elda grabbed the three Zora children, chucking them behind a rock as the Lynel charged.

"Stay here!" Zelda yelled as she ran out from behind the rock, not having time to see any of the confused faces of the children. Zelda stood on the opposite side of the rock, watching as the Lynel continued its charge. What was she supposed to do?

The Lynel quickly advanced, lowering its head ready for impact. Zelda, fumbling in surprise, took out the Royal Broadsword Link had given her. In a moments reaction, Zelda held her sword out in front of her chest as the Lynel's head was soon under her, bringing it's horns ferociously up. The forehead of the Lynel made contact with Zelda's blade, pushing the flat of the blade into her stomach. Zelda was launched in the air, flying a distance away before crashing into the grass.

Zelda gasped for air, the wind having been knocked out of her. She rolled onto all fours, attempting to push herself back up. She was able to barely stand on her feet before facing the Lynel once again. However, the Lynel had pulled it shoulders back, standing on its back hind legs. It seemed to be sucking in?

Suddenly, with a boom of the landing Lynel, flames erupted from the Lynels breath, fireballs headed right for Zelda's direction. Zelda barely jumped out the way behind a tree, the fire splitting off into two directions. She felt two more fiery forces slam against the tree before the blast furry came to an end.

Zelda slightly sat up, wiping sweat off her brow. She felt the tree getting warm behind her. The tree must be on fire. She needed to move the moment the Lynel rushed her again. Maybe it would slam against the fiery tree, discombobulating it. However, Zelda didn't hear the sound of hooves charging her. Fear grew in her chest. The beast hadn't noticed the children had it?

However, the moment Zelda turned she heard a whizzing sound from above. She looked up to see three Shock Arrows electrifying their way down towards her. She gasped as she stumbled away, the electric explosion going off behind her blowing her away.

She flew a few feet away until crashing into a rock a few feet away from the tree. She coughed, the wind having being knocked out of her yet again. This.. this was nothing like fighting Bokoblins or Lizalfos... This was a true monster. This is one of the nightmares Link truly fought against. This was a battle. A true battle to the death.

Zelda looked up, a hand to her chest, to see the Lynel charging her once again. She dropped her sword, taking her bow off her back. She quickly grabbed a shock arrow that was stuck in the rock she had slammed into and knocked the arrow. Same with the other monster's, the Lynel had to have a weak spot. And so far, all of the weak spots have been the head.

This should be no different.

Zelda quickly aimed and fired. The arrow shot through the air, striking the beast directly between the eyes. The Lynel reared with a roar, taking a few steps back before crashing down onto its front legs. Zelda fired a few more normal arrows at the beast before the beast roared, standing and leaning back farther than ever on its hind legs, its sword at the ready to plunge into the ground. What was it doing now?

Zelda plunged behind the rock as the Lynel brought its sword down. The explosion grew, fire erupting from every angle, creating a dome of impenetrable heat. The fire exploded against the rock as Zelda crouched, trying not to give in to the immense heat of the Lynel. Zelda coughed as the heat died down, smoke and wind pressure raising from the heat around her. Wind pressure...

Zelda brought out her paraglider, allowing the heat to raise her to the sky. She remembered what Link did with the Guardian. She could mimic it. She released the glider, pulling out her bow, aiming for the Lynel. However she soon realized that maybe there was something she was missing as she came rushing back down to the ground. She tried her best to aim but she had to grab her glider before crashing harshly to the ground, sliding against the grass. How did Link do it?

There was no time to ponder as the Lynel slammed its hooves to the ground, readying itself for another charge. Zelda's eyes widened with fear as she tried to stand, however a searing pain shot through her leg. Did she break it when she landed as rough as she did? The Lynel began its charge as Zelda sat immobile. Was this it? Zelda closed her eyes, waiting for the inevitable impact.

Sidon sat in front of Mipha's statue, contemplating the events of the meeting. From what he remembered when he was little a hundred years ago, it wasn't the Princesses fault that she couldn't bring out her Sacred Power. She hadn't anyone to teach her, what was she supposed to do? Muzu completely stepped out of line with what he had said.

Sidon sighed. How was he supposed to rid the Elders of the resentment towards the Hylian Royal Family? There had to be some way to unite them. Whether or not the Royal Family took back its throne, or if Hyrule remained the quiet peaceful place it is, the treatment of Zelda was simply unjust. But what to do...

"Prince Sidon!" A female voice called, knocking Sidon out of his thoughts as he looked up. A reddish Zora came running down the stairs, only choosing to catch her breath when she was in front of the Prince.

"Laflat! How are you doing this fine afternoon? I must say, you should take a break from your Zora Royal Chief Secretary duties every now and then!" Sidon said happily, however the Secretary shook her head, barely allowing herself a few breaths before speaking.

"Prince... Sidon... The children..." She uttered between breaths. Sidons face immediately became serious.

"Where are they? What happened?" He asked quickly.

"The Lynel has returned from the dead! It's once again claiming Ploymus Mountain as it's home! I warned the children again to stay away from the mountain with the picture the Hylian champion Link gave me, but they had not heeded my word. When they couldn't find Link, they said they would find another Hylian! I believe they took that blonde haired girl with them up the mountain! I couldn't catch up to them!"

Sidons face grew with fear. They took Princess Zelda with them? Why would the Princess agree to such terms?

"I will figure something out! Do not fear Laflat!" Sidon said with a quick twinkle of a smile before dashing quickly up the stairs. He needed to get his attention. Link had to be informed.

Link, who was sitting on top of the Domains fish tail, was laying, staring up at the sky. What was he supposed to do? Mipha... What were he and her like back then? And would using her power to heal Zelda's scars be a treachery of Mipha's heart? If only he could remember...

"LINK!" a strong pair of lungs called from down below. Sidon again. Link sighed. He knew he would have to get down at some point and face Zelda. If only he could go back to her with an answer to get rid of those scars...

From down below, Sidons chest rose, taking in a large breath to yet again call to the Hylian Knight.

"LINK! THE PRINCESS WENT TO PLOYMUS MOUNTAIN! THE BEAST! IT HAS RETURNED!" He shouted at the top of his lungs. Sidon gasped for breath, bringing a webbed hand to his chest. Looking upwards. Had Link still not heard? What was he doing up there?

However, with amazing force, a sudden pillar of winds shot from the top of the Domain into the sky, a green light shining at the bottom. All the Zora looked up in aww as the winds gracefully spiraled into the sky. At the top, Link was crouched, allowing the power of the winds to flow around him before leaping into the sky, his paraglider carrying him skyward.

Once the Knight reached the highest point the gale could reach, he released his paraglider, allowing his bullet time to take over. Link immediately scanned the time slowed area. Instantly, his eyes landed on the Lynel, seemingly about to charge into an injured Zelda. Link clicked his tongue. If he glided normally he wouldn't make it in time...

After a few bullet time seconds of thinking, Link quickly grabbed the Shiekah Slate from his belt. He took a quick breath. It was the only way. He had been wanting to try this for awhile anyway. Better now than later. Link, still in bullet time, selected a bomb off the slate, immediately a bomb appeared. Link held his breath. This would hurt. Link slammed on the button.

The bomb exploded, knocking Link out of bullet time. However, pushing through the pain, Link released the paraglider yet again, flying at an extreme speed towards Ploymus Mountain.

On the mountain top, the Lynel charged towards its victim. Zelda closed her eyes, trapped on the ground due to her broken leg, ready for death to claim her. However with a quick thud, she heard something land roughly in front of her. Her eyes shot open just in time to see the Lynels forehead crash into the familiar blue and red shield.

The Knight forced his arm back, the Hylian shield raised high, the Master Sword at the ready, as the Lynel reared from being parried.

"Sorry I'm late." Link said, not turning back to Zelda, his bright blue backside the only thing in Zelda's view. "I see the arrows you shot. You did well holding out for so long. Rest up."

Link turned just barely to give Zelda a warm smile.

"I'll take it from here."

...

Kenlair here.

I do know there is a little bit more that goes into that glitch of the bomb and going fast on the glider in the game... but I simplified it to make it work a bit more properly with the story. Is that okay?
