answers, "It's because to heal you, you needed to be awake and you were asleep for quite a while." I nod and the process begins.

Plot twist, there's not much of a process.

Only Mom concentrating and a warm golden glow swarming my wound. My left side gradually begins to feel a whole lot better.

"I didn't know you could heal." Mom smiles at us.

"I'm the twin sister, it's in my blood." She grins.

"Can we have lunch," Zoe complains. Mom nods and gestures to me. Mmm lunch. Lunch does sound good right now. On cue, my stomach growls.

"Yeah, let's eat lunch," Zoe says, giving a grin, indicating she heard my stomach rumble. I hear scuffing outside of the tent.

"A-are the hunters eating lunch?"

Zoe looks at me funnily, "Uh yeah? Why wouldn't they be?"

"No reason," I quickly rushed, "Actually, I'm not that hungry anymore." But of course right when I say that, my stomach growls again.

"Huh, yeah," Zoe snickers.

"Percy," Artemis says sincerely, "If you don't feel comfortable eating with the hunters you can eat with me; or better yet I can eat with you." Like that one time after Apollo.

I flick my head to Zoe wondering if she is going to eat with me.

"Zo, can you eat with me too?" I ask. Zoe gives me one of those rare smiles.

"Of course, Perce. Your problems with the hunt will evaporate soon." She says calmly.

"How can you be so sure?" I ask skeptically. Unless she talked the hunters out of killing and/or maiming me, which is very well possible, I'm not sure.

"You just gotta trust me," Zoe cryptically says. Yay! Trust, remember the last person who you truly trusted, Percy. Plot twist! They are dead.

"Shut up!" I mutter to myself forcibly. Zoe recoils, probably because she heard me.

"What!?" She gasps, offended.

"Sorry, not talking to you." I apologize for not facing her. We start walking to lunch and one minute in, Zoe is asking random questions.

"So do you have any favorite singers or bands?" Zoe suggests. I ignore her lame attempt at starting a conversation. Artemis has yet to say something as we arrive at the center of camp.

"Alright Percy, do you still need me to sit at your table, or are you fine now?" Mom asks gently. I think about it, am I fine? The answer is, ehh I'm good enough, but how can I say that to the twin sister of the God of Truth. Then again, I don't want Artemis wasting her time on me.

"You're good. I think I am fine." I decide. In the corner of my vision, Zoe makes an expression. I couldn't see what her expression was since it vanished quickly. Mom's appearance also changed. Her soft smiles disappear.

"Oh, that's good Percy," She says, pulling me into a quick hug, "I love you Perce,"

"I-I-" My voice wavers," Love you to mom," I quietly say. Mom leaves Zoe and me with a satisfied smile.

"Let's go get plates and cups," Zoe says, walking to the designated area. As we near the tent, I instinctively come closer to Zoe. In turn, she hooks an arm around my shoulder like we are war buddies.

"Naomi!" She exclaims, "Can we get out plates, please." Judging from experiences from the past, I expect "Naomi" to hiss and sneer at us. Instead, to my surprise, she smiles happily at both of us and gives us the plates and cups.

"Thank you," I barely say, as Zoe drags me with her copper arms around me.

"Ow. Zoe, did you have to drag me? I would have come with you anyway," Zoe smirks in response. She runs ahead of me and to a table.

I sprint after she tries to catch up. She flashes me another cocky smirk.

"Yeah, but dragging you is fun," She pompously cracks.

"But you know what's more fun," I ask, wishing for my food, "Food." Zoe rolls her eyes and also wishes for hers. We dig into our meals.

Just about when we are both finished, Atalanta and a group of hunters approach our table. Expecting for the worst, Zoe tenses, ready for battle. I, on the other hand, remain calm. All the huntresses have smiles on their faces, including Atalanta. And it's not like one of those fake smiles, this one seems more real...more genuine.

"Sup Percy, sup Zoe," Atalanta greets us. Zoe sends me a silent message: Bad?

I subtly shake my head: No, maybe good. Zoe nods in agreement and we all exchange our hi's and hellos. So far, all is well because they all hold their smiles from before.

"So, what brings you guys here?" I ask cautiously, eying every one of them. The hunters chuckle and I can feel my cheeks turning red. Atalanta notices.

"Ohh," She cries, "Don't be embarrassed, we are here because we want to congratulate you for your first monster kill and to thank you for saving us." I give her a skeptical look, then turn to the gaggle of hunters and they are nodding with her. I begin to laugh.

"You!" I laugh, "No offense, but weren't you trying to kill me like 36 hours ago?" I probably should have said it a bit less harshly, judging by Atalanta's face.

"26 hours," Zoe pipes up.

"Yeah, that's true, but I have been meaning to speak with you about that. If you would come with me?" Atalanta says. I'm about to agree when Zoe intervenes.

"Hold it, how do we know this isn't going to be a repeat of yesterday? Only this time it'll be easier because no one will be around." Zoe points out. The group of the hunters' smiles begins to drop. Atalanta shakes her head violently.

"Nah that won't happen. We don't have to do it privately. We can talk here." She compromises. Zoe nods in agreement. Atalanta turns to me.

"I, no, 'we', want to thank you for saving our camp… our home, and we would like to apologize for our previous actions. You are a part of the hunters now. Would you accept our apology?" My mind doesn't comprehend what they said at first. Atalanta, the girl who hates males with a passion, is apologizing to me, a dude. Not to mention, they will recognize me in the hunt now.

"Uh, yeah, sure," I choke out. Phoebe almost squeals, which is kinda weird. That's a sentence I never thought I would say.

"Ok but first, weapons. Do you want me to train you with the bow? Because you need some serious help." Phoebe requests. I roll my eyes. I'm seconds in and I'm already being insulted.

"Ahem," Zoe interjects slightly angrily, "He has already got two trainers. Me and Lord Apollo." At the mention of Apollo, some of the hunters' noses scrunch up in disgust. Atalanta notices and tries to lighten the mood.

"Ah, very good. Though, only one of whom you named is worthwhile. I'll tell you to decipher who it is," She jokes, but as Zoe glares, she hastily adds, "I'm just kidding haha. Of course, it's you, Zoe. Do you think I would choose Apollo over you?... Okay, chillax with the laser eyes Ezoez."

I turn to Zoe, who I just now noticed gradually got closer to me.

"Ezoez?" Zoe rolls her eyes.

"Just a stupid nickname that those idiots," She points to Pheobe and Atalanta, "Created one day." I nod absent-mindedly.

"So we cool," Atalanta asks almost shyly.

"Yeah," I answer with a big smile. The hunters start to travel out of our vicinity leaving me and Zoe alone at our table once again.

"Well that was unpredictable," I say with a laugh, trying to start a conversation.

"Agreed, wonder where your mother went?" Zoe adds. That is a good question, she kinda just left us to eat lunch.

"She is probably doing some Olympian business," I suggest. Zoe nods thinking.

"So how do you think you would like Camp Half-Blood?" She asks me, stacking our finished plates and cups. I shrug. To be honest, the past couple of days were so hectic that I completely forgot that our destination was Camp Half-Blood.

"I dunno, I have never seen it. How is it there?" I ask.

Zoe gives me her trademark grin, "I'll tell you, but first, dishes."

But wait there's more. This is like a short excerpt from this chapter. Have fun!

Scenario- I honestly did not see this coming...

(3rd POV)

As soon Artemis left her son and his sister, she telepathically popped into Aphrodite's head.

"Aphrodite! Flash to me!" That is all she said as Artemis as well, flashed to a secluded forest. While she teleported, Artemis changed into her normal clothes. One of the luxuries of being a god or goddess is that you can just flash clothes on yourself.

Seconds later, the goddess of love appears in all her divine glory. She rushes up to Artemis and gives her a warm hug. Artemis shrivels up. Normally, she doesn't like being touched, but for her family, she sometimes makes an exception.

"Artemis! Hello, why did you ask me... here?" At the end of it, Aphrodite's voice turns to disgust. Similar to Artemis, she doesn't like nature or going outside but don't tell Demeter about that.

"Well, there are some things I need to tell you," Artemis says uncomfortably. She sits on the grass and clears some sticks to make space for her fellow godly being. She pats the ground she just cleared, indicating to Aphrodite.

"I. Am. Not sitting there." Aphrodite says stubbornly, but at Artemis's unusually hard glare she sits down immediately.

"So what do you have to tell me that's so worth telling me to get grass and dirt stains on my leggings?" She grumbles.

"Relax, you look fine. At least that's what 'males' always think," Artemis assures.

"Hey! Alright, anyway, what is it?" Aphrodite says. Artemis hesitates.

'That's weird, she never does that,' Aphrodite thinks, 'She is always head up and in the front.' She starts to speculate what it is, 'maybe she is asking me to join the hunt again.

"Well..." Artemis takes a deep breath, "I have a child."

Aphrodite's eyes grow huge.

"Uhh WHAT?!"

Artemis jumps and scurries to see if anyone heard her.

"Shh!" She whispers angrily, "Do you want me to get in trouble?!" Aphrodite raises her hands and backs off.

"So, uh, did you uh do… did you find someone?" Aphrodite says warily. She is scared that Artemis might get heartbroken. She would know, she is an expert at breaking hearts.

"Ha," Artemis snorts, "As if I would find a male that I would touch, let alone make a child." Aphrodite sighs in relief.

"Oh good, I got scared for a second. Tell me all about her! Wait, is it a girl?" She asks. Artemis laughs and shakes her head no.

"No, it is a 10-year-old boy and he is so adorable!" Artemis gushes. Aphrodite chuckles, it was rare that Artemis ever reacted like this. It's good to see a change of pace.

"Does anyone else know?" Aphrodite asks. Artemis tilts her head slightly then shakes it.

"No, not many people, only my hunt and Apollo. Well, and you." Inside, Aphrodite is gasping in surprise. She is one of the first that Artemis trusts to confide in about her child. The goddess of love forces herself to be calm.

"Apollo?" She asks, raising one of her perfectly trimmed eyebrows.

"I didn't mean for him to find out, but Percy kind of shot him with an arrow. So now he and Zoe are his tutors." Artemis admitted. Aphrodite openly laughs.

"Umm, what?!"

"Yeah, but today was interesting. I handled my first mom problem," Artemis says. Aphrodite hums and leans against a tree.

"So Percy fought the Minotaur and got injured pretty badly and fell unconscious. Apparently, while they were clashing, the Minotaur ran over his tent into a fireplace and burned his only picture of his first mom." Aphrodite blinks.

"So what you are saying is that your 10-year-old son fought one of the strongest monsters with barely any training and now has no physical memory of his mother anymore. That's an insane mom problem." Aphrodite remarks, shocked.

Artemis shrugged, "What was hard was when he couldn't call me, 'mom'. But in the end, he did." Aphrodite nods.

"Probably 'cause the pain is still fresh. It's good that you fixed it." Aphrodite says. Artemis leans closer to her.

"Honestly Dite, I don't know how you do this 'mom' thing. You seem like you are a natural at it." The goddess of the moon sighs next to her. Aphrodite feigns confusion.

"Me? Why don't you ask the goddess of the family?" Aphrodite suggests.

"I know you more so I asked you," Artemis raises an eyebrow, "You've got a problem with that?" Aphrodite laughs and surrenders. Aphrodite then suddenly stands up and looks at Artemis.

"I'm sorry Arty but I have to go do something for Ares."

"What did I say about calling me Arty?" Artemis calls after her fellow goddess. As Aphrodite is preparing to flash out she smiles.

"To always call you Arty to annoy you, I learned it from Apollo."
