Amelia pushed her reform earlier than she wanted to and just as she predicted it cost her a lot of popularity points, but the support she received, after her full article was published, was unquestionably the highest any Minister of Magic had received in previous times.

With that many of the Circle members who worked with the Ministry were out of commission, the rest had to pick up the slack. Moody was thankfully able to go wherever he wanted and reached out first to Neville's grandmother Augusta Longbottom.

The Brigade members were not informed of the new information, except that of the Reform act, they got through their exams just fine, everyone passed with flying colors, of course Harry and Hermione scored top marks.

The day of the Farewell Feast, with everyone gathered at the Great Hall, Harry was lingering behind in his room, he knew something was happening, but he wasn't sure what it was, and as he went over his items to make sure he hadn't forgotten anything he heard the door open.

"I'm coming Hermione.." He began and was interrupted.

"I'm sorry to disappoint, it is just I." Dumbledore said as he made his way to him.

"If we could have a moment, Harry, before joining the others." He held his hands behind his back as he walked around the dorm.

"I never really been in here, Gryffindor was my house you see." He silently mused over the wall designs, Harry didn't push him and Dumbledore didn't immediately continue.

"We're on the same page Harry, why won't you let me help you?" Dumbledore finally asked him, his back still towards Harry as he looked at the walls.

Harry closed the lid of his trunk slowly, but didn't turn to look at Dumbledore. "How much do you know?"

"I know enough to know that you're leading yourself and others into grave danger." Dumbledore told him. "You're talking about things you have no knowledge about." At this point he turned to face Harry, but Harry was still turned away.

Harry grinded his teeth, "You mean the Horcruxes? You mean the lack of proper defenses? Or how about the money you've stolen from me? How I was left with the Dursleys for so long? How you know more than you let on?"

Dumbledore sighed, his shoulders slightly hunched, Harry then to face him. Dumbledore attempted to penetrate his mind, one last time to confirm what he knew.

"Occlumency Harry, I would say I am proud of such magic, but to use it against me?" Dumbledore asked.

Harry nodded, "I came into this world because I had no one else out there, to gain answers, to know about my parents, but all I've found are secrets and lies. What I have now, I gained on my own."

Dumbledore smiled as a grandfather would to his grandson, "Yes Harry, I cannot deny you've done very well. But what's coming is something we must not face alone." He extended his hand towards Harry.

Harry glared at him, "For the first time, I am not alone."

Dumbledore's smile did not fade, as his hand slowly went to his back. "It's not time to reveal that Voldemort is back."

Harry smirked in anger, "You want things to go your way, but it's beyond your control Headmaster, either you step down from all your false positions and help as the strong wizard you are or we'll take you down too."

Dumbledore sighed heavily at this, "Harry the war is not between us…"

"But you made it this way, because you're the one who always wants control, who wants to know first and more before anyone." Harry told him, "You're worse than Voldemort, you stand on this moral view and claim it's everyone's duty, and yet you only give half truths and riddles as answers."

Harry didn't stop himself, he remembered the notes of the journal, the pain the other him suffered, "Voldemort sees me as his enemy, but at least I am a person, someone he fears. But you, you see me as this..this..this weapon to be used at your command! Well I'm not! I may be the Boy-Who-Lived, but I have a name, I am Harry Potter."

Harry trembled, he had no idea where those words came from, they just spilled out.

Dumbledore looked ashen at Harry's accusations, but he pressed on, "I am sorry you feel that way Harry, it was never my intention, you must understand there is a larger cause than the both of us."

Dumbledore continued when he saw Harry attempt to speak, "I do see you as Harry, but you are still young…"

Harry then strode out of the dorm, but Dumbledore caught up with him in the sitting area, "Harry, it will become horrible for you, many people will get hurt."

Harry looked over his shoulder and very coldly said, "At least it will be out of their own will."

Harry strode out of the Slytherin dorm as Dumbledore stayed behind, with thoughts in turmoil.

At the banquet the House Cup was awarded to Gryffindor, some last minute points were handed out. And after the feast was over, Dumbledore gave his speech.

"It's not always easy being wrong, and worse still when you are right and need to prove it to a friend." He glanced briefly in Harry's direction. "But what can be promised is that when times become more difficult, Hogwarts can always be counted on."

Everyone took it as him referencing the new Reform act, but even then they didn't understand what he meant if they tried to apply it.

Harry waited until they were on the train and told Hermione about the conversation. Hermione agreed to keep this private for now, but that Sirius and Remus needed to know as soon as possible.

Luna joined them later in their carriage and recounted to them about her year, Harry and Hermione were very happy that her first year was memorable, anyone who had tried to pick on her was quickly warned of her friendship with Hermione and Harry.

The students heard the stories of Harry and Hermione, the training they did in the clubs, the school work. Though Hermione was striving to excel, Harry was attempting his best to learn everything to survive his final battle.

Unbeknownst to both of them, they have moved up the ranks of their year, exceeding much

Luna knew there was something dangerous going on, her mother wrote to her constantly, making sure she is alright and to always stay safe.

She had plans to talk to her once she made it home, she was twelve now after all, and she understood the world was not always good.

For now, she enjoyed the freedom her friends and her family granted her.
