Zelda lived a normal life in Hyrule when she is told to move to live with her wealthy father, the Governor of Windfall Island. But when pirates intercept her ship on the crossing, she starts to question everything she believes. And Zelda is sure the Goddess hates her when she realizes that pirates are far more complex than the simple monsters she'd been told stories about.

Protecting the future queen of Hyrule and training its future knights were Impa's job, and one she took pride in. Unfortunately for her, in the process of the latter she finds herself trending down a path she never thought possible. She owed it all to him, the one person who made her feel like more than a warrior. She couldn't say she hated him for it, he was her favorite.

After getting drunk at a newly open tavern, Link starts recalling memories of his past lives and adventures, with Zelda, Paya and Purah listening while waiting for Link to eventually sober up. Mentions of several pairings with the main one being Zelink.

Sometimes fate has a way of twisting your destiny into unbreakable knots. And the Hero of Time finds himself stuck as a Zora, with no way to contact anyone and having to learn the ways of the Zora people. How will the Hylian boy turned Zora cope with his new life under the waves?
