Chapter 56 Epiloge
(Insert Hong Kong from Godzilla vs Kong Skip to the last 2 minutes and 30 seconds)
Korra rushed through what remained of the City to find her husband after the Devil was finally defeated.
"Sean where are you?" Korra asked.
"Mommy!" Annabeth yelled jumping to her making her catch her and held her close.
"Honey. How did you get here?" Korra a asked before Pema appeared holding Lysandra with Calliope and Katara before the last two rushed to their mother making her hold them.
"Mommy? Wheres Daddy?" Katara asked.
"I don't know but we're gonna find him sweetie. I promise." Korra said.
"KORRA!" Asami yelled making her rush to her.
When she arrived she gasped seeing Sean on his back with his chest bleeding heavily from the Devil's final attack before she rushed to him and held his face.
"Sean." Korra said as he looked at her before smiling.
"Hey." Sean said before coughing up blood making her gasp as she made water before trying to heal him.
"This isn't good. His wound is pretty bad." Lin said.
"If he dies again." Mako said.
"What happened last time won't. The gods are free and purged of the corruption." Sean said before coughing up more blood.
"No." Korra cried as she held his face.
"It's gonna be ok." Sean said holding her as she cried.
"Please not again." Korra begged.
"BOY!" Odin roared making them widen their eyes as the Gods approached them.
Korra was quick to grab Sean's axe and glared at them before Zeus approached her.
"Get away from him." Korra said before he gently grabbed the axe.
"Calm yourself child. There is no need for violence. Not anymore." Zeus said approaching his grandson who was breathing heavily before Zeus engulfed him in lightning before his wound started to close making Korra rush to him as she held his face as his breathing returned to normal.
"Our war...Is over." Ares said before Lin and Suyin helped Sean up.
"Yes...It is." Sean said.
(End Song)
Later
Sean was on Airtemple island getting looked over by Kya and some other healers.
Korra however watched as her kids played with some of the gods like Hera who smiled as she held her oldest while Thor picked up Calliope as Osiris and his wife held Katara who laughed.
"Things are finally back to normal as they were 10,000 years ago." Tenzin said.
"Yeah...Sean's mother would have loved to see this." Korra said as said person walked out holding his chest before she walked to him. "How do you feel?" Korra asked.
"Lousy. But nothing a nice night's rest won't fix." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him.
"I'm just happy you're ok. I couldn't bare losing you again." Korra said making him smile.
"I know. And you won't ever again." Sean said holding her close
"Oh this is all just perfect." Turok said holding Jinora close who smiled at him.
"By the way Turok...Isn't there something you wanna ask Tenzin?" Korra teased making him glare making her and her husband chuckle.
"Ask me what?" Tenzin asked.
"Fucking motherfuckers. Um...Any chance you'd let me marry your daughter?" Turok asked making him gasp in shock.
Sean and the others chuckled before Tenzin fainted backwards making them burst out laughing while the girls were very confused.
"Daddy? Why did Grandpa Tenzin faint?" Calliope asked making him chuckle.
"Um. Some people take the news of engagement differently. Heh. Your grandmother and Grandfather took it a lot better than he did." Sean said chuckling.
"Well...I know you have my approval and I know your father will clearly say yes." Pema said making Jinora squeal before kissing her fiancé. "But what exactly brought this on?" Pema asked making them freeze while Sean and Korra snickered.
"I convinced him to do this after all this was over." Korra said making Sean chuckle.
"Yeah thats it." Mimir said sarcastically.
"You sure you didn't catch them..." Dojo tried to say.
"DOJO!" Turok and Jinora yelled annoyed.
"What?" Dojo asked before Sean turned him to Jade.
"Like I said he's always running his mouth." Sean said making Korra giggle.
"Well either way you have my approval and your father's." Pema said making them grin at each other.
"This calls for a celebration!" Varrick said.
"None of yours or the whole party will blow up like you nearly did yourself." Sean said.
"Please you think I would blow myself up and my fiancé?" Varrick asked.
"Eh?" Sean asked before seeing the engagement ring on Zhu Li who blushed.
"Oh my god. What do you see in him?" Reznov asked.
"We all have special tastes." Zhu Li said as Julia held her son Tyr in her arms before Odin took him into his and he laughed at his grandfather making him smile.
3 days later
Sean and Korra smiled as Turok lifted Jinora's vail before kissing her making everyone cheer.
"Oh this is a day I am not ever forgetting so easily." Sean said making Korra giggle as Jinora tossed her flowers before they landed in Opal's hands making her blush before looking at Bolin who smiled.
"Oh dear." Korra said making them laugh.
Soon the reception was in full swing with everyone even the gods chatting with one another.
"So...What really made Korra talk them into getting married?" Senna asked grinning making Sean chuckle looking at his brother who danced with his wife.
"Korra caught them having sex in the forests and blackmailed them to get married or she would tell Tenzin." Sean said making her giggle.
"I'm not surprised. Kinda like you and Korra before you got married." Senna teased making Sean chuckle a little before walking away.
Sean found Korra looking at the new spirit portal before walking to her.
"I spoke with Freya. She's gonna stay in office till her term is up. Tomorrow she's announcing a plan to expand the city rather than rebuild downtown because of the spirit portal." Sean said.
"I bet Aang never could have imagined there would be a spirit portal in the heart of Republic City." Korra said looking at it.
"Korra...You've transformed the world more in a few years than any other Avatar did during their lifetime. And that is something I'm very proud of you for." Sean said making her smile.
"I know...But theres so much more I want to learn. Being immortal gives you all the time in the world." Korra said.
"I know. And you will. And I'll be beside you every step of the way." Sean said making her smile before looking down.
"I know you were in a very dark place when you lost your connection for three years. But maybe it gave you the push you needed to finally defeat the Devil and restore order. To finally give back the hope people lost for so long." Korra said making him smile as he kissed her as she held him close before Senna walked to them.
"Korra. Lysandra is getting kinda fussy right now." Senna said making her giggle.
"I can think of one reason why." Korra said walking off to calm her youngest down while Sean looked at the spirit portal before Senna walked to him.
"I don't think I ever thanked you and Tonraq...Or apologized." Sean said confusing her.
"For what?" Senna asked.
"For taking me in immediately when you found me almost 20 years ago. And not apologizing for leaving to find answers to my past." Sean said making her smile as she held him.
"Sean...I told you before Tonraq and I considered every day we had both you and Korra a gift. And I still do. And I know you needed to find answers to who you were. I am so proud of who you've become and what you've done." Senna said making him smile.
"Thanks." Sean said before looking away.
"What is it?" Senna asked.
"My grandfather...He offered me a place on Olympus to take my mother's place as the God Of Wisdom." Sean said.
"Thats a good thing. You can make a bigger difference." Senna said before he looked at her. "But theres a catch isn't there?" Senna asked.
"I wouldn't have as much time as I do now with Korra and the girls. I don't know what to do." Sean said making her smile.
"Sean. I know you can make it work if you take that position. If you don't I know for the right reasons. Either way me Tonraq and Korra will support you completely." Senna said making him smile.
"I know." Sean said.
Next day
Korra and her family were about to get on a ship to head back to the South.
"Wheres Daddy?" Calliope asked making Korra smile as she crouched down to her.
"Your father...He's..." Korra tried to say.
"Right here." Sean said walking to them before the girls rushed to him making him laugh as he picked them up.
"Wait...What about taking your mother's place?" Korra asked.
"I talked to my grandfather about that...I turned it down. I have everything I need right here." Sean said making her smile before she held him.
"I kinda figured you would." Senna said making him chuckle.
"As much as I think I could do a lot of good in her place. I would rather be here." Sean said before they got on the ship.
As the Ship departed Republic City Sean took a last look at the docks before he saw both his parents smiling at him before they vanished making him smile.
"Their always looking out for you." Korra said next to him.
"Yeah. And I'm always gonna be here for you and the girls and any other kids we have which obviously we will have." Sean said making her giggle.
"Yeah." Korra said holding him close. "I love you." Korra said.
"I love you too." Sean said.
5 years later
It has been five years since the Devil was defeated at Republic City by Sean and the gods.
Since then the world had returned back to the old ways with peace and prosperity.
The evils the devil used to infect the Gods and mankind were long gone.
Forever sealed away by God himself to prevent anymore chaos for him to unleash.
After the war Kuvira was placed on house arrest because Sean asked people to go easy on her since her actions also led to the defeat of the Devil and finally purging the gods of all the corruption the Devil infected on them.
As for Zaheer. Korra placed him right back where he was before his death. Only this time around he wouldn't die from his injuries and he was made immortal from dying from age. A punishment for him to suffer for his crimes for all eternity.
As for the group everyone had enjoyed their lives over the last five years.
Shortly after Turok and Jinora were married Bolin proposed to Opal and were married and now had two twin daughters.
Mako and Asami had a son and daughter in that order and Mako made sure they would never struggle in life as he and Bolin did.
Luke had met a girl in Athens and had a son.
As for Korra and Sean.
They lived peacefully in the Southern water tribe for the last five years spending every moment with their family.
The world no longer needed the Avatar as much since the Gods had solved all the problems of the world.
To Korra she was happy with this so she could spend every day with the family she loved so close to her heart.
As for Sean.
He had given up his warrior ways to be with his wife and daughters wanting to spend every day he could with them.
He had everything he needed and more.
Right now however though.
Korra was in the hospital as she was in labor with twins
"Ugh." Korra groaned as Sean sat next to her holding her hand.
"It's ok Korra." Sean said as she sighed.
"You would think after doing this four times before hand I would be ready for this." Korra said making him chuckle as he kissed her.
"I don't think it works that way." Sean said before Korra started breathing heavily as the doctor instructed her to push making her do so.
"AHHHHH!" Korra screamed as she heard soft crying as the doctors took the first one away before she focused on the second.
"UGH!" Korra groaned.
"It's ok. One more." Sean said kissing her as she started breathing heavily again.
"URGH! AHHHHHHH!" Korra screamed before a final cry was heard making Korra sigh in relief as the doctors took away the second one.
"First triplets, then a single and now Twins." Sean said making Korra giggle lightly. "How many do you want?" Sean asked.
"Whatever life gives me." Korra said.
"Oh." Sean said chuckling before the first was brought to them in a blue blanket.
He had Sean's white skin but had white hair like his grandfather.
As he opened his eyes he had the same blue eyes as his mother and smiled at them making them smile as Korra kissed him.
"Mmm. Mommy loves you so much." Korra said.
"I think it's only fair you name the first one." Sean said making her smile.
"Oh thats easy. Sean Ashburn Kruger Junior." Korra said making Junior laugh in his mother's arms making them smile.
Thats when the second one also in a blue blanket was brought to them.
He had a mix of his parent's skin color but had his mother's hair before he opened his eyes showing in his right eye he had his father's forest green eye while in his left had his mother's blue eye.
"Two eye colors. Thats rare." Sean said making Korra smile softly.
"Why don't you name him. Are you gonna name him after your uncle?" Korra asked.
"No. Atreus." Sean said making the now named Atreus smile at his father.
"Why that name?" Korra asked.
"It was the name of a solider who served under my father before his days serving Ares when he was corrupted. He always wore a smile in the worst of times knowing one day that hope would be restored." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him.
"It's perfect. Atreus Kruger." Korra said as her youngest laughed at her.
Thats when her parents and daughters walked in.
"Aw. I finally got brothers." Calliope said making Sean chuckle as Senna took Junior.
"I was wondering when you would have a boy." Senna said rocking her grandson who smiled at her before yawning as he fell asleep making her smile.
Thats when Turok and his wife walked in with a baby girl about 2 months old.
This was Catori which in Turok's language meant spirit. (I know I've used this name already but it just fits them you know)
She had her father's skin texture and her mother's hair and her father's blue eyes.
"Six kids. Seriously how many do you need?" Turok asked making Jinora giggle.
"Hey I got no problem with having more kids. Don't tell me she's the only one you two are gonna have?" Korra asked.
"Nope I'm thinking at least three or five." Jinora said rocking her daughter who yawned.
Sean smiled looking at his sons and daughters and wife.
The Legend of the God Slayer was over and Sean had everything he would ever need in his life.
And if the world ever needed him again he would be there to protect his family from whatever lied ahead.
Authors Note: And with that the Return of an old Legend is finally finished. I'm sad this is over like the Avatar's protector since both stories were amazing. Now Next story is the Avatar's guardian which will be a Godzilla crossover. This would have been updated yesterday but sadly my grandfather passed away on Wednesday the day I went to see him. So I might be taking a break from writing to spend time with my family since they are taking it pretty hard. Read, Review, Fav and Follow.
