Hi, everyone! I'm back with another chapter of DC Superhero Girls and Aura Guardian! Have you ever had to do an assignment for class that involved taking care of something and making sure that it was intact! Well, our friends are going to have a little trouble with that today! All aboard for a new adventure!

It was another day at Metropolis High, and Ash and his friends were having a class with Mr. Chapin, but some weren't paying attention, like Zee painting her nails, Oliver on his phone, Kara and Harleen napping, Carol staring at Hal Jordan and Ash lovingly, and Ash petting Pikachu, much to its enjoyment.
Mr. Chapin: The egg. This is your assignment while your regular teacher's out. I don't know anything about home ec, I'm more of an auto shop guy, so I looked online and this was the first thing I found. Now, I know you people don't know anything about responsibility or protecting the helpless, but I know you care about grades. So you're gonna partner up and bring your egg back Monday. INTACT. Or else! And don't even think about breaking it and buying a new one, 'cause I stamped them all.
Sure enough, when Babs looked at her egg, it was stamped, with Mr. Chapin's face.
Serena (Pokémon): [sweat drops] Okay!
Goh: [sweat drops] That's a little weird!
Raye: Least it seems fit [snickers]!
Mr. Chapin: Alright, here's the teams. Diana Prince and Karen Beecher.
Diana and Karen: [both giggle with excitement]
Carol was hoping she would be paired with Hal, but...
Mr. Chapin: Hal Jordan and Selina Kyle.
Carol: [gasps]
Hal: [to Selina] [flirty] Hey.
Carol: [gasps]
Selina: [rolls her eyes]
Mr. Chapin: Barbara Gordon and Garth Bernstein.
Babs: [excited] [gasps]
Garth: [laughs]
Ash: Hope I get paired with Zee, Raye, or my Serena!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Mr. Chapin: Serena Tsukino and Raye Hino.
Serena/Usagi: Well, better than nothing!
Raye: Agreed!
Ash: Oh well! At least I can still hope to get paired with Zee or my Serena!
Mr. Chapin: Serena Yvonne and Goh... Do you even have a last name?
Serena (Pokémon): [to Goh] [giggles]
Goh: [gives her a thumbs up] Let's do our best, Serena!
Ash: Well, I can still hope to get paired with Zee!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PI!
Mr. Chapin: Zee Zatara and Oliver Queen.
Zee and Oliver: [both gasp] [disgusted] Ugh!
Ash: [pouts] Aww, man!
Zee: Mr. Chapin, can't I just be paired with my Ashykins instead?
Ash: Yeah! Let her be with her Ashykins!
Mr. Chapin: I'm the one doing the pairing! So, no! You can't be with your "Ashykins"!
Ash: [pouts] Phooey!
Zee: Maybe next time, Ashykins! [blows him a kiss]
Ash: [smiles] [pretends to catch it]
Zee: [giggles]
Pikachu: [giggling] PIKACHU!
Mr. Chapin: Tatsu Yamashiro and Leslie Willis.
Leslie tried to snatch the egg from her, but Tatsu kept her guard up.
Tatsu: [exclaims]
Leslie: [laughs]
Mr. Chapin: Jessica Cruz and Pam Isley.
Jessica: [exclaims] [hugs Pam]
Pam: [groans]
Mr. Chapin: Carter Hall and Barry Allen.
Barry: [gasps] [tries to high five Carter] [pouts] [groans]
Serena/Usagi: He doesn't sound too thrilled now!
Mr. Chapin: Carol Ferris and Doris Zeul. And, since Doris is skipping as usual, Carol, looks like you're once again destined to be alone.
Carol: [scoffs]
Mr. Chapin: Mmm-hmm.
Goh: That's kinda cold!
Cinderace: [agreeing] CINDERACE!
Grookey: [jumps over to her] [greeting] GROOKEY!
Carol: Oh! Hello!
Grookey: [climbs onto her head] [beats stick] GROOK! KEY! GROO!
Carol: [giggles] Hey, now! Mind the hair!
Goh: [sweat drops] Like I said! Grookey's playful!
Mr. Chapin: Last and actually kind of least, Harleen Quinzel...
Harleen: [wakes up] Wait... What?
Mr. Chapin: ...and Kara Danvers
Kara: [wakes up] Huh?
Ash: [chuckles] Sis, did you fall asleep?
Kara: Uh, maybe!
Ash: [giggles] Oh! Mr. Chapin! I don't have a partner!
Mr. Chapin: Then, you'll have to be paired up with Carol since Doris is skipping class again!
Ash: [smiles] Sure! Fine by me!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Carol: EEEEEEEEEE!
Mr. Chapin: We good? Good.
Karen: [to Diana] Man, this is so great! We're gonna get A's for sure! I've been working on 3D printed packing peanuts that are 250% more shock absorbent!
Diana: And I have raised griffons from eggs since I was 170!
Karen: Ha! We've got this in the-
Unfortunately, the egg rolled off her desk, and it cracked onto the floor.
Karen: Crud.
Ash: Oh geez!
Serena/Usagi: That wasn't supposed to happen!
Goh: Bad luck, you guys!
Karen: Ya think?!
Tatsu: At last! My chance to surpass Diana Prince as valedictorian is at hand!
Ash: [sternly] Tatsu!
Tatsu: Uh...[nervous chuckles]
Leslie: [holds out hand] Well, put 'er there, partner!
However, when Tatsu shook her hand, she ended up breaking the egg.
Leslie: [laughs]
Serena/Usagi: You dummy! Your practical joke cost you your grade!
Leslie: Who asked you, Bun Head?!
Serena/Usagi: [fumes] Doh!
Ash: [to Tatsu] Don't worry, Tatsu! To me, you're my honor student!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Tatsu: Thank you, Ash!
Jessica: [to Pam] Isn't this exciting?! We're going to spend the whole weekend together, hanging out, taking care of our egg... [notices the egg is missing] Wait, where's our egg?
Turns out, Pam ate it raw.
Pam: [burps]
Jessica: [saddened] [disgusted] Ugh!
Serena (Pokémon): Now that's just fowl!
Ash: Gross, Pam! You ate it raw!
Pikachu: [sticks tongue out] PIKA!
Goh: Ugh!
Barry: [to Carter] This is super cool, right? Like, [whispers] you're Hawkman. And that means you know all about eggs and birds and stuff, [places the egg in his chair] so all you gotta do is keep sitting on that egg 'til Monday. Boom, instant A!
However, he ended up breaking it, leaving the egg on his pants.
Carter: [growls]
Barry: Bad call? Bad call.
Raye: Darn right it was [snickers]!
Meanwhile, Kara and Harleen were trying to get Mr. Chapin to switch them.
Kara: Yeah. We gotta switch partners, dude.
Mr. Chapin: "Mister" dude.
Incineroar: [facepalming] ROAR!
Harleen: I can't work with her, she's got emotional problems! Lemme be with Carol instead.
Mr. Chapin: Nope. Carol is alone-
Carol: I'M NOT ALONE!
Ash: Yeah! I'm her partner! [to Carol] Don't listen to him! What does he know?
Carol: [hugs him] My thoughts exactly!
Ash: [blushes] [giggles]
Pikachu: [snickering] PIKA PI!
Carol: And you get a kiss, Pikachu! [kisses its nose]
Pikachu: [blushes] [coos] CHA!
Mr. Chapin: Listen, you two. You're both one F away from summer school. So you either spend the next two days together or you spend the next three months together, got it?
Kara and Harleen: [groaning] [shake hands]
Later, at the mall, Kara and Harleen were buying packaging supplies for their egg. While they were having fun, they didn't realize they left the egg behind!
Harleen: [singing] We ain't goin' to summer school! We ain't going to summer school!
Ash: [sighs] This sure does take you back to the good old days, right Goh?
Goh: You mean back when Lucario was an egg? Then, yes!
Lucario: [blushes] [looks away] [embarrassed] MRAH!
Cinderace: [snickers] CINDERACE!
Ash: [giggles] [notices Kara and Harleen] Hey, Kara! Hey, Harleen!
Pikachu: PIKA PI!
Kara: Hey, li'l bro!
Incineroar: CINE!
Harleen: Hey there, Ashy Dashy!
Goh: Ashy Dashy?
Ash: [smiles] It's just a nickname she came up for me! Oh right! Harleen, this is my good friend, Goh! Goh, this is Babs' best friend from Gotham, Harleen!
Goh: Uh, hi there!
Harleen: Nice to meet'cha, Goh! [holds out hand] Put 'em, there!
Goh: [accepts the handshake] Okay!
But then...
Goh: [joy buzzed] [exclaims]
Harleen: [laughing] Gotcha!
Goh: [chuckles] Ok, I'll admit, that was a good one!
Ash: [giggles] Yep! Harleen's the best at pranks! Plus, she's one of the funniest girls I know!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Harleen: [hugs Ash] You say the sweetest things!
Ash: I try!
She then noticed Cinderace and Grookey.
Harleen: Whoa! A big wabbit and a little green monkey!
Goh: They're my Pokémon, Cinderace and Grookey!
Cinderace: [greeting] CINDER!
Grookey: [jumps over to her] GROO! [beats its stick on her head] GROO GROO GROOKEY!
Harleen: [giggles] Man, you got a sense of humor!
Goh: Sorry! My Grookey usually does that!
Harleen: No worries! [cuddles Grookey] It's just a little baby!
Grookey: [happy] GROOKEY!
Ash: So, how's the assignment going for you two?
Kara: Pretty good! Just got these packaging for our egg! Just need to package it! Harls, the egg!
Harleen: I thought you had it?
Kara: No, I thought you had it?
That's when they ran back to the store to search for it!
Ash: [sweat drops] Oh boy!
Pikachu: [sweat drops] PIKA...
Goh: They've got bad luck when it comes to eggs!
Ash: Yep!
Goh: I'll see you in a bit, Ash! I'm going to meet up with Serena!
Ash: Alright! Same goes for me and Carol!
Goh: Okay!
Meanwhile, Selina was walking by with her egg, and she wasn't too happy about being paired up with Hal.
Hal: [sneaks up behind her] So, you won the partner lottery, huh? Relax, babe, we got this. You're a chick, right, you got that whole nurturing thing? You should try smiling more.
Grovyle: [flirting with Liepard] GROVYLE!
Liepard: [turns head away] LIEPARD!
Ash: Hey, you guys! Have you seen-
Carol: There you are, Hal Jordan!
Hal: [gasps]
Ash: Hey, Carol!
Pikachu: PIKA PI!
Carol: And there you are, Ashy dear! [hugs Ash]
Ash: [blushes] [giggles]
She then noticed Lucario.
Carol: Oh! And who's this?
Ash: This is Lucario! One of my strongest Pokémon!
Lucario: [to Carol] [bows] MRAH MRAH!
Carol: I see! [pets Lucario] Nice to meet you, Lucario!
Lucario: [smiles] MRAH!
Ash: [notices the stroller] [giggles] I guess you got the egg a stroller!
Pikachu: PIKACHU!
Carol: Of course! It could be good practice for in the future!
Ash: [chuckles]
Carol: [to Selina] [coldly] Oh. Hello... Selina.
Hal: Oh, uh, hey, Carol. How'd you know I'd be at the mall?
Carol: [giggles] You always restock your athlete's foot cream on the third Saturday of the month. Duh!
Ash: Wow, Carol! You're good!
Carol: Thank you, Ashy dear! [kneels down to the stroller] [to Hal] Now, can you watch Hal Jordan Ashton Junior tonight? [pokes egg] I have to work.
Hal: [nervous] Hal Jordan Ashton Junior?
Carol: [giggles] [hugs his arm] He's just like you, delicate and round and sort of cold. [glares at Selina]
Hal: O-Okay, and why is its middle name Ashton?
Carol: [hugs Ash's arm] Because Ash here is my second crush!
Ash: [blushes] [giggles]
Plusle: [fighting with Minun over to push the stroller] PLU! PLU!
Minun: [fighting with Plusle over to push the stroller] MINUN! MI!
Ash: [gasps] Don't look now, Carol! Plusle and Minun are fighting!
Carol: Hey, you two! No fighting!
Ash: [pets their heads] [smiles] Why don't you takes turns? That way you'll both get to push!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!
Plusle: [complying] PLUSLE!
Minun: [complying] MINUN!
Ash: There! Problem solved!
Carol: And it's all thanks to you, Ashy dear!
Ash: Aww, it was nothing!
Then, there was trouble! Plusle accidentally pushed the stroller too hard and it was rolling away!
Ash: Uh oh!
That's when...
Vivillon: [Psychic move] VIVI!
The stroller stopped and levitated over to Ash and Carol!
Ash: [gasps] A Vivillon!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: Is it yours, Carol?
Carol: [as Vivillon landed on her shoulder] It sure is! And it's the most beautiful butterfly I've ever seen!
Vivillon: [happy] VIVILLON!
Plusle: [to Carol] [crying] PLUSLE PLUS!
Carol: It's okay, Plusle dear! It was an accident! Just be more careful next time, okay?
Plusle: [nods] PLUSLE!
Carol: [picks up Plusle] I still appreciate the help you're doing, Plusle dear!
Plusle: [happy] PLU PLU!
Hal: Uh, look, I got my own egg to worry about, all right? I mean, yeah, Selina's all nurturey and stuff, but she's a few eggs short of a dozen if you know what I'm sayin'... [cuckoo sign]
Carol: [to Selina] [smirks] Hmph!
Selina: [pushes her out of the way and smashes the egg onto Hal and storms off]
Hal: Meow.
Carol: Ugh!
Ash: [facepalmed himself] You're impossible, Hal Jordan!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
But Hal wasn't listening!
Ash: [to Carol] Carol, I'm gonna go meet up with the others! You good with that?
Carol: Of course, dear! [kisses Ash on the cheek]
Ash: [blushes] Thanks! [to Pikachu and Lucario] C'mon, you two!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Lucario: MRAH!
Ash: I'll see you in a little bit, Carol!
Carol: Okay!
And he left! Meanwhile, Zee and Oliver were conversing with each other.
Zee: Okay, we can both agree that I despise you, right?
Oliver: Yes. Wait, what?
Zee: So, the only way I see this working is if we treat it like an acting exercise. I'll play the role of Mother, you play the Role of Father, and we just have to keep Baby safe until Monday, got it?
Oliver: Of course! I could play Father in my sleep! I just need to come up with a tragic backstory...
Zee: [snatches the egg from him] Hmm!
Sylveon: [blowing a raspberry] VEEEE!
Zee: And another thing, we're naming our egg after my Ashykins!
Oliver: Ugh!
Zee: [goes over to Garth and Babs' table] [groans] Hey, guys, how's it going for you?
Babs: So good. Garth has this old baby carrier laying around and it's totally gonna get us the A!
Garth: Yup. [chuckles] Lucky my mom kept all my baby stuff. In my room... for me to use instead of getting normal stuff. [chuckles nervously] So lucky.
Oliver: Oh, so your mother actually has affection for her offspring? How novel. [slurps drink and glares at Zee]
Ash: Hey, you guys! Hey, Zee Zee!
Zee: [hugs him] Hi, Ashykins! [kisses his cheek]
Ash: How's the assignment for you all?
Zee: It's going great! I even named our egg after you!
Ash: You did?
Zee: Yep!
Ash: Aww, Zee! You didn't have to do that!
Zee: I know! But it just shows how much I love you! And it could be good practice for me and you in the future!
Ash: Yeah! You're right! I love you too!
Zee: [cuddles him] Though, I wish I could've been paired up with you instead of Oliver!
Oliver: I am right here!
Ash: [cuddles her back] Me too!
Zee: My big strong handsome sweetie pie!
Ash: [blushes] [giggles] Aww, Zee! I'm not that handsome!
Zee: Yes you are! [kisses his cheek, leaving a lipstick mark] Mwah!

Babs and Garth watched this lovingly.
Garth: They make a cute couple!

Oliver: How are you not stressed out by all of this!
Ash: Easy! I've had experience in raising Pokémon Eggs!
Oliver: I see!
Ash: Yep! Plus, I happened to raise Lucario from an egg!
Lucario: [agreeing] MRAH!
Oliver: Then I supposed it would be a Baby Pokémon then!
Lucario: [angry] [red vein] MRAH! MRAH MRAH MRAH!
Ash: It was when it was a Riolu!
That's when Serena and Goh came to their table.
Ash: Hey, Serena! Goh!
Goh: Hey, Ash!
Ash: How goes you and Serena's egg?
Goh: Pretty good! I even made sure Grookey didn't try to crack it!
Serena (Pokémon): Same goes for Pancham!
Ash: Awesome! [notices Serena/Usagi and Raye] Hey, girls!
Raye: Hey, Ashy!
Rini: Hi, Ash!
Ash: Oh! Hey, Rini!
Rini: I was hoping I could hang out with you today, future Uncle Ash?
Ash: Of course!
Rini: Yay!
Ash: [chuckles]
Rini: [to Serena/Usagi] Why do you have eggs?
Ash: School project, Rini!
Serena/Usagi: Yeah! What he said!
Rini: [to the egg] I think I'll call you Roger!
Serena/Usagi: It's not your egg to name, you little brat!
Zee: Come now, Serena! I actually think it's kinda cute!
Serena/Usagi: Cute is a bit of an understatement! Do you have any idea how long I had to suffer from my own future daughter?! She's a nuisance!
Rini: [sticks tongue out at her] NYAH!
Serena/Usagi: [fumes] Doh!
Babs: So Garth, can I borrow that thing to take the egg on patrol tonight? Gotta introduce it to "The Life."
Rini: What's "The Life"?
Garth: [gasps] No! You can't take her... I mean "it" crime-fighting. It's too dangerous.
Zee: He's got a point, Babs. It's an easy A if you just make it to Monday.
Oliver: Yes, let's not forget about the grade. Wouldn't want to mistakenly show we care, would we, Mother?
Ash: Watch the attitude, Oliver!
Zee: [inhales] Can we just have... [screams] A MEAL?!
Raye: [covers her ears] Not so loud, Zee!
Oliver: Oh, well that's just lovely! In front of our friends, too!
Ash: That's your fault! You provoked her to do that!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Oliver: Who asked you, you wannabe parent?! You probably don't have the right skills to be a father!
That got Serena (Pokémon), Zee, and Raye ticked!
Zee: Excuse you?!
Raye: How dare you!
Serena (Pokémon): You did not just say that about our Ash!
[indistinct arguing]
However, Kara and Harleen couldn't find their egg!
Harleen: [screams]
Kara: No, no, no! The egg is not there! What are we gonna do?! Think, Quinzel, think!
Harleen: [puts her finger on her chin] Hmm...
That's when she noticed Carol, Zee, Oliver, Babs, and Garth's eggs, and thought of an idea.
Harleen: Hey, Danvers, how bad do you wanna stay outta summer school?
Ash: You guys, stop fighting!
But they didn't stop! They just kept on arguing! Then...
Meloetta: [singing] RE RE RE RE. RE RE RE. RE RE RE RE RE RE RE RE! RE RE RE RE. RE RE RE RE. RE RE RE RE RE RE RE!
That made everyone stop arguing and look up to see a certain Melody Pokémon singing a song to soothe the anger within them!
Ash: [gasps] Is that...?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Zee: All of a sudden, I feel so much calmer!
Ash: Meloetta?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Then, Meloetta stopped singing and smiled!
Meloetta: [smiling] MELOETTA!
Ash: [gasps] It is you!
Pikachu: [overjoyed] PIKA!
Meloetta: [floating over to Ash] LOETTA!
Ash: [hugs her] I missed you so much!
Meloetta: [hugs Ash back] MELOETTA!
Goh: [gasps] No way! The Mythical Pokémon Meloetta?!
Meloetta: [scared] [hides behind Ash] MEL!
Babs: Um, Ash? Care to introduce us?
Ash: Oh, right! This is Meloetta! A Mythical Pokémon I befriended back when I traveled through the Unova Region! It's usually shy around others!
Garth: Whoa...
Zee: Meloetta, huh! [pulls out her Rotom Phone] Let's see!
Zee's Rotom Phone: Meloetta, the Melody Pokémon. A Normal and Psychic type. Its melodies are sung with a special vocalization method that can control the feelings of those who hear it.
Zee: Wow! That's kinda cool!
Meloetta: ETTA?
Zee: No need to be afraid, Meloetta! My name's Zee! It's very nice to meet you!
Meloetta: [floats over to her] [takes her hand] MELOETTA!
Zee: [giggles]
Serena (Pokémon): I can't believe my Ashy has made friends with Mythical Pokémon!
Ash: [chuckles]
Oliver: Are you sure he's just befriended them and not anything else?!
Meloetta: [scolding Oliver] ETTA ETTA MELOETTA! LOETTA!
Oliver: Who asked you?!
Ash: Nevermind him, Meloetta! What brings you here?
That was when Meloetta handed Ash a note from a friend of his that he helped back in Unova!
Ash: [gasps] It's a note from Ridley!
Pikachu: PIKA?
Lucario: MRAH?
Rini: What's it say?
Babs: Read it!
Ash: Okay! Okay! [reads the letter] Dear Ash, ever since we parted ways in the Unova Region, Meloetta has been thinking about you for a long time, so I decided that you should look after Meloetta since it really cares about you! I wish you the best of luck on your journeys! Sincerely, Ridley!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Ash: [excited] This is awesome!
Meloetta: LOETTA!
Goh: I'll say!
Babs: Got that right!
Serena/Usagi: This is amazing!
However, she accidently flung her and Raye's egg into the air, then it fell onto the floor, cracking itself.
Serena/Usagi: Oops!
Raye: [bonks Serena/Usagi on the head] Now look you've done, you clumsy Meatball Head! Now, we're gonna fail!
Ash: [sweat drops] Oh boy!
Pikachu: [sweat drops] PIKA!
Serena (Pokémon): [sweat drops] Tell me about it!
Goh: [sweat drops] I know!
Murkrow: [flies down] [eats the food on the table] MURK! MURKROW!
Garth: Hey! Shoo! That's our food!
Ash: That's a Murkrow!
Oliver: Hmmm. [pulls out his Rotom Phone] Murkrow?
Oliver's Rotom Phone: Murkrow, the Darkness Pokémon. A Dark and Flying type. Feared and loathed by many, it is believed to bring misfortune to all those who see it at night.
Oliver: Heh! What a bunch of hogwash!
Murkrow: [red vein] MUR! [pecking at him] KROW! KROW! KROW!
Oliver: OW OW OW OW OW!
Zee: [snickering]
Goh: In that case! [tosses PokéBall] PokéBall, go!
However, it knocked it away with Steel Wing and flew off, and the PokéBall ended up smashing his and Serena's egg!
Goh: GAH!
Serena (Pokémon): Oh no! Now we're gonna fail!
Ash: This is gonna be a long weekend, buddy!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
["Who's That Pokémon?" time]

At night, Harleen's plan was to steal Garth and Babs' egg, just as Garth was tucking it in.
Kara: [grunting] I can't do it. I can't steal. There has to be another way. [to Harleen] [pushes her] Like you stealing.
Harleen: [pats her shoulder] Gladly! [laughs mischievously]
But the egg was gone!
Harleen: Hey! What gives?
That's when they noticed an open window.
Kara: Looks like someone else had the same plan.
Incineroar: [facepalming] CINEROAR!
Turns out, Batgirl decided to take it out on patrol, as she was riding with it in her scooter.

Then it was launched out without a scratch!

It was tossed over another fence onto the ground.

But it still didn't break.

The straw that broke the camel's back was when a truck ran over it, crushing it.

The next day...
Carol: [knocking on Hal's door, as he opens up] [hands him the egg] I picked up a morning shift, so I need you to watch Hal Jordan Ashton Junior, Hal Jordan.

Turns out, they went to a nearby forest to do some Pokémon training.

Rowlet: [stopping] ROW!
Duskull: [stopping] DUSKULL!
Ash: [pets Rowlet] You did great, Rowlet!
Rowlet: [happy] ROW!
Carol: [cuddles Duskull] You were amazing too, my little red sweetie pie!
Duskull: [proud] [blushes] DUSKULL DUSK!

That's when they saw Kara and Harleen.

Kara: Nothing much! We really need to find a replacement egg! Stat!
Harleen: [picks up a strange egg] Found one!
Exeggcute: [annoyed] EXEGGCUTE!
Ash: That's not a regular egg, Harleen! That's Exeggcute!

Carol: Exeggcute?
Ash: [pulls out Rotom Phone] Yep!
Ash's Rotom Phone: Exeggcute, the Egg Pokémon. A Grass and Psychic type. It is often mistaken for eggs. When disturbed, they gather quickly and attack in swarms.
Kara and Harleen: Swarms?!
That was when more Exeggcute showed up!
Exeggcute (multiple): EXEGGCUTE!
Kara: Aw, crud!
Harleen: [nervous chuckles] Oopsie! [placed the Exeggcute back on the ground] Sorry about that!
Exeggcute: EXE!
And the Exeggcute left!
Kara and Harleen: Phew!
Ash: You two need to learn to watch what you pick up!
Kara: Yeah yeah! [to Harleen] C'mon! We need to find an egg!
Harleen: Right behind ya!
And they both left!
Ash: Those two! [to Carol] Wanna hit up Sweet Justice? I'm buying!
Carol: [hugs his arm] Ooh! Such a gentleman! And this could be our first date!
Ash: [tints a blush] Yeah, I know! Ready?
Carol: Sure am!
Soon, they left for Sweet Justice!
Meanwhile, Kara and Harleen snuck off to Hal's house to steal the egg, just as he was making a protein shake. However, he accidently put Ash and Carol's egg into the blender!
Kara and Harleen: [gasp] No!
[blender noises]
Incineroar: [facepalming] ROAR!
Poochyena: [sweat drops] POOCHY!
Later, at Sweet Justice, Oliver seemed to be exhausted and was having a milkshake.
Oliver: Leave it.
Barry: But Oliver you-
Oliver: I said leave it.
And he did just that.
Decidueye: [exhausted] CIDUEYE!
Oliver: Look at me, Barry. Look what she did. A shell of the man I once was!
Barry: [chuckles] "Shell," I get it!
Decidueye: [comforting Oliver] DECID!
Oliver: Thank you, Decidueye!
Decidueye: [sneezes] CIDUE!
Oliver: Bless you!
That's when Hal came in looking panicked!
Hal: [panicked] You guys... Does this look okay?!
Turns out, he tried to tape the egg back together, but it just broke.
Hal: I knew it. Carol's gonna kill me.
Ash then came in and saw what Hal had done to his egg.
Ash: [screams] Hal Jordan, what did you do?!
Pikachu: PIKA?!
Hal: I can explain!
Ash: There's no point! [facepalms] Me and Carol are gonna fail now! Why, Hal? Why?!
Hal: [nervous chuckles]
Zee: [shoves him out of the way] [to Oliver] I spoke to my attorney. I've agreed to partial custody.
Turns out, she hardboiled their egg.
Kara and Harleen: [screaming] No!
Kara: Ooh... [faints]
Incineroar: [catches her] INCINE!
Ash: Aww, son of a Bidoof!
Oliver: [gasps] Did you hard boil our egg?
Zee: Of course I did, you blithering... [gasps] [takes the other half out as Oliver glares at her] [smiles nervously] Oops.
Ash: Honest mistake, Zee!
Zee: I guess so!
Everyone was now outside, saddened that they're all gonna fail.
Babs: [sighs] Looks like we have to face it. We all messed up. There's no way any of us can walk into class tomorrow and get a passing grade.
Serena (Pokémon): Yeah!
Goh: The very thought gives me goosebumps!
Raye: We basically did this to ourselves!
Serena/Usagi: And now, we'll be donion rings!
Kara: [to Harleen] And we're gonna have to hang out like this for months!
Harleen: I know!
Kara and Harleen: [hug each other] [crying]
Dragonite: [hugs them in comfort] BRWAR!
Ash: We basically have bad luck with eggs! If it were a Pokémon egg, it would be different!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Ash: [to Zee] [smiles a bit] Well, at least we'll fail together!
Zee: [hugs Ash] Agreed, Ashykins!
Ash: [chuckles] [to Raye and Serena (Pokémon)] Get over here, you two!
And Raye and Serena (Pokémon) joined in the hug!
Ash: [giggles]
That's when a truck drove by dropping a box that had one egg with Mr. Chapin's face on it! Everyone saw the egg and decided an every person for themselves and tried to get the egg, but it started to roll away! Then, everyone chased after the egg! Babs was about to get the egg, but Karen shoved her out of the way and Diana got a hold of it instead! But Hal snatched it away, but Carter grabbed Hal making him drop the egg as it was rolling to the pier! Ash was going to stop it, but Oliver kicked him off to the side, making Zee very angry as she smack him hard! The egg rolled over to Tatsu and Doublade, but unknown to them, Carol was going to snag it and Vivillon and Doublade were fighting too, but the egg on the other hand flew up and landed on one of those test of strength games. Selina was going to get it with her swift agility, but Kara used the mallet and rang the bell causing the egg to fly high and onto a bumper car ride as the group chased after the egg. They managed to ram the car in front of them, causing the guy driving it to fly out of it with egg beside him as he landed on some stuffed animals while the egg flew overhead! And it was tossed back and forth all over the pier until it landed into Garth's hands. But then, everyone started a car fight trying to get the egg! However, unknown to them, the egg rolled over to Pam who had picked it up and walked away from the squabbling group!
Ash: We've gotta stop this!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA!
Goh: But how?!
That's when...
Meloetta: [singing] RE RE RE RE. RE RE RE RE. RE RE RE RE RE RE RE RE! RE RE RE RE. RE RE RE RE. RE RE RE RE RE RE RE!
That made everyone stop fighting and look up at the Mythical Pokémon! And everyone felt calmer!
Meloetta: LOETTA!
Harleen: Heh! I'm suddenly feeling a lot calmer now!
Kara: Me too!
Ash: That's Meloetta for you!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA!
Meloetta: MEL MEL!
Babs: Well, at least we've calmed down, but we lost the egg!
Then, a certain Parent Pokémon came over to the group! The group looked up at its face and it had glaring eyes at first, but changed into a warm and friendly expression!
Kangaskhan: KANGA!
Harleen: Whoa! That is one giant dino kangaroo!
Ash: That's no dino kangaroo, guys! That's a Kangaskhan!
Karen: [pulls out her Rotom Phone] Gotta check it out!
Karen's Rotom Phone: Kangaskhan, the Parent Pokémon. A Normal type. Kangaskhan protects its child by keeping it in its pouch. It has zero forgiveness for those who harm its child and will beat them down.
Karen: [gulps]
Hal: I see the parent, but where's the child!
Baby Kangaskhan: [pokes head out of pouch] KA!
Diana: That must be the child!
Zee: It's so cute!
Babs: EEEEE! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! It's so cute and tiny!
That was when the Kangaskhan lifted its baby from its pouch and placed it on the ground where it then started going over towards Zee!
Ash: Huh?
Pikachu: PIKA?
Then, it lifted its arms at Zee, indicating it wanted to be picked up!
Baby Kangaskhan: [wants her to pick it up] KANGA! KANGA!
Zee: You want me to pick you up?
Baby Kangaskhan: [nods] SKHAN!
Zee: [to the parent] Should I?
Kangaskhan: [affirmative] KANGASKHAN!
Zee: Alright! [picks up Baby Kangaskhan]
That was when the little one started nuzzling into Zee's chest!
Baby Kangaskhan: KANGA!
Babs: Aww!
Ash: Well, whaddya know! The little one likes you, Zee!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Zee: Aww! You're right! It is kinda cute!
Kangaskhan: [saying that she needs help looking after her little one] KHAN KANGASKHAN KHAN!
Zee: You need help? But why?
Kangaskhan: [saying that it's hard to care for a little baby when you're just a single parent] KHAN, KANGASKHAN KHAN KANGASKHAN!
Zee: [gasps] Wait... does this mean you... want me to catch you?!
Kangaskhan: [saying "yes"] KANGASKHAN!
Ash: Go for it, Zee!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Zee: Well, if you insist! [hands the little one over to Kangaskhan and pulls out a PokéBall] You really sure about this, Kangaskhan?
Kangaskhan: [trusts her] KANGA!
Zee: Well, alright! [tosses the PokéBall] Go, PokéBall!
The PokéBall then hit Kangaskhan, as it shook a couple of times, then letting off a successful 'ping', meaning...
Zee's Rotom Phone: Kangaskhan has been newly registered to your Pokédex!
Zee: I just caught a Kangaskhan!
Ash: Alright, Zee!
Pikachu: [happy] PIKA PIKACHU!
Meloetta: [happy] LOETTA!
Ash: Now you just have to let it out!
Zee: Right! [tosses the PokéBall] Come out, Kangaskhan!
Kangaskhan: [appearing] KANGASKHAN!
Zee: Kangaskhan, you and I are going to be great friends! And I promise to help you look after your little one in any way I can!
Kangaskhan: [hugging her] KANGASKHAN!
Zee: [giggles]
Ash: [smiles]
Pikachu: [happy] PIKA!
Meloetta: [happy] MELOETTA!
Then, there was trouble! Two retractable claws shot out and grabbed Meloetta and Pikachu!

Kara: What's going on?!
[And cue the motto]
Jessie: Prepare for trouble, you've stumbled on the truth!

Incineroar's Cross Chop freed Pikachu and Meloetta!
Pikachu: [free] PIKACHU!
Meloetta: [free] ME ME!
Jessie: Doh! Now you've got me mad now! Ready, James?!
James: Gotcha!
Jessie and James: [raising their arms up in the air] Come on down!
Pelipper: [singing] PELIP PELIPPER!
Then, it dropped their secret weapon from its bill!
Kara: [groans] This again?!
Garth: [eyes sparkle] Whoa! What is that?!
Goh: Don't get too excited, Garth! That thing's bad news!
Meowth: Oy vey! Here we go! [sticks his head in the coin slot]
Jessie: Our Secret...
James: ...Rocket Prize...
Jessie and James: Master!
Meowth: That's the way the cookie crumbles!
Then, out came two PokéBalls!
Jessie and James: [as they toss the PokéBalls] Fresh from Headquarters!
Then, out came a certain Iron Snake Pokémon and a certain Drill Pokémon!
Jessie: The Iron Snake Pokémon, Steelix!
Steelix: RAAAH!
James: And the Drill Pokémon, Rhyperior!
Rhyperior: RHYPERIOR!
Karen: EEP!
Diana: [pulls out her Rotom Phone] What are those things?
Diana's Rotom Phone: Rhyperior, the Drill Pokémon. A Ground and Rock type. It relies on its carapace to deflect incoming attacks and throw its enemy off balance. As soon as that happens, it drives its drill into the foe. [changes to Steelix] Steelix, the Iron Snake Pokémon. A Steel and Ground type. Its body has been compressed deep under the ground. As a result, it is even harder than a diamond.
Diana: Incredible!
Ash: Now's not the time to be impressed! We've got some baddies to bust!
Jessie: I don't think so, twerp! Crunch time, Steelix!
James: Rhyperior, Hammer Arm!
Steelix: [Crunch move] RAAAAH!
Rhyperior: [Hammer Arm move] PERIOR!
Ash: Brace yourselves!
Then...
Meloetta: [Relic Song move] RE RE RE RE RE RE RE RE RE RE!
That made Rhyperior and Steelix stop in their tracks!
Babs: What's it doing?
Ash: [gasps] It's using Relic Song!

When the transformation was complete, Meloetta looked different!

By using Strength, Kangaskhan lifted Steelix by the tail and spun it around!

Kangaskhan then released Steelix sending it flying into Rhyperior and crashing into Team Rocket!
Zee: Now, for the final act! Kangaskhan, Hyper Beam!
Kangaskhan: [Hyper Beam move] KANGA...SKHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!
Team Rocket: [screaming] GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
[explosion]
Soon, they were sent flying!
Team Rocket: WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!

[star finish]
Ash: Zee! You were amazing!

She then picked it up and cradled it in her arms.

Zee: You're just the cutest thing! And the best part is, taking care of you will be good practice for in the future!
Ash: Yeah! Plus, you've caught your fourth Pokémon! I'm really proud of you, Zee!

Ash: [blushes] [giggles] [to Meloetta, as it changes back] You were awesome too, Meloetta!

Hal: [takes out PokéBall] Oh I am so catching that!

Ash: Meloetta belongs to no one! It's a Mythical Pokémon that should be free to roam!

The next day in class, Pam had made the egg into an egg sandwich, and she was currently eating it, as everyone was glaring at her.
Serena/Usagi: That is just fowl!
Ash: At least she didn't eat it raw this time!

Ash: [to Zee] [smiles] Well, at least we'll fail together!
Zee: Agreed, Ashykins [nuzzles noses with Ash]!
That's when their teacher came in.
Teacher: Good morning, class. I hope you all had a good weekend.
Raye: Not particularly!
Teacher: Let's see what Mr. Chapin had you doing while I was gone. Oh, dear, not the egg thing. That is so outdated. I mean, who can't take care of a simple egg, right?
Goh: Yeah! No one can take care of an egg without something happening to it! [nervous chuckles]
Teacher: I hope that assignment didn't cause too much stress.

As so, Ash's face was covered in lipstick marks, from forehead to chin!

That's when she revealed a cage with Hammy and 9 little baby hamsters!

Zee: I guess you're right! And with helping to take care of the little baby Kangaskhan and whatever Pokémon hatches from this egg, it could be good practice for the both of us for when we have kids in the future!
