A retelling of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, with three new characters added in. Naryn, a Goblin adopted by Bilbo years before the events of the Hobbit, Freya, a half orc raised by Gandalf and the elves, and Tom Babadil, character from the book that I managed to fit into the story. After I did Star Wars: Sequels Retold, I wanted to do one of my favorite trilogies of all time!

Margaret finds herself on a journey she never dreamed of, following the fellowship of the ring through Middle Earth. She becomes torn between the love she found in Middle Earth, and the life and family she left behind. (I altered the shorter chapters into one long one, so that they better match with the later chapters).

She was determined to save her best friend and love interest, King Eleazar, from his near-death and give him the immortality he dreamt about since he was a young child. Is she going to succeed or no, and if she succeeded what would be the cost? Female Legolas.

She never counted on this new realm taxing her bravery, her heart and beyond all her faith. In time, she might even learn that adventuring deals grievous blows to the one who wants to remain unchanged and soften her heart for its sake.

It's not terribly hard, being a Mary Sue. I should know, after all, I am one. Complete with beautiful (insert bodily feature here), and an outstanding (insert personality trait here). The only prevailing issue I have with my present situation being that I'm not a Mary. I'm a Gary.

The Imrahilions and the Rohirrim hit the White City for Faramir's stag do. What could possibly go wrong? (My sincere apologies, Professor Tolkien!)

Healing is no easy matter, not for Èowyn of Rohan, of late come so close to the brink that all her rallying strength seems to fade. But she finds aid and understanding in the strangest of places. And perhaps, at lengths, she may even find an enduring reason to cling to life and banish, as best she knows how, the ghosts of the past.
