Dangerous Hunters has Enter the Slum!
"Touta, are you sure you're gonna be okay moving right now? You did say you got struck by lightning." Kuroumaru asked concern of Touta.
"Don't worry, it may have hurt a little though I was able to recover thanks to my healing power of an Immortal and Devil." Touta assured his friend that he is fine.
"I'm more surprised there was a thunderstorm last night and none of us have heard the thunder." Ruki said.
"Well, let just say it was an instant storm that just appeared one second and gone the next." Touta lied, not wanting to make others blame Karin for what happened last night.
"By the way, have you seen Karin?" Touta asked.
"Well, I saw her going for a walk then off to the shower the nun offered. Although, she did look like she was angry and embarrass at the same time, and then I had a feeling you had something to do with it." Kuroumaru stated.
"Yeah, I may have been too forward with that kiss last night." Touta said scratching the back of his head.
"Oh, that make sense… Wait, you KISSED her?!" Kuroumaru gasped as Ruki is shocked too.
"Yep, and I have no regrets!" Touta said proudly.
"S-S-So, that means you're already starting this harem idea!" Kuroumaru gulped.
"Totally, but we can talk about it later. Right now, Ruki and I got some food deliveries to make." Touta waved goodbye and hop on one foot.
"Hey, wait for me!" Ruki called out as he follows Touta.
Kuroumaru is left alone in front of the old church building so shcok and his colors went a little pale as he is still shocked about Touta kissing Karin last night, he also remembers Touta telling him about the harem idea though he was still weirded out by it.
"(I… I probably shouldn't be thinking about this but… I can't help feel like I want to kiss Touta.)" Kuroumaru thought conflicted of his feelings. He wants to be a female, yet at the same time his inner female won't shut up.
"Damn it, this is all your fault, Touta." Kuroumaru muttered with his cheeks being pouted.
(Elsewhere, the Edge of the Slum)
Two mysterious strange men are seen staring down at the Slum, one old man and one young man with an eyepatch over the left eye, for a moment as they are waiting for someone to show up and they can get on to what they are doing here for.
Then they hear footsteps walking closer to them from behind.
"You're late, Young Kaito." The old man scolded without turning his head.
"Sorry about that, Shion Nagumo, you old man." Kaito smirked.
Nagumo is an elderly man with long white hair tied in a ponytail from behind, with two hair strands hanging infront of his face, he also has a white goatee, with a flat edge. His eyes are also appeared to be always close. He wears a long brown coat covering most of his body, he also wears black pants, with metallic guards on the legs and boots that are also coated in metal. He carries a sword in his hand as well.
"What's this? You seem to be in a good mood." Nagumo noticed the exciting tone in Kaito's voice is a little more than usually.
"I found a kid in the Slum with potential, and I mean really GREAT potential. So much, I've been teaching him a few things like the Flash Step technique, and he already got it down like a pro." Kaito explained.
"Sounds like this youngster has quite the strong spirit for you to give off such praise, but I must remind you to not become too attach to those we're about to wipe out." Nagumo reminded him of the job.
"Don't worry about me, I won't hold back at all." Kaito said.
"No, that's against the rules." Nagumo mentioned about the rules they follow.
"Come on, I wanted to mess around a bit more." Kaito excited and his body started to change into the form of a werewolf.
In this form, Kaito loses his shirt and is much larger and muscular than before, and gains white fur, and a large tail. His back is covered with large amounts of fur, while a beard-like form at the front of his chest and gives an appearance similar to a mane. His legs also become elongated, much like the back legs of a wolf. Kaito's eyes also change, gaining a black sclera while his iris become white, and so do his pupils.
"Your fur is so nice and soft as always." The eyepatch young man complimented rubbing his hand on Kaito's furred back.
"Hands off, pervert." Kaito glared.
"I can't wait, it's so exciting we get to kill them all, right?" The eyepatch young man smirked creepy.
"You're just as creepy as always, I see. Xingzi Chao." Kaito commented.
Xingzi is a man of an above average height. He sports black spiky hair, long enough to cover his forehead, as well as his left eye that is hidden by an eyepatch. However, the hair on his back is long enough to be kept in a ponytail, reaching all the way to the lower part of his body. His attire is military or sports-like, wearing dark colored jacket and trousers with stripes. He also keeps several small bags on himself.
"Well then, shall we? Our work as Immortal Hunters awaits." Nagumo said and the three make their way to the Slum to being their job of killing the place and the people in it.
(Later, with Touta and Ruki)
"Okay, those two should be around here." Touta said looking for a couple of UQ Holder agents.
"Hey, I see them!" Ruki pointed at the two men, looking like one is complaining about being out here for so here.
"Hey, thanks for keeping a lookout!" Ruki called out getting their attention.
"We thought you guys could have some food as a thank you for everything." Touta said and serve the cooked rice meal to them.
"This is perfect! Thanks for this, Touta!" One agent thanked exciting.
"You don't have to do this for us, underlings." The other agent said.
"That difference does it make is we're part of the same group helping others, besides I'm also doing this for training." Touta stated.
"Yeah, training to be the fastest thing alive!" Ruki grinned.
"Well, see you guys later!" Touta said his goodbye as he and Ruki hop away.
The two men soon ate the rice meal Touta cooked, finding the flavors and everyone else in this dish is unbelievable tasty as they want to eat this forever, but one agent only had five bites of the rice meal before he was suddenly stabbed through from behind by an unknown guy with a sword. Soon, another guy with the same purple hoodie came at the agent from the front impaling him with a sword too and killing him. The other agent became shocked and saw a third purple hoodie guy aiming a gun at him the agent didn't react in time as he got shot several times even after he died.
(With Karin)
"Are you sure it's alright? I don't want to misuse the showers." Karin asked the nun outside of th shower house.
"Don't worry about it, all the women in the area pitch to fix this shower room. We'd be honor for you to use it." Mikan smiled as this is the least, they can do for UQ Holder's help.
"Don't mention it." Karin smiled while spreading the shampoo on her hair.
Then she notice that Mikan's presence has gone silent all the sudden and wonder why, but she didn't sense anything from her shadow that Xingzi has come out and aim his gun right at her head which she quickly reacted with a magic barrier though it got destroyed after a few shots. This caught Xingzi by surprise which Karin quickly took the gun from him and fired two rounds of bullets at the lower part of the torso making him groan a little.
"(Who on earth…?! I wasn't able to sense him until the last second.)" Karin thought shocked as it is rare for anyone to sneak up on her like that.
"…Are all you UQ Holders this skilled or is it just you that this powerful. Whatever shall I do?" Xingzi chuckled and reveal to block the bullets with his knife.
"(He's clearly skill, but that's not the problem.)" Karin thought worried.
"Is it really all that normal to fight back barehanded when surprised by a round of bullets? You could have just dodge them all." Xingzi pointed out in a mocking way while twirling around his combat knife on his finger.
"(This is not good, if he was able to make it in here than that means…)" Karin thought feared for the worse.
"A great samurai of the past once said, "If you become immortal then your strength will continue to demission." You're not very endearing, are you?" Xingzi mocked.
"What have you done with those outside?" Karin demanded, hoping Mikan is okay.
"Depending on your answer… No, never mind, I don't have time to deal with you. Move aside." Karin ordered as she wants to check on what is going on outside the shower house.
"I blew apart your magic barrier, so now I'm hoping to get a delicious taste of your immortality." Xingzi said exciting.
"Think again!" Karin started shooting at Xingzi as he dodges and blocks some with his knife.
He jumps forward to slice at the head though Karin leans backward to avoid the knife, but the eyepatch wearing assassin knocked the gun out of her hand to make her unarmed though Karin wasn't helpless as she threw some strong punches left and right. Xingzi quickly swing his knife fast to slice at Karin's neck though not scratch appeared due to her highly advance immortality which surprises Xingzi, then decided to slice at Karin who blocks them with her arms and no scratches just like before.
"Hahahaha! Look at that skin! I'm hitting you constantly, but there's no mark!" Xingzi laughed insanely and excited.
"And what's more is that your body is" Xingzi's sentence was cut off by a strong punch to the stomach by Karin.
"Don't push your luck!" Karin pushed Xingzi through the shower door crashing to a mirror and pin his neck with her right foot.
"You're just a regular human, aren't you?" Karin asked though she already knew the answer.
"Leave now, if you value your life." Karin threatened as she presses foot onto the neck further choking the guy.
"You didn't think… it would be that easy." Xingzi brought out a gun from a black hole that just appeared next to him.
Karin saw this and tried to move away, but Xingzi had already grabbed her face by the cheek and put the shooting barrel inside her mouth shooting three rounds in her mouth, the pain from those bullets were intense as Karin fell on her knees and cough out the bullets while breathing a little heavy.
"As I thought, I keep hitting you but there aren't any wounds. But you still feel pain, don't you? Well, well, so that's how it is. That's how your immortality works." Xingzi figured out as he laughs.
"What an amazing little find. This job was so worth taking on considering I got to meet someone like you." Xingzi smiled creepy and evil.
"My name is Xingiz Chao, a member of a private military security force called the Powerful Hand." Xingzi introduced himself.
"(Bastard!)" Karin thought angered as she let this man get to her like that.
"You pervert!" Karin shouted in anger as she grabs a towel to cover her naked body.
"(No, he's a professional mercenary.)" Karin thought of being extra careful with this guy thinking this guy might be a bit harder than she thought.
"My task is to delay you. Such, how about you let me enjoy your immortality a bit more." Xingzi smirked excitingly creepy.
"(He not only attacked me when my guard was down… But he also dares to look at my naked body when it should Touta looking at me like that!)" Karin thought angered as she put her towel on.
"(Wait, what? Why was I thinking about Touta and if he saw me naked?!)" Karin thought realized and gasp of the sudden thought.
"(No, focus Karin. Focus, I have to beat this assassin and get outside because I fear something worse is happening right now.)" Karin thought shook her head and get into her fighting stance, preparing herself to face Xingzi in this close-space combat.
(With Touta and Ruki)
Touta is seen standing on top of a large hill pile of junk with Ruki as the little boy is searching through the trash to find something that is still intact and useable too, he also explained that he sells these to make some money help the others at the church and the Slum citizens to get by.
"Hey, this one is good!" Ruki found a none-bended can.
"So, this is your job, huh? A pain in the butt if you ask me." Touta commented.
"It's not all that bad and once you're use to it, you can make quite a bit to help." Ruki stated.
"I see." Touta said, thinking Ruki must have worked really hard to get by and help the others like the other kids at the old church trying to help them get some food on the table for everyone.
"Hey Ruki, what are you going to do after this? I mean when you're older in the near future?" Touta asked curiously.
"Well, I'm gonna study, save up, and go to a university. Then I'll become a businessman and make this place super awesome!" Ruki answered with strong belief in his words.
"That sounds great! You must have really thought this through, huh?" Touta amazed of how far ahead Ruki has been thinking of his life and others.
"Sure, I have! I'm going to make the Slum a better place for everyone to live in just like in the old days when there were more people in the city, everything will be peaceful and exciting with no more struggling for food and clothes! That's the dream I'm going to achieve, no matter what!" Ruki determined.
"(Wow, this kid really got the spirit. Reminds me of myself, I wanted to go to the capital to make some money and make my hometown famous so we can have more visitors.)" Touta thought smiled, seeing himself in Ruki.
"If you want, Ruki. I can help make some money like maybe doing some demon hunting jobs." Touta offered.
"Huh, demon hunting?" Ruki asked.
"Yeah, I figured that I could do more than just some missions and helping out at the spa resort, so maybe demon hunting can help roll in the cash spending some earnings to my hometown and some to you too." Touta explained.
"Wow, you would really do that!" Ruki surprised smiling.
"You bet I would!" Touta smiled.
"And you know what? I always like your white hair, it's so cool!" Ruki complimented.
"Thanks, I think it's pretty great and my girlfriend thinks so too." Touta smiled.
However, their happy conversation was changed when Ruki notice a small black smoke raising from below somewhere in the Slum.
"Hey, what's that?" Ruki asked as Touta saw the smoke too.
"Is that smoke? It's a fire!" Ruki realized shock.
"It's not just one, and it doesn't look like an accident either." Touta glared in anger, these fires are being created by someone who wants to destroy the Slum and the people in it.
Touta quickly took out his IPhone to call the Underlings to know the situation, but he can't get ahold of them for some reason as he doesn't know that they were killed by the strange purple hoodie men and they're the ones setting the fire.
"Damn it, I can't get a hold of the underlings. We got to go and see what's going on." Touta suggested and slide down the junk pile.
Ruki was about to follow him when suddenly three of those purple hoodie men came at the little boy from behind to attack, but Touta came to save him quicker and slice those guys clean in half with his sword.
"Touta!" Kuroumaru called out as he enters the scene.
"Kuroumaru, what's going on?" Touta asked.
"An enemy force is trying to burn down this area to drive out the residents." Kuroumaru informed.
"Are you fucking kidding me! That just piss me off!" Touta angered.

The dangerous enemies known as the Immortal Hunters have come to the Slum and have already started causing destruction by setting up fires to burn the area down, Touta and the others are going to have to fight the hunters including one he would not expect to fight him as an enemy.
